Sarah Palin discovers that Bill O'Reilly is just not that into her.
Fianlly! Somebody calls this idiot on her bullshit. Even hiding out at Fox News could not save her forever.
Damn! Now I have to kind of give Bill O'Reilly a little grudging respect. That is going to ruin my whole evening!
I LOVE how she suggests that Obama should have reached out for help from the Dutch because they know how to build DIKES! Does she really think this is a situation that calls for dyke building technology?
By the way 75% of her time as Governor was NOT "taken up by energy issues"! 75% of her time was taken up with her attempting to avoid work while hiding in her room, eating Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supremes, watching television, and scouring the blogs for negative posts about her.
Wow! Look how manic she gets by the end of that interview! She is licking her lips, clenching her jaw, and blinking like a junkie tweaking on speed. I wish the video did not end so abruptly because it looks like Palin was about to lose her mind in just a matter of seconds.
Hey if any of you find a longer version of that interview please send it to me because I really want to see if her head ACTUALLY explodes or just ALMOST explodes.

Of course, she didn't have any idea on how to solve the underwater geyser. Nor does she know about the legal aspects of off shore drilling. ReplyDeleteI didn't think Bill was hard on her. No one in the media in the lower 48 seems to know any independent facts about her time as governor so she can say whatever she wants unchallenged. Why is it continually stated as fact that she's an energy expert? When are people going to stop acting like she's still a governor of a state? Especially when she couldn't even finish a full term? Just asking...
I will say though, even though she's getting the white glove treatment everywhere she goes, she is clearly miserable. Even though Bill was kissing her ass IMO, she was having a fit just because he thought Obama (gasp) actually wanted to stop the spill, imagine that.

ReplyDeleteIf Obama were to talk to foreign countries to seek advice or assistance of ANY kind, she would be all over that in a heartbeat. She'd be screaming about turning to socialist countries for help and letting them get their foot in the door and they'd be taking over our country in no time. She has no answers - just more pounding out the same old tired talking points. This video, more than any other I have seen, proves she has a deep abiding hatred of Obama - a jealousy and resentment eating away at her very soul. She looks and sounds like a complete and utter fool. She's the GOP attack dog, and loving every minute of it.
I don't care about what got cut off as much as I'd like to hear what Bill said before the video started, that made her make that snide remark to him.
My, my---she did get a tad upset. Maybe they chopped it off to avoid showing her trying to claw Bill's eyes out, or maybe she plain cut and run; she looked like she was ready to.

ReplyDelete1) Palin was pissed before the interview even started. BillO has been asking her increasingly harder questions in each interview, and she can never hide her temper. Bill and $arah are not friends. I think $arah thought she would be shielded from relevant questions whenever she was on Fox for eternity. That had been the case before; but in the past few weeks, things have changed. While BillO's questions could have been tougher, I have to say that that was the toughest interview she has had since Couric (IMO, I don't have cable news though).
2) WTF! Gov is the problem .... why isn't gov fixing this .... get the gov out of the way???? How many times did she contradict herself???
3) Did any one notice that Fox posted Palin as "Author of "Going Rogue"' and not "Ex-Gov of Alaska"? WOW! She has been downgraded to a book author. that had to make her rage.
4) Wait, what? What would I do?? Hell, she was shaking when asked that question!

actually, bill o gave it to Dennis Miller, too, over the oil spill as it relates to Obama. you should check it out. I don't have the ability to watch t.v. or vid-clips, so I can't listen to any of it, but I read the transcript of Bill's interview with Dennis, and he didn't let DM blame Obama even for a minute. I was taken by surprise. I'm glad to hear he's not letting Rah-rah get away with it either.

ReplyDeleteIt turns out that this Dutch story is in lots of right-wing sites (also some dutch sites)a few days ago.
They claimed that the Dutch has offered help with their skimmer ships on day 3 and was refused by the administration (according to Dutch embassy guy at Houston. But I do not see any MSM or liberal sited talking about it, so I do not know the whole story.
Another conspiracy floating there is that the deep water drilling ban is to forced the high tech drilling techniques unique to US to Venezuela, therefore a liberal plot to help the communists.
I think Palin was just parroting what's said in those blogs.
Sorry- I don't think Bill O challenged her in any serious way. This is all a phony, scripted way to give her a platform and look as if she was given a tough question. She was allowed to babble unchallenged after he asked her for specifics.

Surely "CEO of the USA" is bigger than THAT???? Worse, wasn't it a CAR WASH biz of the Palins that failed? (aside from the biz Tawd had with his pal until he did $arah). No offense to car wash owners, but, crap, don't they run themselves? She quit her citizen liason job on the O&G board, screwed Wasilla's budget, served most of her governorship in her bedroom eating taco bell crunchwrap tacos or whining about Obama on the campaign trail.... and failed at a car wash biz. Jeez, how is that CEO material? WAKE UP Palinbots!

I hate to diverge from the general opinion, but I thought that Bill treated her well and that it seemed like free air time for her presidential campaign against Obama. And, although she went off the rails in the last couple of minutes, she was more coherent than I expected in the first few minutes.

While I don't care for O'Reilly either, I watched the interview. It was really great to watch Palin being called to account for some of her statements and to see her unraveling. She did her usual ignorant and clueless badmouthing of the president, and as always, she had no solutions of her own.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I expect her brain-dead followers to make up excuses, like accusing O'Reilly of playing gotcha. What do they think would happen if she were to run for president? She would not be able to hide at FOX NOISE, and would have to actually answer policy questions. If this is an example of how she reacts, she might as well forget about running.
It's amazing how these followers label people like me as "Hanoi Jane," "Communist," or a black nationalist for my criticisms of her. I don't even want to imagine their reaction at her being soundly defeated either in the GOP primaries or a general presidential election.
She is the silliest, most juvenile, and smack-talking middle-aged woman I have ever seen in public life. Every time she opens her mouth, she hammers another nail in the coffin of her non-existent credibility and proves her unfitness to be voted even as a dog catcher.
