Christine O'Donnell's only hope is if somebody convinces her to stop talking. No seriously!
You this is the part where I usually make some comical, yet scathing, comments about O'Donnell and poke fun at her personality, her campaign, and the Teabaggers for supporting her. But really what more could I add to this to make her look any worse?
Essentially she is a living, breathing SNL skit.

This is the first time I've ever been curious enough to listen to O'Donnell. . . . .
ReplyDeleteAre you fucking kidding me? This woman sounds like my eleventh grade stoner best friend (but at least she was liberal) who smoked so much pot she had to carry snacks around with her in her purse.

I couldn't handle listening to more than 2.5 minutes. This is embarrassing to listen to and I don't even like her.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else get the feeling that the TeaBaggers are reinventing the wheel politically? How can they have so much $$$$ but get people like Ch O'D and Shady Joe to run? Or is losing big a strategy so that legitimately bright wingnut candidates who lose take Tea as a consolation and get stronger?

ReplyDeleteRand Paul and Sharron Angle and Jan Brewer and even Joe Miller, to some extent, have been smart enough to run away from the press.
They do not have the vanity and ego that Sarah has, and even Christine.
These two women crave popularity. They love to hear people talk about their physical beauty.
They crave celebrity.

But polls show she's gaining on Coons. (www.wgbh.org) And the polls were taken prior to the Gawker story which is likely to stir up some sympathy votes.
ReplyDeleteWTH are people thinking, voting for someone who lacks even basic knowledge? This is a woman who markets herself as having participated in a program which educated her about the Constitution! If she can't/won't learn things she's trying to learn, what makes one thing she'll learn anything ever again?
She sounds like a televangelist after too many martinis.

Why don't these women think about the quality of their voices? We know they don't think about what they are saying, at least they could think about how they are saying it.

How is it an "insult" to call someone gay. It might be a mistake, but an insult? No way.
ReplyDeleteI am a straight middle-aged woman who does not in any way think gays are somehow less than straight people. People are people and it's their character that counts, not their sexual orientation, but then, I do not embrace her form of evangelical Christianity and its hate-filled, misguided philosophy.
This woman doesn't know anything about "the high road" she says she follows. She is lost in the wilderness.
The way she says Castle's people were following her people around, and tracking her reminds me of hearing Fred Phelps of Westboro Baptist Church aka cult ranting on how "homosexuals" were following him around, stealing his bicycle and causing him problems. Egads - this woman is as paranoid as he is, and that is pretty far gone.
