Billionaire Tom Steyer proclaims that "My fight is to remove Donald Trump from office and from power."

Courtesy of Politico:

Tom Steyer, the Democratic hedge fund manager-turned-activist, won’t run for either senator or governor of California in 2018, instead investing $30 million in an effort to flip the House, he told reporters on Monday.

“My fight is not just in California, my fight is in removing Donald Trump from office, and from power,” said Steyer, whose announcement won’t dispel speculation that he might run for president in 2020.

Steyer plans to use his NextGen America political group to juice millennial voting numbers in 10 states, he said. He singled out House Speaker Paul Ryan (Wis.), Reps. Darrell Issa (Calif.), and Barbara Comstock (Va.) as targets.

The billionaire has been the biggest donor to Democrats in recent election cycles, to the tune of nearly $200 million. His national stature has grown recently with a series of straight-to-camera ads, calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

I think it is best that Steyer refuse to be seduced by calls for him to run for office, as he is definitely more effective as an activist and political donor.

I'm just glad this guy is on our side.

'“The greatest danger to the Farm Belt is that Mr. Trump might withdraw from the North American Free Trade Agreement."“One argument Mr. Trump should hear is that a U.S. withdrawal from Nafta would most hurt states like Iowa and Wisconsin that gave him his election victory.”" “Trashing Nafta would be among the great self-inflicted wounds in history. It would also tell other countries that the U.S. can’t be trusted to keep its word on trade, which would make it impossible to cut the bilateral trade deals the President says he wants. This is a strategy for making America weaker.”"

A woman's worst nightmare? That's pretty easy. Novelist Margaret Atwood writes that when she asked a male friend why men feel threatened by women, he answered, "They are afraid women will laugh at them." When she asked a group of women why they feel threatened by men, they said,
"We're afraid of being killed."<TRUE STILL

Really 8:26? Inspiration is covering your husbands sexual assaults and using power to silence his accusers, all for political ladder climbing? Disgusting. There is almost nobody more disgusting on this planet than Hillary.

What a douche. Steyer thinks he can solely override the system and voters with his money. How Democratic of him.

Maybe he should spend his money cleaning up all the problems and corruption in the DNC and the existing old baggage in the Democratic Party so that they actually can find some decent candidates and platforms to run on.

Do you just want to be mad and stomp your feet till the next election 8:28? If that is all the Democrats are bringing it is nothing but a big liberal circle jerk, and Trump will easily slide into a second term. Easily.

Umm, just like the Koch brothers, Waltons, DeVos family, Mercers have been working to override the system for years? Along with GOP gerrymandering, and out right
lying to constituents, what part of the system is Steyer messing with? Citizens United works both ways and not all billionaires are greedy oligarchs who worship money over their country.

I would like to see Mr. Steyer use some of the billions he got by gaming the stock market, and buy up some of these rightwing AM radio networks, and turn them away from the propaganda they spew almost 24/7. Their reach is amazing and they have turned many a good human being in to a evil republican. If he would do that I would believe him to be a real deal patriotic American. Signing a statement asking for impeachment of Trump is a positive thing but alot more than that is needed.
