My favorite part of this was that Maher delivered it while sitting right next to Anthony Scaramucci, who holds the record for the shortest stint in any administration ever.
Maher also made fun of the Nunes memo, suggesting that it read like a glorified "Facebook post that you scan before you click unfriend."
Could not say it better."it's already in your heart"
ReplyDeleteNow it's out there!
Eat my fucking shorts, stupid trump supporters/enablers,imbeciles,racist haters!!
Bill Maher does an outstanding job when it comes to Donald Trump. Wish more would follow his lead and put out there all the bullshit they can prove about Trump that is NOT factual! Maher's humor is the very best - dry, sarcastic and always on point!
ReplyDeleteI watched it in its entirety. Know how someone’s owned? When they won’t shut up and let others get their opinion in edgewise. Welcome to The Mooch. What a pathetic excuse he is HAvahd educated or not.
ReplyDeleteI thought of it more like he is exposing his weak underbelly. He let’s a lot of stuff go but the thing about his business deal falling through is like poking an abcessed tooth with him. He just can’t let it go without correcting it.
DeleteI will say that on some of the stuff Maher seems to be losing it. He is just so horrified at what Trump is doing, continues to do and then adds MORE horror on horror. He is also at wit’s end that the Deplorable uneducated continue to support this lying orange loser. He can’t understand how anyone can’t see through Trump and the Republicans. And I totally understand. I stilll don’t understand people that will vote against their own best interests. KNOWINGLY vote against their own best interests.
I think The Mooch was very astutue there although he really didn’t get a chance to express it. Trump payed the working class. He made them think it cared about them, was one of them (at heart) and was going to take care of them. Basically he lied and they are still believing it. Bernie Sanders also understood the wants and needs of the working class. That is why he was so popular, more so than anyone anticipated.
mlaiuppa, I don't trust people who talk fast and over others to get their point across. Pure and simple. What are you so GD upset about, know it all Mooch?
DeleteGotta hand it to Bill. If it wasn't for New Rules, I would have said, "cut the mic!"
Maher has had worst interchanges between guests on his show.
DeleteI didn't find Mooch interesting at all. Felt sorry for Maher having to try and shut him up - didn't work well.
ReplyDeleteMooch truly was a waste of time in having on his show. Another Republican egomaniac!
Maher did have a point to his compliment. The Republicans know what they’re getting in to when they accept his invitation to be on the show but they come anyway. They’ve got balls of iron and the Democrats could use some.
DeleteAbsolutely, mlaiuppa, and we ask again, where the HELL are they? If they don't speak up then they are complicit in it, and I don't need any political talk show nor "news" network telling me that I'm wrong as they scream at each other like banshees.
Delete6:03; Frum pleasantly surprised me. He is a conservative, but he spoke clearly and sanely. He's one conservative I think will be back.
DeleteI didn't like Mooch either. But was nice to see David Frum speak up.

KEY POINT: The main allegation in Steele's dossier *isn't* that Putin has blackmail on Trump. It's *money laundering*. The claim is Trump took Russian money via shell corporations in exchange for a more favorable Russia policy. And what's Mueller looking at now? Money laundering.

“F---ING SITH LORD,” “HORRIFIC LEAKERS,” AND “BERSERKAZOID CRAZINESS”: THE MOOCH RECALLS HIS BRIEF SHINING FORTNIGHT AT THE CENTER OF AMERICAN POLITICS
ReplyDeleteSteve Bannon is the ultimate swamp creature, Reince Priebus acts like Richie Cunningham, Donald Trump is like Michael Jordan, and other observations of Anthony Scaramucci.

NUNES MEMO ACCIDENTALLY CONFIRMS THE LEGITIMACY OF THE FBI’S INVESTIGATION
ReplyDeletehttps://theintercept.com/2018/02/02/nunes-memo-fisa-trump-russia/
The GOP’s FISA Memo Is a Fraudulent Farce
ReplyDelete...To sum up, the GOP’s FISA memo is disinformation, to use the proper espionage term, and it’s not even a good job of it. The Nunes memo further undermines Team Trump’s fraudulent assertions about 2016. If this inept effort was the vaunted “silver bullet” designed to rescue Donald Trump from the Mueller inquiry, the president is in deep trouble indeed.

Team Trump Just Blew Its Cover
ReplyDelete...Yesterday, after months of slippage, Team Trump finally blew its cover, exposing that it possesses a strange and unsettling fealty to the Kremlin for which there is no longer any benign explanation. Any one of yesterday’s bombshell developments would overtake the news cycle for weeks in any normal White House, yet this administration is anything but normal.

DeleteI watched the monologue, and New Rules. Didn't have the stomach for the Mooch. Too much energy is being give over the the never ending mudhole of an administration that we seem to be saddled with, like it or not.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see Donald Trump on TV I put on mute. Can't even stand the sound of his voice. He loves to hear himself.
The Mooch may be a self-promoting slimeball but he is always entertaining.

ReplyDelete"Trump should understand one thing: if he and his Republican backers really knew the truth about life in Norway, they would be clamoring to build a second “big, fat, beautiful” wall, this time right along our Eastern seaboard.
One thing is incontestable: a mass of Norwegian immigrants (however improbable the thought) would pose a genuine threat to Donald Trump’s America. They would bring to our shores their progressive values, advanced ideas, and illustrious model of social democratic governance -- and this country would never be the same!"
I watched only a part of Maher's Friday night program. Scaramucci was totally obnoxious. He barely let Maher get a word in. Like many in the Trump administration (albeit for only a few days), Scaramucci does not have the faintest idea of what the federal government is all about. He is as big a blowhard as Trump and as noisy and grating.
