From Fox News:Palin and her daughter Bristol testified during the trial, which lasted just a few days. Bristol Palin said she was distressed to find pictures of her newborn son in the public eye after her mother's e-mail was hacked.
Pictures of BRISTOL'S newborn baby? Well isn't THAT interesting?Now the only picture of a baby that I know of from the Yahoo account is the one posted above. Is this what Bristol is referring to?
There has already been some conjecture that this baby is the ruffled ear baby, but to be honest I cannot be sure from this angle. I will say however that it does not seem to closely resemble the Trig Palin we know and love today. However as a male I am not an expert on babies.
What do you think ladies.
Of course the other option is that the reporter simply got the quote wrong. Fox News getting the quote wrong? I think in the Palin household that would be considered blasphemy.
Update: As many of you noted there WAS another picture with a baby in it. I had some trouble locating it, but here it is.

There was another photo in Palin's Yahoo email account of all five kids with Bristol holding a baby. The girl in the above photo doesn't look like Bristol to me.

I've never trusted Fox to deliver news correctly to begin with, but I did save a screen shot of the article as it currently is. This may be worth getting a copy of the trial transcript later once it's available ... in the event that Bristol actually DID say just that!

Also in the wadhington post article recently about whether Palin committed perjury, there was someone who kept posting. This person was insistent that Palin could NOT have children after Piper. She was very persistent and insistent that we would see this if we saw her real med records. I wonder if the woman knows for a fact Sarah had a hysterectomy
or her tubes tied.I wish we could find this out for sure.

Now that I look a little closer... This baby has too much body tone. My impression of Trig on the campaign was that he had very low tone ie: he was like a rag doll. This child can maintain his head in an upright position without help.

ReplyDeleteOf course she will claim she mis-spoke however, it will be interesting to know if she made this satement directly to a reporter or if it was made under oath while she was on the stand and the reporter quoted her.
I mentioned in my comment that copies of the trial transcript will be request by people to claify this statement.
IF it was made underoath, and neither attorney objected, AND ESPECIALLY IF SARAH WAS IN THE COURTROOM WHEN BRISTOL MADE THE STATEMENT--THO SHE LIKELY WASN'T---and no one questioned it at the time, then Miss Bristol will not look good trying to explain what she said.
The trial transcript SHOULD be available as it IS the kind of material the public has legal access to.
I think the baby looks like RNC Trig but certainly wouldn't bet on it. The photo was shot at close range and is fuzzy.

Why did she offer those details? Why would anyone other than Trig's mom have been the first to take that big step? Why was Trig given solid food so early? He was barely 5 mos old when the email account was breached. Normally developing babies start on solids between 4-6 months. DS babies are usually behind. Heck, Sarah told Barbara Walters that Trig couldn't eat solid food when he was 1-1/2 years. Was there a photo of Trig choking or making a 'yucky' face? Did the jury see the photo?
We want details, Sarah!
SURELY......a testimony given under oath (if, in fact, the Fox News quote is correct) will be the hole that finally sinks her ship. SURELY. Fox News can issue a correction, of course, but a transcript of her testimony will be available soon for anyone to see.

Those two babies pictured aren't the SAME baby at different times -- they're two babies at two different times.

Also, airplane baby's face is not "dished" -- the other baby's face is.
Also, the dome of airplane baby's head, i.e., the distance from his eyes to top-of-head is in proportion to his face -- the other baby's face is proportionately barely half of the vertical chin-to-top-of-head measurement, and dome is proportionately huge.

ReplyDeleteAs for solid food, my sister had a nephew thru marriage that had DS. The mother was young...this baby had a hard time with feeding..something like the way the spoon hit his upper gum/lips. It was a long and patient process getting cereal down him.

m106: I don't think we know yet that Bristol made the statement about "pictures of her baby,"; that is what Fox apparently wrote/said that she said. The newspaper accounting the day after Bristol's testimony said that she said a picture of her feeding Trig his first solid food that she had sent to Sarah and Todd showed up on the internet/tv, whatever, because her mother's yahoo account was hacked. I think we will have to wait to see the the transcript to see if she did slip up and say that or if Fox just got it wrong (which of course would not be the first time Fox made things up). But if she did or even if she didn't say it but we know it to be true that she did indeed have a child in early 2008, before Tripp, the only way Gryphen could say Bristol is not Trig's mother is that there are or have been 3 babies. And the Trig that we identify from the RNC (maybe) and especially from the book tour and the baby(ies) in pictures from Mercedes MySpace, etc. are not the same. And neither Sarah nor Bristol is the mother. There is a part of me that thinks there have definitely been baby switcheroos, but I don't have an explanation. But there is the ear thing, and then for me, there seems to be discrepancies in the size of Trig and differences in the shade and length of his hair that could be just the photography but I don't think so.

Judges rarely ask a witness questions. That is the job of the prosecutor and the defense attorney to exam and then cross examine the witness.
ReplyDeleteAlso, since --apparently--neither the prosecutor nor the defense attorney "objected" to the remark, there would be no reason for the judge to take any action.
Bristol was a witness "for the prosecution." The prosecutor is NOT going to put a spotlight on anything HIS witness says that is "off" somehow. The defense attorney either didn't catch the phrase OR HE FELT IT BETTER FOR HIS CLIENT TO NOT KEEP BRISTOL IN THE SPOTLIGHT ANY LONGER THAN NECESSARY!
Remember, the job of the defense attorney is to represent his client the best he can, NOT to bring down Sarah Palin. Both Palin's play the victim and they were doing it in a Palin friendly part of the country. I suspect Wade Davis 1) wanted them off the stand as quickly as possible 2) did not want to appear to be "attacking" or "blaming" or even "arguing" with the allegded victim, and 3) even if Bristol was admitting (knowingly or mistakenly) that Trig is her son, it is not relevant to the case.
THIS TRIAL IS NOT ABOUT BRISTOL NOR SARAH. IT IS ABOUT KERNELL AND GOOD DEFENSE ATTORNEYS FOCUS ON THEIR CLIENT.
Their client is their ONLY priority.
I trust the defense attorney to utilize any lies by either Palin the best way he can, IF he can, BUT ONLY IF IT HELPS HIS CLIENT TO DO SO.
I am from Memphis, many decades ago, and I understand the south, and southern attorneys that are NOT prejudiced, racist etc. Trust me, Wade Davis is bitting his tongue and would love to go after Palin and given the chance, he will. BUT NOT TO THE DETRIMENT OF HIS CLIENT.
THAT is WHY he is one of the top attorneys in the U.S.

I don't think she was on the stand very long, probably less than an hour. It should cost you about 250 bucks. Contact the court reporter for the judge. You might want to order Palin's testimony, too, while you're at it - that should be fun - that's a lot of lies - uh - words for her to eat later.

Boy, that Fox is some kind of "news" organization. In the article, they misspelled the defendant's surname at every mention, twice as "Kernall," and once as "Kendall." Seems proof-reading isn't much of a priority over there, let alone fact-checking.

Studies have shown that about 25% of kids are not fathered by the man they think is their father, so it does happen and people also grow up not knowing that their sister is their mother, like Jack Nicholson, Eric Clapton and Bobby Darin, to name a few.

If the quote is true, the whole world was just told by Bristol that Trigg was born to Bristol.... you can't get any more blatant than that. If people still don't believe, it makes you wonder how the human brain works. This cover-up has been a real interesting study in sociology. People tend to believe what they're told ('cause most of us were taught not to lie) inspite of any amount of evidence otherwise. SP has pretty much figured this out.

Call it woman's intuition but the baby with the kids on the grass reminds me of baby #2 on the bus tour. Not the one with pronounced Down appearance that she dragged out at 11:45 PM without clothes.

Whoever commented Piper being the "oops" baby, I totally agree. That is very common if a big gap after a first set of kids, unless there is a remarriage (I'm a medical person and hear it all the time). And I agree there is likely something in her medical records about surgical birth control.

What is also odd is that Sarah has said they still have trouble getting Trig to eat solid food. Andrea Mitchell reported this during Sarah's book tour--that Trig was not eating solid food.

ReplyDeleteNo one in Wasilla is paying any attention to this trial or anything else Palin related. I'd say about 97% of the people who live here do not pay attention to any news other than the most cursory of natl news stories.
They have no idea this blog - or others like it - exist. It just isn't anywhere on their radar. This doesn't make them bad - it just makes them typical Americans -- not too concerned (how do you think Sarah got elected here in the first place?).
I'd say if you did a rough poll and asked people on the street out here how many of them were even aware this trial was proceeding - prob 95-99% wouldn't have a clue.
So - one of the underlying and very real problems that allows Sarah to do what she does - is that we are simply a people who don't care to know and don't care that we don't care to know.
Don't you get it? This is the vacuum that allows Sarah to exist at all - willing ignorance. You can all stop hoping someone from Wasilla will ever step forward with the truth.
bristol is just mad because it has been revealed that she was whoring around at an early age and pregnant during her being 17-18 years old.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Anon. 8:42 - Kernell's lawyer and team need to be aware of this. One would think that an accidental mispeak from Bristol on the relationship of her brother-to-son would require that they put her back under oath and redo her testimony. Kernell's defense might be able to actually call for a retrial based on this misinformation. Simply because Bristol forgot what timeline she was in.

ReplyDeleteThe composite picture of the surgical repair IS the same baby. The May 4th photo shows the opening to auditory canal to be outside of the outer ear. It is in front of the part of the ear that would normally be there that is called the tragus. The Aug 29 picture has an arrow pointing to where the repair was done. I also circled an identifying part of the ear in the May 4th photo that is identical to the Aug 29th picture. The link to the website shows this clear and when the switch was done during the RNC.

It made me realize that if someone at Faux News wants to defend Sarah with regard to this quote, a very good way to do it would be to mispell Kernell's name. Why? Because in the future, if someone were to use "the google" to try to look up this information, it is VERY likely that they will use Kernell's name as one of the search terms.
By mispelling Kernell's name, it will be that much harder to for anyone who hears "Bristol Palin testified in that trial that it was HER son who was in the photos from Sarah Palin's cell phone" to be able to locate the quote by searching.
Yes, I AM cynical as to the reasons Faux might be selectively inaccurate. Kind of like how every time a Republican has a new scandal announced, they always make sure to "mistakenly" place a (D-name of state) by their name the first few times they air the news of the scandal...
10:07 AM ~ The number or percent of people that know or care is not what matters. If it is only 3% that is huge. It could only take one person with the right information to make a difference. In many small towns there is often a lot of talk with friends and relatives. Not everyone has all the information or witnessed anything but they may know who does. No one has come forward to say they were with a pregnant Sarah Palin at the doctors office or anything of that nature. That is also odd. Obviously, anyone who knows nothing or doesn't give a hoot are not the Wasilla residents that are being addressed to step up. You are right there is ignorance and a vacuum.

Drugs and sex are a proud part of that lifestyle but they can't talk about that either. I do get it that the Wasilla area is full of Palin type clones. They love the trust money the state gets and they love the Drill Baby Drill, pipelines to no where and all things Palin. They only don't like it if she crosses them. Since the drug problem is not going to be addressed it is doubtful anyone will ever talk about anything. They are like a big family with a mix of either just dumb, in denial or out and out criminals. That is why when people all over the world hear the word Wasilla they instantly think of the worst hill billies. Moonshine, dope and incest, 97% are proud of that, it is not an insult to them.

Dr. Cathy Baldwin Johnston cannot be as ill as Sarah, but she prefers to be silent.
I want to thank, profusely, those who have come forward with what little they know or feel safe reveling. No matter how unrelated to one particular narrative, the information you have is part of the same story. Just it may not be about the same baby.
An adoption is a private process. Like anything legal, it can be used for unethical purposes and Sarah Palin is an unethical person.
However incomplete, the story of Sarah Palin faking a pregnancy and her subsequent exploitation of someone's else baby should be kept up in front of all her endeavors as an illustration of how far she is willing to go in her deranged greed for self-importance and oppressing power.

That was not email security, but crowd control security. The crazy lone nuts love Palin and are not a security matter for her? Her fan likes that she ignores the security man. Trig is with her and doesn't need security either. It was on this book tour that he didn't need to dress for the cold weather either. He is in her presence during this time. Now he is two and has been deserted by Sarah. I don't know which extreme is worse for a child.

A child with FAS doesn't look quite the same as one with Downs' though...and of course, DS was a much more useful diagnosis for Sarah's political purposes. Enter substitute Trig.
The Johnstons, friends and family also know about the Palins and babies. Mercede did call one baby Tripples for a time. It seemed relative to the three babies story but she dropped Tripples and who knows why her silence.
ReplyDeleteFew in Wasilla seem to care about children, not in an adult caring way. They care about cute and possession. The killer atmosphere, like what seeps in the ground, medical waste in the water, a lake with homes and dying fish, the whole strip mall vibe of the area is not something that the large percent of adults or parents want to consider. They just don't care. May they all smoke lots of their killer weed and forget what they are doing to the next generation. I didn't mean to get off on that. And it is not about having a low IQ or not. I know low IQ people who do show love for children. Wasilla is a town that is willing to settle for superficial love and slowly killing their children's world. If I lived with generations of fear I would probably cling to psyche and mood altering meds or smoke and drink in excess. I want well for them all but it is not looking like they will have a bright future.

Mom looks pregnant in only 1 photo at that time, despite the fact many photos, videos, are taken;
*the biggest bullshit amniotic fluid leaking - 12 hour plane ride - bypass of medical facilities in Texas, Seattle, and Anchorage - special needs baby with known hole in heart birthing story of all time;
*pictures of two different babies are identified publically by the Palins as Trig;
*she is noted as being Trig's primary care giver (guess Todd and Sarah can't be bothered)
...is then highly likely to have given birth to a baby in early 2008?
Once this all comes out, Sarah doesn't stand a chance. How could she defend having a daughter give birth, then Sarah et al lying about Trig's parentage, and THEN being so self-centered and detached from the family that her daughter gets pregnant AGAIN, right away? Sarah and Todd could not be worse parents if they tried. To have a daughter get pregnant and give birth, and then just dance away back into their own lives and becoming a national VP candidate smack in the middle of this situation REEKS of negligence and selfishness.
But didn't you once claim to "know" that Trig was NOT Bristol's baby? How does this slip-up, if reported correctly, fit into what your sources have told you?

Well, it doesn't look like Trig to me - a Down's Syndrome baby has a very distinctive look, and the baby in that picture does not have it.

This is my theory:
ReplyDeleteBristol gave birth to Trig sometime between Dec. 07 and Feb. 08. After he was born, he was diagnosed with FAS. It was a big enough problem for Sarah that Bristol was a unmarried teen, but now the FAS...so she came up with the plan of pretending she was pregnant with a DS baby. DS would be so much more socially acceptable than FAS, and think of how it could help her political ambitions! So everything was going smoothly until she was chosen to be McCain's running mate. Maybe Trig didn't look "DS enough." What if someone starting questioning the fact that he looked like he was FAS instead of DS? Who knows what went through Sarah's pea-sized brain. So between the time she was introduced by McCain and the GOP convention, the switch was made. A more suitable DS baby became Trig, and the real Trig was bannished to who knows where. That would explain the change in Trig's ears, from ruffled to normal. Also, the pre-convention Trig's hair is not the same as the hair on the post-convention baby. They are definitely not the same baby.
Soooooo, the 17 year old daughter of the Gov and also too the new VP candidate couldnt get a new cell phone for WEEKS 'cause she lived out in da woods in Wasilla, near the highway and the best western meth bar. So Wasillans, how long would it take you to get a new cell phone for one of your kids if they needed a new one???? 2-3 hours? maybe??? $arah could have sent new a new phone via the Fedex (they do deliver to Wasilla, right)in less than 24 hours. oh the horror!
ReplyDeleteCuriouser -- I think the baby in this photo, and Trig in the photos I linked to all have the exact same hairline -- that sort-of bald spot on the left side -- and the same eyebrows, as well as the same facial expression. I'd bet they're all the same baby.
