I just got off of the phone with Shanny and she told me she will have Michael Stinson on at around 11:15 Alaska time.
For those of you just joining us Stinson was the guy who posted that Palin's Tonight Show performance was not exactly the home run we were led to believe that it was.
Anyhow I will post the podcast later this afternoon, but if you want to hear it live just click here and give it a listen. It should be quite informative.
Almost everything Palin touches seems tingued with fraud and fakery of one sort or another.
ReplyDeleteOMG, that is awesome! What a revealing article about Sister Sarah!! Thanks for posting the podcast Gryhpen. We cannot listen live at work because it "drains the server" according to our IT people.
ReplyDeleteI can't listen cause it causes my computer to shut down but I'll be checking in to find out what he had to say.
ReplyDeleteHey, cool Gryphen, nice to hear you on the show! :-)
ReplyDeleteIs this the big badass killer iceberg that will take Sarah down?
ReplyDeleteShe's running circles around your ass.
Rachel Maddow has been playing the theme from Law and Order and the way that dogs react to the boom, boom sound. The dogs howl!
ReplyDeleteNow, we have to suggest that Rachel see what the reaction of the animal world is to the shrill tones of Sarah Palin's voice. And, Sarah wants to be our TV host in an Alaska based reality series. Maybe we should see how bears, wolves and moose react to her screech. Now, that will be a show that won't need any enhancements.
"sitting on their hands" = no applause, not literally sitting on their hands. A lot of the folks in the audience were there to see the Olympic guy, not Palin. They would not clap for her so they added the canned applause.
ReplyDeleteBree said good bye earlier today. I was going to copy some of the pictures on it, but missed. I had she would leave the site up.
ReplyDeleteShe said that she had to concentrate on her job. Someone knocking on her door right now.
What happened to Bree Palin?
ReplyDeleteBREE IS GONE AS IS ALL HER HARD WORK. WHAT'S UP? WILL YOU BE NEXT?
ReplyDeletePLEASE DON'T LET THE BITCH WIN. IT LOOKS LIKE THAT IS HAPPENING.
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay gang calm down.
ReplyDeleteYes Bree took her blog down. She e-mailed me that she was going to yesterday. She wanted me to let you all know that there is NOTHING nefarious about her decision. She just has something important to work on and the blog is proving too much of a distraction.
This has nothing to do with what happened to Audrey, and you should not assume that the forces of darkness have conspired to scare Bree away. I have talked to her on the phone a few times and if she were being threatened I have no doubt she would have let me know as soon as it happened.
But rest assured that I am not going anywhere, and I have every confidence that Palingates is here to stay as well.
We will miss Bree. She was a very talented and dedicated addition to our little group and the internet will weep at this terrible loss. Maybe if we all believe real hard perhaps someday she will return.
Fake applause for total faker.
ReplyDeleteGrandma69
Dang! I was hoping Bree would leave up all those invaluable photo analyses she did.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone else saved some of her collection.
Gryphen - Thanks for the reassurance about Bree! I share your sentiments.
ReplyDeleteBut, but, but -- we need her blog up there. Even if she isn't going to add more information to it, we need all that data available to everyone who Googles Palin's name. Please talk to her again and ask her to put it back up. If she needs to pay for the year, we'll be happy to take up a collection.
ReplyDeleteThe LA Times posted an update they confirmed with Silverspoon she did write the retraction re: Palin at the gifting suite.
ReplyDeleteEonline is not swallowing the polished turd that RAM and van flea have been passing around...

WaPo:
ReplyDeleteA Maryland man who wrote a parody of Sarah Palin's autobiography and who says he and his wife flew to Los Angeles to attend the taping of Palin's appearance on NBC's "The Tonight Show" claims NBC sweetened the audience's laughter during her appearance to drown out the deafening silence, which he says was on occasion only broken by his own derisive guffawing.
Responding to Micheal Stinson's claims on the political Web site Daily Kos, NBC said Friday that "neither the audio nor the laughs were enhanced for Sarah Palin's segments on 'The Tonight Show' " this past Tuesday.
Michael Stinson was the one who said that there was a canned laughtrack added. Of course, I'm not surprised to see that NBC dened it, especially after the Conan/Jay drama over the past month or so. However, it's more than believable they had to do so to cover up the fact that Palin was not appreciated by the audience. I have not met more than a handful of people that like her and even less that think she's qualified for office and yet my friends and acquaintances are a definite mixture of conservative and democratic. I have a family member whose godfather is well-known in the GOP, he has said repeatedly that those in power are not about to let her screw things up anymore than they already are. They are using her now in regards to the Tea Party, remember her admonishing them that they had to pick a party? When she has outlived her usefulness, she will be gone.
ReplyDeleteWhat purpose will this woman have once everyone who expects her to run for President finds out that she has no intention of doing so? The whole media game is about "will she or won't she?" but after that, she's done. What possible interest will she have for people? None at all.
Yes, I totally understand forcibly removing oneself from Palin-Land, but why has Bree actually taken down the blog?
ReplyDeleteIt kind of makes me wonder if someone close to her laid down an ultimatum - "The blog or me." I get it: my family feels that way sometimes, and I'm just a reader of these blogs!
I will really miss Bree. The triumvirate of your blog, Palingates and Bree's (along with the occasional post on the subject by Andrew Sullivan) was the perfect daily combination.
This makes me sad! You're not going anywhere, right, Gryphen?
