Can you even believe how close John McCain came to occupying the White House?
It absolutely makes my blood run cold just thinking about it.

The graph on border apprehensions only tells part of the story. It's my understanding that the number of border patrol agents has been increasing over the past several years. If the number of attempted crossings remained the same, you would expect more apprehensions because of the increased number of agents. The fact that apprehensions have decreased in spite of the increased enforcement indicates that the number of attempted crossings has plummeted.

John McCain proved back in the Forestall that he is a coward and will do what ever is best for his comfort, even if it means deserting his squadron, and his ship.

Like Sarah he has not moral compass, he is ill informed at best and he is angry, angry, angry, angry.....
It's just like the FACT that McCain has decided to 'HOLD UP' the Obama nominee for Director of Intelligence because he is angry that his requests over the past year for a specific classified intelligence report had been rebuffed.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe what a 'snotty spoiled kid' he is?? If he doesn't get his way [read attention], then he will do something that will GUARANTEE he is noticed! Boy oh boy, DID WE EVER DODGE A BULLET because between him and Scarah Paylin, this country would have gone to hell already.
We have major problems in this country, but even with some disappointments from Obama, at least we have a grownup in charge. Between her being the mean girl and McCain being the 'most immature, spoiled rotten, temper tantrum throwing kid', the bullet we dodged was WORSE THAN A NUCLEAR ATTACK!
When Bush/Cheney/Republican-controlled Congress were in charge they fundamentally changed the landscape of the USA government, i.e. the Patriot Act, torture, et. al. In short, they expanded the power of the Executive Branch, including the VP office.
ReplyDeleteNow that Obama/Biden/Democratic-controlled Congress are in charge the same Republicans are shitting their pants. So far President Obama has shown amazing restraint - and they're worried sick that he'll actually flex his Presidential power - like Bush (Cheney) did. (I, frankly, wish he would and stop trying to reach across the isle to those assholes.)
But can you imagine how it would be under McCain/Palin?
