Mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico slams response by FEMA, and begs for help.

The above comes after Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz responded with this after the acting head of Homeland Security suggested that what was happening in Puerto Rico was a "good news story."

This is actually starting to look very muhc like Bush's completely ineffective response to Katrina, and this could be a defining moment in the Trump presidency.

I swear this is the creepiest message from a pastor begging Millenials to come back to church that you will read all day.

Dear Millennials, 

I know it’s kind of creepy. We want to know where you live, and what classes you take in school (and how much you pay for it). We want to know where you drink coffee; who you date and for how long; what you read, where you spend your money, and what you GIVE your money to; what kind of relationship you have with your parents, how far you wander from home, and how often you go back there. We want to see the depths of your soul, and then we want to take you out for a local craft beer. (You like that, right??) 

And for the love of all that is holy, we want to know why you left us?? Why did you leave the church? Why? Were we not sexy enough for you? Not smart enough? Too needy? Is it something we said? We can be better! Just give us another chance. 

We know. We’re like the bad ex who just can’t quit you. We are the Facebook trolls who want to like everything you like and then tear you apart when we disagree with your politics or your spending habits. We know it. We see it in ourselves. And we are sorry. 

The thing is, we are scared. We are afraid, now that you’ve dumped us, that no one will ever love us again. The generations before you—X and Y—staged pretty massive exoduses (exodi?) on their own. But you…well, we’ve never seen the likes of your kind of leaving. It is epic. It is destructive. It is breaking our hearts.

The author, one  Rev. Erin Wathen who is the Senior Pastor of Saint Andrew Christian Church, then goes on to admit that if the church loses the Millenials that they will have no shot at the children of the Millenials, which kind of makes this incredibly creepy plea even MORE creepy.

She then identifies that the problem is not with the young people, but with the church itself and promises to change.

However I must say, keeping with the whole "ex-lover" theme, that I had a girlfriend make me the same assurances. Not only did she not change, but she got even more clingy and scarier to be around.

I think this is rather amazing, and wonderful news. The idea that churches in this country might really be about to take a major hit when it comes to attendance numbers and monetary support, can only mean good things for the nation going forward.

Sarah Palin celebrated America's Independence Day by quoting song lyrics and hitting people up for cash.

Apparently RAM is so busy toiling over Palin's new upcoming book about how the liberals broke Christmas, she does not have time to write Palin's Facebook posts right now. So Palin has taken to having somebody (Piper?) put text on images for her, and then post them to Facebook.

The image above of her and country singer Lee Greenwood, has "God Bless the USA" emblazoned across the top and these lyrics from his big hit "Proud to be an American" on the bottom:

And I'm proud to be an American, 

where at least I know I'm free. 

And I won't forget the men who died, 

who gave that right to me.

But right below those words is the address for SarahPAC, which, of course, is placed there to essentially ask for donations.

Palin also has ANOTHER picture posted today of her pretending to read the Declaration of Independence taken during her famous road trip to oblivion back in 2011. At the bottom of the photo is, you guessed it, the address for SarahPAC. (BTW that trip was paid for by SarahPAC. What a coincidence that it is now being used to grift MORE money.)

 Palin's Twitter account also has two tweets directing followers to those Sarah PAC pimping images.

So essentially Palin's Independence Day message is "God Bless America" now pay me!

But for what? Palin is NOT an actual politicians facing an upcoming election for which she needs funds. Nor is she a person whose life was impacted by a terrible injustice who is trying to raise money to bring about change through politics like Gabby Giffords.

No instead she is a disgraced politician, and once fired, and now rehired, Fox News pundit so terrible that they will only allow her six minutes of airtime in an attempt to limit the amount of stupid that she vomits into the homes of their viewers.

So by what right does she have to be asking for the hard earned money of the American people? She used to at least pretend she was going to run for national office, but even her MOST ardent admirers don't really believe that anymore. She also seems to have no real agenda besides calling for a return to "time tested truths" and "common sense," both of which are nonsensical terms that mean nothing.

So is the only reason she is asking for money because in the past people gave it to her, and she is now simply conditioned to grift? Is she like that family dog who was once fed from the table and refuses to leave during meals because it might happen again, or something might drop on its own?

If so how pathetic is that?

Now as you know I am only a liberal and therefore not a "rill" American, but it seems to me that it is extremely distasteful to use such an important national holiday to beg for cash that you do not really need.

I mean what kind of person would not find that offensive?

Oh right, what was I thinking?

(You know I think I saw that guy while I was camping out around Wasilla.)
