From Wonkette:
Lindsey Graham, South Carolina’s favorite lifelong bachelor and former military prosecutor, is always reliably against homosexuals having any basic human rights in America because Lindsey’s a Republican, y’all. Anyway, famous outer-of-self-hating-queers Mike Rogers says he’s got pictures of one of Lindsey’s boy toys leaving Lindsey’s house. This would be SHOCKING because come on, everybody knows Republicans cannot be gay because Jesus did not make gays.
Mike Rogers says on his Twitter:
I wonder if Lindsey Graham knows I have pictures of a man who spent the night at his house. pls RT

Just reached lawyer at home. Meeting set for Tues. on releasing pix of man who spent night at Lindsey Graham’s.
– 11:05 AM Dec 18th
Now as a rule I ma totally AGAINST outing homosexuals who are not ready to embrace their lifestyles in public, but for Senator Graham I will make an exception.
He has made a career out of denying people the right to live and love as they want, simply to continue to attracting the votes from his homophobic southern supporters. He is the worst kind of hypocrite, and I can't help but hope that there is a special place in hell for somebody who does what he has done to the gay community.
And for the voters who hate gays who keep voting for him in spite of the fact that he (and McConnell) are the gayest "straight" fellas in the history of the universe.

Sad to say, that very duplicitousness is one of the main things that drove me back to the north, where it's more likely if someone doesn't like/approve of what I do, they'll have the guts to say so to me, not sneak around my back and then try to look innocent. I actually never had it happen to me but I've seen it so often and sometimes it was enough to ruin someone's life for a mere 20 years or so....they didn't give a rip. And after the fact they bitch about it for 30 years, I kid you not.
ReplyDeleteSo let the good ol' southern boy cry. Not gonna hurt my feelings one iota.
Mike Rogers only outs politicians who vote hypocritically and I'm all for holding Graham accountable, especially after his 'No' vote on DADT. But why is it taking so long? I hope the attorney gave the 'go-ahead'.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of 'outing', the National Enquirer finally has the Bristol/Gino/baby story online. Has any one seen the print edition which has more info?
Let us remember Sarah's statement in the latest SPA episode validating that NE reports on her kids' mistakes.
http://www.nationalenquirer.com/bristol_palin_new_gino_lover_pregnant_baby_secret/celebrity/69883
Nope - I don't have any problem with incredibly vocal hypocrites being outed about their lies (esp. if they hurt other people - I mean really? You're Christian??). Asshole. Ahem.
ReplyDeleteThere was an entire movie about outing these hypocrites. They ONLY outed those who politicians who were very outspoken against gay rights issues. Crist was one of worst! They also talked about Ed Koch which surprised me. This particular movie is at Netflix- it's very interesting. And yes L Graham is a piece of work.
ReplyDeleteHere is the link to the movie Outrage:

Ps sorry about AKbones..I remember his posts
It's very different to out a hateful, hypocritical, closet anti-gay-gay than to out an innocent person who has decent reasons for not wanting to be oute-- Reasons that don't just boil down to getting the Southern white thrash hate vote. The more of these guys outed the better. They are assholes.
ReplyDeleteGryphen... if your daughter has not called you out on using "lifestyles" when referring to orientation, I shall!
ReplyDeleteI have "adopted" a number of young friends whose lifestyles differ from each other, but whose orientation is the same. They know the Old One will always be their understanding motherly friend, though some of their biological mothers cannot/will not accept their offspring.
That said, I hope Graham and other cowards will be outed, for it takes great courage to overcome the fear of abandonment to "come out" and accept the pain of prejudice and the joy of acceptance which can come from unexpected sources.
History has taught those of us who care to investigate:
Those who have the most to fear from discovery are the worst persecutors.
Let the doors swing wide...

Oh My! Maybe it's John McCain late night visits with Graham. No wonder the old man is so grumpy lately, he's about to be outed.
ReplyDeleteI truly hope so..what a hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteI love it when White-Republican-Gay-Hater Men go down.
ReplyDelete@5:05 pm,
ReplyDeleteDid Mike Rogers mean he was meeting with his own lawyer or with Graham's laywer?
OT to Gryph:
ReplyDeleteHowcum every time I post the link to an article on IM or Mudflats on the ADN, I get disenfranchised?
My privilege to post gets eliminated over there. It's happened three times in the last two days.
Is ADN in bed with Van Flein?
He will probably be relieved when this happens.
ReplyDeleteLindsey Graham gay? I suppose next you are going to tell me he is a republican too.
ReplyDeleteWhat?!?
Ah, that's why he's been referred to on HP in the past as 'Miss Lindsey'.
ReplyDeleteI hope so. Not because I care if he's "gayer than laughter" but I do care if he votes against others' civil rights.
ReplyDeleteI have no sympathy for Graham. He has been an outspoken advocate for conservative issues, and if he is gay, he is a hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteI put him in the same category as the group of republicans who set out to impeach Clinton for having sex, excuse me, lying about it as most husbands would do if caught in the same situation.
I loved it when Larry Flynt offered one million dollars for proof that any republican in congress or the senate had an affair, outside of their own marriage. The speaker of the house resigned, rather than have the information made public. Rep.Henry Hyde was confronted with evidence of an affair that he had when he was 42. He called it a "youthful indiscretion." Hypocrites!
Now, Pat Robertson is saying that pot should not be treated like a crime. This is same guy who blamed various minorities for 9/11 and Katrina. I think that someone either has glaucoma or needs a smoke. Another hypocrite.
I'm straight, female, and a South Carolinian.
ReplyDeleteOUT HIM!
Yeah Bretta, its seems the ADN is in a pissing contest with the Alaska blogs for some reason.
ReplyDeleteThere was a time when they linked to us fairly regularly but then the Palin-bots started flaming them, and they tucked tail and ran like a beaten dog. So now they pretend we don't exist unless they really need us, or something newsworthy happens to on of us, like when I got escorted away from the Costco book signing, that they have to cover.
Aw, gee. Another one. When will they ever learn?
ReplyDeleteI mean, it's getting to the point that if a public person spouts much anti-gay rhetoric, we might as well assume they're gay.
I am generally against "outing" except in the cases of those who actively persecute LGBT people. I sure hope they have a lot more than one picture though.
ReplyDeleteIf Lindsey has any secrets like this- time for him to come clean and have that discussion with his loyal supporters. They will be both understanding and forgiving. /s
ReplyDeleteIf you weren't a hypocritical hate mongering RepubliKKKan the previous statement would not apply.
Happy holidays to all!
ReplyDeleteAlso- even Sarah and her watchers too! (Start actually paying attention to what is said here, and your New Year might go better than your old year.)
Off Lindsey Graham topic except being about hypocritical Republicans.
The great Alaskan(Canadian) gas pipeline that is the cornerstone foundation of the former half governor's so called 'energy expertise' is not so likely to be built.
Which has been known for years by real experts- but this report is one of the first real public announcements for those outside.
Link to ADN story NOT posted since they are being asshats!
Link to this story at Petroleum News
"The U.S. Energy Information Administration has removed the Alaska natural gas pipeline from its newest 25-year projection of the domestic energy market to account for the rise of North American shale gas resources, but the agency also notes that the change more likely reflects a possible delay, rather than a death knell, for the long sought-after project. "
Link to the Los Angeles Times Business Section story- (complete with WTF)
"Two pipeline companies, Alberta, Canada-based TransCanada Corp. and Denali-The Alaska Gas Pipeline, are pursuing proposals to bring gas from Alaska's prodigious North Slope to North American or overseas markets by about 2020."
Go read the whole article and wonder how Palinspeak is beginning to enter the mainstream media.
"Alaska's prodigious North Slope"
WTF?
Also note that if built it will likely be to supply energy to the incredibly polluting and wasteful 'tar sands' oil production scheme in Canada.
Thus kinda making that gas not so clean.
Which has also been known to those paying attention like Halcro in particular for years.
@6:48 pm,
ReplyDelete/snort/
That was good.
Gonna use it. Hope you don't hate me for plagiarism.
@7:25pm,
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gryph, for your prompt answer.
It was happening too often for it to just be a random mistake.
And, yes, it makes me feel powerless, so I'm contributing to your website, and well, if that makes you know me, so be it.
Merry Happy Yuletide. Lots of Love from me to you for all the good work you do.
And my condolences about Roger. I didn't meet him but I feel the loss.
It's the ones that condemn the loudest who are the most suspect in their own behaviors.
ReplyDeletePerhaps Joe Miller is gay and is leading a sham straight life. The sham could permeate every aspect of his life. That might be why Joe Miller doesn't seem or act real. Could stem from being raised by a minister father which fostered feelings of inadequacy.
Homosexuals hiding their true natures should come out of the closet to set themselves and mislead family members free. No more deceit. Just honest life. Live in your truth.
Joe Miller was forced out of the US Army without even making Captain, and prior to the DADT enactment.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't an era where officers were forced to resign.
There was a buyout but a forced resignation was unusual. Then there is the little matter of the guy he has on staff who is there to help him "pray the gay away."
Re: ADN's refusal to link to blogs.
ReplyDeleteI click on nothing about the half term governor over there because I don't want to increase her readership by name. ADN knows when you click multiple times from the same addy, so anyone wanting to do several to make up for me does nothing.
The movie was on HBO called OUTRAGE,it was a great documentary, because it basically focused on Rep. and DEMS who were in the closet, but voted against equal rights for gays. If you are going to be in government and vote laws that against gays, then be prepared to be outed as a hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteOut 'em. I know the many of the boys would disagree, but I have no sympathy for closeted, self-hating gay men who discriminate and persecute gays in general, including women.
ReplyDeleteMiss Graham will not be too pleased with this development.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Bristle pays CASH for a house in AZ: http://bit.ly/gxUbic
Does this mean she will live there year-round? What does it mean for Levi's visitation rights? Does he even have any rights left whatsoever re Tripp except paying exorbitant child support which simply enriches the most revirginized slut in history?
Oh goodie--another one! This has to be some kind of virus among right wing politicians and fundies. Maybe they should fund some research for finding a vaccination.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering what the lawyer advised. Isn't pointing a camera at someone's house generally considered a violation of privacy? Not to mention that he might be considered some sort of "terror risk" for the fact that the subject/'s property being observed is a member of Congress.
ReplyDeleteI deplore hypocrisy and would love for this sort of thing to be exposed, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't for one of these reasons.
The sad thing is, Graham is one of the less insane Republicans. South Carolina will just sent an ultraconservative in his place.
ReplyDeleteYes, OUT with the fakes and hypocrites who make laws that cause hurt and pain to many, while they hide behind their office. We know from Ken Melman,, Bush and the Republicans used this as a strategy, to win elections. They have much to account for.
ReplyDeleteThere is a way to get links posted on ADN, it's their disqus system.
ReplyDeleteType your comment without the link and post.
Then, using the edit button, go back in and add the link. Save edit and you're in business.
I went through this at ADN too and some other blogs that use the same system but someone helped me out with the way to go.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to all.
Since we're celebrating the birth of Jesus, I do recall that in my Bible, Jesus mentioned that those things done in secret will see the light of day. Maybe Graham will like receiving some of what he's been dishing out to others. Just the fact that he was so angry the other day that he showed his azz by saying Harry Reid had "eaten their lunch," during the lameduck session is enough for me to like the idea that his hypocrisy may be revealed to the world.
ReplyDeleteI don't care whether he's straight or gay, but I do care that he has the power to deny others the same rights/privileges that he has. He didn't want to do anything for the health of the 9/11 responders while knowing that he has lifetime access to any military-related healthcare facility in the country. My second beef with him is with his wanting to collect his paychecks and not wanting to work for them while making it clear that he just "hates" those who need welfare.
Who's the real welfare whore here?
He did this while millions of Americans were wondering whether they'd have a job the next day, a roof over their heads, food on the table, and/or whether their unemployment benefits were going to be extended.
