This is the kind of ad I want our Alaska Democrats to put out.

Alaskans respect confident aggressive candidates.

Remember Ted Stevens?

If Scott McAdams were to aggressively define himself and his outrage at the outside interests trying to steal our election he could make a serious impact.  And the same goes for Ethan and Diane.

  1. Ya, I wish Feingold would do the same.

Fantastic! This is just what every democrat must do: go after the opposition aggressively. Not only are they liars, they are cruel and dangerous people who are unfit to be leaders of our great nation.

Scott McAdams isn't a progressive like Grayson, he's a Blue Dog. Wishing her were a progressive won't make it so.

I love Dems, especially Alaskan ones, but they haven't been strong enough at a time where the most outrageous Republican abuse and corruption and incompetency has grown in the expose of the Corrupt Bastard's Club, Reudich and Renkes, Jim Clark and served with a cherry on top with that hateful and idiotic imbecile Palin and her shadows Parnell and Miller serve themselves on a platter.

Ethan doesn't restore confidence. He runs for anything. Get a job Ethan. Diane, she's a lot more accomplished and attractive than Sarah could ever be, and Alaskan Native to boot with a combat disabled veteran son, but she runs for too many offices with nothing to show for it too. She's a real Frontier Woman. Get an advocacy job with a solid record of accomplishment behind you, then run again. But this is voter fatigue with both these guys running all the time.

Scott, he's being punished for being just a mayor for eight years where once everyone thought it was a solid background for a nobody but pretty nobody from Wasilla who [hood]winked her way into our highest office without proper vetting.

I don't know Scott either, I'm impressed with what I've learned but I'm not putting my trust in him for our needs in Washington, not this time. Maybe next.

I don't vote by party line, nobody tells me what to do, but Lisa Murkowski has earned her spot as our Senator in two elections since her dad appointed her. She's proved herself in ways Sarah, Sean and Joe could never do.

Good luck Dems, even at a time where you should be reaping rewards and offices, the red meat still steals your glory.

  6. Grayson is terrific! I wish the whole Democratic party would follow his example instead of wimping out every chance they get. Mr. Grayson won a traditionally Republican seat in Florida. The Republicans are throwing everything they've got at him and he just keeps on loudly telling the truth. Guess what? He is leading in the polls.

Agree with 9:03 a.m....a blue dog who will water down legislation is basically worthless. The Democratic Party of VA just sent out massive mailers to encourage mail in voting for folks who will be out of town on behalf of my congressman, Gerry Connolly.

    It says:

DON'T LET TEA PARTY REPUBLICANS TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACKWARDS.

And , the best part is, it features a huge picture of the Tundra Tart herself, Sarah Palin, and Glenn Beck! I guess it was taken at one of her Tea Party screeches, and she's got the scads of necklaces, bracelets, and assorted pins on. She really is tacky.

Thanks Mr G.I put this on my facebook page.It got my heart pounding,in a good way.I am sure I will loose some more friends over this.
It is time to be educated on the facts and speak up!
I love Grayson. The first time I heard him speak,I stopped whatever I was doing and listened.I wish Texas would have find somebody that could get us this excited!

I really feel badly for Alaskans at the prospect of having this terrible, callous person as your new senator.

I also appreciate Grayson and the manner in which he handles himself.

And, I support Berkowitz even though he has lost in other runs. He, at least, is coming out w/some good ideas should he be elected.

Parnell simply follows in Sarah's footsteps to include keeping 'her' administation! I assuredly don't want more of that!

And, I suggest folks NOT vote for Murkowski because she lost in the primary and was a visible part of the 'party of no' which horribly stopped progress in our government.

anon9:45am...Many candidates have failed runs before getting elected. It builds their name recognition. Abraham Lincoln is one good example. As anon11:35 stated, Berkowitz has come up with fresh ideas for Alaska. Perhaps Berkowitz and Benson are better suited for the Alaska governor mansion than their prior congressional runs.

This Alaskan woman has donated to FL's Mr. Alan Grayson campaign for quite some time now. So, maybe Gryphen is right. :-)

It would be a much better place.

Man, he should run for president at the next opportunity.

The "American Taliban" language is gaining traction. It needs to be common-use in reference to the rightwing extremists .

the idiots in the social con movement are so stupid they might actually embrace the term ... just like they did with "Teabagger"

Dayyyamn! That's quite an excellent ad. It appeals on both an intellectual and a visceral level.

I'm lucky in having Barbara Lee as Rep. She's shown a quieter courage and steadfastness in her firmness against the illegal wars of occupation, and she works hard for her constituents.

Both kinds of courage are needed in a Congress full of overly-buttered mashed potatoes.
