Sarah Palin tells Mark Levin that the wind blew her famous fence down and calls Joe McGinniss a "freak."
The "freak" comment comes before the first minute of the interview and immediately follows Levin referring to the respected author as a "jerk." Palin demonstrates her lack of class and common decency at every turn.
Palin also mentions having a "strong work ethic" which is amazing coming from a woman who quit halfway through her last job.
Her nastiness towards Murkowski is as ugly as anything I have ever heard, and she completely mislabels Lisa Murkowski as "pretty far left" when in fact the real lefties were pissed off at her for being in the pocket of the energy companies. And NO Murkowski does not have the backing of the liberals, or the Democrats, or the union...wait.....did she call them thugs?
Yeah Joe Miller really wants to be left alone by government. Is that why he accepted $7,000 in federal farm subsidies for land in Kansas? And is THAT why he accepted a $77,400 state loan from the Agricultural Revolving Loan Fund to purchase land he never intended to farm in Alaska? I guess Joe Miller wants to be left alone by big government unless he wants some free money from them.
At the 7:55 mark Levin gets Sarah to admit that she and Todd fantasize about "kicking butt" on the people who give them trouble. Todd Palin kicking butt? To steal a phrase from Sarah Palin, "Have you seen Todd?" I don't think there are too many people worried about meeting Todd Palin in a dark alley.
Sarah goes on to hawk her new book. You know the one that features the work of other authors that her publisher cobbled together and had Sarah put her name on so that they could make the most amount of money from the smallest amount of effort? (By the way that should be Palin's signature statement, "The most profit, from the least effort.") She then goes onto brag about how she "pounded how special and unique the American experiment is into her kids heads, and hearts, and their soul," but worries that other parents may not be pushing the idea of American exceptionalism into their children's heads.
In Palin's world that is probably the very definition of bad parenting. Don't bother teaching them about sex, or respecting the property of others, or avoiding substance abuse, just make damn sure they know by God that American is the greatest country on the planet! Everything else will just take care of itself.

Mighty Christian of her to want to hit people because they disagree with her way of thinking. Please can anyone just lock her in the house?!
ReplyDeleteI don't think she talks about how great America is to her kids any more than she teaches them about abstinence, hard work, personal responsibility or ethics but I'm sure she like to think she does. Just as with most kids, they learn from her example more than by what she says. That's how they have become such paragons of virtue as they enter adulthood.
ReplyDeleteAll together now. Let's sing about the Mat-Su Valley:
ReplyDelete"In the valley of the bullies! Ho-ho-ho! Greed Giants!"
I can almost hear this guy's fantasies--maybe even three ways with her and Todd with whom he seems quite taken--rolling through his scant brain cells.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't listen past the part where she says it's an Alaskan thing to be tough. With all due respect, Gryphen, to the Alaskans who have TRULY toughed it out up there, Mrs. Palin couldn't last three days in New York City or Chicago or Philadelphia or Los Angeles. Being able to shoot a gun does not a hero make! Her "freak" remark in reference to a man who has written LOVINGLY of the state she calls home is especially telling...Sarah Palin is sooooooooo afraid of what Joe McGinniss is going to write about her that she may be coming unglued over it. HALLELUJAH! May her fear and envy of others be her undoing.

ReplyDeleteTodd isn't very large and his handshake is, uh, bland. He is fit, though.
ReplyDeleteIf I had my choice of going three rounds in the ring for a charity with Todd or with Dan Fagan, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Dan. But I'd have no problem accepting the charity challenge with Todd either, even though I'm 20 years older.
That being said, I really do resent blanket anti-Valley comments here, at The Mudflats, and at Palingates. My wife and I held a fundraiser for the Berkowitz-Benson campaign last night here in Wasilla, that drew over 60, and raised thousands. And every day the Mat-Su Democrats are out there in Wasilla, Palmer and in between, waving signs for our statewide candidates, and for our progressives running in this Tuesday's election.
She is despicable. Joe McGuinness is a freak? Must be all that book learnin' and authorin' that is so weird, huh? How could ANYONE possibly see her as someone they want representing this country? She is a rude, immature, ignorant, spiteful, lying hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteI didn't listen to this--I don't need to. Life is short. But teaching her children about American exceptionalism? Please, I think that means that she taught them that to consider wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with "at least I'm white" would be a good Christian philosophy to live by. This freak show needs to be sent on its way.
ReplyDeletePalin wants the kids to "OBEY". If she's got that, then no need to pound anything into their little heads about "exceptionalism" because they are already brainwashed to believe whatever Mommie Dearest tells them.
ReplyDeleteAs for the fence falling, perhaps it just means Palin has smarten up and bought the house next door. After building her own monstrosity ten feet from the neighbor, she has zero right to whine about the people who choose to live there.
OT:
ReplyDeleteOn Andrew Halcro's blog post for Oct.4th - all I can say is, Wow.
Never heard the info about Joe's wife before (grift? LOL). If that's true, THAT should be front-and-center in the attack ads.
That is a major strike. Possibly fatal. :)
It's not an easy way of living - what??? Is she no longer living in her house on the lake?
ReplyDelete(I think Sarah must live in a parallel universe.)
And...........go!! Sarah releases her brain-dead Hounds of Hell to eviscerate Joe McGinniss. She can't have the truth all out there in the open and such.
ReplyDeleteSomeday, Sarah's tacit approval of the violence/torment executed by her rabid fans on her behalf is going to bite her back. Karma, baby, karma.
Also too, two years ago she'd never heard the word "exceptionalism." I just love the way she is taught a new phrase and runs all over the planet misusing and misinterpreting it. So comical. Like a four-year old who has just learned a new BIG word. One to practice, and earn a gold-star on the fridge from Mommy and Daddy for pronouncing correctly. I think this word was on one of her pre-election flashcards.
ReplyDeleteShe knows how to stroke these guys egos. With her flirty voice and little girl ways.
ReplyDeleteShe was going to try it on Obama at that dinner where Liberman stopped her.
There is no nicer way to put this.
Sarah Palin is a prick teaser.
Gryphen: Have you got her Super Secret email address:)-
I've heard so much about the Palin's 'work ethics', but frankly, her actions speak louder than words. NONE of the Palin have a work ethic. They just jump on the free ride and take grift all the life out of the gravy train.
ReplyDelete@Phil: LOL!
ReplyDeleteYeah after the footage of him "bullying" that dude in the airport, I wondered about Toad.
How tall is he anyways? Sure, he's taller than Twitler - but she's a shrimp.
I'd like to meet him in a dark alley. Any time. Oh, and he can bring Track along too :)
Rednecks can't fight for s***.
Tood don't like it if you yell "worst govenor ever" at him.
ReplyDeleteWhat is he gonna do? Hit a woman for speaking her mind?
This interview proves the Palins like fanning their supporters to leash out death threats. Anyone who gets hurt from a Palin supporter or from the Palins themselves, well they got this interview on their side to prosecute. Good gawd Sowah is stoooopid.
That interview has to be one of the biggest loads of crap I ever heard in my life.Self serving bullshit of the worst order.I can't believe anyone even pays attention to this freak.I wish ole Retodd would put on his man pants and take a swing at someone and get his hillbilly ass kicked.Sweet justice for all.
ReplyDeleteIf the wind blew down the fence, it was an act of God. Sarah, is God sending you a message?
ReplyDeleteI believe if you check IM archives there was the prediction that the fence was so poorly constructed it wouldn't stand up in a decent wind.
ReplyDeleteTodd the builder guy, what a stud!........ LMAO
So the great house builder could not even build a fence that would stay up.
ReplyDeleteI literally hit the pause button at 59 seconds. I couldn't take it anymore. Honestly.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile I fantasized about slapping that smug smirk off her lying face.
How can anyone take this mean-spirited woman seriously unless their essence has become poisoned in some way?
I have never heard her say a positive thing about anyone or anything that she wasn't in some way directly benefiting from. She does not add to the dialogue in a positive way on any level.
I am not happy with Obama all of the time, but I a gratified to see and hear him speaking kind and wise words to students, veterans, members of the military, and Americans in general.
This is a man who thinks. Palin is an adder that strikes.
Didn't Bristle say her mother never talked with her about s-e-x, but we're to believe she talked with her children about exceptionalism. They probably think that makes them exceptional. LOL
ReplyDeleteSorry, there was no way I could listen to that awful woman for even 15 seconds. If $arah were to be elected president, that would be proof positive that there is no God.
@ Philip Munger -
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for you. My Mom lives in Wasilla and everytime I'm in the valley I hate seeing all the TeaParty stuff everywhere. So when I see you faithful valley progressive's out there I always honk and wave 'cause you lifted my spirits to know that not EVERYONE in the valley are Palinbots!
Does Sarah's version of exceptionalism acknowledge fact tht the US Governmet gave syphilis to Guatemalans and allowing them to spread it?
ReplyDeleteOr how the Gov intentionally did not treat syphilis in Black Americans so the Gov could study how the disease progressed withnot treatment?
Does Sarah consider torture to be exceptionalism, as she sees the meaning of that word? Or slavery, or an incredibly high rate of rape, especially of young girls and boys?
It is easy to have high ideals, it is also easy to not live by them.
Joe McGinness is, and always has been, a gifted writer. Calling him a "freak" is Palin's way to discredit him before he releases his book about her--with truths, I'm sure, she doesn't want anyone to believe. It is obvious from his books/articles that he does thorough research. All Palin does is lie, and labeling McGinness a "freak" is just another lie. The woman makes me sick!
ReplyDeleteInterviews like this one will prevent her from getting the coveted nomination for Prez. Like they want her really! LOL
ReplyDeleteThese people are beyond the pale.
ReplyDeleteI made it through about three minutes. Enough to have two comments.
ReplyDelete"We eat, therefore we hunt."
Does this mean that folks in the North Country put their Taco Bells out in the woods?
"Union thugs" this might explain why Todd left his job. I'll just bet his former shop-steward loved hearing talk like that.
Didn't any of them ask "If America is so exceptional, why does Daddy want to secede?" Or were they taught not to question any of the contradictions that came out of Sarah's mouth? Or is that a stupid question?
ReplyDeleteIf she talks up America to her kids, it's no doubt in regard to how easily Americans can be duped into giving away their money, how easy it is, in the era of reality TV, to make money for being a nobody, and how to step on and over people to claw your way to the top. That's the Palin American way!
ReplyDeleteIf that fence blowing down speaks to Todd's handy man skills, I'd watch out for the shingles on the roof and the railing that he installed in the house.
ReplyDeleteAs for Sarah pounding a message into her kids, I wonder what she taught them about sex, drugs, not quitting, not breaking into houses that don't belong to you, the list goes on.
We will have to wait for the book to come out, and I hope by now it's too late for Sarah to include the most important chapter of all, "Lessons that Trig taught to us." After more than two years living with a disabled child, we should be hearing about his therapy. He should be reading about his grit and determination to do the common everyday things that you and I can do, such as feed ourselves, or drink from a glass without dripping. I can't wait to hear about how he continues to be a Gift from God, and a Blessing for the Palin Family, how he inspires them every day with his pure, simple loving attitude.
Oh, sorry about that, writing the most important chapter for Sarah. Just remember, if it looks like they rushed out an extra chapter and and it sounds like something you read at IM, you heard it from me first.
I can't bring myself to listen to her voice anymore. She really is a disgusting, vile creature.
ReplyDeleteRednecks can't fight for s***
ReplyDelete----
Wow! Have you been to the South? I'd put my money on any rough and tough southern guy over any yankee. You know nothing. It takes grit to live in the sticks.
Ever heard the phrase, "You believe what you wanna believe". That directly applies in everyway with Sarah. People who are staunchly and unapologetically democrat of course are going to demonize her despite the truth. People who want to finally see a woman rise to the level of men of course support her and believe in her. Gryphen knows he cant back up hi claims with actual evidence, therefore he must trust his moles. We'll never find out who they are because people who hide behind anonymity never disclose themselves, because they know they've been lying.
ReplyDeleteAmerican exceptionalism? WTF. Does that mean getting knocked up as a teenager, never going to school and whoring your babies in celebrity magazines for bucks. So wonder America is falling behind the rest of the civilized world that values science and education.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the trolls are getting testy.
ReplyDelete"It takes grit to live in the sticks."
ReplyDeleteThen why do they need Taco Bells in Wasilla?
well can't listen to it. however, I got a good laugh gryphen - did palin really refer to murkowski as "pretty far left?" fucking A, that is hilarious! it's a striking example of how palin really does not know a damn thing! murkowski is left? WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteGood thing no one was out mowing the lawn with props when the non-code girly fence came down!
ReplyDeleteGryphen, this is the most apt writing ever. I can't even add to it. You've nailed the most salient points ever! Bravo.
ReplyDeleteAnd also too, all of the comments too there, here, with the exceptions of troll one and two, who no doubt swallow Sarah's siren song of their being exceptional, the way that incurious know-nothings like the Palins are, and the Heath's too.
LOL, Sarah HAS to remember a special chapter fir the all suffering self sacrificing mother of all beings, Trig. Adopting a socio-political prop baby has come at a price, but can she articulate it, since she's had nothing to do with caring for his special needs?
She's a horrible woman. Horrible.
gryphen @ 7:38 pm sez:
ReplyDelete"Looks like the trolls are getting testy."
yes funny isn't it. defending a freaking loser at all costs. amazing.
really makes you wonder about humans.
If Sarah and Todd could fantasize about each other instead of other people, she wouldn't have to pay him $20 mill to pretend he still loves to kiss her ass.
ReplyDeleteSarah decided to read some of the comments on the blogs here, there and everywhere. I bet she was expecting to see a lotta love ala C4P. What a shock that must have been!
ReplyDeleteSarah, no one defends you anymore. And, yes, the people on your payroll weren´t there. They haven´t been for months.
Their hearts just weren´t into it.
They were a bit weary of always having to convince you people like you.
And why was that? Could it be that not even they like you?
yeah, 7:16 believes what $arah wants him to believe. sad.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sick, sick, sick woman. Can't her family see how mentally ill she is and get her help? Sad really.
ReplyDelete7:16 People who want to finally see a woman rise to the level of men of course support her and believe in her.
ReplyDelete---
Sarah Palin can not rise above the level of intelligent, educated, caring and motivated people of either sex because of her "mental instability".
@Anon 6:49 PM
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO
Let me guess...you're in one of those Civil War "reenactment" groups, eh?
Yanks 1-0
Would you clowns please get over it already? And please delete "Mason-Dixon" from your vocabulary while you're at it.
Chump.
I listened to this interview earlier. It rates right up there with "palling around with terrorists." She is one mean, sick woman. McGinniss a freak? Union thugs? Nasty lying mean girl.
ReplyDelete@Anon 6:49
ReplyDeleteOh. And lest I forget...
Fuck the South
OT. I get the sense that the pendulum is starting to swing back to sanity! The Tea Party may have peaked too soon and let sane people have a voice prior to the elections. It will culminate with The Return to Sanity Rally. In order for a return to sanity, someone, in addition to Stewart, has to be brave enough to fully identify and call out the large pink elephant in the room as Taibbi and Steven Thrasher have done. First,Tea and Crackers, by Matt 'My Hero' Taibbi in Rolling Stone. Next up, The Village Voice provides a great article titled White America Has Lost Its Mind by Steven Thrasher. Even the artwork is eerily similar for both articles. The only difference is that one shows the heads of the puppet masters behind the scenes and the other simply depicts the behinds!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.villagevoice.com/2010-09-29/news/white-america-has-lost-its-mind/
How could ANYONE possibly see her as someone they want representing this country? She is a rude, immature, ignorant, spiteful, lying hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteThey look at her and see themselves, Pat.
Lovely isn't it? Exactly the type of nutjob I want running the country and makin' decisions for me and mine -- NOT

well as a life-long southerner I find that pretty funny. I also agree with the sentiment to a great extent.
Does anyone really believe Sarah ever
ReplyDeleteeven mentioned American exceptionalism
to those kids, or taught them anything? It's all smoke & mirrors.
And work ethic? When did she ever work up a sweat on any job? Levi said-
& I believe him, that she & the
'master fence builder,' fought over the fact that she didn't take care of the kids, & that Bristol did the housework & cooked. The patriot meme
is all a put-on to make $$$.

Joe is a liberal who disliked Palin from the start. Another case of a libbie writing a hit piece on a conservative. Sorta like conservative writing a hit job on Obama
ReplyDeleteJoe McGinness is damned lucky that he had already moved away when the fence came down or poor little helpless mama grizzly would be screaming from every network TV that he was did it so he could look down her tank top, rape her or leer at her girls while demanding the FBI, CIA and National Guard surround her house with the latest weapons and technology. So much for bad azzed, rough and tough Alaskan Sarah P.
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt, that was the most pathetic thing I have listened to an a long time. Billo will love it since he is into phone sex! Now I need to go wash out my ears with soap and try to do a little mental cleansing!
I managed to listen to the whole love fest orgy between the two and hey folks, doesn't The Book state that if you have lust in your heart you have already commited "the nasty"? It was like evesdropping outside a bedroom door, you could almost hear SP's heaving breathing and Levin's THUMP THUMP THUMP!
Nick - How is writing about a non-existent gas pipeline that is, in fact, non-existent a hit piece?
ReplyDeleteanonymous at 4:25PM, I can't agree more with you about "Mrs. Palin couldn't last three days in New York City or Chicago or Philadelphia or Los Angeles."
ReplyDeleteShe wouldn't last 10 minutes here in Appalachia. We were here 400 years before Alaska.
Anyone know when McGinniss' book is due to come out? Please post a reply if you have seen an estimated date.
ReplyDeleteYa, you liberals hate powerful women. They scare you. That´s why you hate our Sarah. Iḿ too stupid to know the most powerful woman in America is Nancy Pelosi. Iḿ too stupid to know the most powerful woman in the world is Hillary Clinton.
ReplyDeleteIḿ too stupid to know that saying Sarah´s just a ¨PRIVATE CITIZEN¨ points out how crazy she really is. Ya, how many ¨private citizens¨ believe the POTUS should call them for advice? Only the crazy ones.
Stupid liberals!
Signed,
Palinbot on the payroll.
(the comment about a conservative writing a hit job on Obama, made me think of this...)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at the list of the latest KINDLE books I can order, and see one with a title something like, "The RAGE of Obama."
...and do a coffee spit take, laughing like crazy.
I picture the Prez hitting his thumb with a hammer, watching it grow into a throbbing beast of pain, and muttering, quietly, "Darn."
I mean, really, can anyone actually get past such a ridiculous TITLE of the book, to READ any of what is no doubt utter crap?
"It takes grit to live in the sticks."
ReplyDeleteOh bull shit. All it takes is a big enough truck to get your crap back from town. I live 20 miles from the nearest stop light so I ought to know, also, to, you betcha.
Can someone tell me the difference between "exceptionalism" and "elitism"? I guess it's ok for a country to be superior to others as long as the people running it aren't exceptional themselves?
ReplyDeleteThis has bugged me for the last couple of years. When was the term elite hijacked to mean "snotty rich kid" rather than the best-of-the-best (e.g. "elite forces")?
All this nasty rhetoric will come back to haunt you Scarah. And, if T-odd does shove the wrong person the next time someone approaches you in an airport, the assault could be considered premeditated now, right???
ReplyDeleteKeep talking honey, keep right on talking, you betcha. You will turn out to be your own worst enemy, your own lamestream media.
I'll admit it - I have Palin fatigue. I didn't even make it halfway through before I shut her off because I didn't feel like going out to the garage to get my chest waders and the BS was already getting way too deep. With the poor construction of the fence, it's a wonder it didn't come down sooner, Joe McGinniss is actually pretty nice, which is more than I can say for her, the liberals and unions are not supporting Lisa (they have their own candidate, thanks) and since when is a woman who has voted with the Republicans 85% of the time a liberal (never mind the fact that Palin herself is no conservative, as her record clearly shows). For anonymous at 7:16, I am a fiscally conservative woman, who loves her country, and who would love to see a qualified woman in the white house, but who will fight hard for the good of my country to keep the obnoxious, uneducated, lying bimbette that is Palin out of it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I could not listen to it either. My ears can only bleed so much before I start to get dizzy. It is interesting to watch the hate in this women ooze from every pore. What happened to her as a child for her to be soooooo full of spite, hate and revenge?
ReplyDeleteI could not, listen to this drivel for the whole length.
ReplyDeleteDoes this Women have any idea how truly ugly, mean, uninformed and stupid, she sounds? (also too) does she have the slightest glimse of how awful, unattrative, and homely she looks in those shorts she wears. The hat, the ugly shirt? She looks more like a street person then a political Leader. (in her mind only)a political leader that has aquired a lot of money. When the GOP was dressing and grooming her she, at least appeared to be, a person with some intelligence. No longer!! Sarah is showing her true self....mean greedy, selfrightous, a two-bit-tin horn from Alaska.
For a Women of such vast wealth, she has no class and no interest in learning. She truly believes she is a paragon of virtue, able to lead, and has the knowledge to infulence the world.
Such a fool, needs only our sympathy.
Well, I got thru a minute of her interview....... that's all I can stands and I can't stands no more!
ReplyDeleteHere along the Gulf coast in TX we understand the power of wind and wooden fences... You'd a think some of Todd's contractor buddies would have mentioned wind to Todd.
Since Sarah is no lady, the free use of the word "freak" is laughable.
What the name of that song...give me land lots of land beneath the starry skies above...don't fence me in..... let me ride thru the open country that I love.....
There is absolutely nothing "exceptional" about Sarah, Todd, and their children except that they are examples of a certain kind of ugly American, the kind that claim to be superior to others, yet are only superior in their ability to be mediocre at best.
ReplyDeleteThere are children and young people all across this country who are working hard to better themselves through education and who are good to others without wanting anything in return. And, as far as parenting goes, there are hundreds of moms and dads in my kids' elementary school, alone, that do a much, much better job than Sarah and Todd teaching their children right from wrong and to have a "good work ethic." And not one of them has to go on radio or television to shout the fact from the rooftops as Sarah does.
The downfall of this clown of a woman cannot come too soon for me.
As usual, Sarah's strategy is to try to discredit her detractors through insults and lies. It shows how emotionally and intellectually immature she is.
ReplyDeleteJoe McG's book will come out no matter what Sarah says and it will not show her in a good light (in other words, it will be honest) and there's nothing Sarah can do about it.
Three cheers for *8:41
ReplyDeleteI was in Colorado a few years back, walking past a park. There was a Civil war re-actment of one of the battles going 0n. As I stood there,a little man came jogging over to the fence, asked me if I knew what was taking place. Said: sure. My Great Great Grandfather was in the battle for Atlanta and with Sherman on his march in the So. Showed him the wedding ring from that time I wear. He turned around and ran back to where he came from. Apparently, could not stand to talk to a real live ancestor, who had family who fought in this war, the South wanted, got and lost....the glorious South, which to this day can not, admit defeat...
So it's LeVIN, not LEvin? LOL. Too jewish sounding for him?
ReplyDeleteIt's a crazy, crazy, nonsensical interview. She's got "thick skin" and "bites her tongue?" Since when?
And they're suggesting Todd should beat up people? Well, so far he's done pretty well up against women schoolteachers, and older guys in airports dropping their wives off,...let's see how well he does against some of those good, old fashioned Italian union members they like to trash so much (i.e. union thugs). I'd like to see a fair fight between Todd and one of our guys someday.
The Palins are not only bullies, but liars and thugs too.
I am so tired of this woman. She's really jumped the shark but we're too busy being annoyed at her to notice.
Oh and btw, it was real obvious that this interview, while it admittedly hit all the Repub talking points and included all the latest phrases to come rolling out of the Rove discredit machine (Union thugs, etc),...was clearly about one thing - Sarah hawking her book. So that was kinda awkward for her, imo anyway. She's becoming shallower by the week.
ReplyDeleteI'd say she is lying about the fence..a person that needs to lie about every little thing in their life ..has mental issues..she is a mental case.
ReplyDeleteIf Levi wins mayor race... does he get a free house on the lake also?
ReplyDeleteIf somebody does investigating.. maybe Sarah will be in jail before Iowa rolls around.
Wasilla isn't the sticks. My mother grew up on a homestead in Palmer when Palmer was barely a town. The Mat-Su is practically a suburb these days.
ReplyDeleteWhat takes grit is to give your kids the benefit of good education, an open mind, solid boundaries, and a good example of you living an ethical, hard-working life. Does that sound like Sarah? No, I don't think so either.
I hope she keeps saying nasty things about Joe McGinniss, it will only help him sell more copies of his book!
ReplyDeleteShe only just discovered the word 'exceptionalism' and how to pronounce it without mushing some other word into it(think refudiate), so she hasn't really had enough time to understand the meaning of it.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, if Palin said "dog shit is delicious," you'd have dozens of Palin-bots putting together dog shit sandwiches and happily chowing down. Because if their Queen says something, no matter how fucking stupid, they must defend it.
ReplyDeleteImmoral Morality readers: This is news. THis is something important. I still do not understand why Gryphen has chosen to ignore it.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/02/one-nation-working-together-progressives-rally_n_748071.html#s149207
I guess Mini-Palin Christine O'Donnell has taught her nothing. If she runs for President, we can run all the clips of her insulting all segments of the voting public. That will gain her A LOT of votes, right? Ha. Ha.
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone has been studying up on American history with phrases like the American Experiment, etc...
ReplyDeleteHere in New England, children are taught American history in grade school. Hopefully Sarah will be able to help Piper with her homework now.
I noticed how Sarah occasionally uses a "gravelly sound" to her voice when she intonates a word. Like when Tony Tiger says, "It's grrrrrr-eat!
ReplyDeleteA psychologist would have a great time analyzing that. At some points, her voice goes into seductive kitten, to prankish girlish, then slows down to 3 year-old soft baby talk.
Anyone else notice this?
My issue with the divorce rumors are:
ReplyDeletethe ideas for the compound began in early 2009. Why would they build another huge house, containing a swanky office (ive seen it, it's pretty sweet), a hanger, and an apartment if they aren't planning on staying together? Nope I really don't buy it. I know Sarah has said theyve considered owning/renting a residence in the lower 48 for travel purposes and her work, but it doesn't explain the massive addition to their Alaskan property. I've only witnessed pure love from them, in person and pictures. You can tell the difference between a staged kiss and real one, also affection. It's real. and that whole family reminds me of my family. Love em to death, despite normal drama and changes.
Anon 2:52, ever hear of dysfunction? It exists within families that express love to one another.
ReplyDeleteGiven the reports of their sometimes volatile relationship, under normal circumstances, they would have divorced. But they're a political family, and political families stay together. There's too much money, power, and shared information. (They each know where the bodies are buried). So I don't expect to see a divorce anytime soon.
There's something wrong with Sarah, imo, outside of relationship issues. I used to live with someone who was bipolar, and I recognize some of the same traits. But I never rag on Sarah about her parenting skills, because it's my guess she loves her kids but is way too unbalanced to sit home and knit. She needs to wander, needs to pursue obsessive goals, - it has a smoothing out effect. Like a shark which will physically drown unless it keeps moving, keeps hunting, Sarah must also be on the move.
She has a little too much pent up rage for her own good, though. We see it in her outbursts, but also in small movements. When I watched the speech at the college, right before she went to the podium she slammed down on her pen. I saw her do the same thing when she was younger, in the video showing one of her sports broadcasts. She held a pen tensely and rapped it down on the table. So, whatever it is, she's had it her whole life.
I just got back from my cabin on Lake Lucille. Half her fence really did blow down in that big windstorm! But didn't we all predict it? I don't think people can really appreciate how hideous that fence is, and how monstrously huge the compound looks until they drive up the driveway of the house that McGinniss rented.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, if I was the owner, I'd be building a viewing platform and renting the place to every tabloid out there, as well as charge tourists $10 to sit on the deck for five minutes. The Palin's have totally devalued their neighbors formerly lovely property! bt
Hmmmm: " She then goes on to brag about how she "pounded how special and unique the American experiment is into her kids heads, and hearts, and their soul," but worries that other parents may not be pushing the idea of American exceptionalism into their children's heads. "
ReplyDeleteI pounded into my daughter's head that she shouldn't act like a slut in heat and get knocked up.
I pounded into my son's head that he damn well better keep his pants zipped and if he didn't, he'd take care of the baby.
I figured they could learn about American exceptionalism on their own.
It worked.
