It looks like the Sarah Palin finally gets a taste of her own medicine!

From ABC News:

The website and personal credit card information of former Gov. Sarah Palin were cyber-attacked today by Wikileaks supporters, the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate tells ABC News in an email.

Hackers in London apparently affiliated with “Operation Payback” – a group of supporters of Julian Assange and Wikileaks – have tried to shut down SarahPac and have disrupted Sarah and Todd Palin’s personal credit card accounts.

“No wonder others are keeping silent about Assange's antics,” Palin emailed. “This is what happens when you exercise the First Amendment and speak against his sick, un-American espionage efforts.”

Ha, ha, ha!  Oh God, this is too good to be believed! (Hmm perhaps MUCH too good to be believed.)

After years of siccing her sycophantic flying monkeys on ANYBODY who dares to say anything negative or critical of her, the Grizzled Mama is finally getting the chance see what it is like!

I have to imagine that almost EVERY SINGLE person on Tina Dupuy's list are walking around with a big grin on their face over this news.  I know I am!

Update: It looks like Mastercard is saying that the credit card numbers leaked by WikiLeaks are fake.

However there appears to be some controversy over whether or not Mastercard is being completely truthful.  Still the chances that Todd and Sarah's numbers were exposed, seems less and less likely.

on top of that her 'people' are so fucking stupid they cannot READ the difference in 'wikileaks' and KIWILEAKS: kiwileaks: "12:15 a small group of us are manually firing at sarapac.com"

Don't jump to conclusions too fast here! Jake Tapper says SHE says her credit cards and SarahPAC were hacked. Where's the proof? No proof provided of the credit card hacking and only a so-called screen shot provided by some tech support person that identifies wikileaks.org as the source of the attack on SarahPAC.

And notice what happens when you click on the link to the screen shot? Nada. It's not there. Plus, the domain name wikileaks.org was blocked way before this so-called attack supposedly happened. No way to prove anything until more evidence is submitted.

I'm waiting to see if this is another elaborate LIE she's cooked up to get sympathy from the trolls who hang on her every sneeze and misfired guns.

Oh right, only Sarah and Todd are in the WikiLeaks sites. Only SarahPAC has been affected. Not! They are, like the rest of us, collateral damage in a much bigger war.

She needs to turn the binoculars around. Sarah, Todd and SarahPAC are not the center of the universe.

BTW what is "un-American espionage"? Assange is Australian. The Australians have a word for Sarah Palin: fuckwit.

I think she's lying. From what I understand, the other attacks were not actually hacking into computers. They were bombarding VISA and MASTERCARD websites so they were overloaded and shut down. How was this done to her personal credit card account? I think she just wants to stay in the news. Maybe she could appear with pregnant Bristol? That would generate lots of interest.

    ReplyDelete
  11. igettit24:39 PM

Would that it were true. Tapper based the story on an email from Palin. Is that a credible source? Really?

She just saw an opportunity to get her name back on the news.

IMO, Tapper is either a tool or a fool.

What was that the happened to the data entry of the AK permanent fund a friend of hers was supervising?

....and how did she find Ruedrich political use of Gov. computer?

...and ddidn't she set up an unethical email acct. to circumvent preservation of Gov. communication?

She knows too much of how to hack the system, she'll use that knowledge when convenient.

  24. Anonymous5:11 PM

I agree with anon 4:39. On the Evening News, they explained that the Wikileaks fans have the technology to bombard a website with so many hits that it causes them to crash.

Sarah is a professional victim, so she has extended a simple denial of service, meaning, she couldn't use her credit card to mean omg, they hacked my card, and Todd's too.

And, the Wikileaks people have moved into the house next door and they are spying on Piper. They are following Willow home from school. They are everywhere; be very afraid.

The weird part is she's paranoid enough to believe it happened when it didn't.

I agree with mmboucher. She is trying to divert attention away from her hunting show. And maybe the negative publicity Bristol's been getting. There has been a lot of negative stuff written this week about Sarah herself. Any time Sarah is critisized, she turns the tables and makes herself out as the victim. And the sad thing is...it usually works.

This whole hacking story happened only in Sarah's delusional mind. But it proves that the things being said about her are most likely true. So keep the pressure on!

Suppose the Bus* family is not happy with only two and actually want a presidential hat trick (used hat trick instead of trifecta so hocke* ginos can understand). And Ba*s Bu*h thinks a former WGE should stay in Alaska too.

You'd want to make your target run around yelling "they are out to get me!!".

    Mission Accomplished!

Because although the provided screen grab SAYS who is responsible- just like when French President Nicolas Sarkozy is calling- it might not be!
Washington Post story on this prank"

According to the ABC link RAM needs to BOLO for approaching buses!

Bonus hilarity- one of the topics discussed with 'President Sarkozy' was hunting (another was a Palin presidency!):

"The fake Sarkozy buttered Palin up by telling her he hoped she would become president some day. "Haha, maybe in eight years," Palin replied. Then the conversation turned to helicopter hunting, with a mention of Vice President Dick Cheney's infamous bad shot.

"One of my favorite activities is to hunt, too," the fake Sarkozy said. "Oh, very good, we should go hunting together," Palin replied, adding, "I think we could have a lot of fun together as we're getting work done. We could kill two birds with one stone that way."

"I just love killing those animals! Taking away life, that is so fun," the Sarkozy impersonator said.

    Palin laughed.

"As long as we don't bring Vice President Cheney," the jokester said. "I'll be a very careful shot, don't worry," Palin said, laughing.

Do the Palins also fall for Nigerian Bank Presidents calling about 'temporarily tied up funds too?

“This is what happens when you exercise the First Amendment and speak against his sick, un-American espionage efforts.”

Sarah Palin continues to demonstrate that she hasn’t the slightest idea what the First Amendment actually is. The Constitution affords Palin nor any other citizen protection from being attacked digitally - or even physically - for engaging in any speech. The First Amendment merely protects her speech from GOVERNMENT censorship. There is precisely ZERO speech protected from anyone else, foreign or domestic.

Since he’s not a U.S. citizen, yeah, by definition Julian Assange is “un-American.” Isn’t that kind of what being a foreigner is all about? So far, the Wilileaks brouhaha has revealed information that is mostly just embarrassing. Since when does embarrassment rise to the level of espionage, or even treason? When seriously damaging intelligence that effects peoples safety gets leaked, then you can start talking about espionage. Until then you are comparing apples to porcupines.

Palin and her faux-macho shithead posse (see, I said I’d steal that line) are none too bright. They seem to think that all they need to do is create a fake screen shot and presto, they can "prove" they've been hacked. They REALLY ain't too bright, are they? A bunch of inbred morons who think that they're the smartest ones around.

But, if the whole thing is a big fat ass lie to garner sympathy and divert attention from her Annie Oakley hunting charade, that could even be a very good thing. Will the credit card companies “out” her if she’s lying? Is she dumb enough to make false claims as to being a victim of a crime? Can you say "fraud" and "felony?"

    Boy, wouldn't that be grand?

As always this crazy bitch is lying her ass off and embellishing the story to get more attention. She will claim anything that keeps her in the news.

Lord I am sick of this attention seeking psychopath.

First thing I would do if I thought someone was hacking my business accounts via a computer would be to protect all of my personal accounts that might be hacked i.e. I'd unplug.

Instead she sends an email to ABC News?

    I don't think so.

Gawd this woman is an idiot!

As if an Australian gives a flying f0ck through a rolling doughnut about the American "first amendment" OR being "un-American"

Of course he IS "un-American".................he is Australian.

AND he committed no "espionage" an American low level soldier did that, and simply turned it over TO THE AUSTRALIAN!!

You know this is so ridiculous.

I wouldn't let the occasional temp I hire to help with with office work, get NEAR my computers with recording devices, OR allow them to work while being "plugged in" to their own little world with head sets of any device.

The same goes for the accountants that my accounting firm sends over.

And I would never dream of working for someone while wearing a head set for my personal pleasure/distraction either, never mend recording their information.

How this soldier was able to get this information in the first place, is the SLOPPIEST office atmosphere let ALONE security that I have ever heard of.

His superiors should be the ones in in jail for allowing this to happen.

If she's lying (of which I'm about 99.9% sure), the lamestream media that she loooooves (yeah, that's right) has to call her out on it. She has latched onto this wikileaks thing like a chihuahua in heat because it will get HER the attention that she needs to live and of course ABC will hand it to her. She is a pathetic excuse for a human being and our media is worthless.

My guess is that Sarah's PAC site likely was a target -- along with many others -- of DDoS attacks as "volunteer" botnets and hackers got all twittered up by the call to arms. Also likely is that DoS attacks have been attempted earlier -- it's just too good of a target to pass up, and DoS attacks aren't difficult to launch.

As to Palin's CC: if the site accepted MasterCard (or Visa or PayPal) donations, then at a stretch she could say "her" CC was impacted. But she would have had to either check the list of published MasterCard CC numbers and confirmed hers or confirmed with MC that her number had been released to claim that her "personal" CC had been compromised.

DoS attacks in themselves aren't permanently damaging -- they simply disrupt service for a while, much like if you had an autodialer that kept a phone line busy so no calls could get through.

Is DoS illegal? Yes. Is it a sleazy tactic? Yes. Trolling is also sleazy. Both have been around on the Internet as long as I can remember, dating back to the 1980s. Both are a form of protest. What concerns me is that they can be used as a cover while other more pernicious cyber attacks get underway.

So I agree that Palin's statement is another grab at publicity. Outrage outlet; there are plenty of people willing to jump on any outrage bandwagon and I have to admit she has a knack for parading those wagons in full regalia. All aboard?

What's really priceless is that she calls foreigners un-American, that my friends, is ignorance beyond comprehension.

I agree this is a distraction, but not just from the TLC hunting massacre, but that far more serious FCC complaints about ABC and DWTS voting and the backlash from glamorizing teen pregnancy. This could affect Bristol and Sarah's ability to make money, since pimping out their kids is all they have left.

Think about it, who got the email? Jake Tapper of ABC.

I think the time is right for Playboy to offer Ms. Palin a deal: profit sharing if she does a photo spread. That's where this is all headed eventually: the last possible ploy to create MONEY MONEY MONEY. She better do it quick, looks fade fast at her age.

I don't believe her for a minute. RAM says that their tech people quickly fought off the attack. I don't believe that one. Yesterday Anonymous launched DOS attacks against Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, eBay (and I don't know who else), those people couldn't "fight it off" but SarahPAC techies fight off the attack? I think she's afraid Wikileaks will or already has discovered her secrets. This is her pre-emptive victim ploy in case Wikileaks outs her: "Julian Assange is just out to get me". Either that or she is projecting her fear of Patrick at Palingates onto Assange. You know, German, Australian, what's the diff!

Technically, Sowah and Toads personal credit cards and SarahPAC are two different matters.

In the last 2 months so many Wasilla residents had thier credit card info "compromised", so the credit card companies have reissued new ones.

I've a business in Wasilla so I know a little about all the compromised cards.

Now about SarahPAC, they were probably targeted. And the take away would be to not trust the site if you wish to donate to the cause. It just can not be trusted.

Sowah has mixed the two up so she can gain attention, play a victim and garner more money for her PAC. Additionally, to keep eyes off of her daughter's growing belly.

6:44- what happened to the credit cards in Wasilla? Compromised? Leaking at a local business probably.

From looking at the SarahPac reports- it probably wasn't SarahPac leaking all those Wasilla CC #s!!

    Really. Now, THAT'S interesting.
And has nothing to do with the Palins or WikiLeaks or international espionage.
I know nothing about whatever's happening with this credit card business, but I do know that if something like that is focused in a specific geographic area, there's a local connection.
Someone in Wasilla has a gray-market credit card processing operation going on. Selling lists. A local business/bank employee doing a little illegal moonlighting activity.
I think authorities need to be doing a little checking in on all those pajama-clad homeschool/high school dropout teenagers in their parents' basements up there?
What with the state-of-the-art computer equipment, scanners, software and high-speed internet access provided FREE at State of Alaska expense through the various "homeschool" programs. Not to mention the "free" tuition at local community college campuses (which I actually approve of and support).
Web design and computer classes are the rage right now amongst Alaska's sub-urban/highway corridor homeschooled teenagers. Vocational Ed, you know, wink wink.

And what about that US Army Private Bradley Manning? Is Sarah going to Twitter that he should be shot at dawn by firing squad or be waterboarded or something?
Didn't he "jeopardize" Track's safety on deployment? Isn't that much worse than university student David Kernel reading Sarah's email that was absolutely positively subject to public disclosure, whether the State of Alaska likes it or not?
Or is he a friend of Track's or dating the girls or something?

Food for thought - Assane/WikiLeak didn't hack anything. They received it. There is a difference. An American hacked it and gave it to them. Maybe Sarah has the names mixed up?

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/06/bradley-manning-charged-iraq-killings-video

WikiLeaks was planning to release a US military video that shows one of the deadliest US air strikes in Afghanistan - the bombing of the village of Garani in May 2009. According to the Afghan government, about 140 civilians died, including 92 children.

"The Baghdad video shows one of two US Apache helicopter crews falsely claiming that there is shooting, opening fire and then laughing over the dead. The helicopters also attack a van attempting to rescue the wounded. One of them opens fire with armour-piercing shells. One of the crew laughs about the attack after the windscreen is blown out. Behind it were two children who were wounded.

Manning faces two charges under military law for allegedly illegally transferring the Iraq video and copies of documents to his computer and then for passing "national defence information to an unauthorised source". The charge sheet says Manning leaked the material to "bring discredit upon the armed forces"."

Manning wrote: "At first glance it was just a bunch of guys getting shot up by a helicopter. No big deal … about two dozen more where that came from, right?
But something struck me as odd with the van thing, and also the fact it was being stored in a Jag (judge advocate general) officer's directory. So I looked into it."

One thing about hackers, and this is real hackers not like the poor kid who guessed her Yahoo password reset question, is they do not like to be messed with.

So if Palin is going to go around and spew this crap about her credit cards being exposed then she best be ready because they will do it for fun and not profit.

Bottom line with Palin, if her lipstick on a pig lips are moving then she's lying.
