Texas man killed by shot to the head while teaching son gun safety. Well that there's an "F" boy.

Courtesy of News4 San Antonio:

The Comal County Sheriff's Office says the 53-year-old man was teaching his son how to shoot on a more than 10 acre private property in Bulverde when it happened.

Deputies say it was an accident. Many in the community are saddened by the news, but local gun expert Jaime Correa says it's not unusual for kids to learn how to handle a gun at such an early age.

Nope it is never too young to teach them young'uns about shooting people in the head.

After all isn't that how people in Texas win arguments? (And Alaska to be honest.)

When that article was written the father was still clinging to life, but he didn't cling for long.

And the kid will carry the guilt of killing his father for the rest of his life. That's the really sad part.

it's not the boy's fault. i have such sympathy for him. if he ever decides to use a gun again he will be very careful. i hope he doesn't. i keep calling on the NRA to run classes for this but that impeads their second amendment rights.

5:19, that's how the NRA got its good reputation in the beginning. They were THE primary gun safety instructors available for civilians.

That''s why I joined them many years ago. Then the garbage they have running things started with their fanatical 2nd amendment crap and the shit hit the fan.

And that's why I told them to remove me from their list of members. That took a while to accomplish.

  7. Presumably the child was aiming at a target. How did his father's head suddenly get in the way?

Wasn't there a "good guy with a gun" around that could have shot that kid and saved that guy's life?
    Hey! Hey! NRA!
Have you got blood on your hands today?
