Two former Trump aides are locked in a vicious custody battle over their love child. Because everything is a reality show these days.

Courtesy of TPM:

Now, a year and a half later, Delgado is locked in a bitter custody battle with Miller over their son that began nearly nine months ago: A “no end in sight” series of expensive court proceedings that Delgado thinks is largely fueled by Miller’s desire for retaliation.

“I think the motivation is revenge,” she told TPM by phone on Saturday. “He refuses to speak to me, we haven’t spoken since this came out. … He blames me for not terminating the pregnancy or not keeping it confidential, like how dare I not hide it? His wife obviously has a tremendous deal of resentment toward me and her family has attacked me on social media. This is their way of getting back at me, but it doesn’t make sense to spend this much time and money to do that.”

When word of the affair and pregnancy surfaced in December 2016, Delgado left the Trump orbit and moved to Florida, where she did some non-profit legal work and focused on her pregnancy. Miller, who was on the cusp of moving into the coveted gig of White House communications director when the scandal broke, reportedly stepped away from the role, claiming he needed to focus on his family. (Delgado said she heard Miller did not initially accept the White House’s decision and had to be forced out.)

So we have gone from one of the classiest and dignified presidential administrations in recent history to one that appears to be a cross between Mad Max and the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Years ago when I was teased about using tabloid like reporting to cover the antics of Sarah Palin, my explanation was that I was simply going where the facts led me.

The same is true today, only now we are reporting on an actual president and the
damaged and unethical people that he brought into the campaign and White House with him.

Donald Trump, and his minions, cannot be covered as one might have covered administrations of the past.

They really need to covered as one would cover Hollywood gossip or still active crime scenes.

And if people complain that the press is not treating the president with respect, they need to reply that they are simply going where the facts lead them.

He is expected to address his decision in a closed-door GOP conference meeting Wednesday morning, the sources said."

"Cohen said FBI agents who raided his home and office “were extremely professional, courteous and respectful,” CNN quoted him as saying. Trump denounced the raids on Cohen’s office, hotel and home on Monday in New York as disgraceful."
CNN "FBI agents raided the home and office of Michael Cohen after documents related to the hush agreement Cohen cut with porn star Stormy Daniels but it also included search of documents tied to Cohen's ownership of New York City taxi medallions."

"More than one-fifth of Donald Trump’s US condominiums have been purchased since the 1980s in secretive, all-cash transactions that enable buyers to avoid legal scrutiny by shielding their finances and identities, a BuzzFeed News investigation has found.

Records show that more than 1,300 Trump condominiums were bought not by people but by shell companies, and that the purchases were made without a mortgage, avoiding inquiries from lenders.

Those two characteristics signal that a buyer may be laundering money"

We just need a family posing for nude magazines like we'd have with Palin. Maybe Ivanka and Don Jr will go for it.

So what about the other love triangle: Porter, Hicks,Lewandowski and Porter's wife?

I read a short article that Porter's wife works for Pruitt and Lewandowski leaked stuff to the press about Pruitt to get back at Porter for dating Hope Hicks.

Not surprised that trump only attracts similar people out for revenge and childish behavior.

  8. What has happened in last decade or so is that Dads are asking for and getting joint custody of children. When the time the child spends is 50/50, support payments are greatly diminished as compared to the former more common child sharing arrangements.

As a result, more parents (mostly men) are asking for this arrangement and it has become the new norm, the default arrangement. Whereas it used to be the Mother who got the bulk of time, control of the child and was compensated for it through child support

This has granted the higher income patent tremendous relief from child support but has caused some severe financial crises for the lower income parent. Even in the days where the child support was more, the low income parent more likely to struggle with finances and raising a child. Now it’s worse because they get less money
They often say “follow the money” when there’s trouble. My guess is that Miller is doing this to force Delgado to lower child support amounts in exchange for him to minimize his presence and control in sons life.
It can be argued that as a parent to this child, he should take half the responsibility, give the child half the time with home etc. Thr problem is whether this is the best thing for the child. This equal joint custody things I’ve seen do not work as well as the older admittedly flawed model. There is no good result in these cases where a child has split parents not in same page. The question is what arrangement does least harm

Rebecca, I agree. And the more the man makes, the more likely it is that he will use the courts to punish the woman for leaving him.

I'm friends with a high powered family law attorney and she has seen horrendous behavior in contested custody cases, mostly perpetrated by the high wage earner. Or if they have a personality disorder.

Birdbrain indeed. She didn't leave him, this Republican aka anti-choicer pushed her to abort the pregnancy. He never wanted the kid and the stepmother and her family are hostile and resentful.

the only difference between the Trumps and Palins is Trump inherited enough money to hide their scandals from the public.

That strategy is working so well now that Trump is a public employee...

Yet another "conservative" woman giving birth to a child that will have no father. Sad.
