Prince Harry interviews Barack Obama for the BBC.

Courtesy of CNN:

In a teaser released Sunday, the pair's longtime bromance was on full display as they traded quips while Harry explained his editorial process.

"Do I need a British accent?" Obama interrupts, shooting a smirk at the prince.

Without missing a beat, Harry responds "not at all" before warning the former commander-in-chief that he'll get "the face" if there are any long pauses between answers.

After Harry displays a mock-stern face, Obama grins before responding: "I don't want to see that face."

Kensington Palace said the conversation focuses on the pair's "shared interest in building platforms for the next generation of young leaders."

Obama also reminisced about his memories of leaving office and discussed his post-presidential work with the Obama Foundation, according to the palace.

That is quite a witty repartee these two share.

I think Joe Biden is somewhere seething with envy.

At this rate Obama will not just be a guest of honor at Prince Harry's upcoming nuptials, we will be a freaking groomsman.

This interview is scheduled to air on December 27th.

I know I'm watching.

Dotard Jr has three photos on his Instagram account holding a birthday Obama cookie and making faces. One of the pics is with Ted Cruz. These freaks are insanely jealous of the class, accomplishments and high regard that President Obama will always have. They are such petty little 8th grade mean girls and as time goes on, the Trump administration will only be more of a failure and embarrassment to the country.

Me too - I'll be listening and watching. Think both the guys to be outstanding men!

Both far exceed the abilities of Donald Trump, the true idiot from America!

" Jackson, previously the GOP’s 2013 nominee for lieutenant governor, has said in the past that people who want to be referred to by gender-neutral pronouns indicate that they are possessed by “multiple demons” and that gay and lesbian citizens are “frankly very sick people psychologically, mentally and emotionally,” a comment for which he has recently expressed regret. He has also said that former President Barack Obama “clearly has Muslim sensibilities”—implying, of course, that that was a bad thing—and that Planned Parenthood “has been far more lethal to black lives than the KKK ever was.”"a campaign on the preservation of Confederate monuments in Virginia, despite hailing from Minnesota. In 2017, he launched an insurgent gubernatorial bid and almost won the nomination during which he referred to his opponent as a “cuckservative.” Stewart was fired from the Trump campaign for, as he put it, standing up against “establishment pukes” at the Republican National Committee when the Access Hollywood tape came out. Most recently, during his brief stint supporting Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, Stewart revived unfounded claims made by Trump that Obama’s birth certificate is fraudulent."local and national Republicans are frantically trying to recruit or prop up any other breathing human to run as an alternative to Jackson and Stewart. Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, reportedly met recently with former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore to cajole him into a run. Sens. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Mike Lee (R-UT), meanwhile are in touch with state Delegate Nick Freitas, who is also seeking the nomination."

Obama has a foundation? I guess trump doesn’t know about it or he would be whining that it needs to be investigated... but then again.... does the DOJ have jurisdiction in Kenya?

    OT"Here's the full readout:

President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia called President Donald J. Trump today to thank him for the advanced warning the United States intelligence agencies provided to Russia concerning a major terror plot in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Based on the information the United States provided, Russian authorities were able to capture the terrorists just prior to an attack that could have killed large numbers of people. No Russian lives were lost and the terrorist attackers were caught and are now incarcerated. President Trump appreciated the call and told President Putin that he and the entire United States intelligence community were pleased to have helped save so many lives. President Trump stressed the importance of intelligence cooperation to defeat terrorists wherever they may be. Both leaders agreed that this serves as an example of the positive things that can occur when our countries work together. President Putin extended his thanks and congratulations to Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director Mike Pompeo and the CIA. President Trump then called Director Pompeo to congratulate him, his very talented people, and the entire intelligence community on a job well done!"The second half of the readout is almost completely Trump: The emphasis on defeating terrorism as Goal No. 1, stressing the importance of a positive relationship with Russia, the reference to “very talented people” at the CIA, and most notably the exclamation point at the end. (I tried to find another White House readout that ended with this punctuation and came up empty.)"
"Was this Putin getting out in front of the White House to try to put Trump in a box? Or did the two countries decide this piece of information might help sell a stronger relationship to a skeptical Congress? Either way, the readout is yet another weird chapter in a weird relationship."

"The story shows us the refugee crisis as a whole, but also provides a galvanizing example of how refugee families are given the chance to start over and exhibit extraordinary resilience. This story also shows how all of us can respond in a moral fashion to a troubled world by doing good on a human scale. Readers are changed and see the world through different eyes after reading this book.

With the US at a political crossroads around questions of immigration, multiculturalism, and America’s role on the global stage, Helen Thorpe presents a fresh and nuanced perspective."

I hope Trump sees it. It would gall him terribly that the black guy is a personal friend of the royal family and the British aren't willing to tolerate even a brief visit from Trump.

  13. Nothing like having an (ex) President as your groomsman. I sure hope that happens.

Even if it doesn’t Trump will be livid that Obama gets and interview while the citizens of England are protesting so much it is blocking him from his state visit riding in a golden coach with the Queen just like Putin did.

I find it hard to believe they can insulate Trump so well he has no clue how generally reviled and hated he is, not just by Americans but by the world.
