If the Democrats play politics the way they play baseball the Republicans don't stand a chance!
Of course it should be pointed out that in baseballl there is an umpire to make sure that neither side cheats.
Which places the Republicans at a distinct disadvantage.
Now, if we only had a courageous and investigative media to act as referee, the Republicans would not be able to pull off all the lies they do now as we approach the mid-terms.
We have too few solid media source! Rachel, Keith and even Ed cannot do it all.
I am even - dare I say it because I never thought it possible - Anderson Cooper is proving he has balls enough with his Gulf reports. But this is just a handful of prominent voices.
not to be nitpicky, but aren't baseball referees called umpires? is there an umpire as well as a referee? i wish there was a mediator between dems and repubs. the lack of communication is hurting our nation in ways i hope aren't irreparable.
I actually PLAYED baseball and still got that wrong. Of course the official is called an umpire and not a referee. What kind of idiot would screw that up? Oh yeah, this idiot.
