Julian Assange's health is suffering as a result of hiding from authorities in an Ecuadorian embassy. Don't everybody shed a tear at once.

Courtesy of The Guardian:

Julian Assange’s long stay in the Ecuadorian embassy in London is having a “dangerous” impact on his physical and mental health, according to clinicians who carried out the most recent assessments of him.

The pair renewed calls for the WikiLeaks publisher to be granted safe passage to a London hospital.

Sondra Crosby, a doctor and associate professor at the Boston University’s school of medicine and public health, and Brock Chisholm, a London-based consultant clinical psychologist, examined Assange for 20 hours over three days in October.

In an article for the Guardian, they wrote: “While the results of the evaluation are protected by doctor-patient confidentiality, it is our professional opinion that his continued confinement is dangerous physically and mentally to him and a clear infringement of his human right to healthcare.”

Although the two did not go into details, Assange’s health appears to be deteriorating significantly after more than five years holed up in the embassy.

Well that's a real shame isn't it?

Poor little Julian has to hide out after working with the Russians to interfere in our last presidential election and to avoid those allegations of sexual assault.

That must be a terrible burden.

But do you know where you can get top notch medical treatment?

In a Federal prison.

Yep they would certainly fix him right up, and I am positive that there are open invitations to prisons from all over the world.

Or he could just stay where he is and take his chances.

Simply could not care less.

I can't waste my time with concern for Julian Assage. He can stay put or have a trial for his sex problems. We have issues we need to deal with here. Our role model in chief sucks and our children are hurting and living in fear.

Most nations have not had a school shooting EVER. Kentucky Was Nation’s 11th of Year. It Was Jan. 23.
There have been 11 school shootings in the first 23 days of this year. One of the President’s jobs is to create policies to keep kids safe. So far, @realdonaldtrump has been silent. I’d like to hear about his plan to address this issue.

  10. How is it prisoners who've been incarcerated for decades manage to maintain some semblance of good health.

Mental health conditions do not improve when people are incarcerated.
Me, I’m wondering what his mental health was to start with.

Isn't there a balcony somewhere at the embassy where he can sit outside and breathe fresh air? Really, I have no sympathy for someone like Assange.

Yes, there's a balcony where he has appeared- but a lot of people don't get a lot of sunshine (eg skin cancer pts) and they take Vitamin D to make up for it.

  13. Hey, he can leave at any time. No one is forcing him to stay locked up in the Embassy.

He just doesn't want to face the consequences of his actions.

    Tough shit.

Assange has had a steady stream of famous people visiting him: all those Right-wing British and American politicians, celebrities like Lady Gaga and Pamela Anderson.... those are just the ones I know of. He's not wanting for anything.

He's not young any more, he's at an age where health problems make themselves evident, and that's a problem for him- but he has all the resources to have treatment at the embassy that you or I could never have. If he needs treatment off-site then too bad for him, he'll have to face the consequences of giving Trump to the world.

"But MPR said in its statement it launched an internal investigation as soon as it received a general allegation against Keillor in August. MPR said it did not learn the identity of the alleged victim, and didn’t get specifics of the allegations, until it got one letter from a former employee Sept. 29 and one from the alleged victim Oct. 22."

It is imperative that the procucers of ‘The Detour’ to Alaska launch an investigation immediately about the allegations and the statements and evidence in the book Boys Will Be Boys: Media, Morality, and the Coverup of Todd Palin.
It is inexcusable for Shailey Tripp's words to continue to be ignored. Why? So Palin can get a job? What is wrong with Jason Jones and his wife (producers and creators)?
