Supermodels are too dumb to ride the bus.

Battered beauty Tatyana Simanava was resting at a Manhattan hospital yesterday, her catwalk career in doubt after a freak accident sent her on a 40-mph plunge from a luxury bus.

The Russian model became disoriented after leaving the bus' bathroom Tuesday, opening an exit door and tumbling outside onto Brooklyn's Gowanus Expressway, cops said.


"We have been in business for 16 years and there has never been anything like this," said Linda Safir, founder of Hoboken-based bus company On Time Elite.

"I have no idea what happened. You've been on a bus? The exit doors are clearly exit doors."

Yes, but were the exit doors designed to be understood by supermodels? We are not talking just regular folk here. We are talking about people who just stand around looking too skinny and bored all day long.

I think that the bus company should have to improve the warnings so that they can be understood by the vague and vacuous. The signs should be written in large red letters, with simple illustrations and a person standing by to explain it to the moronic.

On the plus side just think of all of the medical supply companies that will be banging down her door to get her to use their bandages and crutches!
