If this is true both Carter and Gore will go down in history as heroes of Democracy.

Democrat grandees Jimmy Carter and Al Gore are being lined-up to deliver the coup de grâce to Hillary Clinton and end her campaign to become president.

Falling poll numbers and a string of high-profile blunders have convinced party elders that she must now bow out of the primary race.

Former president Carter and former vice-president Gore have already held high-level discussions about delivering the message that she must stand down for the good of the Democrats.

"They're in discussions," a source close to Carter told Scotland on Sunday. "Carter has been talking to Gore. They will act, possibly together, or in sequence."

I don't know how valid this story is, the internet is full of false stories, but I certainly hope that somebody is finally going to talk some sense into the Clinton's and convince them to withdrawal for the good of the party, as well as the country.

Update: There is now information that this in fact may be a false story. But keep in mind that in this world of faster then light information sharing, the fact that it is false may be the real falsehood, that was actually put out by the principles who did not want to reveal their hand too early. Besides I heard this was false by watching FOX News, so take a grain of salt and pass the shaker.
