It looks like Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, gets the "honor" this year.
Zuckerberg is part of the last generation of human beings who will remember life before the Internet, though only just. He was born in 1984 and grew up in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., the son of a dentist — Painless Dr. Z's slogan was, and is, "We cater to cowards." Mark has three sisters, the eldest of whom, Randi, is now Facebook's head of consumer marketing and social-good initiatives. It was a supportive household that produced confident children. The young Mark was "strong-willed and relentless," according to his father Ed. "For some kids, their questions could be answered with a simple yes or no," he says. "For Mark, if he asked for something, yes by itself would work, but no required much more. If you were going to say no to him, you had better be prepared with a strong argument backed by facts, experiences, logic, reasons. We envisioned him becoming a lawyer one day, with a near 100% success rate of convincing juries."
I have to say that my source, who is ALWAYS on the money, was pretty convinced that Palin was a shoo-in. So I have to wonder exactly WHAT changed their minds?
Could it be the embarrassment of Bristol's undeserved third place showing on DWTS? Or that SPA is showing the world that even a carefully edited reality show/political advertisement cannot help but to reveal the shallow mean girl personality that is always right under the surface? Or is it perhaps that the wheels come off of her political locomotive every time it leaves the station?
Well whatever it was, Time Magazine dodged a bullet this time. There was a pretty good chance that their journalistic integrity (such as it is) could have been dealt a fatal blow if they had allowed themselves to become accomplices in promoting this crazed political side show.
Though in some ways it really is a shame she did not get chosen. I mean look at the "wonderful" portrait they could have used.
"I'll get you, my pretty. And your little dog too! Ah ha ha ha!"
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Love it! I have also thought how appropriate that line from "The Wizard of Oz" is for Palin. Thanks for the big smile on my face, Gryphen.
ReplyDeletei think we are hitting Palin saturation...she probably figured being everywhere is a good thing , but i think people are getting tired of her

ReplyDeleteResults of the Time poll for the public to vote their choice for Person of the Year...SP was down near the bottom in votes. Her star is fading fast.
ReplyDeleteI'd subtitle that picture "Cruella". You're right, she doesn't look Presidential, she looks hard, cruel.
ReplyDeleteThe lip area was freshly plumped and the nasal labial folds, which is why her mouth looks odd.
ReplyDeletethe bots will hate this photo
Telling that this photo is not up over at Sea4pee.
ReplyDelete"crazed political side show" -- You are so right, Gryphen. Except for the evil guys behind SP, who are not at all a side show, and who will continue to be funded by Bush's great tax reduction -- and I'm not talking about the below-$250k/yr earners, but the billionaires who will continue to rake in the dough and spend it on supporting SP-like candidates and engineering their ascendency.
ReplyDeleteI bet the flak Time caught for allowing the email-only (and not even in real time) interview helped change their minds. Plus the turning of the tide for SP -- although way too slowly and inconclusively for my taste.
When, oh when, will someone put out the mainstream media story of her pregnancy hoax, which is such a perfect symbol of her lies, lies about lies, pathology, bad ethics, other deceitful issues, the complicity of her enablers (Hi McCain! Hi MSM! Hi Koch brothers and Rupert and pals!)?
I'd say the story that pulls all this together into a story that reaches the larger public will not only win Pulitzers upon Pulitzers but also will do a huge favor for our country.
Where are you when we need you New Yorker? McGiniss? Tina Brown? Hello? Is anyone out there who can research and write anymore? --Amy1
All I can think of when I see that portrait is the closing scene of Sunset Blvd. She truly is ready for her close up isn't she.
ReplyDeleteIn addition, 79 percent of Washington elites believe Palin is a “negative influence in national politics” while just 15 percent find her to be “a breath of fresh air.” Outside the nation’s capital, however, more than twice as many believe she has had a positive impact on politics, while 50 percent see her as a negative influence.
ReplyDelete“Palin is a populist-oriented phenomenon drawn heavily from lower middle-class voters, but she also deliberately comes off as anti-intellectual and anti-Washington, so it is no surprise she does not play in the Beltway,” said Mark Penn, CEO of the polling firm Penn Schoen Berland, which conducted the survey for POLITICO. “Elites almost everywhere are turned off by her and some of the very things she does that attracts her core support.”
Washington elites’ low opinion of Palin was also clear when those surveyed were asked who is “most likely to win” the Republican nomination in 2012.

Sarah's Lust for Attention – How Low Can She Go?
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin's disgraceful photo-op visit to Haitian cholera victims, is a new low, even for this shameless publicity-hound.
Her whirl-wind tour was carefully orchestrated, with all the right clips and sound bites, to show her sympathizing, and calling for action, while having only the most carefully controlled contact with the cholera victims themselves.
Only Fox News (her employer) had full access to this media-diva while she posed for her close-ups. Questions were ignored, and only carefully prepared statements made it into the public record. Strangely, for a visitor to Haiti, she appeared to be surrounded almost entirely by white faces. This whole disgusting farce could have been shot in a studio in Hollywood (or by a Madison Avenue ad agency).
What inspired her to sink to this level? If it was to show her compassionate side, the effort was a miserable failure, and instead gave a glimpse into a cold, scheming woman with a monster ego, who has no qualms about using the dead and dying to further her ambitions.
Sarah Palin is obviously eyeing the highest levels of politics, quite possibly the presidency. She has spent the last two years building her image, by keeping herself constantly in the public eye. Whatever credibility she may have achieved just got wiped out.
This Haitian fiasco shows how unfit she really is to hold public office. The nation doesn't need this sociopath in the White House..

"Sarah Palin has the advantage going into Iowa," he opines. "That electorate is dominated by evangelical Christians -- anywhere from a third to a half of the Iowa GOP electorate. She has an organization there."
ReplyDeleteBut Dunn says Palin also has some significant liabilities.
"She's not demonstrated the seriousness of purpose. [And] she's not taken the vocal training that she should," he suggests. "She comes off more like a high school cheerleader rather than a serious aspirant for the Republican presidential nomination."
Dunn says whether Palin or any other GOP candidate can beat Barack Obama will depend in large part on what Obama does over the next two years.

It was with real terror that I clicked on the Time magazine’s 2010 Person of the Year is ... link. Then, major relief when it wasn't Sarah. When will this end? This feeling of watching a horrible accident that greets every thing I see in the media about Palin. Frankly, I am tired of it and I wish, for next year, that we will see the End of the Palin.
ReplyDelete“I would run if I believe that other candidates willing to put themselves forward in the name of public service — if they don’t have a shot at winning, I would offer myself up.”
ReplyDeleteSo under Palin’s new criteria, it doesn’t matter whether there’s a constitutional conservative already in the race. It only matters if he or she is electable.
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/gop-presidential-primary/133653-palin-stresses-her-electability-as-a-reason-to-run-in-2012
Notice the second, subtle thing her new tack tries to accomplish. Polls have consistently shown that Palin would fare poorly in a general election. After surveying seven states pitting top Republican candidates against President Obama, the Public Policy Polling group concluded that Palin was “virtually unelectable” thanks to her anemic numbers with Democrats and independents.
Hmmmm, Aaron Sorkin helped define the dramitized narrative of this social networking wonderkind - my guess is, Sarah won't be giving him a call to make her that appealing and Time Magazine's next Person of the Year?
ReplyDeleteCharles Krauthammer: Sarah Palin Must Expand Policy Knowledge
ReplyDeleteO’Reilly asked if the level of opposition to Palin is the media’s fault, and while Krauthammer said they’ve “contributed enormously” and that “the animus to her is unprecedented,” he also allowed that “she is not practiced in policy” and that the infamous Katie Couric interview was “not a ‘gotcha’ interview.”

It doesn't take hatred to disagree with Sarah Palin
ReplyDeleteThis is in response to a recent letter asking "Why the hate for Sarah Palin?" People such as myself do not hate Sarah Palin. We just think she is enormously unqualified to be president.
Why can't we have an opinion about [her] without being called "haters"?
Even her daughter Bristol accused people of being haters because we didn't vote for her on "Dancing With the Stars." Did it ever occur to her that we just thought other people were more deserving of the title?
The real haters are people who continue to question our president's birthplace, religious beliefs and patriotism. I've never seen that before.

Palin on GMA this Friday....
ReplyDeletehttp://www.gop12.com/2010/12/abcs-robin-roberts-interviewing-palin.html
In Haiti: Palin (SP and Fox) demanded tight media security and exclusive coverage; while she (they) exploited the Haitian people (referring specifically to the women washing their clothes. Only if Sarah would let us in on her life when she's at her worst...typical American exploitation going on with Haitians while your hair is combed pretty for the camera.).
ReplyDeleteJust dandy Sarah and the like...
Good decision Time.
Time didn't come to its senses.
ReplyDeleteZuckerberg, steals your private data and sells it to 3rd parties to sell you products.
Julian Assange, scares the hell out of governments globally by exposing data.
Time made the good, corporate choice.
They may as well have named Caribou Barbie as their whore of the year.
I wouldn't count this as a 'miss' for your friend. Mrs. Palin did get the cover right before the 'Person of the Year' issue. (They'd never put the same person on 2 covers in a row.) When they did her photo shoot and 'interview' so close to the end of the year, Sarah probably thought she was getting the PoY, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat did Zuckerberg do to distinguish himself in 2010 to earn the recognition? It looks like Time is just capitalizing on the movie to sell magazines.
I think the fact that their article was done by email and too many people questioned if palin even gave those responses.
ReplyDeleteTo me, that was the epitome of journalistic irresponsibility.
To assume that known liar like palin would not even talk to you for an important magazine like Times, to me, that said volumes; She couldn't be bothered or she has something to hide.
Anon @ 7:04 - evangelical Christians should be weary that Palin is not a church-goer. Her in-house Fox News studio is her church, where she gets to worship herself and be worshipped. False idol. Trojan Horse into the Iowa caucus.
ReplyDeleteSarah's fans may have been able to game the voting at Dancing with the Stars. Sarah may get away with an email interview at Time or a light weight interview with Barbara Walters. But, for someone who has had major impact on news around the world, Sarah is popular with 20-25% of the US population. When members of her own party point out her lack of gravitas, that does not point to a person who impacted the news. Sarah is someone who dearly wants to be of consequence but she chose the route of celebrity instead of careful study and preparation. If she ended up on the cover of Time, it would be for being the greatest fraud of the year, not the person of the year.
ReplyDeleteTo which Sarah would respond, "His name sure has a lot of consonants and not very Christian sounding. Was he BORN here? Also too, he didn't come in third on DWTS like my Bristol. None of this adds up, it is a liberal conspiracy!"
ReplyDeleteCuriouser, you hit the nail right on the head.
ReplyDeleteMy source just notified me that yes, the Time write up and magazine cover right before the "person of the Year" WAS a consolation prize to placate Palin and her flying monkeys.
You remember that "interview" don't you? The one that Jay Newton-Small conducted via e-mail?
I thought this was funny:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.cracked.com/funny-146-sarah-palin/
To Gryphen and curiouser:
ReplyDeleteAnd WHY would Time magazine need "to placate" SP? Because of who her backers/enablers are!
That's why the babygate hoax will not come to the fore anytime soon, right?
Gryphen, could you ask your source to comment on the "why no babygate hoax story"? --Amy1

How about the issue we should take up with this lame announcement is that this is the voice of a real leader? Vacillating between lucrative celebrity vs. enough ass kissing from Payer Warrior sycophants?
Somewhere a refrigerator is getting pelted with cans of soup and vegetables over this.
ReplyDeletewhy does she more resemble a man in that Time pic.
ReplyDeleteif any other female politician had that much bare chest showing, she'd have been lambasted, especially h. clinton. the jacket isn't even the right size. i guess she preferred more chest to proper fit.

“Palin is a populist-oriented phenomenon drawn heavily from lower middle-class voters." *BULLSHIT
Poll after poll says most middle-class people don't think $arah Palin gives a damn about them, nor do they think she shares their values. Most of $arah Palin's supporters are angry old, white conservative men. Many of them financially well-off. There is nothing "populist-oriented" about $arah Palin. She pretends to be anti-Washington, but wants so badly to be apart of it. She's a fake populist.
It isn't just "Washington elites" who think $arah Palin is a “negative influence in national politics." Most people outside of Washington think so too.
"but she also deliberately comes off as anti-intellectual and anti-Washington, so it is no surprise she does not play in the Beltway” *MORE BULLSHIT
$arah Palin is not pretending to be anti-intellectual. She really is a dummy, and she doesn't read, either.
“Elites almost everywhere are turned off by her" *SOME MORE BULLSHIT
It's not just "elites" who are turned off by $arah Palin.
Isn't that Mark Penn guy one of those "democratic" pollsters that is always telling democrats to act like republicans? Politico has a right-wing slant as well. Fuck Mark Penn. And fuck Politico.
Gryphen, I don't think I've ever seen you use this photo of Sarah - as our sitting Governor, looking like all the world to be a spoof cover on an internationally known glamor magazine.
ReplyDeleteI always thought it was a joke, a photo-shop gas, but it was r'il, Sarah putting herself out there for masstige ap'il.

ReplyDeleteare the palinbots such an important demographic to time mag that they would need to be placated? i doubt they read much (not to be mean, but it's true). doesn't add up. who is it that is backing her that needs to be placated is the better question. scary, too.
ReplyDeleteI think Paylin should continue her current strategy of making every news cycle, no matter what ridiculous thing she has to do to get coverage. The more she opens her mouth, the more she tries to show how qualified she is to be prez, the more she looks like the enormous phony she is. It's painfully obvious that whoever is calling the shots has absolutely no idea what they're doing; which leads me to believe it is Scarah herself who is running this freak show. Run, Scarah, run! Keep shooting off your mouth! Every single syllable, every grimace, every inappropriate outfit is on the record FOREVER!!! I hope the media gives her 24/7 non-stop coverage. Then we can sit back and watch the self-destruction of the biggest lunatic on the political stage in recent memory.
ReplyDeleteAll I want for Christmas is for this dingbat to be thoroughly disgraced.
ReplyDeleteEven PhotoShop has its limitations..
ReplyDeleteMy caption under the photo would be "Mirror mirror on the wall..."
ReplyDelete7:04 a.m.,
ReplyDeleteSounds like more delusional cheerleading for $arah Palin. In two years, $arah Palin has still failed to repair her image, for crying out loud. She's more unpopular now, than she was in 2008! Palin has more disadvantages than anything. Even if Barack Obama were to screw up, he would still beat Palin. The demographics work against her. Every key demographic (minorities, women, young voters, etc.) can't stand $arah Palin. She continues to only appeal to old, white men, and alienate everyone else. Barack Obama has the support of those groups over Palin. I'm sure $arah Palin will win over the important and growing Latino voting bloc in key swings states with her anti-immigrant rhetoric. Worked so well for Sharon Angle in Nevada. Not!
could she look any worse in her "official" portrait?
ReplyDeleteBotox lips and claws with huge veins are not attractive. She has a transvestite look.
Nothing was mentioned about a fellow Alaskan, Christa Brelsford who was in Haiti at the time of the earthquake. Did Palin know that Christa’s story was one of charitable efforts in Haiti before the quake? Did Palin know that Christa was badly injured as a result of the quake? Did Sarah Palin know or care that Christa suffered a broken tibia, gangrene, and two breaks of her fibula were the result of the concrete slabs that fell on Christa? Was Sarah Palin even aware of the struggle Christa had to endure to learn to walk on her prosthetic foot following the amputation? Maybe what bothered Palin was the hug Christa gave the young man who rescued her after being pinned underneath huge concrete slabs?
ReplyDeleteThe young man who helped get Christa the medical care necessary to save her life had black skin. It seems that if Palin had spent much time in Alaska over the last year she would have known that the parents of Christa were so grateful for the efforts of Weson in saving the life of their daughter, that they brought Weson back to Anchorage to get an education. If Palin were still the Governor of Alaska she would be in a position to gain national attention for “Christa’s Angels” which is Christa’s initiative to support reconstruction efforts in Haiti. Without ever leaving Alaska, Sarah Palin could have made a significant impact on relief efforts. Instead Sarah Palin has once again, exploited the tragedy of others for her political benefit. To make Palin’s conduct even more offensive is the fact that she is a bigot.

“I would run if I believe that other candidates willing to put themselves forward in the name of public service — if they don’t have a shot at winning, I would offer myself up.”-- $arah Palin
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this delusional woman think's that she's electable! She is one of the republcians weakest candidates against Barack Obama. Poll after poll says that Barack Obama would crush her. I would love to hear $arah Palin's arrogant reasoning for why she think's she is electable.

ReplyDeletedid you see this?
This woman has tried everything in her dress? who has been chasing media here??? Sarah .
So sad!!!

Sarah doesn't have style, she lives in tshirts and athletic wear because you don't have to put thought or effort into it. Look, she's hung onto her high school gym clothes, not cause she's thrifty (there is that) but cause she thinks it keeps her young.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think she got over the sticker shock so quickly with the Neiman Marcus suits? She and her Wassillabilly clan got the clothing equivalent of blood lust with all that unaccountable access to expense accounts.
Sarah never takes advice from anyone, but she will take stylists when it is paid for. If she has to cough it up, well, you all saw how she didn't pay that hairdresser somewhere in middle America right?
Other People's Money makes her glamorous. She'd be hell bent on sparing her 'hard earned' dollars on anything but dressing up her bank account.
Women voters who deserted the Democratic Party in the midterm elections are likely to return to the fold and support President Barack Obama in 2012, according to an EMILY’s List Women’s Monitor poll set for release Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteAnd Obama’s odds only improve if his opponent is former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

The survey, conducted by the Democratic Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group, tested a voting group of crucial importance to Democrats: women who supported Obama in 2008 but stayed home or backed Republicans and third-party candidates this year.
Obama commands 62 percent support among those women, while just 23 percent of that group incline toward a Republican alternative.
Tested against Palin — the lone Republican woman who ranks as a top presidential contender — Obama’s advantage was even more dramatic.
Eighty percent of the women tested in the poll favored the president in a contest against Palin, while just 10 percent said they’d support the former GOP vice presidential candidate.

I think I will vomit if I watch the ABC INTERVIEW on the 17th. Make it stop.
Some think sarah (in the portrait) looks like a witch or a wax figure or a tranny or whatever.... All descriptions are accurate and funny. But if you all took a deep breath, a step back, and objectively study the portrait, you would conclude that sarah looks like a stiff, a cadaver, an entity as dead as her loins.
ReplyDeleteAlso, too, Bristol has fat hands. And fat arms. And a fat chin. In fact, Bristol´s ankles are fatter than Hillary´s (that is a conservative joke). Bristol doesn´t walk across a room - she thumps across it (another one).

"I would run if I believe that other candidates willing to put themselves forward in the name of public service — if they don’t have a shot at winning, I would offer myself up." Never doubt her contributions to comedy.
I'm pretty convinced Mark was always going to get this honor. It's a mystery why they waited this long and EVERYONE of worth in the entertainment/journalism world guessed him. I worked on Oprah Mag and all my former coworkers as well as pretty much all the others mags in the building (harpers i know specifically) thought he was a shoein.
ReplyDeleteSarah isn't a globe charger. She's an instigator yes, which is pretty powerful, but until she branches out, TIME wont honor her with this title.
There are special needs kids right here in America that could use some high-profile attention for fundraising and she does claim to be an advocate for them.

Damn it, Gryphen, now you've gone too far! That's a BEAUTIFUL portrait of our queen, oops, I mean pre-president-elect-to-be! Look at the determination in her steely gaze. (and note that both eyes point more or less in the same direction, thank you very much!) Look at the tastefully bound implants which reflect her good taste and regal manner. Believe me, if she wanted to shove 'the girls' in your face, you'd know it! Look at how the tense tendons and flappy neck wattle channels the jowly and fierce Winston Churchill. Even the careful placement of her hands is a subtle reminder that, yes, this woman has the intellectual capacity and hard won bachelor's degree of a Ronald Reagan or a Margaret Thatcher (ok, during their early Alzheimer's years, but still!) And, so, too, also the many colors of her hair symbolize the diverse ethnic backgrounds of we good and real Americans across this great and also pro-common-sense land, tho, honestly, we should try to ignore the DARKER colors, if you get my drift. (wink!) So, PLEASE, Gryphen, in the future let's try to afford Ms. Quittypants the deep and abiding respect and yes, even love, that she so richly craves and rarely deserves! (yeesh...)
ReplyDelete@8:02, that Vogue cover was a joke. Not real. Use google, it's your friend.

It's a really bad photoshop job, too.
Poor Sarah. Why didn't the self-obsessed, phony, shallow freak make the cut? It pains me. I demand a re-vote. Doesn't Time Magazine know that all news organizations should only exist for the sole purpose of fulfilling Sarah's unquenchable desire to be the center of attention? They did a job well done earlier by letting a ghostwriter pose as Sarah in an email interview, now they suddenly drop the ball. Damn you lamestream media! Almighty God will not forget this! He is watching, and that means Sarah is too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if is actually sneering in that Time photo.

ReplyDeletePalin Thinks She Is Uniquely Electable
ReplyDeletehttp://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/gop-presidential-primary/133653-palin-stresses-her-electability-as-a-reason-to-run-in-2012
But last month, Palin tweaked her criteria — unannounced and, largely, unnoticed.
During an interview with Fox News, Palin repeated that she wanted to see if there were other conservative candidates who would run before making her decision, but slipped in this tiny proviso: Those candidates had to be “electable.”
“I’m certainly going to take a good lay-of-the-land look and see if there are others out there who are electable,” she said.
And that doesn’t seem to be a one-time shift in rhetoric. During an interview with Barbara Walters that aired on ABC last week, she was even more explicit in claiming that electability was the key determinant.
“I would run if I believe that other candidates willing to put themselves forward in the name of public service — if they don’t have a shot at winning, I would offer myself up.”
It is an extraordinarily unflattering photo portrait that highlights harsh lines and angles in face and clothing and darkness.
ReplyDeleteIt is so reminiscent of the wives of the uberrich and European minor royalty trying to look like 15thC Lords and Ladies.
I can just see it hanging in their modern prefab style house amid the lifeless heads of animals that the Palins have snuffed.
And that's not a pretty picture either.
That lapel just screams look at me look at me. It is tacky and looks cheap.
I do wonder however why she does not have an equally large tacky and garish cross on the other lapel.
Do any of Palin's internet sites have a "donate to Haitian relief" button with encouraging words for her fans to donate. She has a million or more supporters. Even a buck apiece would be a praise worthy effort on her and their part.
ReplyDeleteAlaskan bloggers raised a good bit of money and help in 08-09 for struggling communities in Alaska, much of that from the lower 48 and around the world.
Olbermann raises millions.
Your turn Sarah, walk the walk. Raise money for Hati.
You could even adopt a transplant patient in Arizona and raise anti-death panel money for that specific person.
Sorry, I don't go to her sites. But if she isn't encouraging donations than that is something worth writing up and point out.
Maybe her trolls will tell us.
I'd like to hit the nail on the head, pinning Sarah Palin's t-shirt and pants (with her in them) to a nice wooden chair in her expansive Wasilla living room.
ReplyDeleteOh, how far our media has fallen. The only Time Magazine cover fitting for Sarah would be a title like, 'We've Been Punked'.
We've got to figure out a way to make that happen.
Does that picture of her come in velvet?
ReplyDeleteSarah is going to be PISSED when she sees that photo because for all her money, she is still old. Confident women would embrace the years and their experience, but Sarah is stuck in high school. Besides, her looks is all she has. And deep down, I KNOW that she knows that.
ReplyDeleteIf the stories are true and Bristol is becoming famous in her own right, then just wait until people start referring to her as "Bristol Palin's mother." That will make Sarah go insane. "What about MEEEE?!"
I really think the reason Bristol is so damn dull is because she has to suppress so many secrets. How interesting can you be to talk to when you have to watch your words and hide your lies all the time?!
"I would run if I believe that other candidates willing to put themselves forward in the name of public service — if they don’t have a shot at winning, I would offer myself up."
ReplyDeleteWHAT A SACRIFICE SARAH, ROFLOL.
As if she guarantees a win for the GOP
"if they don’t have a shot at winning, I would offer myself up."
MY MY MY SARAH, thinking highly of yourself, aren't you? LOL
Perhaps she wasn't selected because of the letters/emails they received from Alaskans and other folks in the lower 48 who are very anti Palin and have proof sources for them to use for her many misdeeds?!!! Vet, vet, vet is the word to push to others when sister Sarah is being considered for anything!
ReplyDeleteThat Time photo of her is horrid and I cannot imagine she'd be pleased w/it. She doesn't look presidential at all - has more of a manly look and that of being evil inside and out.
This sounds like something you would write, Gryphen!
ReplyDeleteThe truly disgusting thing about Sarah Palin isn't that she's totally unqualified, or a religious zealot, or married to a secessionist, or unable to educate her own daughter about sex, or a fake conservative who raised taxes and horked up earmark millions every chance she got. No, the most disgusting thing about her is what she says about us: that you can ram us in the ass for eight solid years, and we'll not only thank you for your trouble, we'll sign you up for eight more years, if only you promise to stroke us in the right spot for a few hours around election time.

@11:46, so she'll only support a GOP candidate who's "electable"? LOL, so she can't even support herself, since the entire GOP (the sane part of it, anyway), knows that she's unelectable.
ReplyDeleteLooking at that picture, what I think Sarah needs are a pair of double D implants and while she's at it, she might as well get a butt implant too. Too bad Heidi Montag's doctor is dead--maybe she could find some other plastic surgeon to do about 10 procedures on her at once. She could feminize that hard jaw and Jay Leno chin and really her facelift hasn't held up well at all. Some more laser work on the skin and plump up those lips to a trout pout. That ought to do it. We'll see who is electable then.
ReplyDeleteThe people picked Julian Assange, so why does Time bother to have people vote?
ReplyDeleteI seriously would pay some serious CASH to NEVER have to hear about that demon woman EVER again(and her ilk)...she is disgusting and treasonous!
ReplyDeleteRupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes: You have a special place in hell for unleashing this 'woman' onto your lamestream media...whom feeds her main addiction.
Yes, yes...smoke and mirrors! But I am sure she is just your ventriloquist dummy to keep the perpetual war machine going in the middle east huh? Just saying...
I notice in that Time photo, that Chickie-Chick-Grandma Palin has her mouth slightly open. Just like I noticed in the video with her and Greta (in the van in Haiti), Palin's sexy little tongue flicked out of both sides of her mouth ... while she rubbed her leg.
ReplyDeleteWTH is the matter with her! Gawd.
Also too,
ReplyDeleteSarah and Greta, you cannot fool blacks. They are smarter than you think. They figured it out that you went to push your political agenda to put it on Ms quiters resume. Now see this for yourselves
Shame on you

ReplyDeleteI knew she wasn't going to be the Person of the Year the minute her "email interview" was featured. They wouldn't feature her as POTY after featuring her other interview just a week before. It was yet another consolation prize for our lady of perpetual victimhood. Once again, she lost.
ReplyDeleteThat's one unattractive woman. Her hands and neck are stringy and old. What happened to the skin around her nose? And what's up with her mouth? Yuck.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures in TIME are downright scary. She has aged and seems to still be wearing her daughters shoes.
ReplyDeleteThe woman has no since of style-that dress is for someone far younger it is too severe and not for portraits.
Who designed that suit jacket? Lady Gaga designed the jacket for Lady BlaBla!
ReplyDelete8:11 AM says:
ReplyDelete"My caption under the photo would be "Mirror mirror on the wall...""
.....my thoughts, exactly.
Let's have a captioning contest for her stark portrait! (Paylin probably loves that picture.)
ReplyDelete"I'll get you and your little dog..."
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall..."
And, my offering:
"NOW, Todd!"
Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteSteven Colbert just said that Julian Assange didn't violate enough peoples' privacy to be Time's POTY.
Compare the Time photo attached to this post to the photo taken this summer at the horse race.

ReplyDeleteThis was an interesting post. Most telling is that the insurance company sent an email requesting the birth certificate for Trigg. Insurance companies don't normally require a birth certificate for a child to be covered under insurance because they have all the prenatal records and medical records related to the pregnancy progress and delivery. Since they have none of that for Trig since Sarah wasn't pregnant nor did she give birth to Trig, they needed the birth certificate. VERY TELLING!
Either Princess Quit and Twit had no editorial control over which photo was chosen OR she fell in love with this strain wreck of a photo. Damn...I have looked at it 5 differnt times and it gives me the Heeby-Jeebiesl Mean, ugly, lifeless......
ReplyDeleteShe looks seriously psycho in that picture. That is why it is an awesome portrait. It captures her true essence in an acurately chilling way.
