More interviews with Sarah Palin supporters, because stupid NEVER stops being funny.

From watching these interviews it seems as if the ignorant people have found their ignorant leader and decided that they should follow her. How ignorant.

Since Palin has no solutions to ANYTHING all her supporters can do is parrot her empty talking points. It is almost painful to watch. Oh and funny, did I mention funny?

Everytime I try and get some work done, Gryphen has something on his site to lure me back to my blog addiction.

I am so glad, that my school and college teachers taught me critical thinking! Or maybe, its my natural cynicism about taking someone's word about anything. After I watch a movie based on a true story, I research the facts to see how the movie may have veered from the real story.

I feel sorry for the innocent people Sarah and her "team" are plundering, and fleecing..

    The Stupid, it burns...

These people have no clue regarding the complex problems that face this nation. How sad some of them seem to think "intellegence" is an optional characteristic for our leaders.

    Oh Gryphen,

At first it's funny, then it becomes very very sad. I am so sorry that there are people this grossly uninformed.

    They think she's "real"? "Truthful"?

The reason they don't know her policies and cannot cite them is because she doesn't have policies; she just has other peoples' policies she is against.

She won't have enought votes because there aren't going to be enough white people left in the country once all these "foreigners" come swarming in??------I'm sorry but I have to say that is just so blatantly racist. If she were such a sensible and intelligent person, even the foreigners would see how great she was and vote for her. Problem? Even foreigners have brains. (And shhhh....lots of those people from other countries are actually SMARTER than some of the people here, dontcha know)

    Oy vey.

I just e mailed my sister about how happy I am that the Anchorage School District does such a great job of educating my children. My 13 year old is reading (and loving) Animal Farm. My East High daughter writes thoughtful essays every week. These things will keep my children from being the dithering dolts I saw in the interviews. Kudos to the young man doing the interviews... he was awesome! My favorite was the bleached blond older woman holding a teddy bear next to her new SP books. Good lord! Oh .. and the old woman who looked like Palin and appeared to be as smart. Too funny, too sad.

The difference is Obama seeks to improve education while Sarah disparages it.

What's the line from "Animal House" fat, drunk & stupid is no way to get through life. Saw a video somewhere...think it was in PA & many of them appear to be at least 100 pounds overweight. I sure do hope they have good health care because they sure are fat & in need of it. "Socialism" would seem to be a better option than a stroke or heart attack.

It's actually quite sad to see a video like this.

It shows that America is on the decline and will surely be left behind by other nations that emphasize education and knowledge.

  18. I finally got the video to load and I almost wish I hadn't. I am truly distraught that the people in the video exist and are given the right to vote. I don't feel superior to them but I feel very scared. Are they what our once-great country is down to?

And kudos to the fellow asking the questions. He did a marvelous job by not trying to "set them straight".

I am really and truly saddened at that group of Americans.

Wow. Unbelievable. I am sorry to say this, but I think there should be an exam before being allowed to vote if this is the kind of consideration these people put into the qualifications of a chief executive. Being Mayor of Wasilla under a city administrator doesn't count.
It's very telling that these folks can't articulate a single policy position of Palin but instead they say things like "freedom" and "getting back to basics" as the things she can bring to the office of the presidency.
They can't claim that the interviewer was doing gotcha questions b/c he was nothing but respectful.

This letter appeared in the Kansas City this morning and shows how stupid Sarah Palin's followers are these days.

    Palin was robbed

Sarah Palin is convinced that John McCain’s presidential campaign staff, once they realized that he was going down in defeat, acted to ensure that she lost as well.

Otherwise, she is certain, she could have easily beaten Joe Biden and been a great help to President Obama.

Supposedly, Sarah kept a journal from the time that she was a wee little girl living in Alaska. She used these journals in writing, "Going Rogue."

REWIND--REWIND--REWIND back to September 1, 2009. In an Associated Press article published by Juneau Empire, Chuck Heath is quoted as saying that Sarah asked him, "Oh, what happened on June 13, 1978? This is material for her book."

**if she was sitting there with one of her journals in her hand, why would she need to ask this question of Chuck Heath?

**is there anything in her "memoir" that specifically refers to an occurrence on this date?

it is all about BELIEF, when asked by O'Reilly if she thought she was "smart enough, incisive enough, intellectual enough to handle the most powerful job in the world" Miss Sarah replied, "I believe that I am because I have common sense, and I have, I believe, the values that are reflective of so many other American values. And I believe that what Americans are seeking is not the elitism, the kind of a spinelessness that perhaps is made up for that with some kind of elite Ivy League education and a fat resume that's based on anything but hard work and private-sector, free-enterprise principles."

True, I said the same thing. In fact, Philladelphia is full of un/under-educated Obama supporters who would not be able to name one single policy of Obama's. But the difference is that Obama has articulated his policies and his stance on issues, whereas Sarah is devoid of this. She repeats the sound bites and talking points of other politicians or things she has "heard" much like the people who support her.

I once watched a segment of "Jay Walking", with Jay Leno, where he asked an otherwise intelligent looking couple a question, the answer to which I could not believe but fits right in with this subject matter.
    The Q and A were as follow;

    Q) During which war was the transition made from proprller driven to jet driven aircraft.

    A) The Revolutionary War.

This is a perfect example of what it is we have to deal with, in this country, relative to the education gap. The "lowest commonn denominator" will be our ruination.

During the 2008 campaign, when Sarah's interviews revealed just how unqualified she was to hold national office, many Republicans just could not bring themselves to vote for Sarah. Firstly, the vid you post has misrepresented itself right off the bat: They commissioned a national scientic poll -- BS.

12 MULTIPLE CHOICE questions - again - BS. Who's Frank? Who's Pelosi? No multiple choice.

A difference I note is in the video on this site, the interviewer is asking about what policy's of Palin's - the person they worship. All they have are FOX talking points to fill the air.

The vid you lead us to asks who Frank is? Pelosi? Reid? They were not out doing campaign speeches. They were also not in the forefront of the media as at the time of the Presidential campaign.

So you have thrown a vid up comparing apples to oranges.

Also I notice one of the voices asking the questions -- appears to be Zeigler - you know, the own who does a 'a la prejean' all over a picture of Palin each night. He'd love to do the real thing but that's in his dreams.

She was 7+ months pregnant, 23, and her husband took her to a hospital. She was sent home. Her husband took her to another hospital the next evening. She had double pneumonia. She ended up losing the baby, had a heart attack, stroke, septic shock and other things. She was in ICU for 55 days, and died. A beautiful young lady. And there were some in the audience heckling and laughing at the woman as she was trying to tell the story of her daughter-in-law and her grandchild.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who would prefer that all voters would take the time to learn about the issues and then make an informed choice as to what candidate best represents their views. Unfortunately, that is a pipe dream, so each party is going to have "low information voters" who decide who to vote for based on TV commercials, who their friends/relatives like, who is the most attractive, etc...

It's human nature for us to be more generous with the "low information voters" in our own party as neither party could win without their votes.

Yep--my parents stood in line for 5 hours today to get a wristband for her book-signing tomorrow. All I could say was "um, wow."

I'm spending Thanksgiving with these people. It's going to be a long day.

  85. Sorry folks. There's no getting around the fact that Palin doesn't have the market cornered when it comes to ignorant, uninformed knee-jerk supporters.

Therefore, there's really nothing meaningful to be gleaned from watching either video, except to remind us just how many people (on both sides) haven't taken the time to become conversant and fluent regarding their political positions.

I'm 100% positive that many of these female Palin groupies also lined up to see fellow grifter Kate Gosselin when she did her book tour and "Faith"-based beg fests, whining about how poor she was and how hard it was to raise 8 children. She'd work CASH donations out of the sympathetic crowd (in addition to her speaking fee) and sell photographs of herself and the kids at $20 (CASH ONLY) a pop. Then--whammo--she and Jon bought a million dollar McMansion, and at least some of the poor saps who bought into the "woe is me" tale were jolted awake.

    Waiting patiently for the same wake-up call for SP's slathering sheeple . . . waiting . . .

Also too--is it a possibility that some of these attendees were PAID to be there to give the illusion of huge crowds waiting for the Queen?

Gary, you can repeat your false equivalency until your face turns blue. But it's still a logical fallacy.

  89. It's not a "logical fallacy", Anonymous, to simply illustrate that there's a lot of ignorance in both camps. What IS a logical fallacy is to watch this Palin video and conclude to yourself that these are the only detail-challenged folks out there, and your own side is composed only of savvy intellectuals.

Are you really here to tell me that the folks in Ziegler's video would have been able to rattle off specifics about what they like about Obama's foreign policy, or even what it was? Or answer any of the same questions posed in the Palin video with any greater awareness or intelligence?

Of course they couldn't. Because people are just people, and there's no real discernible difference awareness wise between those who happen to adore Palin, and those who happen to be enthralled with Obama.

Of course the real intent of the Ziegler video was not to say that one side was dumber than the other, it was to illustrate the media imbalance in their coverage of the campaign and the candidates. Nobody had the slightest clue about any Obama deficiencies or shady associations, but they knew every supposed sordid detail about Sarah Palin, with 87% in his commissioned Zogby poll erroneously claiming that Palin had said that she could see Russia from her house.

Paid to show up? Come on. I don't think you really believe that. But I'm sure you really want to.
