Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has until June 23 to reimburse the state for an estimated $10,000 in costs associated with trips taken by her children, under a deadline imposed in a settlement agreement resolving an ethics complaint against her. Palin was given 120 days to repay the state after the late February agreement filed by a special investigator hired by the Alaska Personnel Board to investigate the complaint, which alleged the governor abused her power by charging the state when her children traveled with her.
The investigator, attorney Timothy Petumenos, has said Palin will repay the state for 10 trips.
Hey look SarahPac and C4P people. Yeah you. Let me talk to you for just a second.
You know there are a LOT of other politicians.
Even quite a few Republican politicians.
At least a couple dozen or so Republican female politicians.
Almost that many Republican female pro-life politicians.
And probably at least one or two Republican female pro-life politicians who occasionally wear bright red fuck me pumps.
Why are you paying the bills for THIS one?
Isn't there a better place for your money to go?
Do you really believe that she deserves it? I mean really?
Well I guess the good news is that they are only making her pay back the state for nine trips instead of the forty or so that she SHOULD be paying the state back for. I guess she pouted and boo-hooed her way out of paying those others.
Which is a damn good thing for you guys because if this one is going to cost her (and you) $10,000 than the whole caboodle would have cost upwards of $45.000 dollars or so, give or take a couple of hundred dollars for room service costs.
And that is lot of money that YOU then cannot spend on cool designer Sarah Palin glasses, or Sarah Palin commemorative plates that say "Drill baby, drill", or whatever prescription drug you take that makes it seem that her speeches make sense.
Look I am just thinking of you here.
I know you have vilified me and called me a "Trig troofer" (whatever the hell THAT means), but I am really a nice guy. I mean it. If you knew me I bet you would even like me.
So listen, Sarah is going to implode here in the pretty near future and I just don't want you to spend all of your hard earned money trying to save her from herself.
Just let her go.
She is a big girl, and she will probably recover (she is NEVER going to recover!), so just click off of whatever Sarah-loving site you are currently spending all of your time on, walk over to your children, give them a hug, and tell them that "Mommy's back".
And just you wait.
Soon there will be another great female Republican candidate that is not as ethically challenged or bat-shit crazy as Sarah Palin and you can start adoring her!
And when you do, just remember that Gryphen cared enough to help set you free. Hey it was the least I could do.
Namaste, my crazy little friends, Namaste.
(Yeah I know I said I was taking the day off from political blogging but you did not really BELIEVE that did you?)
Sometimes I think she's a joke that's never going to go anywhere. Then I visit one of the hundreds of crazy Palinbot sites, or see that she's tied for #2 likeliest Republican in 2012, or remember that crazy little Austrian guy with the mustache, and I panic again. Please find something to stop her. Please. Can't someone get her drunk and then let her drive home so she'll be picked up on a DWI? Videotape her throwing one of her diva fits? SOMETHING!
ReplyDeleteGryphen, it is nice of you to try - but they are like star-crazed Brittany Spears fans. Jr. High school mentality. Also, just because Van Flein went through the list of kid's travel and willy-nilly checked off some trips to pay back well, that does not make it so! The IRS will not look at this "settlement" and accept it, no way. I can respect a worthy opponent, c4pers - a pro-choice republican woman with intelligence (K.B. Hutchinson perhaps?) - but Palin is not worth this blind worship .....oh, who am I kidding, logic and common sense has never worked with you poor saps before.
ReplyDeleteIf you read the (ewww sucky) article in the Syracuse newspaper, then you would realize that there are truly delusional people (I think they call them folk in the Palin camp) who really believe everything she says, think that she is the model of womanhood, motherhood and governor(hood).
ReplyDeleteThey will give and give, place all their hopes and dreams in her lap and then be devastated before becoming bent on revenge if she ever loses any type of election or hits any number of possible icebergs.
They won't believe any evidence to the contrary about their misplaced faith in one not worthy of such devotion. No matter what it is, in their minds they will always remember and talk about what a dirty shame it was the day that iceberg rammed into the Palin express.
Okay, I feel better now. :)
Darn nice of you Gryphen to try and save them, to be so kind and to offer words of sincere advice. (it is sincere is it not?!) But I fear that you plead to a hopeless audience.
I have a question for you though. Is Palin aware of this..uh..iceberg that is heading her way, because she doesn't really act like she has any particular worries.
If you click on the title of this post by Gryphen, it links to the adn story. OMG - the bots do NOT want anyone to know that this is one complaint that did not get dismissed - this is one where Palin has to pay. therefore, someone has posted a very nasty, abusive missive about Andree M. and posted it about a dozen times - the nastiest things I have ever seen on ADN. and all other comments on the thread were "hidden" - this is really making Palin supporters look bad.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, not doing Palin any favors at all. Go to title of this thread, click - it will take you to the ADN article and you will see what I mean.
Guess you forgot. Sarah signed her multi-million dollar book contract. She doesn't need our money and we know that. We are giving our money to her because we want to. Some of you here and else where may be needing money for attorney fees before too long also. Just hope you have friends that will be able to chip in to help you pay for the attorneys.
ReplyDelete"Mommy's back"
ReplyDelete...good one! However, they're too far gone at this stage...no matter if she owned up to her wrong doing, they still would excuse her...with SP, there is always a tie-in, [speaking of strings, she has so man strings/excuses attatched to her].
paco_gal at 7:20: I don't think SP has enough self-awareness to have any particular worries. I think she feels indestructible. She needs help.
ReplyDeletePocket change my friend.
ReplyDeleteAnd there are no worries pacos_gal
The so called iceberg has been handled just like everything else this bunch of pathetic anonymous bloggers, too scared to put their own names behind their words, have thrown at me.
The comments under this ADN story, are telling indeed!
ReplyDeleteWhen Gryphen first talked about "the iceberg" but told us it was not about babygate, I began to wonder about something that has always bugged me.
The TransCanada contract was very fishy to me. Andrew Halcro had excellent articles on this and even had the contract for viewing. The first thing that caught my eye, was that she hired a lobbyist from TransCanada to work for her.
Now, one of the commentors over at ADN under this article, claims the CEO at TC is a Scientologist! They also indicate there is a connection betweem Meg and Scientoloy with a lot of evidence of how Meg controls Sarah.
And the plot thickens...you have to read these comments ASAP before they are gone.
Hurry!
Ginger
Wow! I just read the ADN comments. Sounds like a big TransCanadian Scientology iceberg all right. And Greta's mixed in there with Meg, to boot!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a lawyer; I don't even play one on TV. But it dawns on me that Sarah's PAC or any other so called charitable fund cannot pay her travel expenses, because the travel expenses were incurred before those organizations were organized. They may be able to pay her expenses anytime after they were founded, but I don't think you can put the cart before the horse, to speak legally, IMHO
ReplyDeleteWow, what a good guy you are! Trying to save those poor, unenlightened barbarians. We know they're too stupid to understand what it is wrong with supporting Governor Palin...
ReplyDeleteYou're a funny guy. Right up there with the troll who wrote that Playboy article the other day.
Housegate, dairygate, e-mail gate, troofergate. I can hardly wait-gate!
ReplyDeleteOoh, lookie here...Sarah Palin has her own blogger account. You better watch out, or the real Sarah will sue you for using her name on blogs that don't matter anyway.
ReplyDeleteJuju, please get a life...
I don't think it has anything to do with scientology. For one reason, it isn't illegal to be a scientologist. It's considered a religion, and while some may not like it, anyone has the right to practice it. If we hated all scientologist and they couldn't work, we wouldn't go see films by John Travolta or Tom Cruise. So, no it's not illegal for the head of TC to be a scientologist.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the repayments go, I don't know if funds from SarahPac or the other fund perhaps can be used but I don't see it as something big enough to actually hurt her. If she can't pay it now, I am willing to bet she could get another extension.
So yes, I'm curious as to what it could be that she can't recover from. She lost as VP and that hasn't hurt her.
A veto over ride of the stimulus funds doesn't do it either.
Those comments at ADN are very tasteless and it doesn't shed commenters in a very good light to be brought to that level of hate when trying to make a point. You have to wonder about what dwells within a persons heart to be able to say some of those things.
I don't know you and I like you!
ReplyDeleteJuJu major peelander troll @ 7:41 Phuck off!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how the trolls come and make threats. I hope someone makes a screen shot of it.
What a Idiot Barbarian you are!!!
A watb
Which stands for:
Blog acronym for Whiny Ass Titty-Baby. Primarily refers to right-wingers who routinely bully others but whine vociferously at the mildest criticism directed their way.
Scientology would explain why Trig doesn't appear to be getting the services that are so important for DS children. Of course that could just be because it would interfere with his usefulness as a prop.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeleteMy Huz and I ponder this whole thing quite often. "There aren't ANY OTHER 'deserving' female Repubs out there?!??!!?" Of COURSE there are..and they will trounce Palin if she runs. Right now everyone is all hopped up on the juxtaposition of red f-me pumps and the folksy "you betcha!" crap. Once it's time to get down to business, she'll disappear and hopefully Alaska will tell her not to let the door bang her on the ass on her way out after abandoning us for her own aspirations, also.
juju is a real headcase! Have you seen her posts on various places? Oh boy, get her to a shrink!
ReplyDeleteNo one can sue bloggers for giving their opinion on line. There have already been many test cases of this in court, and google (the owner of blogger) does not have to give up the names or IP addresses of anyone. Check out google terms of service. There have even been Al Quaida blogs that google could not erase.
It is our first amendment right to give our opinion about SCARAH and her kookie nut job followers.
Personally, I think most of them have low IQs. What else would explain their blantent inability to see Sarah for who she really is? Only very lost mentally ill souls grab onto idols (and extreme religion) to fill their sad sorry lives..... Truly we should pitty them, and I would if they were nicer people, but they are mean unhappy people.....Its too bad they did not pick a better idol though. When Scarah crashes and it will be soon.....their little world will eventually collapse and they will feel duped for giving their pennies to someone who was a lie.
TO ANON 7:03, interesting comment about scientology and TRIGS care......That could be the answer..... Does this mean that Sarah and her family along with Meg are now scientologists? Isn't this very against her Christian beliefs? I find that hard to believe.....but?
ReplyDeleteAlso why aren't there photos of Trig anywhere lately? Perhaps he does not have Downs, but maybe he has fetal alcohol syndrome or other developmental disabilities (some, not DS, are associated with incest) if Trig is the baby of Bristol and Levi, the best thing Levi could do for his son is to tell the truth. Otherwise people will make speculations like this and it isn't right for his son. I am sorry to say anything, but Scarah is a monster and I hope our comments will force the truth at some point.
Regarding Trig as a prop: he's going to be a cute, useful prop for only about another year. Then I imagine when he is a less than cute, tantrum throwing toddler, we will never see him again. The "drugged in mommy's arms" trick isn't going to work much longer.
ReplyDeleteShe has already stopped using him as a prop. I wonder why? Has anyone seen him in a photo lately?
ReplyDeleteThe comments under this article...the ones that had to be opened...are gone!
ReplyDeleteJust checked and it says there are 48 comments but only 26 were there as of 3:30p.m., PDT.
The iceberg could be about the contract with TransCanada, but that is just my speculation!
I'd sure like to know why ADN deleted the comments but left the article up.
Ginger
SarahPAC must be just desperate for cash. At their little gig set up beside the IGHL (Independent Group Home Living) fundraiser, it has been reported that they were charging $5,000.00 per picture for a photo taken with the Guv. Hahahahahahaha...
ReplyDeleteInteresting!
ReplyDeleteThe censor-crazy R.A. Mansour from Cee4Pee was on the Eddie Burke Show yesterday and admitted that she actually doesn't know whether Dennis Zaki "misrepresented" himself or - and that she would like to hear his own explanation. But on their website, the Cee4Peers claimed that Dennis Zaki recorded the speech without permission! Is anybody here surprised...?
