Sarah Palin supports Megyn Kelly's racist rant about the fraudulent Black Panther voter intimidation case. Update!

Megyn Kelly has been working this story with the tenacity of a dog worrying a bone.

She had the chairman of the New Black Panther movement, Malik Zulu Shabazz, on her show last Friday to harangue him for the racism that she believes she perceives in the dismissal of this case.  Shabazz responded to her by saying the following:

"We still do not condone the carrying of nightsticks at polling places and we have been consistent on that since Day One," he said. "Any individual member that violates organizational policy cannot be attributed to the organization any more than any individual member of the Catholic Church, one of their acts can be charged to the Vatican."

However Ms. Kelly was not even remotely satisfied with that response and continued to bang away at the story, this time taking out her rage on Kristen Powers from The New York Post.  Here is video of that exchange:

Holy crap!  Kelly completely lost it during that exchange!

Who in their right mind would take her side in this debate after watching that embarrassing spectacle?

Who else but our very own Obama hater supreme, Sarah Palin?

Watch FOX's Megyn Kelly on Black Panther voter intimidation case;she knows the case;she's speaking truth;her revelations leave Left steaming

Well now it looks like Palin is getting cocky enough to start showing her true colors.  I have heard repeatedly that she is a closet racist, but now she is no longer even trying to hide it.  Because after all her base is right there with her. And she has their back as well as evidenced by this tweet earlier in the day:

I'm busy today so notify me asap when NAACP renders verdict: are liberty-loving, equality-respecting patriots racist?Bated breath,waiting...

Update: For those of you who may not know much about this case here is the video which started the controversy and launched an investigation. But the evidence of wrongdoing was too slim for any criminal charges to be brought so the case was dismissed by the BUSH Department of Justice:

Before President Bush left office, the Department of Justice filed a civil complaint asking for an injunction against the New Black Panther Party and some of its members. In his May 14 testimony before the Commission on Civil Rights, Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez explained that the Bush administration's Justice Department "determined that the facts did not constitute a prosecutable violation of the criminal statutes" but did "file a civil action on January 7th, 2009." (To read much more detail about how this whole thing played out just visit Media Matters for the scoop.)

Now the important point about this situation is that while the gentleman outside the polling place made a very STUPID decision to bring a stick, he was NOT there to frighten people away form their opportunity to vote!  In fact he was there to make sure nobody else intimidated people.  He certainly demonstrated poor judgement, but after eight years of George W. Bush he was understandably concerned that somebody would steal the election away from Barack Obama.

So Megyn Kelly's assertion that this guy was trying to frighten voters is absurd, and further demonstrates how SOME people on the RIGHT are making desperate attempts to manufacture cases of racial favoritism demonstrated by Obama to the African American community in order to fan the flames of racism and anger the white voters into turning against him in the next election cycle.

Remember for many people prejudice always runs right below the surface and all it takes is the right trigger for it to come bubbling out for all the world to see.

He is wrong. The Catholic Church as represented by Ratzi in his little palace and his minions is indeed responsible for ALL their clergy. They indoctrinated, taught, accepted and elevated these pederasts; paid their salaries, with room and board and lace underwear; denied and covered up their crimes; coerced and intimidated their victims... all for the sake of the sacred cash flow into Vatican coffers.

    RICO will be their undoing.

A church is nothing but a business, selling insurance for some imaginary afterlife after convincing the sheep that they need this insurance. It is very similar to "protection money".

In any business or organization, the employer is responsible for the criminal actions of his employees, and this includes volunteers or anyone representing the business.

Respondeat Superior has been a tenet of law since 1370 or thereabouts.

  7. This is but the first major salvo into the race war that is soon to come in America, again, for the third or fourth time.

Sarah Palin may as well dye that beehive blond and call herself any Aryan, because that's where we're going folks.

Guess Todd and the three kids that she has with him are out the door as they are half breed Yupik Eskimos and don't fit with her new racist rhetoric (sorry Bristol, Willow and Piper, you're part Native so you just won't do.)

Track is safe and perhaps Trig as we don't know his origins. Could have been two lily whites that begat him, but for sure if it was Levi and Bristol, hell, he's part Mexican AND part Yupik. Doomed not just because he's retarded, but because he's got the "brown genes" in him.

Keep stirring the pot racist right and you might find yourselves living in "white enclaves" fearing for your life because of the shit storm you've stirred up.

Minorities will not take it lying down this time and it will be a civil war for certain if they do not stop this crazy behaviour. Behaviour that should have been corrected 40+ years ago.

She is known as a racist. The AIP is hardly an inclusive bunch. Her tweet is sick and evil. Clearly none of her advisors tell her the truth about anything.

Gryphen, did you see Dave Wiesels poorly written, unresearched tirade about babygate? He has obviously not done any research and is a weasel. Look at Sullivans page.

I also think Sarah is in a manic phase of her sickness. She must be to write such idiotic things. I'm sure she isn't running for president because no one in a minority group would be stupid enough to vote for.

"So Sambo beat the bitch." - Governor Sarah Palin overheard by a waitress to her cronies when Barak Obama won the Democratic Party nod over Hillary Clinton to run for President.

Even if you don't believe this unverified report, you have to look at her MO:

    1. Quitting Hawaii (the first of her five colleges?) because there were too many Asians for her comfort level.

    2. Sticking her tongue out at critics or troublesome constituents when she was Mayor behind her back.

    3. Giggling at radio shock jocks at jokes made at the House Majority Leader's expense (very statesmanlike) even going so far as letting cancer and fat jokes (Wasilla's Lyda Green is overweight and a cancer survivor) abound.

    4. Ignoring Native families at a parade where she marched and handed out campaign materials. She intentionally skipped Natives because she doesn't want to even make small talk with them (unless she's on film.)

    5. Letting Natives in rural villages sit and spin when energy costs were nearly $10 a gallon.

    6. Explaining to a lone black attendee at one of the GOP Presidential rallies that her and Todd live it [racism] every day in Alaska and 'we' have to do something about it. She never 'did' something about it. She fired the only Native employee she had and hired a non-native to be the rural (native) liaison.

    7. Deciding who are Real Americans? Embracing the Tea Party movement because, you know. . .

There are so many more stories. Please feel free to add.

Good news. One guy from Acorn is suing the pimp/prostitute twits. One for recording him and the other because they made a case that he was going along with the smuggling of teens when what he really did is get all the info he could and called the police. People, People don’t fall for it!! This is nothing more than Race Baiting and Fear Mongering at its finest. Rush has been on this racist rant for a couple of weeks now. Megyn Kelly is trying to create a controversy where there isn’t any. Becky wants to hold a rally on the Anniversary of Dr. King’s I Have Dream Speech and now Queen Supremacist is adding her two cents.

They are attempting to paint President Obama and AG Holder as radical racists knowing darn well it was the Bush Administration who dismissed the Black Panther Intimidation case. They are hoping African American communities are angry that eventually some sort of race riot breaks out, all to blame the President. But guess what, we are not focusing on this. Not in the slightest. If you notice, even Shabazz has not taken the bait. I listen to black radio all of the time and they are discussing ideas to empower our community; they are discussing jobs, the economy, relationships, healthy living and our kids. So to Rush, Palin, Megan, and Becky, we are NOT FALLING FOR IT. We have better things to do.

Does Palin have any idea what she's talking about or am I missing something?

Did she really mean to use the words 'racist' and 'bated' right next to each other? The bated breath in this situation is bad enough but it also brings to mind 'race-baiting'?

Just wow! I never bought the rumors that she was a racist before.

Between the tweets and video (I'll never watch Kelly again), I feel ill. The hysteria is completely unwarranted and dangerous.

As a black person myself I'd be more than happy if every black panther would shut up and go away, but it's so hypocritical that all of these conservatives and Fox news are only outraged by racism when it comes from blacks. And I don't know anyone who's a black panther. What power or influence do they have? Are they that scary? In contrast, look at how powerful and influential Rush and Beck are and the racist/race baiting crap that comes out of their mouths on a daily basis without condemnation from conservatives. And for some reason when conservatives are angry, the MSM just loves to help Fox spread their talking points.

What I find really sad, and what has brought me to tears today is now hard Obama tried to be a post racial candidate and president. Remember how after the election everyone was saying it was a sign that the US was moving past our racist history? Now a few years later they've turned this decent man into an angry black radical out to destroy America, white America, for the benefit of blacks and Hispanics. I just don't understand. What has he done that would justify such hatred and fear? And poor Michelle. What's so scary about her? No one would have dared disparage Laura Bush in the same way.

It's so so sad. I am afraid we are about to have a good deal of race-based violence. My husband, who is white and a Republican, disagrees and thinks some people are just letting off steam because they are upset they lost. I see something deeper and darker. Are these people seriously willing to start a race war to get back in power? I think the scary answer is yes.

Wow...Megyn is a total racist bitch who it so full of herself and full of chit. As for the tweet....what can I say. Snark, racist, and completely unprofessional. I agree with Curiouser upthread....every word s/he said. NAACP does not render verdicts. They made a resolution of condemning the Tea Party for condoning racists activity. Wow...if Sarah and her minions can't believe that, then the NAACP should perhaps go after her too.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous10:12 PM

    To frsbdg,
Teabaggers wore guns to more than one town hall last year. If I'm not mistaken, one freak showed up outside a hall where President Obama was appearing. The guy was a parishioner of the AZ preacher who was praying for POTUS' death. Teabaggers can do that of course because "they're just expressing their right to keep & bear arms".

Do not underestimate the hate and stupidity of these freaks. Rachel did a segment tonight on the New Orleans cops who shot then stomped a handicapped black man. Unfathomable hate and viciousness. Those cops did it because they thought they could get away with it. Thank goodness that Holder filed on all six of them today. There are others out there who will do the same if and when they think nobody will ever find out.

Beck, Limbaugh, Palin, all of them are doing their best to incite violence. They won't stop until something bad happens. There's no doubt in my mind.

Sadly, as has been the case lately, all conservatives, even those who you'd expect to be intelligent enough to say something about how poor this "interview" was, will jump to her defense, saying the ELITIST journalist gal deserved it.

No matter WHAT crazy stuff comes out of the mouths of the usual gang of crazies, (Sarah always trying to nudge everyone else out of the way) you can count on every Republican leaning person, to find a way to justify it.

"If there is one thing Sarah Palin has made clear to everyone, it's the fact that the Palins are a team. Every success she has enjoyed is a success for the entire family. Todd Palin's unwavering support of his wife enables her to lead in this nation at a time when we need that leadership.

I remember meeting Todd for the first time in Auburn, NY. I said to him, "I just want to thank you for being so supportive of your wife and for having such quiet strength." I think you all know what I meant, but what I was saying was I appreciated his willingness to allow Sarah to be such an influence and his being secure enough in who he is not to stand in her way.

He responded by saying they were a team and that he does what's necessary to allow her to fulfill her purpose, and she allows him to fulfill his, as well. In other words, one role is no better than the other; they're in it together. That oneness is quite obvious."

Anyone who doesn't see that people like Limbaugh, Palin, and now this Megyn Kelly are racists who incite other racists is in denial.

Part of the ongoing campaign to discredit the Obama presidency has been to paint him as this black radical racist with a wife who is supposed to be equally racist and anti-American.

People like the above try to drum up charges of racism out of relatively insignificant incidents like this one in order to justify their own bigotry. As a black woman, I would be among the first to agree that what the individual Black Panther did showed poor judgment, but he did it on his own.

Every day, people on the far right say and do things that show just how disconnected from reality they are, and this incident takes the cake. It should be obvious to anyone with just one brain cell that Kelly and her ilk are bad news for this country.
