Members of Trump campaign promoted propaganda from Russian "troll farm."

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

Some of the Trump campaign’s most prominent names and supporters, including Trump’s campaign manager, digital director, and son, pushed tweets from professional trolls paid by the Russian government in the heat of the 2016 election campaign.

The Twitter account @Ten_GOP, which called itself the “Unofficial Twitter account of Tennessee Republicans,” was operated from the Kremlin-backed “Russian troll farm,” or Internet Research Agency, a source familiar with the account confirmed with The Daily Beast.

The account’s origins in the Internet Research Agency were originally reported by the independent Russian news outlet RBC. @Ten_GOP was created on Nov. 19, 2015, and accumulated over 100 thousand followers before Twitter shut it down. The Daily Beast independently confirmed the reasons for @Ten_GOP’s account termination.

The discovery of the now-unavailable tweets presents the first evidence that several members of the Trump campaign pushed covert Russian propaganda on social media in the run-up to the 2016 election.

Of course these members of the campaign staff have some deniability since they can claim that they believed that the account really was representing the views of the Tennessee Republicans.

However it should be noted that the Tennessee Republicans disavowed the account and contacted Twitter to tell them to take it down, which they did, after 11 months.

It may be easy to understand how Kellyanne Conway was fooled by this, but the campaign's digital director?

Starting to smell more and more like collusion around here.

Trump sent private contractors to do the military’s job when 4 US troops died in Niger

The growing scandal of Trump's deadly botched mission in Niger is raising very disturbing questions the White House is refusing to answer.

Donald Trump sent in a private aviation contractor — instead of the U.S. military — to evacuate four soldiers killed in action in Niger, according to a troubling new report.

Even more disturbing, the body of Sgt. La David Johnson was reportedly left behind when the bodies of the three other soldiers were retrieved from the scene. His remains were recovered two days after the extraction by Nigerien troops.

Four Americans were killed in the surprise attack by forces believed to be connected to ISIS. Long after their deaths were revealed, Trump refused to speak about them in public. He has continued to boast that ISIS is giving up in the months since he became president, yet the terrorist group was freely able to launch its bloody mission.

Meanwhile, the story about what really happened has continued to change. Originally, it was not disclosed that as commander in chief, Trump had given the green light to outsource the job of retrieving the bodies to private contractors instead of the military.

They would not let the family view the body of David Johnson once it was received in the USA/home. Was it because he had been beaten to death? His body was not w/the others and was found two days later than the others! Boy, do answers need to be obtained in this matter. Smells like a huge cover up to me. And, don't forget that Johnson is black and we all know Trump's leanings!

      http://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/19/john-kelly-frederica-wilson-trump-243956

"“I was stunned when I came to work yesterday morning and brokenhearted at what I saw a member of Congress doing,” Kelly told reporters at Thursday’s White House press briefing. “A member of Congress who listened in on a phone call from the president of the United States to a young wife — and in his way tried to express that opinion that he’s a brave man, a fallen hero.”
"“He knew what he was getting himself into because he enlisted,” Kelly continued, referring to slain Sgt. La David Johnson. “There’s no reason to enlist. He enlisted, and he was where he wanted to be, exactly where he wanted to be with exactly the people he wanted to be with when his life was taken. That was the message.”
"“He asked me about previous presidents, and I said I can tell you that President Obama, who was my commander in chief when I was on active duty, did not call my family,” Kelly said. “That was not a criticism. That was just to simply say I don’t believe President Obama called. That’s not a negative thing. I don’t believe President Bush called in all cases. I don’t believe any president, particularly when the casualty rates are very, very high, that presidents call.”" <"'he decided to Double Down and escalate the WAR'."

    5. So why was he left behind? Was the first retrieval flight whites only? Was his a closed casket because he was left to decompose for two days?

Yeah, I think we definitely need an inquiry into Niger-gate. We need lots of public testimony.

Isn't that what all Trumpsters do? Promote propaganda from Russian "troll farm". It is a job requirement. If you're a Republican, it is a team requirement.

"Patkotak's family, he said, had taken in the nephew, who was suffering from mental illness and had been suicidal.

The nephew had no other place to stay — the state's system failed to help him "and he ended up at our house," Patkotak said.

"It put us in a very awkward situation, you know, because we loved the young man. We didn't want him out on the street," Patkotak said. "And so we took him in temporarily, and wanted to do our part to help him.""

...That’s the central question right now. Donald Trump clearly fears the Pee Pee Tape itself, or confirmation of its existence, is about to surface. It’s the only reason he’d risk reminding the American people of its existence, just so he can refute it in ridiculous fashion.

Whenever Donald Trump is confronted with anything that he perceives to be adverse he has a standard response, even if it not true, and even if it makes no sense. His first reaction is to deny the allegation.

His second response is to attack a person involved in the matter.

The third step is to claim “Fake News.”

Trump has done exactly that regarding the Russian investigation.

Congresswoman Frederica Wilson Just Perfectly Put An End To Trump’s Disrespectful Games

"The congresswoman will not be making any further comment on the issue because the focus should be on helping a grieving widow and family heal, not on her or Donald Trump," Wilson's spokesperson said in a statement.

...The White House is trying to demonize a member of Congress instead of addressing the President’s disrespect and insults to a grieving pregnant Army widow. There has been endless bluster and distraction from the administration, but what has been missing is an apology. The White House has never denied that Trump told La David Johnson’s widow that he knew what he was getting into when he signed up. The White House never denied that Trump never said Sgt. Johnson’s name to his grieving family.

The White House has never specifically disputed any details of the call. They have feigned outrage and disgust. They have attacked a member of Congress who was the messenger, but they have never denied or apologized for Trump’s words.

Donald Trump constantly needs an enemy, and the best way to neuter the President is to suck the oxygen out of his attempt to start a tabloid-style feud.

Rep. Wilson is correct. The story is how Donald Trump treated a grieving family, not her tit for tat with the distraction creating president.

Tantruming because John Kelly wasn’t able to fix his disrespect of fallen soldiers, Donald Trump launched a late-night attack on Rep. Frederica Wilson.

...Trump isn’t angry because he insulted a family who lost their loved one in combat. Trump is upset because the American people found out about his behavior, and this has generated bad publicity for him.

Apparently, somebody forgot to give Trump his bedtime meds. The President is out of control and trying to start a fight with a member of Congress to distract from his terrible behavior.

Trump’s distractions aren’t working as America is finding out daily who he really is.

GOP BLOCKS MEASURE TO PROTECT ARCTIC
Senate Republicans Vote Down Measure To Protect Arctic Refuge From Oil Drilling

“The notion that we, tonight, after 60-plus years, would give up what is a biologically important area ... for what? For oil we don’t need?”

...Republicans, including Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, have pushed to allow the Senate’s Energy and Natural Resources Committee (which Murkowski chairs) to pass legislation to raise $1 billion over the next decade. While a provision including the ANWR ― as the Arctic reserve is known ― isn’t explicit, environmental groups say government revenue from drilling permits in a portion of the refuge is a likely source to raise such money.

“Those who would support this amendment will deny us the opportunity to do something constructive in this country, when it comes to our opportunities to produce energy, to produce wealth,” Murkowski said. Parts of the ANWR that could be opened for drilling are thought to hold 10.3 billion barrels of oil, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
