You know Samantha Bee's joke about Palin stepping down as parent, could be the kindest thing she could do for her family.

Jon always puts things in a "new" perspective...next time you need to quit that crappy job, you tell your boss "hey, only dead fish go with the flow" or "I'm leaving to 'progress' myself" or "I'm doing a Palin" or "I know when to pass that ball..." And when you file for unemployment, you didn't Quit, now did you??? You can repeat the same little snappy platitudes to them and I'm sure you will get unemployment....yeah right!

Was Palin's choice of time to present her resignation speech based on Stewart being on vacation and therefore he was unable to hit it back to her? Quite possibly as he is one of the few that hits her head on and his show is watched me MANY!!! He was so upset he missed her squawk by 12 hours!

Sure did miss Stewart last week as Palin was the provider of a plethora of material. There will probably not be a night this week that Stewart doesn't do a segment on Palin. What Fun!! Stock up on the popcorn and enjoy the ride!!!

I hope he does have Palin as the focus of his wonderful, wicked wit all this week. God, I love that man!

Does anyone have a bead on why Maddow doesn't address babygate? She would surely know the score -- all of it. Ditto Stewart. I always thought babygate would be the KO punch -- clean, unambiguous, final.

  7. I feel so much better now that everyone is back in town, Jon, Keith, Rachel and Regina! But Gryphen, you held the fort exceptionally well, as you always do! Along with Shannyn, AKM, Celtic Diva and so many others.
