Uh oh. |
US counterintelligence officials are scrutinizing one of Ivanka Trump's international business deals, according to two sources familiar with the matter.
The FBI has been looking into the negotiations and financing surrounding Trump International Hotel and Tower in Vancouver, according to a US official and a former US official. The scrutiny could be a hurdle for the first daughter as she tries to obtain a full security clearance in her role as adviser to President Donald Trump.
It's standard procedure to probe foreign contacts and international business deals as part of a background check investigation. But the complexity of the Trump Organization's business deals, which often rely on international financing and buyers, presents a challenge.
The FBI has been looking closely at the international business entanglements of both Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, to determine whether any of those deals could leave them vulnerable to pressure from foreign agents, including China, according to a US official.
Well now considering the fact that Trump has declared that his family's business deals should be off limits from investigators, his over protectiveness when it comes to his daughter, and the fact that he has now lost Hope, this could be the thing that causes Trump to snap and start throwing around accusations and firing people.
Or has that already happened?
Of course if the FBI is investigating these business ties then it is a given that Robert Mueller will have access to anything of concern, and THAT could mean that Ivanka will soon have her turn in the barrel.
Let's see what that does to Donald Trump's barely contained rage monster.
Have you heard that two people are dead after a shooting at Central Michigan University? The gunman is still at large.

Good grief! Not Ivanka! Donny Boy is not having a good week.
I hope Trump, his daughter (Ivanka) and his sons all end up in the slammer. Perfect place for them!
ReplyDeleteIvanka's face looks so different now....more surgeries? Anyone notice that Trump is losing more of his hair (on the top)? I think the stress of the job is getting to him in more ways than one!
I especially want to see the nasty smirk wiped off the face of donald jr. I hope the press is there to video them putting the handcuffs on him and publish his mug shot.

LOL! Piece of shit asswipe is mewling and begging and groveling for money. Good. I hope he rots in hell and those women rip every bit of asset or hidden funds he has, because you KNOW he does. Hope he and his fucked up family end up homeless and starving....then maybe he'll get his head on right. Oh, and by the way, why not ask his GOD for bucks, instead of begging on Facebook like a turd.
DeleteMy resources have been depleted and I have struggled to make ends meet, but I have not lost my faith in our God, who is our true source of strength and will never leave or forsake us.

DeleteMueller needs to pull the paperwork and footage from the 1984 Miss Wasilla pageant. No "beauty queen" should be allowed to butcher a Hagood Hardy song like what happened there that evening, and then ride that evening of terrorism to a 2008 VP ticket, thanks to an aging Senator's tokenism.
ReplyDeleteJustice, Mueller, dear god, please, justice!!
Yes, it is already happening. macMasters is going to be gone sometime this or next month. And if anyone else can FIND a job outside the WH, they will jump ship as soon as they can. Seems quite a few are looking high and low, but nobody wants to hire them - they are looked upon as damaged goods.
ReplyDeleteOr, 9:40, the interviewers are afraid of Humpty Trumpty.
Delete*WE* knew Trump was toxic before he was even elected. They should have thought of that before they volunteered to work for him.
DeleteMy sympathy level for the WH staffers that no one wants to hire is exactly zero.
DeleteI read a different story (forget where, or else I’d put the link here) that said Trump wants Kushner and Ivanka both out. He’s upset & considers hiring them a mistake. But he recently told both of them after the security clearance issues, that he wanted them both to stay on.
ReplyDeleteBut privately, he told General Kelly that he wants to get rid of them & wants Kelly to find a way to get rid of them & make it look like it wasn’t Trump’s decision.
No way to prove this story, so it may be made up. To me, it sounded like it could be true. It’s classic Trump: screw up, lie about it, and have someone else fix it. Then take all credit if it goes well, push blame on everybody if it doesn’t. If Kushner & Ivanka leave the White House soon with a feeble excuse, the story has more credibility.
The thing is: he is a POS that does not DARE to ever fire someone personally. He will ask/has always asked someone else to do the dirty deed for him. (Except during 'the apprentice', when he took delight in getting the notoriety and publicity to do that.)
DeleteOn the apprentice, the producers decided who to fire, however the donald delighted in humiliating and belittling them on tv.

Mueller Is Measuring Jared Kushner For Handcuffs By Investigating Him For Bribery
ReplyDelete“Federal investigators are scrutinizing whether any of Jared Kushner’s business discussions with foreigners during the presidential transition later shaped White House policies in ways designed to either benefit or retaliate against those he spoke with, according to witnesses and other people familiar with the investigation. Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has asked witnesses about Kushner’s efforts to secure financing for his family’s real estate properties, focusing specifically on his discussions during the transition with individuals from Qatar and Turkey, as well as Russia, China and the United Arab Emirates, according to witnesses who have been interviewed as part of the investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign to sway the 2016 election.”
What the feds are investigating is a basic case of influence peddling and bribery. If Kushner took money from foreigners for his businesses and then used his position as a senior White House advisor to influence US government policy, that’s a crime.

Gun sales plunge for Smith & Wesson owner
ReplyDeleteThe company, which owns the famous Smith & Wesson brand, reported a 33% year-over-year decline in quarterly net sales, and profits that sank 65%.
American Outdoor Brands (AOBC) makes and sells a variety of guns, including a popular line of handguns and military-style semiautomatic rifles. These AR-15-style rifles are referred to as assault rifles by gun control advocates, but the industry calls them modern sporting rifles.
Shares plunged 18% in after-hours trading, and are down 26% year-to-date.
Gun sale profits are plunging as the combination of increased public support for gun control, and the lack of a Democratic president to scare people with has led to hard times for the gun industry and their lobby, the NRA.

http://money.cnn.com/2018/03/01/news/companies/american-outdoor-brands-smith-wesson-sales-plunge/index.html
Aside from the name and some superficial cosmetic differences, the AR-15 is essentially a military weapon.
Deletehttps://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/02/28/us/ar-15-rifle-mass-shootings.html
"The main functional difference between the military’s M16 and M4 rifles and a civilian AR-15 is the “burst” mode on many military models, which allow three rounds to be fired with one trigger pull. Some military versions of the rifles have a full automatic feature, which fires until the trigger is released or a magazine is empty of ammunition.
But in actual American combat these technical differences are less significant than they seem. For decades the American military has trained its conventional troops to fire their M4s and M16s in the semiautomatic mode — one bullet per trigger pull — instead of on “burst” or automatic in almost all shooting situations. The weapons are more accurate this way, and thus more lethal.
The National Rifle Association and other pro-gun groups highlight the fully automatic feature in military M4s and M16s. But the American military, after a long experience with fully automatic M16s reaching back to Vietnam, decided by the 1980s to issue M16s, and later M4s, to most conventional troops without the fully automatic function, and to train them to fire in a more controlled fashion.
What all of this means is that the Parkland gunman, in practical terms, had the same rifle firepower as an American grunt using a standard infantry rifle in the standard way."
Perhaps also look into the fact that Trump’s billionaire buddy Carl Icahn dumped $31.3 million in steel-related stock days before the White House announced steep tariffs on steel imports?

"NEW YORK (AP) -- The Securities and Exchange Commission late last year dropped its inquiry into a financial company that a month earlier had given White House adviser Jared Kushner's family real estate firm a $180 million loan.
ReplyDeleteWhile there's no evidence that Kushner or any other Trump administration official had a role in the agency's decision to drop the inquiry into Apollo Global Management, the timing has once again raised potential conflict-of-interest questions about Kushner's family business and his role as an adviser to his father-in-law, President Donald Trump."

ReplyDeletePretty bad when you have to pay your kids to say nice things.
I have no doubt that Ivanka is into dirty dealings. It is a family affair and no one has any morals or ethics.
Neither one of those con artists belonged in the WH in the first place. I guess we would have to look at the kitchen staff to find someone that is not a criminal in the trump white house.

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that only one of this pair needs a security clearance. If Ivanka gets it, she'll show everything to Kushner.
ReplyDeleteI think it's very rare, like never, that someone would get a security clearance if their spouse can't get it.
DeleteHowever, I have no doubt that Trump would give or tell either Ivanka or Jared everything.
