Oh my God that made me laugh.
P.S. If you enjoyed that you might get a kick out of the second part of Dave's monologue which has a number of funny Sarah Palin jokes in it.

Very funny stuff.
ReplyDeleteThose were both hilarious. For some reason, they wouldn't load for me but I went to the CBS site to play them.
ReplyDeleteRemember, Dave was pregnant too.
ReplyDeleteDave's show is just so great! I don't think SP realizes the enemy she made in going after him and her fire dave rally with 15 protesters will be a joke forever. Kudos to Dave for having our President Barack hussein Obama on last week too!
ReplyDeleteRemember when Palin was going to sue Letterman, and only 12 people (in the whole city of NY) showed up to demonstrate? Even Levi said, being a comedian is Letternman's job.
ReplyDeleteGreat Gryphen. Thanks for posting. So when is your interview with her to promote the book scheduled for?
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine once her book is out........ he'll have material for a long time to come. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt also appears no one is booking SP on the lecture circuit. Big surprise.

Sarah Palin is not selling well on the lecture circuit, an industry insider told the New York Post.
"The big lecture buyers in the US are paralyzed with fear about booking her, basically because they think she is a blithering idiot," the source said. "They don't want to tick people off."
No wonder they rushed Sarah's book out so quickly. She is fading fast. The book tour to promote the book will be as funny as the Hong Kong speech.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, in case Sarah and/or her dear fans stop by here to read, I hope that they realize that in addition to Sarah's fans, others will be reading her book too, also. I hope that all of Sarah's stories match the existing record of statements that she made in the past. When you tell the truth, you only have to remember one story.
I will look at the video after this. But first THIS news (FINALLY some validation for what we have been trying to tell 'them' all along, LOL!) :
ReplyDelete"Sarah Palin is not selling well on the lecture circuit, an industry insider told the New York Post.

Book tour? Are you serious? They're just going to set up a cardboard cut out of her with a tape recorder in the back to spew her sputterings just like she tweets.
ReplyDeleteThere is no way in hell they can control who shows up at a public book store and no way they can prevent a person who wants it signed (great for bird cage liner for a blind bird) from asking her a real question.
Can we say deer in the headlights (or would that be moose?)
They'll probably have to send Lynn Vincent out in Palin's place to promote the book, as Palin will "quit" the book tour.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking she won't be promoting her book with Dave? Even with all the Paris Hilton jokes Ms Hilton was smart enough to suckit up and make nice with Dave anytime she was promoting a movie, fragrance , shoes etc etc. As he told McCain time and time again " The road to the White House goes Through Dave"
ReplyDeleteSP made a big mistake when she rattled Letterman. Just ask Grandpa McCain.
ReplyDeleteNYCgirl
OMG, I do love Letterman almost as much as Jon Stewart. Yep, $arah made a big mistake is going after Dave, but then her judgment is legend isn't it? My personal favorite was number eight: buy yourself $100,000 worth of writing outfits! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI won't watch commercials just to see a show clip, too much wasted time
ReplyDeleteHA! that was good gryphen thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeleteWhat I loved the most about this clip was the shout-out to Paul Schaeffer's book. I worked with him briefly 30 years ago or so (I was a mere minion) and he was very nice to me and to everyone else. I will definitely buy his book next week and I know my husband will want to read it, too.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, a grandfatherly Dave's been having sex with his staffers, and I'm guessing they'll turn out to be young enough to be his granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteI guess that might explain his recent obsession with the locker room sex life of Sarah Palin's daughter(s), if in fact he's figured out exactly which one was at the game.
@10:49 - Dave got married in 2009; these allegations are in the past.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention grandmotherly Sarah Palin. Have you read about her affairs in the National Enquirer? Oh, and she WAS married at the time.
Sounds like he was living with his now wife at the time of at least one of the affairs. Fine, it's his business. Maybe his (now) wife was fine with it.
ReplyDeleteI just tend to get a little disgusted with people who cheat on their significant others. I used to enjoy Letterman, but as with many other celebrities, their personal behaviors/actions have turned my stomach and hence my dial.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't think so.
The National Enquirer gets a few things right here and there, but it's not exactly a reliable source. On the other hand, we've got it right from Dave's mouth. If Sarah ever comes out and admits an affair, or if there's any reliable proof provided, that would sour me on her as well.
I'll give the Enquirer some credit, however. Even THEY don't appear to claim knowledge that Trig is not Sarah's baby. That knowledge seems to be solely owned by people who can see through loose fitting clothing, like Superman.
@Gary, you don't have all the facts.
ReplyDeleteTo answer one or your comments: Yeah, it's just you. Are you still watching O'Reilly and Beck? They both have had affairs.
There are 3 signed affividavits about Palin's affair with Brad Hanson. http://www.nationalenquirer.com/celebrity/65481
"Burdett is a former brother-in-law of Hanson’s estranged wife Carolyn's brother, Craig Batton, and still speaks with many family members. “I’ve known about Brad having had an affair for a long time, but it wasn’t until just recently that I learned his affair was with Sarah Palin,” Burdett said. “Sarah was elected mayor of Wasilla, Brad became a city council member in the nearby town of Palmer, and they started an affair.
“Todd found out about the affair and was so mad he broke up their partnership at the snowmobile dealership,” Burdett claimed. "
There's so much more out there on Palin and Hanson's affair. You should google it.
Not only that, but Letterman's ratings are going through the roof. Watch and see on Monday.
If it makes you happy anonymous to believe that Sarah Palin had an affair, that make me happy too. I'm all for people being happy.
ReplyDeleteBut it seems strange to me with all the focus on taking her down in the past year or so, that this story wouldn't have developed further if it were true. It would indeed be a powerful antidote to her popularity with the values crowd especially, and the average crowd in general. Seems to me that there's probably been a lot of other folks investigating this, but likely they found huge problems with the story and concluded it not to be credible. Stuff like Burdett being an ex-con for theft with money problems. ( I guess most thieves have money problems, don't they? )
But like I said, if credible proof was provided above and beyond a tabloid with patchy credibility that pays for stories the juicier the better, I would think that much less of Sarah for it.
Letterman's ratings are really not a direct indicator of much in particular. Someone tuning in does not necessarily mean that they approve or condone his actions and don't think less of him for them as do I. People stretching their necks at a grisly train wreck don't necessarily approve of train wrecks.
Gary, why don't you start your own investigation of Sarah Palin and her affair? Go to Wasilla. Ask around! Please, go prove how it's NOT TRUE. Go ahead! We're waiting!
ReplyDeleteSince you strangely think you can prove something by absence of evidence, go for it!
Now you're just being silly.
ReplyDeleteIt's one thing to observe someone PUBLICLY ADMITTING to multiple affairs with SUBORDINATES half their age, something generally considered at best inappropriate and at worst bordering on harassment in most organizations, which apparently happened while living with one's supposed significant other, thus disrespecting and presumably hurting them --- and (me) merely expressing disapproval ......
---- and ----
going on a fishing expedition trying to dig up dirt on someone's private life in order to use it for profit and/or political destruction purposes.
It's not up to me to determine whether Sarah Palin had an affair or not. It's her business. I wouldn't think of investigating Sarah OR Dave.
I'll give Sarah the benefit of the doubt over a supermarket tabloid. Dave has himself voluntarily removed all doubt.
Don't try to paint me as some kind of hypocrite when all things are FAR from being equal.
