Countdown exposes more of Glenn Beck's hypocrisy and discusses the violent imagery that has become so prevalent in American politics.

Little Green Footballs has reported that Beck has removed the image of him playing acting as a doughy, preadolescent version of James Bond.

Jesus that is just pathetic!

Newsweek has more on the state of fear that permeates Arizona these days.
Arizona has been rocked by threats of violence against its politicians for nearly a year now. Pols have been threatened with death; they’ve had their offices vandalized and shot at; one reportedly even had a $1 million bounty placed on his head. The threats came from diffuse, even contradictory sources. But together they produced an itching fear that long preceded the alleged crimes of Jared Lee Loughner. “I just hope there aren’t any copycats out there to cause harm to others,” says Joe Arpaio, the sheriff of Maricopa County.

Wow, and I thought Alaska was the home of the wingnuttiest people on the planet!

In other news it looks like Bristol has finally moved into her new home.

No I don't think these two events are related. It is just a very odd coincidence.

Ugh. If you use TMZ's zoom feature on the picture of Bristol you can see where it appears she is wearing some sort of body shaper/Spanx underwear beneath her shorts. Maybe they are those boy short undies instead, but I don't think so.

Hey, let's submit it to People of Wal Mart!

Before you ONLY blame the Right for violence, please remember:

Pelosi, despite her high leadership position, referenced the unjust comparison of nazis to Repubs

Eric Cantor also was the victim of vandalism

Obama has also used violent rhetoric, pre election and recently

Glenn's rally was less wild/crazy than the attendees of Stewarts; Beck's attendees were even more cordial

I've noticed you have a history of not reporting anything controversial Obama says, and you fail to point out his dangerous lies and misleadings

That makes you NO difference from FOX, just on the opposite side

I suggest that you add this picture of Sarah, all dressed up for the kill. It is no coincidence that Sarah included shooting scenes in her reality series. She wanted to pose with a chain saw and a rifle as publicity shots for a possible presidential run, showing that Sarah was tougher than most men.

The problem is that yesterday's publicity shot, planned last summer, doesn't look good in light of today's news. So, please, Gryphen, add those pictures of Sarah happily posing with a rifle, excuse me, maybe it's a surveyor's instrument.

The Cantor (sometimes) headquarters building bullet was on it's downward trajectory from being shot randomly into the air and was found behind the blinds having enough force to break the window. It was not considered an active act of vandalism, and, yes, we had a republican attorney general who conducted a thorough investigation and this was reported by all our local stations and newspapers.

Glenn Beck is the master of "connecting the dots", no matter how tenuous the connection, to some fear-mongering left wing conspiracy.

Strangely he's trying to erase any connection of the dots from this terrible incident back to his fear-mongering cronies. Seems the first dot connection millions of people all over the world made went directly back to Sarah Palin.

When so many people make that connection, it's normally called "common sense". How anyone can try to whitewash the connection and keep a straight face is beyond me.

Sarah may not have directly influenced the deranged individual who did the shooting. She certainly emboldened the other imbeciles, the greater fools who hang on her every word, or simply attach themselves to her image to take advantage of her inexplicable influence.

Well, the shit has hit the fan now. I hope it can never be wiped off of Sarah, and the rest of the country can try and recover from the Palin-induced insanity and move forward in a positive way without her and Beck's brands of "common nonsense".

    @7:10 a.m.,

    Blah, blah, blah...

No comparison. It has been the far-right controlling the narrative for the past two years. The media has spent the past two years promoting the far-right. The media hasn't given the Left half as much attention. It's the right that has been flooding the air-waves. There are far more instances of violent rhetoric coming from the right. The right has gone as far as to encourage violence.

I have never heard Nancy Pelosi, or Barack Obama tell their supporters they want them to be "armed and dangerous," like Michelle Bachman has. Nor have I ever heard them suggest "second amendment remedies." Like Sharon Angle did. Barack Obama, and Nancy Pelosi are also not known for their angry vitriol, and whipping up angry mobs, like Sarah Palin is.

The Left has also not been caught saying things like "If ballots don't work, bullets will!" The Left has not attended armed rallies, and showed up at campaign events with guns, or shouted in the faces of republican congress people. These were instance where people actually, and intentionally encouraged violence. And, we certainly haven's stomped on anyone's head. The cops also later confirmed that Eric Cantor's office had not been vandilized, after all, which you deliberatly left out.

Also, it has been democratic congress people who have been recieving the brunt on the death threats and vandalism. So spare me the bullshit. Sarah Palin and the far-right shouldn't be surprized when people point fingers at them when something like this happens. Maybe if the far-right had not been acting like crazy, violent assholes for the past two years, people would not have been so quick to point fingers. Try again, please.

No one is saying it's only the right. It's just that 95% of it is the right. There is no comparion.

I live in Montana now but I have lived in both Arizona and LA. I have to say that by far LA had the biggest number of crazies. I would put Montana second, guns and militia everywhere, but is beautiful and quiet. In Arizona, I lived in Tucson, the most liberal part of the state. It's a great college town that definitely leans left. Also there are a lot of artists in various parts of Arizona. You'd be surprised. But then the outside areas do have a lot of the gun toting militia types. No state is perfect. Liberal states have list of loons too. Think California.

How can Sarah Palin expect us the believe that those were not cross-hairs on that map, and that they were "surveyor's symbols." During the episode of SPA, when she and Toad, took Bristol Palin out to the shooting range, Sarah Palin Smirked as she handed her daughter more rifle shells, and told her daughter, "Don't retreat---Reload!"

    ReplyDelete
  29. Randall8:13 AM

Sarah was cautioned about the use of crosshair sights on her SarahPAC "targeted districts" map. She replied with what she thought was really cute, tongue-in-cheek, violent imagery couched in a basketball analogy:

"To the teams that desire making it this far next year: Gear up! In the battle, set your sights on next season's targets! From the shot across the bow -- the first second's tip-off -- your leaders will be in the enemy's crosshairs, so you must execute strong defensive tactics... No matter how tough it gets, never retreat, instead RELOAD!"

Sarah went on to use "Never retreat - RELOAD!" as her catch-phrase.

There are pictures and videos of Sarah all over the internet - pictures of her with different rifles. Aiming them, firing them. Sarah holding the antlers of a bloody fresh kill.

On Sarah Palin's Alaska she gleefully clubs halibut to death and executes a caribou. And she uses the phrase "don't retreat - reload."

In the midst of an emotionally charged political atmosphere, Sarah has sold herself to the public as a gun-loving killer.

    "Don't retreat - reload."

Now that there are more than a dozen wounded and six dead - including a nine-year-old little girl (Piper is nine) Sarah is furiously scrubbing her viciousness from all of her internet sites.

    Too late, though...
Scrub as she might, she just can't get the blood off of her hands
...and a new word has entered the lexicon:

    Sarassassin.

Beyonce appeared on a morning show and gave a 'celeb trade secret' away. On her tour, she wears 2 and 3 pairs of tights to hold legs firm. Looks like in addition to the Spanx, Bristol did the same as those are fat dimpled legs - like Palin who 'has to run an hour a day' (BS!) and the truth was exposed in the pics from Hawaii!!

  38. The TMZ photo of Bristol may NOT have been taken recently. The structure of the Maricopa Walmart (2 miles from her new home) and light poles don't look the same as the TMZ photo.

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/49830475@N04/5343855409/

Hollywood Life also ran an article about the move with lots of details but no photos substantiating their story. The picture of Bristol and Tripp was taken during DWTS. They show stock photos of a random Walmart, Costco, and Olive Garden as illustration.

    http://www.hollywoodlife.com/2011/01/10/bristol-palin-moves-to-arizona-sarah-palin-walmart/

It looks like the Palins carefully planted both stories. The added angle on the HL story is that Sarah's not in AZ. HL tells us that 'the crew' (implying Bristol, her girlfriends, 2 babies) went to Walmart for the coffeemaker, etc. which contradicts what is shown in the TMZ photo with Bristol and the one older woman who is not one of Bristol's girlfriends.

How many of you thought of that right away.

This was just the last straw for many. How sad the right can't see that. We aren't pointing fingers for political gain. We have just had it after two years of these media figures relentlessly attacking the President, Democrats and liberals.
How sad that they can't even press the pause button to really think about why most of America associate Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, Coulter, the tea party etc with HATE speech and the incitement of violence. Don't these people have any ability for introspection? Are they souless??

Loughner is undiagnosed with a severe and dangerous mental health condition. He may be on drugs, he may have a dealer. Those drugs would effect his mental health. He is over 18 and lives with his parents. They are not responsible for getting him into treatment anymore than any roommate would be. No one knows what state of misinformation or dysfunction they are into.

There are many others that fall through the cracks in the mental health system. The State of Arizona is knowledgeable and still they operate in a manner that is reckless and puts others at risk and in danger. In danger from someone like a Loughner who will cross that line in the sand. You know like Sarah kept saying? Does anyone know what she meant and why she had to say it so much at this time?

Also, who knows how Loughner's mind was programed? Was it all happenstance programing? He was paranoid about mind control. That may have been only due to his sick mind that needed treatment. Sometimes there is some truth to a sick persons paranoia.
Jared Loughner and Sarah Palin have one thing in common for sure, they targeted the same Congresswoman and were loud and clear about that. For all we know Loughner never heard of Sarah Palin. His drug dealer may have heard of her and passed on information about about the importance of targeting someone who was targeted by other great people. There are many ways that the targeting Palin did could have effected a paranoid person who was targeting someone on Palin's target list. It isn't always a direct connect the dots. It is just as effective of a result when a target is hit no matter how the shooter is programed.

Sarah is doing her job for the political operation she works for. Her job is to work people up and incite them. She can claim it is to vote or whatever. She is to incite and instigate. She doesn't have to know if others are programming anybody else or anything else, she just has to say "line in the sand" when and how she is told. Her rhetoric is out there and what it is, whether it is her idea or not. If she is told to yell "FIRE" and she does it, she doesn't have to know she is breaking the law to be held accountable. If people end up dead because she yelled "FIRE" in ignorance she is still has responsibility. Ignorance is no excuse with the law.

The doublespeak of the right in clear view on Glenn Beck's website. Priceless. They screech "kill him" one minute, then proclaim to be bearers of peace the next. These assholes are credible only to those who listen to what they want to hear. After all the vile garbage that's come out of the right for the past few years, what does it take for them to listen if a politically-motivated murder rampage against a Democrat isn't enough?

Why does Bristol make $30k telling people she has a hard life as a single parent when she walks around with a nanny pushing or carrying Tripp next to or behind her. Bristol is growing up to be like her mom, a liar! I don't know of any 19 or 20 year old single moms with a personal nanny, do you?

The only thing the Repubs can put on Obama is the "gun to a knife fight" quote. This was a reference to a quote from THE UNTOUCHABLES, a classic movie set in Chicago. The line was delivered by Sean Connery and in the movie, was a metaphor for the way to win against a soulless adversary (like the Repubs). Of course, when you're scrambling for justification, it doesn't really pay to look too deep into anything you find.

Beck is a hapless buffoon. He claims that he is a man of peace, yet, until just a bit ago, the puffy doughboy was playing Rambo as he brandished a handgun on his website. Yup, that's the telltale sign of messengers of peace: handguns.

Let us also not forget Beck's hilarious "joke" about poisoning Speaker Nancy Pelosi, then third in line to the presidency. Wasn't that just the funniest thing!? It is a little known fact that Jesus, Buddha, Ghandi, Mother Theresa, and MLK, used to regale the masses with their "jokes" about killing people. Such are the ways of ALL whom are devoted to cause of peace.

If this isn't a clarion call for an absolute boycott of ALL of Beck's sponsors, I don't know what is. I solemnly pledge that I will NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES buy any product from any company which feels that it is appropriate to link themselves to Beck's fetid and festering program. Likewise for FauxNews as a whole. These asshats bear a huge degree of responsibility for coarsening our political discourse to the point that threats of violence are the norm on the right.

Why the hell would anyone enable these malevolent clowns by patronizing their sponsors?

Eric Cantor also was the victim of vandalism

    -------------------------

    This is false.

The office that Cantor claims was shot up is not his congressional office and not even in his district. It is in a nondescript building down the street from a 5 star hotel and a college campus. If it was really vandalized that would have gotten top priority. It was a bullet that was shot up in the ghetto a few miles away and landed next to his office in the downward trajectory.

His office was NOT shot up. Nice try, though.

Good point -- The headstomper blamed the victim and took no responsibility for his own actions. Everyone on the right tried to make it look like said she should not have been there -- they said it was a Republican rally -- lie -- it was a public debate for both sides, she had equal right to be there as he did. Still, the right spun the story and not take responsibility nor denounce the violence --

Here we are again with the same old thing. Spin the story, never admit they are wrong or responsible. It's always Obama's fault, you know because he once sneezed wrong.

Rove politics: Always blame what you did wrong on your enemy, say your enemy is doing what you are doing before you get caught. That way, when you are caught, people will think it is being done on both sides.

    Kennedy points finger at Palin

    By: Brett Coughlin

    January 10, 2011 10:03 PM EST

Patrick Kennedy, who lost two uncles to assassins’ bullets, says there’s an obvious connection between the violent rhetoric of today’s politics and the massacre in Tucson.

“When Sarah Palin puts targets on people’s districts? Or you have 10,000 signs on the mall during the healthcare battle saying ‘Bury Obamacare with Kennedy’? When the vitriol and the rhetoric is so violent, we have to connect consequences to that.” said Kennedy, who left congress two weeks ago after serving eight terms representing Rhode Island.

    .......................

I would like for people to think back a few weeks to when Sarah's fat little piggy was showing her "work ethics" while Murder Mama Palin was encouraging cult trolls to stuff the votes on her SARAPAC political page. Remember how the trolls bragged about taking out dozens of fake IDs on yahoo so they could vote multiple times???? So please remember that when you read all these adoring trolls twittering adoration for their toxic queen and cut her apparent following/rating in half or maybe to 1/24 th as I would bet money those same dittoheads are doing the same thing now. After all, what else do they have to do in between twits besides cashing their welfare checks, spending their food stamps on crunchies, munchies, fast food and diet drinks, burping, farting and scratching their asses?

    DOES ANYONE THINK ISRAEL WILL

Sarah might get arrested if she goes to Israel or to visit the Queen because this story of her map with the gun sights is all over the world. They probably would think she is a terrorist or a paid assassin. They possibly could shoot and ask questions later.

Maybe she could take refuge in Canada - isn't that her birthplace? I'm sure if someone paid Orly Taitz she would do a birther lawsuit against Palin. You know like the old saying "What goes around comes around".

I do appreciate yur reminder about falsifying votes for Bristol. The bots were in favor of gaming the voting sysstem that the "ends justify the means" and also I read there it isn't how you play the game as long as you win. A person objected to casting false votes and the group turned on her and banishment was the punishment.

In C4P land it's fair game to create a map with sniper rifle crosshairs even when one of the people targeted is the victi of an assassination attempt and others died and were injured. Cheating is ok with them and when caught lie saying it never happened. Then lie they are christians and truth tellers invoking God's name.
