Set your TIVO's gang! Tina Fey is to host SNL tomorrow night and she will be doing her impersonation of "you know who".
Tina Fey is not only a talented actress and writer, she is a courageous one as well.
Considering that Palin's pets have sent Fey hate mail and death threats, it is amazing she is willing to reprise her role as Sarah.
I consider Tina Fey to be the real patriot by demonstrating the courage to stand against Palin through her art. I've never heard her berate Sarah in interviews, but she doesn't have to - her art speaks for her.
Nothing undermines a politician like laughter so I am truly looking forward to seeing he performance tomorrow night.

Gryphen, OT- Ever since the story about the two Trigs, I haven't been able to get it out of my mind. If you have any idea how the little ruffle eared one is doing, can you let us know?
I look forward to this but i worry for Tina. Is she going to have to do a labotomy, or take thorazine and meth to portay her? I trust her talent but a normal human can only go so far.
Fey is fun & she may well do Palin better than Palin portrays herself!
I expect to see her in the black biker jacket.
What is so effing weird about Palin is the tea party rags on the GOP, but then Palin is at every GOP event. Clear Palin is trying to be the bridge (from nowhere) that will unite the 2 elements, and because she's so talented this way she may as well run for president. So in her mind does that mean she'd be bringing 2 sides together? The right wing crazies & the even crazier tea party nutters?
would I love to be a writer for a Tina Fey SNL skit! since Sarah's speeches are already a parody of themselves, I'd do more of a backstage scene, "Sarah" peeling off the leather cropped jacket and the Bumpit and switching to the purple velvet granny gear.

ReplyDeleteSuccessful sequels can be counted on one hand. Keep your expectations low so you won't be too disappointed.
