New defense for Roy Moore courtesy of Rush Limbaugh. "Did you know that before 1992 when a lot of this was going on that Judge Moore was a Democrat? "

Courtesy of the Daily Rushbo:

RUSH: So no matter what the real stories are here and no matter what the evidence is, these guys, these people on the Republican side are making it clear they’re going to prevent this guy from ever being seated in the United States Senate.

Did you know that before 1992 when a lot of this was going on that Judge Moore was a Democrat? You didn’t know that? How about all these people now saying, “Oh, yeah, yeah, everybody here knew about Judge Moore. Oh-ho-ho, yeah, good old boy we’ve known about Judge Moore for a long time.” While he was a Democrat. Nobody said a word. When he supposedly was attracted to inappropriately aged girls, he was a Democrat. For what it’s worth.

I guess I'm supposed to have a response to this, but words fail me.

In other news apparently Roy Moore has removed a list of endorsement from his website:

Roy Moore's campaign website no longer contains a list of endorsements.

A message on www.roymoore.org said the list of endorsements "is currently being updated." A list of names was on the site as recently as yesterday.

The change comes after a host of Republicans have pulled their support from Moore in the wake of allegations he had improper sexual contact with two teen girls when he was in his 30s.

Yeah I think that list of endorsements is being updated to zero.

Also yesterday two new accusers stepped forward to point the finger at Moore:

Gena Richardson says she was a high school senior working in the men’s department of Sears at the Gadsden Mall when a man approached her and introduced himself as Roy Moore.

“He said, ‘You can just call me Roy,’ ” says Richardson, who says this first encounter happened in the fall of 1977, just before or after her 18th birthday, as Moore, then a 30-year-old local attorney, was gaining a reputation for pursuing young women at the mall in Gadsden, Ala. His overtures caused one store manager to tell new hires to “watch out for this guy,” another young woman to complain to her supervisor and Richardson to eventually hide from him when he came in Sears, the women say.

Richardson says Moore — now a candidate for U.S. Senate — asked her where she went to school, and then for her phone number, which she says she declined to give, telling him that her father, a Southern Baptist preacher, would never approve.

A few days later, she says, she was in trigonometry class at Gadsden High when she was summoned to the principal’s office over the intercom in her classroom. She had a phone call.

“I said ‘Hello?’” Richardson recalls. “And the male on the other line said, ‘Gena, this is Roy Moore.’ I was like, ‘What?!’ He said, ‘What are you doing?’ I said, ‘I’m in trig class.’ ”

Jesus, he actually had her paged at her high school. Damn that is some aggressive stalking right there.

The other woman says that the teenage girls at the mall all talked about how to avoid Moore, and were told “just make yourself scarce when Roy’s in here, he’s just here to bother you, don’t pay attention to him and he’ll go away.’”

The next story to pop up concerned not a teenage girl and an unmarried stalker, but a woman in the beginnings of divorce proceedings and an already married Roy Moore.

Courtesy of Al.com:

Once the papers were signed, she and her mother got up to leave. After her mother walked through the door first, she said, Moore came up behind her.

It was at that point, she recalled, he grabbed her buttocks.

"He didn't pinch it; he grabbed it," said Johnson. She was so surprised she didn't say anything. She didn't tell her mother.

She did however tell her sister who confirmed her story.

For their part Moore's legal team is focused on the yearbook he signed, because they are pretty sure that suckers a forgery. Never mind all of these other stories that confirm Moore's behaviors.

And that is good enough for Sean Hannity who, based on a letter Moore sent him, is back on the Roy Moore for Senator bandwagon.

Okay so was Rush implying that the only reason that Moore used to be a pedophile is because he was a Democrat, and once he switched parties he was cured?

Is that argument?

Damn, that much stupidity just makes my head hurt.

Unbelievable. Now Democrats are a race now and not a political party? I am a democrat and I believe that America should not belong to the rich and rich. Rush is an oxicontin Republican minded fat old whiteman who doesn't want to become obsolete. He wants what? To leave a legacy? What's his purpose?
Donald was also a democrat before he was a Republican. Hillary was a Republican before she was a democrat. Those are parties of opposing views. But I am wondering if Rush is on Putin's payroll?

Let's call the women and child molesters out finally. They are on both sides of the fence. I'll bet there are skeletons in the religious right side even.
Men who are entitled have crossed the line. Doesn't matter where you have served. The military, the church, politics, hollywood. Women have been preyed upon on every level in our country. It's coming out and fast. Now to politicize it would only damage this cause more. But that looks like what it's coming to. And then the women lose out.

The GOP’s Roy Moore nightmare just got worse. It could infect the battle for the Senate.

...Even as a new round of stories alleging inappropriate conduct have just landed with a thud on Roy Moore, Senate GOP leaders are floating yet another scheme to deal with this problem: postponing the election. But in an interview with an Alabama news outlet, the governor of the state has shut down that plan, too.

Which means the GOP’s Moore nightmare just got a whole lot worse. Indeed, there are also signs this saga is beginning to seep into some of the 2018 Senate races, which will help decide control of the upper chamber. In fact, it’s not impossible that Moore could remain a liability for Republicans for years.

First, Republicans want tax cuts. Next, they’ll try gutting Medicare and Social Security.

...President Trump and congressional Republicans want Americans to think that their proposed tax legislation is all about increasing economic growth.

That’s their stated goal. But the stealth goal of GOP tax cuts is to start down the path toward gutting the New Deal and the Great Society — and if tax cuts pass, they might get away with it.

    Just how bad are Republicans?

It turns out that electing President Trump was not the apex of Republicans’ political insanity. Since last November, consider the Trump GOP’s track record:

The GOP’s idea of health-care reform was trying to remove millions of people from health-care coverage while giving tax cuts to the super rich. Having learned their lesson (not), Senate Republicans now support a tax bill that will remove millions of people from health-care coverage while giving tax cuts to the super rich — and to big corporations. Its tax plan contains permanent, huge tax breaks for corporations (e.g. reducing the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 20 percent) and a new 25 percent rate for pass-throughs but temporary breaks for the middle class (e.g. the $300 “family flexibility” tax credit per filer).

The GOP’s environmental agenda includes climate-change denial (despite the government’s own confirmation that climate change is real and man-made), lifting the ban on importing elephant trophies (the first sons are avid big-game hunters and Christmas is around the corner) and trying in vain to save the coal industry. Trump’s GOP has made China look like a leader in global environmental issues.

This is one of the saddest aspects of the Trump candidacy and presidency

...Yet to seek elected office for revenge, to use it to get back at someone or inflict harm on them or anyone associated with them seems in some ways even worse; shabby, petty and immoral.

Examine the roots of the Trump campaign and you see two men eager to use position to take revenge, to get even for insults, imagined or sometimes real, and to lash out at perceived conspiracies against them:

Donald Trump himself… and Vladimir Putin.

Whether or not there was active, knowing collusion, the two nonetheless joined forces to tap into decades of American fears and resentments not totally dissimilar from their own.

‘That was part of life’: Elderly Alabama voters say Roy Moore’s teen molestation used to be considered normal

As allegations of sexual misconduct continue to plague Roy Moore’s Senate candidacy, Vice News reporter Alexandra Jaffe went to Alabama to talk with two elderly voters who each said that it used to be incredibly common to see older men make sexual advances on underage teenage girls.

“We just didn’t hear about it,” Alabama native Marjorie Reese told Jaffe of older men pursuing teenagers. “I do think it happened.

“The things that happened to women back then, they didn’t tell it because they wouldn’t have been believed,” explained Margaret Tudor, an Alabama native who is backing Democrat Doug Jones in the upcoming election. “And it’s so hard to come out and tell something like that.”

Reese then recalled that there was widespread harassment of teenagers back when she went to high school.

“Mean teachers touched us, maybe inappropriately, but we just didn’t say anything,” she said. “That was part of life… The women, you know, the underdog, we always had to do what the men said.”

But unlike Tudor, Reese tells Jaffe that she still plans to vote for Roy Moore because nothing definitive against him has been proven.

WATCH: 16 women tell their heartbreaking stories of sexual assault by Trump

Among the deluge of sexual assault accusations pouring in against powerful men around the country, it’s critical to remember that Donald Trump is among the accused. At least 16 women have charged Trump with sexual assault or harassment, and allegations date back three decades. A documentary short from Brave New Films compiles heartbreaking statements from those 16 women, which, taken together, are “incredibly powerful, and damning.”

“As a society, we are finally beginning to hold powerful men to account for abusing their positions and influence to harass and abuse women. But this movement for accountability will ring hollow if it doesn’t apply to the most powerful, and public, sexual harasser in America—the president,” Brave New Films founder Robert Greenwald notes in a statement.

“In the post-Harvey Weinstein (or Roy Moore, Louis C.K., etc.) world we live in, we cannot ignore 16 women who over the course of decades in a broad range of situations encountered the same pattern of manipulation, misogyny, harassment and abuse,” Greenwald adds.

“We owe it to these women, and to all women, to hold President Trump to account.”

Sean Hannity sticks with Roy Moore as his TV ratings tumble and advertisers flee

The Fox News host is losing his audience and his advertisers, but he's stubbornly standing with the Republican accused of molesting children and preying on teenagers.

...Hannity, though, has more than an advertiser problem. He also has a ratings problem thanks to Roy Moore.

Since the child molestation scandal broke on Nov. 9, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has been consistently beating Hannity in the 9 pm hour among ad-friendly viewers 25-54. And she’s doing that in part because the Moore fiasco appears to have depressed Hannity’s audience.

One week before the Moore story enveloped the GOP, on Nov. 2, Hannity drew 739,000 viewers, 25-54. The night before the Moore story broke, on Nov 8, Hannity drew 672,000 demo viewers. The night of the Moore story? Hannity’s demo viewership plummeted to 567,000. So in the span of one week, Hannity lost nearly 25 percent of his demo viewership.

Meanwhile, Maddow’s show has surged during the Moore coverage. Her demo audience beat Hannity on Nov. 9, Nov. 13, and Nov. 14. (Maddow did not host a show on Friday, Nov. 10.)

Breitbart editor wants Ivanka to keep mum on Roy Moore ‘when there’s so many allegations against President Trump’

On Thursday, Breitbart’s top editor said what many have been thinking: that Ivanka Trump’s condemnation of Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore is ironic given the many allegations against her father.

As Media Matters notes, Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow expressed dissatisfaction with the president’s daughter/adviser’s statement that “there’s a special place in Hell for people who prey on children,” and that she has “no reason to doubt [Moore’s] victims’ accounts.”

“When Donald was being accused of these things where there was definitely more proof and more opportunity, where was she then?” a caller on Breitbart’s SiriusXM radio show asked. “But now she’s all outraged by Roy Moore. I don’t know why she just doesn’t keep quiet.”

“Right, especially when there’s been so many allegations against President Trump,” Marlow replied. “So why does Ivanka want to continue to pile on?”

Luckily, he appeared to have discovered an explanation.

“I think that she just loves getting her name out there in the headline and they can put more photos up,” he concluded. “So that’s her ammo.”

This reminds me of when I was young and husband's old grandfather would do this. They are even same physical types and look much the same. Rich Republican, too. So gross I don't have the words.

The reminder of this slobbery mouth will always turn my stomach. It happened in front of everyone. Sometimes his slobber was so extreme it would stream. His wife would make jokes and laugh it off. Everyone was shocked even though it kept happening at various family gatherings. I had no idea what to do. I was told he didn't mean anything and to just deal with it, in a humourous way. He was a old grandpaw and these things happen. Keep a happy family. (I didn't, I left them but never was able to deal with that one problem) MeToo! But they are all dead now.

This is not good parenting. It could be grooming. Parents should not be using their children with famous pedophiles or any kind of pervert. http://cdn.cnn.com/cnnnext/dam/assets/140226114356-15-ted-nugent-restricted-horizontal-large-gallery.jpg

Courtney Love is still alive and it is clear Ted was a draft dodger and liked young girls and cat scratch fever. A good way to dodge but he went even further. Sarah and Todd Palin know how serious Nugents mistakes and lies are. It is child abuse to expose a young child to anyone like him, especially with them having approval of him and in all the fun and music good times. YUK!
If you place your child with a child sex molester that is a version of your part in child sex molestation. Nugent is not for children. Not teens, not even good for an underdeveloped young person like Track Palin. I would not want my 40 year old son near someone like Ted Nugent. I can't imagine being all happy and accepting of such a low life and dragging my children as adults or not into that scene to be photographed. I would never want to send that message. Sarah Palin is far to comfortable with it.
