Keith Olbermann calls Palin out for recommending an article comparing President Obama to Hitler. And now Sarah has again picked up her Blackberry to deny that she did what she did.
That must have really pissed Palin off because in the middle of that segment she posted the following on her Twitter page:
Lamestream media: I never compared Obama to Hitler. Quit making things up.
Okay well at least we know that she actually wrote THAT! You know I almost feel sorry for her Blackberry, it must take a horrible pounding on some days.

No, Palin didn't compare Obama to Hitler. She only recommended to her tweetaddicts that they read an article by someone who did compare Obama's asking BP to set aside $20 billion to clean up their mess to Hitler.
ReplyDeleteAnd Palin didn't have sex with that woman either.
"Lamestream media: I never compared Obama to Hitler. Quit making things up."
ReplyDeleteof course, if twitter wasn't limited to 240 characters, she could have finished her thought:
"I merely endorsed an article where the author compared obama to hitler."
what a dumb bitch.
has todd cashed his monthly BP check yet?
Bwahahaha! On that she is correct: "SHE" didn't compare him, she simply directed people to an article which DOES compare Obama to Hitler... Scarah's all about being sneaky, dontcha know!
ReplyDeletesarah's fucking pissed off because the 20 billion fund is putting a dent in todd's retirement check.
ReplyDeletejust come out and say it, sarah, anyone with more than half a brain knows that's the deal.
Perfect! She's having a come apart right before her big speech. Thanks KO.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's funny that we know Scarah sits and watches Keith, while stewing in her own juices while that "evil man" calls her out!!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear me, poor lil ol' Sarah. She recommended an article that she either didn't read or didn't understand. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt here - shudder, makes my skin crawl as I do it - but the woman suffers from unlimited stupidity.
ReplyDeleteKeep talking Sarah. You're like a ball player who runs to the opponents' goal to make a basket.
Well, maybe this is the reason Sarah could not remember the Exxon Valdez Supreme Court case when Katy Couric asked what Supreme Court cases she might take issue with. She couldn't admit the payout to oiled Alaskans was too much! And, god forbid Exxon should have to pay up! ALTHOUGH, DIDN'T THE PAILNS RECEIVE EXXON VALDEX OIL MONEY?
ReplyDeletehey gryphen:
ReplyDelete"Sarah Palin’s Approval Rating Crashes to a New Low of 29%"
http://www.politicususa.com/en/palin-rating-crash
Funny how the Republicans spent all those years under the Bush administration gleefully citing "Godwin's Law" every time anyone compared the US drift to the right to the 1930's era in Germany. Now we hear these ridiculous, meritless comparisons all around us, and no one's quoting Godwin's Law anymore. Hypocrites, much?
ReplyDeleteemrysa- 29% is still pretty scary. That's a lot of dumb fools.
ReplyDeleteOK....the whole "lamestream media" label is just tired.....it reminds me of a five-year-old who repeats ad nauseam a newly learned knock-knock joke and expects the same uproarious laughter each time long after the first run of it.
ReplyDelete"Sarah Palin’s Approval Rating Crashes to a New Low of 29%"
ReplyDeleteHow low can she go? Say "good-bye", Buttercup!
She is the queen of projection. Sarah, quit making things up.
ReplyDeleteThey also brought this up on Ed Schultz tonight and the woman representing the right wingers was saying how she was impressed that Palin even read Thomas Sowell. All I could think was, "how stupid can you be?" since I was sure $arah never read the article and was told to use it by one of her flunkies. It looks like that's definitely the case here. $arah, you can't recommend things to others without reading them! Didn't the same thing happen in your book, when you spoke of John Wooden and attributed a quote to him that was not his, even though you said you and Todd both happened to follow his every word?? Hey, $arah, quit making things up and this won't happen.
ReplyDeleteTHE MOM, I couldn't agree more about the "lamestream" label. It just sounds stupid now along with the "hopey-changey" thing and also how she kept writing on her hand for weeks after she got caught. She doesn't know that she looks like an immature little girl and keeps on doing the same thing over and over despite it not working for her.
Love the new poll numbers, couldn't happen to a more deserving person!
That woman is an idiot.
ReplyDeleteFuck off, Sarah Palin, you fucking idiot.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing her get pissed off. it really shows through.
ReplyDeleteisn't she toobusy getting ready to make a speech in Turlock, where the media is allowed, to be paying attention to the lamestream, or is it that she has a desperate need for attention?
ReplyDeleteThere are circumstances when Godwin's law does not apply. Like when you are dealing with someone who is in fact a Nazi. Like Sarah Palin. Fuck Godwin's law when it comes to that bitch.
ReplyDeleteThe latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll revealed that the more the American people see Sarah Palin, the less they like her. Palin’s approval rating has now crashed to 29%, which is down from 37% in March. Palin is also dragging down the GOP’s 2010 candidates, as her endorsement was viewed as a negative by 52% of those surveyed.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the latest NBC News/WSJ poll, Palin’s approval rating has fallen to 29%. Her disapproval rating is 43%, and 24% of those surveyed are neutral on her. Only 13% of those surveyed have a strong approval of her. She is down from her 30% approval rating in March, and her 32% approval rating last December. Palin’s negative rating has gone from 45% in March to 43% now. Most troubling for Palin’s potential political future, only 4% of respondents aren’t sure about her.
Palin is not only personally unpopular, but her endorsement creates a negative stigma around Republican candidates as they head into the general election. Sarah Palin has become the GOP version of Johnny Appleseed, as her endorsements are spreading negativity about Republican congressional candidates all across the land. This is not to say that candidates in Republican primaries aren’t helped by Palin. They are, but the very same Palin endorsement that helps them in the spring could be an anchor around their necks with the electorate at large in November.
ReplyDeleteTo put this into context, since March, when she first got involved with the Tea Party, Palin’s approval rating has fallen by 8 points and her negative rating has increased by 2 points. The more Palin tries to raise her profile, the less popular she becomes. This is not the trend line of future presidential nominee, and especially not a future president.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin is now as popular as fellow Republicans like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. She is the political equivalent of fool’s gold, and Republicans in both 2010 and 2012 would be wise to turn her down. Sarah Palin is capable of leading the Republican Party straight down a path of defeat and irrelevancy. She isn’t even popular enough to help her fellow Republicans outside of primaries, so there is no way that she has the popularity needed to be elected president.

I hang out at some middle of the road blogs. Libs & Repubs arguing intelligently.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin was toast before, but THIS? Maybe she claims she didn't read the article she tweeted, but that's EVEN MORE LAME Sarah! I can relate from my experience that she has blown it with the moderate Republicans, and of course the Independents. Way to go Grifter!!
Seriously Sarah, you've lost em.
This tweet is proof positive she didn't read the article before tweeting - someone told her what she should tweet. It also proves she hasn't yet read it.
ReplyDeleteYa made me laugh, Gryphen. My bet is that she didn't watch KO but read a random accusatory tweet. I can't think of a time when she had the full story before she started stomping her feet and whining.
ReplyDeleteWhat an idiot!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter whether she called the president a Nazi. What does matter is that she obviously agrees with someone who did--namely, Thomas Sowell. I have never liked Sowell, because he has consistently been on the wrong side of history, in keeping with the far right's track record.
ReplyDeleteBecause she has been badmouthing and demonizing the president at every opportunity, why should it be surprising that she agrees with this nonsense? Her unending presence in the media spotlight magnifies her serious character flaws and shortcomings and reminds me of the folly of electing numbskulls. There is no longer any reason for even her most avid supporters to keep defending the indefensible.
Remember, Alvin Greene talked to Olbermann while the Grifter Granny is terrified to do so. She's scared of Maddow, Colbert & Stewart. AND DAVID LETTERMAN.
ReplyDeleteOnly a punk coward uses Twitter to defend herself.
Gryphen you have to post this.
ReplyDeletePalin Drama: Live Mic Left On, Students Call Palin “Dumbest of Dumb”
http://www.politicususa.com/en/palin-live-mic
Palin's record for endorsing winners: 8-3
ReplyDeleteObama's record for endorsing winners: 1-4
Poor Sarah. I'm thinking she hits her blackberry like a frenzied pit viper 'cause she's not getting much attention at home. I hear cold showers and lots of chocolate can help you out in that department.
ReplyDeleteIt's President Obama to you, Palin.
ReplyDeleteStanislaus speech update: here is an article I found in the Turlock Journal, the newspaper closest to Cal State Stanislaus:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.turlockjournal.com/news/article/4607/
7:30 AM here on the East coast, so Gryphen is probably still fast asleep, but I'm sure he'll be starting a new thread when he gets up to cover all the happening at the speech.
For now, read this article and check out the many pictures. I especially loved the pic of the little girl with a sign that said: How's the bendy straw ?
Also, they must not teach math at Stanislaus. In the article, someone boasts that "Sarah Palin brought in $200,000 for you students. God dang it ! Get a clue !!"
ReplyDeleteBut the article goes on to say they sold 350 tickets at $500 each - that's $175,000, and doesn't account for her speaking fee; her other demanded perks (hotel, flight, bendy straws, etc) and all the extra security (lots of it) required.
This speech is going to end up being a huge LOSS for the university.
I am reading a book about "Ike" Eisenhower and civil rights. Came across a sentence that caught my eye, it was Ikes perscription for handling personal attacks:
ReplyDelete"Don't see, don't feel, don't admit, and don't answer; just ignore your attacker and keep smiling."
I am guessing Obama has read his hisotry books and learned from other successful cadidates.
Sarah Palin? Not so much.
2 of u wrote: "lamestream" label. It just sounds stupid now along with the "hopey-changey"........
Yeah, sounds like a 5 year old. That's about Palins intellectual and emotional age.
From another srticle on that site:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.turlockjournal.com/news/article/4609/
"Palin’s appearance generated $450,000 in gross revenues, combining cash and in-kind contributions. The event raised $200,000 in net cash proceeds"
OK, let's see -
$175,000 in ticket sales;
$ 275,000 in 'cash and in-kind contributions' (hard to believe this amount is 63% higher than ticket sales);
So they say they took in $450,000, and netted $200,000 - where's the other $250,000 going ???

Every time I think Sarah has sunk to a new low for "stupidness," she surprises me and sinks even lower!!
ReplyDeleteListen up, Sarah (and we know you're reading this), opening your botoxed lips to spew utter nonsense for the purpose of getting media attention isn't working for you anymore! Either follow the example of the real grownup politicians who study the issues and can discuss them intelligently, or get the hell out of Dodge!
I'm sure you and your precious $12 million will live happily ever after.
In other words, FUCK OFF!!
"One group excoriated her while the tea party contingent along Monte Vista Avenue defended her right to free speech — if you call an estimated $75,000 plus expenses for 34 minutes' worth "free." That's over $2,000 per minute, plus a $500 dinner."

Would love to see a printout of the "other expenses !
I think that 25-29% are brain dead. They were the same hard core that stood and still stand by bush today.
ReplyDeleteAs small as that % is, it is still 1/4 of this country. Can you imagine, the greatest country of the world, and 1/4 of them are really, really not smart and in the case of palinbots, stupid?
I wonder how much her fund will produce now?
10:42, they were reporters, not students.
ReplyDeleteThe heart of anti-Obama sentiment is white supremacy. Sarah Palin gave credibility and normalcy to those latent fires in her campaign speeches. Ultimately Sarah and her fellow teabaggers would like to rid this country of non-white non-fundamentalist Christians.
ReplyDeleteBy continually focusing on Hitler by comparing Obama's economic policies to his, the right wing is attempting to erase Hitler's most significant policy which was the mass murder of 11 million people.
sarah palin is a facist who wants to be our first female Hitler with dictatorial powers so she can control other women's bodies .... Can you say, NAZI!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 9:42 that was wonderful ! Thank you. What will she do now ? Call those Fox40 reporters the "lamestream media" ? Bite the hand that feeds her ?
ReplyDeleteKeith and Rachel are going to run wild with this 'open mic' story.
$78,000 for that ??!?!
Plus, $13,000 in travel expenses for her and Willow ?!?!?
First, WHY did Willow go with her ?
Second, air fare from Alaska to California for 2, and one night in a hotel cost $13,000 ?!?!?!
About the "lamestream" thing. I am on a couple of forums that have political areas. Those women who consistently blather about Mrs. Palin's perfection as a "Christian" woman in politics are the only ones who use that l-word. And, they spell it correctly about 73% of the time. And, they are the ones who will not even click on a link or read a quoted article that rebuts one of her silly quackadoodle statements. And, two of them are making plans to flee the US because Mr. Obama's death panel is probably in the next block already!
ReplyDeleteEesh. So, if that is what is now her base, then more power to her! Keeps them off the streets if nothing else.
Hey Sarah - if you want Olbermann to "stop making things up" then go on his show and tell him face-to-face.
ReplyDeleteYou should - you really should!
Go on his program and use your communication skills to just make a fool out of him!
...please?
PALIN/BACHMANN 2012!!!
Sarah: the more you skewer the "lamestream" media to your eager, noodlehead followers, the more evident your fear of the media eventually exposing your cesspool of lies becomes.
ReplyDeleteI expect no less from people who set up a legal fund for a multimillionaire.
ReplyDeleteAt this point in time, fixing the Swag-Hag's stupidity can't be done.... stop trying....
ReplyDeleteWhy did Willow go with Palin? That's easy.
ReplyDeleteSomeone had to figure out how to turn on the TV in the room.
