Unfortunately, as of right now (8-31-09, 12:37am EDT) preorder sales ranks have Dr. Dawkins' book at # 457, and the moron's book at # 91. Speaks volumes for the educational level and interests of this country's population. It's time to cry myself to sleep. Nite all.

Is the backwards R supposed to suggest the Russian alphabet? And what's with the black-red-gold of the modern, postwar German flag? ReplyDeleteI did not believe you and went to A FCC needs to go to Aamazon independently, sorry to have doubted you. Could not see his hat insignia but I am pretty sure the uniform is Soviet, an officer.
Time to ask/demand advertisers to pull all ads from Fox and not just Beck's portion? FCC needs to grow some balls, (the other set, 'lost' during cheney/bush reghime .

When he went back to work after surgery he compared his experience to the movie "Saw". He talked about how a doctor told him he was on just about everything they had. Of course, it's always a good idea to make a video of yourself while high on pain meds and post it to you tube. He was suicidal probably due to narcotics causing depression and a low tolerance for pain. He explained that the thing that went wrong with the surgery was that, "It had to do with people treating people the way those people wanted to be treated themselves." He says he could not find any staff that cared about him. In other words he's an addict with a low tolerance for pain and while it takes more pain meds to treat pain in an addict than a person with low tolerance I suspect his disease was triggered big time and he became a complete ass. Take it from a nurse who is addicted to narcotics herself. Now, just think how much fun it would be to take care of him.

Most of us don't see it that way however....and his advertisers will ultimately discover this. Neanderthals who think he is great...well...sorry...but they don't count.

This seems like a good threat to tell you about a trip to the library the other day, where a guy had several books in hand, waiting to check out. I pointed to his Glenn Beck book and started to laugh out loud. He sort of sheepishly looked at it and then put it down in the bin by the check out. He went on to check out his other books. (all science fiction) I was still laughing on the way to the car later on.

ReplyDeleteYou know why though right? Conservative groups will buy up huge chunks of the books to improve the rating, then they give them out for free at events and web sites. Places like Newsmax.com does this with Coulter books all the time.

I'm sure we would all learn how to be an utterly valueless person with no integrity were we to join you in watching Beck and clearly you are right to laugh and call us names because we still have some standards.
