Sarah Palin opens new "reality" show by overreacting to author Joe McGinniss.

From the Huffington Post:

"Our behavior has certainly changed this summer because of this new neighbor," she says at the show's onset. "I think it is an intrusion, an invasion of our privacy and I don't like it." Palin later adds, "It's just none of his flippin' business."

So That is the very first part, of the very first episode, of "Sarah Palin's Complete Misrepresentation of Alaska."

THAT is how she wants herself introduced into the living rooms of Americans on November 14.  As a woman who is so petty and thin skinned that she is terrified that her neighbor might look over and see what she is reading, and then encourages her husband/cabana boy to drill a hole in the fence that HE BUILT to see what Mr. McGinnis was up to.

So really WHO is invading WHOSE privacy?

First Sarah sends the extremely patriotic (And not just a dumb kid who had to join the military to avoid jail), Track Palin out to sneakily take Joe's picture, and then, that not being enough. she also has her television crew invade his privacy again so that she can smear his name further on national television two months after he has moved away!

As some of you already know I met Mr. McGinniss last year and of course I talked to him again while he was here this summer.  I also talked to numerous people that visited him at his house while he was in Wasilla.

The first thing to know is that Joe did not invite too many people over to the house.  He was very concerned with protecting the Palin family's privacy, and refused to allow anybody to take a picture of their property from his side of the fence.

What is more, he turned down more than a few offers from the paparazzi to use his house to get a closer look at the Palin property, and you just KNOW that they would pay a pretty penny for that kind of access.

Can you imagine Sister Sarah turning down money if somebody offered to pay to allow them photograph Joe from HER side of that atrocious fence?  No I don't think so!

As for Todd's assertion that Joe's book was going to be a "hit piece."  I don't know exactly what kind of book Joe is going to write, but I do know that he had no preconceptions when he started the process.  So if indeed the book turns out to be less than favorable, perhaps Sarah should look to her OWN overreactions and the incredibly vicious response from her supporters that followed.

All Joe McGinniss can do is write down what he learned from the people who know the Palins, and what he experienced himself during his stay in Wasilla. 

To state the obvious, if the Palins had been different people, then this would be a different book.  If they don't like the final product then they really only have themselves to blame.
