Oops! I forgot today's Doonesbury. And it is a good one too!
Laprofesora - first of all, they would never read Doonesbury, that 'commie scumbag'. And if nobody has tried to sue the babygaters yet (they can't), they sure as hell aren't going to take on Gary Trudeau's Doonesbury!
But you're right...that would have to assume that they could read.
They read the 'palin-hater' blogs, they would read the comics; that said, as I commented on the last Doonesbury posting: "What, no outcry over this 'desecration of an iconic image?'"
Meanwhile, Rex Butler seems to be on drugs. I hope he doesn't plan to charge Levi for this strange interview with ETOnline.
First he says "we" spoke with "the young lady" before the engagement announcement and then, this: "She specifically told us no and that Levi had nothing to do with her baby. Someone waived a check under her nose and now she has come up with this opposite [scenario]...."
WTF is he trying to say...or do? Did I miss something?
Go get her Trudeau! I hope SP appreciates that an artist is immortalizing her through his work. (Ultra-Snark!)
Also, can you break down Rex Butler's odd comment about the Levi/Lanesia situation? "Opposite scenario"?? Does he mean Lanesia is being paid to do or say something she ordinarily would not?
The NE ran a picture of her pregnant and looking a little disheveled. I can see her accepting money for letting them use her picture. She is not trying to hide her pregnancy.
