The National Enquirer says Bailey book might herald the end of Palin marriage.

Palin with Frank Bailey
As many of you know I have long stated that the Palin marriage is one based on political convenience rather than love, and in fact I was the first person to report that there were significant problems and talk of divorce as far back as 2009.

Now according to the Enquirer the revelations in the Bailey manuscript may contain information that will prove too much for the marriage to withstand.

"The Palins' marriage was already shaky, and this book is so scathing regarding Todd that it could cause Sarah to leave him," said a source familiar with the manuscript.

Sources say Palin, 47, is desperately trying to discredit former confidante Frank Bailey, who plans to publish a blockbuster book titled, "Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years."

Even while Sarah was running for governor, the couple's marriage was shaky, according to the book.

"The only love they shared was the love of Sarah's career, and everything they did was aimed at Sarah's public image," the source says. "Todd and Sarah stayed together solely for political purposes.

None of this comes as much of a surprise to me, however there was a part mentioned in this article about a possible pornographic image of Sarah Palin that I found very interesting, and not for the reasons you might assume.

In one bombshell, Bailey reveals Palin's husband Todd didn't seem to blink an eye when a doctored nude photo of her popped up during her gubernatorial campaign.

When told about the photo, Todd, 46, asked only if it was real, Bailey says.

Then the "First Dude" just laughed and hinted that snapping a nude photo of his wife would be easy since their house had so many windows and she walked around with her robe open, according to an insider familiar with the book.

Bailey, who is clearly infatuated with Sarah, is horrified that Todd does not react with more anger, especially since they attack almost ALL potentially damaging rumors with the tenacity of a pair of rabid pitbulls, but the part that caught my eye was this one: "she walked around with her robe open."

Well this incident, which takes place around May of 2006, certainly paints an image of a woman who is not terribly self conscious when in her own home. Which got me to thinking, how in the hell could a woman who had a habit of walking around the house virtually naked have possibly hidden her pregnancy from her own children (as she claims in her book "Going Rogue" on pg.191, and has been corroborated by other sources as well) for seven months? According to Palin she "shared the news with family" in March right before she went public.

So are we to believe that a woman who walked around the house semi-nude often enough that her husband had no difficulty believing somebody could have photographed her in that condition through their giant plate glass windows, suddenly started dressing so conservatively in her home that NOBODY in the family realized she was pregnant?

Like I have said all along, there is NO way her family would not have known she was pregnant, which is just another obvious indication that she faked the whole thing.

And despite Frank Bailey's denial of the evidence that was right in front of him, his book is just chock full of evidence that does much to prove she faked this pregnancy right under the noses of her closest friends, and trusted advisers, who were clearly so enamored of her that they were unable to recognize that they were all being taken for a "wild ride" right along with the rest of Alaska.

I have made this plea in private, but let me once again make it in public;  PLEASE GET THIS BOOK PUBLISHED JUST AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE!

I don't get it. I didn't download a copy of the book so I'm working from ignorance here, but IS there enough in that book to cause the marriage to break up? It sounded to me more like confirmation of what we already knew rather than new stuff. Is that true, Gryphen? I realize you want to protect the authors' copyright, but you can answer this, can't you?

My memory is a bit foggy, but I remember reading back during McCain's Presidential campaign, a couple of campaign workers (men) came to the Palin hotel room to speak to Sarah.

If I remember correctly, Sarah came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, and these men were not only uncomfortable by this display, they were surprised at Todd not giving a damn that she did this.

    Does anyone remember this?

Good point, Gryphen. Everyone's focused on the marriage aspect, but you're right: if she was always walking around exposed (ewww), how could she hide a pregnancy? And was she exposed in front of her teen-aged son??? This just gets crazier and crazier.

Any info on if and when the book will be published? I want to get in line!

10:44 Yes, I remember hearing about that episode. God, I hope the entire Palin clan is brought down with Bailey's book. Can hardly also to read the books being put out by McGinniss and Dunn..there is no way idiot Palin will be able to run for anything!

  14. Do I think that the information in the book will break up the marriage. For all intents and purposes the marriage is already broken up.

Currently it is only a marriage of convenience to keep Palin's family values credibility intact.

What will ultimately destroy the marriage is if Sarah decides that Todd is more of a liability than she can afford. Then she will leave his ass so fast it will leave tire skid marks on the roads leading out of Wasilla.

And, this woman is going to give a speech about religion that is going to be broadcast across the nation to 1,000 churches?

Who never attends church in the Valley, who doesn't contribute to her supposed church and who doesn't act like a 'christian' and I use that term loosely where she is concerned. She's proven to be a liar (Alaska and nationwide) and an unethical person (Alaska Legislature during the national campaign w/McCain).

The fact there are actually "some" Americans that find her 'someone to listen to' just amazes me. There are some pretty stupid people in our country and we are being laughed at (due to her) by other countries. She has also become a major embarrassment to Alaska and Alaskans.

The idiot needs to go down!

Where on earth did she learn that walking around half naked was okay? Especially with a teenage male around and huge paned windows? Another throw back to Creepy Chuck perhaps? Something is seriously wrong with that family and it did not start with Sarah.

Walking around with her robe open adds a little to the babygate story, but what really gets me is how does a family that purports to be so close not know their mother is 6 + months pregnant? She may have been able to hide it with scarves for friends and co-workers, but do her kids never hug her? My kids hug me everyday, and they would notice if I was 6 months pregnant. I can see maybe Piper not figuring it out because she was younger, but 3 teenagers who have all seen their mother pregnant before? Either the family is as cold or colder than we thought, or the whole thing is BS. I'm thinking a combo of the two.

What kind of mother keeps that kind of secret from their children and her parents? If I knew I was having a DS child, I would want to prepare my other children and I'd want the support of my family. Keeping it a secret is mind boggling. Either she was in extreme denial and hoping the child didn't make it, or she faked it (which is what I think she did). Either way, it speaks to her mental stability.

I honestly think the e-mails announcing her pregnancy (her closest staff was shocked) and about the Bristol rumors in FB's book support babygate more than her walking around with her robe open.

    Uugghh.
Not a good look--A vision of Sarah walking around in an open robe made me throw up in my mouth.

That mariage will NEVER end. She'll live in one place and he'll live in another. The perfect fundy divorce. She needs to show up at least once a year for photo-ops for the Iron Dog. And he needs to grin ear to ear beside her when she threatens everyone with some kind of stupid senatorial or presidential run.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Anonymous11:45 AM

I think that no matter how much a sham the marriage is, she can't TRULY leave Todd. She has a very small circle of confidants who "knows where the bodies are" (quoting article), and Todd has to be number ONE. Plus, who else would so zestfully do her "legwork".

Heck, sometimes I think Sarah is a front for Todd.

And yes it was reported that during the 08 campaign, she nonchalantly greeted some McCain staffers while wrapped only in a bath towel.

After seeing the beach photos of the half term governor the idea of seeing her nude is repulsive. Someone on the McCain campaign said she had bad "hygiene". She is a nasty looking woman.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anonymous11:53 AM

I agree with Gryphen's argument about difficulty hiding a pregnancy in a half naked state. But there are healthy families that are more comfortable with family nudity than most of America and there is nothing illegal, immoral or unethical about it.
Sometimes the kids are uncomfortable with parental nudity, and parents should respect the children's feelings along with their values and beliefs, but no one said the kids complained about it.
Sometimes it seems like people want to make things even worse than they are, and things are so messed up with SP that it is totally unnecessary and weakens the argument.

Fading Sarah Palin Flees Alaska for Arizona With Eye On Dying 2012

The former “hottest governor from the coldest state” has taken quit a dive in both political polls and general perception of hotness. Not only is she no longer governor of Alaska after quitting on them, but she is no longer considered hot either, winding up #1 least desirable woman of 2011 on Ask Men. But reality never daunts Sarah Palin. Palin may be quitting on Alaska again, this time for good, as rumors suggest she’s moving her 2012 Presidential headquarters to Arizona, perhaps in hopes of the desert heat reigniting her dying flame.

While the political polls show Palin tanking over the past two years, the public’s perception of Palin is even more telling of her 2012 chances. Sarah Palin’s image has taken several seemingly irreversible hits since 2008, the largest of which were her self-pitying blood libel video in the wake of the Arizona massacre along with petty fights she’s picked with over 87 public figures in an attempt to stay in the spotlight.

New article from Sarah Jones on Palin move to AZ to set up presidential headquarters. She could also be setting up residency to run for senate given Kyl is out and McCain's seat could potentially open at any time. If you consider Bristol's move to Maricopa, Sarah's tight relationship with Gov. Jan Brewer and Van Flein's move to the state it is obvious something is in the works.

Something strange went on there and she doesn't know where to draw the line because she was never allowed to have or taught any boundaries. She was, however, taught how to tease and never follow through. That's how she keeps her followers. She's fucked up in a really sick way.

  51. I don't think Bailey wants to be the guy to concentrate on the Trig story. He has enough other damaging evidence. He wants someone else to expose that scandal. Like you Gryphen?

I think both Todd and Sarah have had many affairs. I think Sarah has been sleeping with Graham or some other guy that has a lot of money. Sarah sleeps around like Todd guarentee it.

Sarah uses men for what she wants that is obvious. Just like she does people. That is the only way you can get to the top of the ladder. Sarah is no innocent lady and has a closet full of skeltons!

Sarah will do anything to get to the top. Malia Litman has an article up about not underestimating Sarah. But it is not going to be easy to fool the people of America. The only way Sarah could win the Presidency is by rigging it with her rich boyfriends!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Anonymous12:53 PM

The answer is that Sarah has no self awareness. Or else, when she looks in a mirror, there is no reflection there, just like in the vampire movies.

She put on a scarf and thought that it was a way to "hide" a so-called pregnancy. As governor, sitting on the stage for a memorial service. she chose to wear a short, tight skirt hiked up to you know where. (Guess what she'll be wearing in India, too, you betcha). She wore red sandals with high cork heels to another Memorial Day service; she really has no idea of how she looks, or she has the worst taste in the world.

So, to walk around with a robe open, all I can say is that at least she had a robe on. The Huffington Post quote from Game Change was the first thing that came to my mind, just like Denise from Michigan:

At the GOP convention in St. Paul, Palin was completely unfazed by the boys' club fraternity she had just joined. One night, Steve Schmidt and Mark Salter went to her hotel room to brief her. After a minute, Palin sailed into the room wearing nothing but a towel, with another on her wet hair. She told them to chat with her laconic husband, Todd. "I'll be just a minute," she said.

Sarah knew early on that she could work her charms to get her way. She was quoted as saying that she was going to a city council meeting, and she had to wear her best push up bra (because she wanted to get her way).

Sarah leave Todd? It will cost half of her fortune. Changing her residency to Arizona won't help. Arizona is one of 10 community property states (like Alaska). That means that Todd gets half. She is too cheap to give him that much, especially since he could blackmail her for more hush money. That's the problem with marrying a Big Bully. He knows all of the secrets and he knows how much they are worth.

Sarah leaving Todd (to play the victim) is not a good image for that Christian bunch. I don't see that as a plus in the family values crowd, any more than a teen having a baby out of wedlock is a positive message. If she was going to leave Todd, she had her chance when the prostitute story came out. Todd has no reason to leave; he is riding the gravy train. And, I don't think that Sarah can find a bigger bully to act as her body guard. They really do deserve each other.

It seems like Todd owns Sarah, though she may not yet understand this. If divorce rears its ugly head and they start fighting like cats in a bag, it's unlikely that Sarah would willingly give into Todd in regards to custody of children, ownership of property and division of wealth.

Both Sarah and Todd Palin are repulsive individuals whose ability to love is doubtful. Whatever they acquired from their "marriage", it was profitable for both.

Frank Bailey is hoping to retain a shred of credibility by shamming a belief in Sarah's pregnancy with Trig. But, by ignoring obvious and plentiful evidence that Palin was not pregnant, Bailey has just made a case that he is idiot (also, too).

Bailey's perception of reality was flawed and remains so today. He'll sell plenty of books, but his "facts" are really just more dribble from a still brain-washed cult follower.

They were smart to go with a known actress. I wanna know who signed up to play the bag of bones

I also think it'd be funny if they cast a porn star to play Meggie Mac. She did mention in her book all the consultants she went to

I still have no hope for this movie. The book was merely an overdramatization on all sides. The authors were shooting for a movie deal

  75. "What kind of mother keeps that kind of secret from their children and her parents? If I knew I was having a DS child, I would want to prepare my other children and I'd want the support of my family. "

Well, and Sarah of all people? The most damning part of her story for me is the idea that Sarah of all people, a proven narcissist with an ego the size of Jupiter, allegedly chose NOT to be the center of attention, that Sarah of all people chose NOT to take the opportunity to portray herself as the noblest and bravest preggo on the planet, that Sarah of all people chose NOT to dare the "old boys network" to criticize her for mixing work with special needs parenthood, and on and on.

Please. If there is one thing we've learned from that egomaniac, is that she takes any and all opportunities to elbow everyone else out of the way to screech "look at meeeeeee"! Sarah trying NOT to draw attention to herself? Bwahahahah!

Julianne Moore playing Sarah Palin? Wow, that is flattering to Sarah. There's quite a gap in attractiveness there (in favor of Moore). I wonder what kind of prosthetics they'll use. It was so interesting when Hope Davis played Hillary Clinton in The Special Relationship. She was dead on. Actually, Davis and Moore are friends, what a coincidence.

I bet it is bugging Sarah that Moore is older than her. Palin is 47 and Moore is in her 50s. Bottom line, though, she looks way better than Palin no matter her age!

You know the whole towel scene and the walking around in an open robe was kinda gross, but now that Julianne Moore is playing her in HBOs production of Game Change I'm looking forward to those scenes.

What I like about the HBO coming event is the fact that Moore is a liberal. She'll project Palin as she truly is and isn't - where a conservative actress might not have!

I suspect Palin will be shown to have lost the election for McCain -and McCain will be reminded AGAIN that he never should have chosen this idiot as his running mate.

Once dead, I suspect he'll be remembered mostly for having picked Palin as his running mate - to his demise. And, today they actually very much dislike each other. You live what you reap, McCain. You asshole!

I think todd was full of shit on that, of course I have no proof, but it sounds to me like something he'd make up so others would envy his situation. What I saw of the Palin compound, was that one would have to get directly in front of the house to see through the living room windows. That would mean either getting on the grass where the concrete pad is located or from a boat parked directly in front.

The rental house? - nope, it has (had) Todd's infamous 14-ft fence there - but even so, you could only see the side of Sarah's house with only 1 visibile bedroom (?) window - and that is very, very high up.

So unless someone is sitting with a telescope across the lake, nobody would see Sarah parading around opened-robed. Remember too, that windows reflect light, so unless the lighting was perfect, nobody would see anything - unless on a very dark night with the interior house lights on full bright.

To Frank I would say, hope you recover your finanial losses buddy, 'cause the airline job was definitely not worth quitting because of your blind allegiance to Sarah Palin.

While the book has details about crazy Sarah, oveall it is poorly written in my opinion. It needs alot of work. Baily comes across as a besotted idiot...without much explanation. Too bad he is so convinced Sarah gave birth to Tri-G. He must be half brain dead to believe she was actually carrying a live fetus in her uterus. Also, wish he stated which hospital he visited her craziness in.

    ____

I think it was contaminated gas too. Does anyone remember the soap operas from the 60's- Dallas and Peyton Place? Palin's are filling the America's infatuation for such drama... sex, crime, politics, power, trailer trash, corruption, unwed pregnancies, rich deceitful corporate types, shotgun weddings, Menard's death, fake pregnancy, with a few decent people thrown in (Mercedes, Monegan, Lyda Greene, etc.)...

    ReplyDelete
  111. Anonymous8:06 PM

I don't really think there's anything newsworthy here- Todd might have once made a passing remark about Sarah walking around with her robe open. Suddenly everyone here has Sarah parading around in her birthday suit, pressing her body up against the window. Guys, chill. An "open robe" is a far cry from naked, and Todd said nothing about her wearing it all over the house in front of anyone. I'm not a Palinbot, but I believe she is a human being, and I'm not going to get up in arms about her walking around her house in an open robe. Sheesh.

Secondly, and more to the point, I thought it was already established that the kids DID suspect she was pregnant. Mercede wrote so on her blog. So yes, she didn't tell them until late in the pregnancy, but they suspected long before that.

Without making it a major point, Bailey pretty much indicates that Sarah's religiosity was sporadic at best, though.

Maybe the wife just had her own self-delusional rationalization deal going on… After all, what was a "good Christian man" like Frank doing spending so much time away from his family if Sarah were just another politician (or worse) and NOT The Anointed One? I can't see that anything in the book would tell either Sarah or Todd anything they didn't already know about each other. It sounds to me as though they largely have had separate lives, and that that will continue.

I'm in the camp that now assumes they were never officially married, given that Sarah lies 9 times out of 9. The documentation processes in Alaska seem to be as lax as they are secretive, so who would be the wiser? I think Todd has pretty much known Screech was nuts from the get-go and has just been going along for the ride.
