Just another reminder that Trump's comments about bringing down black unemployment were completely full of shit.
Donald Trump has not implemented any policies thus far that really help anybody except his rich friends and of course himself.

What the graph shows is that Trump has continued Obama-era policies that have lowered Black (and everyone else's) unemployment. How is that 'only helping his rich friends'? Now, do I think this is due to some initiative or even desire to employ more African Americans? Maybe not, but the economy is doing well and has largely recovered (and continues to recover) from the 08 recession and this graph shows that. More than a year in this is Trump's economy and even if all he is doing is not f'ing up what his predecessor put in place he gets to take credit for it.
And, of course, black incarceration rates will rise to keep black unemployment rates low also, thanks to Keebler elf.
