I love it when he looks incredulously into the camera. Brilliant!

saw it last night and was AMAZED that the attendees had absolutely no sense of the irony (stupidity) of the situation.

    and Michael Steele...what a tool

Hypocrites and liars all. John Oliver just kills me and his looks at the camera and the stupid woman's inability to realize he was mocking her were hilarious.

Oh, the hypocrisy! The ignorance! The sheer arrogance! What if you had been a "poor" delegate and couldn't afford the plane fare and hotel charges?

I guess you wouldn't be quite the Republican they would want, after all.

That microphone cable is so much like a rope.
Just hand it to them, they'll do the rest.

  8. It summed up the GOP's modus operandi so well. The fact that they don't know it makes me fear for my country.

Gryphen: sorry to go off topic here, but just saw an old video clip (CBS) of Chuck Heath interviews over at Palingates. The camera showed a photo on the wall of MISS WASILLA 1984. On the framed photo, it actually read Reigning Miss Wasilla 1984.

I recall your posts about this topic. And, though much of it was discussed, thought that the conclusion that she was 1983, not 84.

    Just wonderering. Thanks.

Looking at Sarah's frantic speaking schedule for February, she is going to be making more than a million dollars in speaking fees. Her presence just increases donations to her PAC. The more money that she amasses, the more powerful she becomes. She will begin to attract more political followers.

Gryphen, we all honor you for your vow of silence. Perhaps you are protecting someone whose tell all is due to come out and you cannot preempt the information. Perhaps people have told you things in confidence, which when revealed, would also reveal their identity.

Please, Gryphen! We're begging you to stop this woman before she collects political backing, more money and more power. When she was first introduced to us in 2008, someone at Daily Kos wrote that Sarah was too stupid to know just how stupid she was. Chris Matthews bemoaned the fact that we just survived eight years of an empty suit, and this one is even dumber. Gryphen, for the good of your country, please start dropping some hints that will drop Sarah in her tracks. We are all waiting for her to shut up and sit down (or is it sit down and shut up? I have to write it on my hand to remember).

All of those silly "rules" are for other people...don't ya know?

Your actions only matter if you aren't one of them.

    Yikes.

    John Oliver is really good!

I love Jon Stewart, all that was so true, Colbert calling her out on the Retard word was hillarious! :) This is off the subject but I sure do hope Military Families are hearing what Scarah is saying about Iran and another war. She is so stupid she also thinks the President declares war, it is the Congress. And that is a great way to reign in spending Sarah!! She is so scary!!

I have nothing to add to the above statements. It is beyond my comprehension how those people did not get the irony. [shaking head in disbelief]

Unfortunately, that is what is representing a good part of the country, and those whining Teabaggers/GOPers do not get it either.

  21. Oh, I have words, daisydem! Visit Hawai'i when you're FROM there? Elitist!

Visit Hawaii for the RNC meeting? Mainstream values!

How those people could say all that with a straight face tells me everything I need to know about today's GOP.
