Frank Bailey's book to be released May 24th. Update!

Courtesy of Today Book News:

An imprint of Simon & Schuster announced Monday that it had signed up "Blind Allegiance," a long-rumored tell-all by former Palin aide Frank Bailey.

The imprint, Howard Books, will release Bailey's book May 24. Excerpts from an early draft were leaked to reporters earlier this year.

Bailey worked with Palin while she was governor of Alaska and when she was John McCain's running mate on the Republican presidential ticket in 2008.

Howard Books is calling "Blind Allegiance" a "chilling expose." Author Ken Morris and Alaska political blogger Jeanne Devon helped write the book.

Wouldn't you like to see Palin's face when she sees THIS news?

And for all of you who saw the leaked copy and figure you have read all that Bailey has to offer, believe me you have not!  There were tons of e-mails and quite a lot of amazing information left out of that leaked manuscript, and I am confident we will see some of that included in this book once it hits the bookshelves.

Update: Here is a look at the cover.

Oooh, I like it!

Can't believe how quickly this book is being rushed into print. Lightning speed for any book, but when you consider how this book will need to be vetted by lawyers, it's staggering.

Great news Griff, glad to hear that Ms Grifter will get some Xposure.

"I won't sit down and shut up"
    will hopefully change to
dead silence, and a few subpoenas..

She's done as much damage to the culture of ignorance, divisiveness, and class warfare in this country as Rush "Slimeball" and Glen Feckless

I have been wondering what was going to happen with this book! I've been worrying that the leaked manuscript had damaged any chance of publication.

May through September...(big sigh of happiness) 3 books refudiating Palin's homespun, rill Amurikin facade and exposing her true nature at long last. I am positively squirmishing in anticipation. VHTG

Yesssssssssssssssss! Congratulations, Frank. I was so hoping you would find a publisher.

Please be sure to review the evidence re babygate -- now that you see things a little differently than you did at the time.

The three books -- Dunn, McGinniss, and Bailey -- will be a comprehensive triumvirate look at SP. Get that amazon page up so we can pre-order.

Obviously, they've been vetting it and putting it through through a legal review. They must have gotten the go ahead to publish and must have knowledge that Sarah will NOT be granted any further delays on releasing the e-mails. I had thought they'd wait until the e-mails were officially released, which would make the question of whether Frank Bailey could legally use them in his book moot for the most part. I can't wait til it comes out, and can only wish the worst for the Palin brand and all things Palin - with the exception of the innocent babies.

It's probable that vetting was already underway when the manuscript was leaked, and that Simon and Shuster were awaiting a milestone in the vetting process prior to announcing the deal and release.

That said, even if this is the case (which I have no idea) it's still really fast.

  25. A Sarah Palin trifecta - Dunn, McGinniss, and Bailey - how very cool and couldn't happen to a more deserving person then to be exposed for the lying and hateful person that she is.

Stunned how fast this book is coming out - is it going to be in print or ebook version. I'm sure a legal team has been working overnight to go over every detail - if the content is backed up by emails then it's fact (not slander) so no way he could be sued.

Looking forward to all 3 books - each I'm sure will have a variety of insights and facts - and even the stuff that may be covered in all three it will still be from different vantage points with different pieces of puzzle.

I'll be smiling big all day in anticipation!

Just a thought....Sarah may try lawyer control, but it will be interesting to compare the release of the e mails with Bailey's book. Also Bailey will be able to tell if the redacted info is personal or security as is usual for Governments. Double Baileys with my coffee! Rearrange the deck chairs Sarah! GAME ON!

I have a hard time reading about the "Track's dad" issue. Todd is Track's father. Legally and emotionally. Whether he is the sperm donor is irrelevant to anyone's life except those involved, and irrelevant to politics. It happened over 20 years ago, and MAY have involved deception - but it was Sarah & Todd's deception. And it happens thousands of times a year. There was no fraud on the public. Todd was and always has been his legal father, and from what I can tell, his psychological father.

SP's alleged deception isn't just that she isn't the bio mom. It's that she tried to pretend she was the bio mom, has seemingly lied about the date of birth, has injected her daughter into the issue, and has identified at least two, and perhaps three, babies as Trig - an impossibility. All leading to the question "why?" If indeed Todd is not the sperm donor, there is little dispute about the answer to the question "why."

I think it's at best insensitive, and at worst, mean to drag Track into this national spotlight. He may be troubled and not real likeable (I don't know) but that's all the more reason not to drag him into a national discussion about his parentage when on this issue, he is totally innocent. Nor has SP dragged him in to the issue. NOr has he spouted Family Values stuff, or publicly defended his mom. He has stayed out of the spotlight and I htink we should respect that. Give Track a chance to mature outside the spotlight. A lot of troubled kids grow up to be fine people - but hte national spotlight doesn't help the process.

Letter to the Alaska Department of Revenue Re Sarah Palin’s Alaska

    Re: Sarah Palin’s Alaska

    To the Investigations Officer:

On February 19, 2011 the Anchorage Daily News reported that the TLC “reality show” Sarah Palin’s Alaska had been approved to receive $1.2 million in tax credits. The application was reportedly submitted by a California-based production company Jean Worldwide Inc. Your office reportedly approved the paperwork on Feb. 11, 2011.

Pursuant to the express provisions of AS 44.33.236, the tax credit is NOT available as follows:

“(b) The following productions are not eligible, regardless of the production costs:

    (1) news, weather, or current events programming; …

    (7) a political advertisement; or

    (8) a production that is determined by the department to be …detrimental to the people of the state.

Enclosed is a copy of Sarah Palin’s Alaska DVD which contains each of the episodes filmed and used for the television show and which is now for sale in stores. As you will clearly see the show was NOT eligible for the tax credit as it was reflective of “current events”, it was a “political advertisement”, and it was detrimental to the people of Alaska.

You got a 14 to 16 year old pregnant child that disappears to the country side to live with relatives deep in the woods, and they described it as mono, MONO? I’ve never known any family who sends their daughter away to live with relatives for mono. This was something that that was done many years ago when a daughter brought shame upon the family by being pregnant without a husband. Again, what you see of the Palins is really not what it appears to be.

    The rush is interesting.
The publishers want to introduce a book when the interest is most active .
Guess they also realize that interest
    in Palin is waning.
Next year will be too late.

Bailey's leaked manuscript told of how Todd calmly reacted when Bailey told him
about doctored photos of a nude Palin were circulating on the net.
Todd seemed unsurprised as if he was expecting real ones to appear.
    " Todd's response was " Is it real? "
Bailey writes that Todd laughed quietly
and told him that his wife walks around their home with her robe open,
despite the house having many windows."
I kinda thought the title of Bailey's new book
    might be
    "Going Robe."

Will the book cover that what you see of the Palins is really not what it appears to be?

So the Palins hid their daughter away for several months under the pretense of mono and then the 50 year old looking mom just happens to announce that she is pregnant and ready to deliver and everybody is surprised. Nobody noticed her morning sickness or being tired or questioned her square flat stomach. Nobody came forward and said they felt unborn Trig kicking away in Sarah's stomach or seeing a lump moving across Sarah's belly like most mothers proudly shows off. This pregnancy was strange because Sarah always shielded her belly of love with jackets and scarves. Nobody came forward claiming to share her joy or to explain the seat cushion looking belly.

There is Track, Sarah claims to be the proud mother of a combat vet. Sarah just can't be the proud mother of a military son in Iraq, not good enough for her. Sarah stood in Washington DC and shared with the world that the Pitbull with Lipstick from Wasilla raised a soldier, not just any old soldier, but a combat vet! Sad to say for Sarah, there is no combat vet prop to carry around or purple heart for Sarah to display.
Track's discharge papers let Sarah down, no combat medal to be seen. Like Bristol, Track disappeared in shame in his mother's eyes.

Again what you see of the Palins is really not what it appears to be.

Then there is the marriage between Sarah and Todd. They keep telling people they are married, they are in love, but after hearing Sarah sought comfort in the arms of Todd's good buddy and snow machine business partner, their business quickly fell apart like their friendship did. Then later on Todd finds companionship and love in the arms of another woman that he was not getting at home. Strange, there is no divorce or separation for the Palins, is this a marriage of monetary convenience? People in love shows they are heart broken or in counseling when one or both partners strays from the other, but not the Palins. They ignore that Love emails are being sold on the internet and they are very quiet about it. What a strange marriage and relationship these two have.

Again, what you see of the Palins is really not what it appears to be.

    Anonymous 9:37AM & 10:03AM:

No, Track ought not get shielded from anything! Recall he cost the school district a ton of $ for disabling the school buses. Then those escapades cost Monegan his job because he refused to fire Wooten. Wooten's territory covered the school bus area where the incidents occurred, so $P needed Wooten gone.

Doubtful getting rid of Wooten had anything to do with domestic quarrels - $P just needed to keep her political path clean - so Tawd breaks the laws of confidentiality and goes after Wooten.

Did that all fail so they shipped Track out of state 'til he was old enough to go to the Army? His "buddies" got caught red-handed but covered for him. $P paid how much to make that happen?

Drugs, ETOH & other events are well documented as part of Track's activities.

$P said he was in combat but those seem to be contradicted rumors.

The despicable military gun man whose photos of horrendous murders of innocent Afghan civilians has been viral on the internet is referred to in the media coverage as an inappropriately physically aggressive player when he was in school, and now named as the leader in the grotesque killings, and as a friend of Track Palin.

PRIOR: Excuse Track Palin from anything? Why?

RESPONSE: Because Track had nothing to do with who his bio/psychological/legal parent is/are, and Track has not sought the spotlight, and who the sperm donor is irrelevant to the political discussion in ways that Trig's history isn't.

Don't excuse him for his bad
behavior. THat's fine with me. I don't see it as a license to hurt him for things he had no control over, and I think the argument is mean-spirited, rather than searching for the truth.

PRIOR: There are casualties to innocents in all battles... Track's parentage may be one of them.

RESPONSE: I agree. And they are all tragic. And should never be considered cavalierly and unworthy of considering how to proceed.

I consider the Trig story legitimate enough to pursue. It's not just about his parentage. It's about a political hoax - about passing two or three babies off as one, etc.

Track doesn't seem to me to be a necessary casualty. Perhaps I am mistaken, but the only thing I have picked up on is a mean-spiritedness. What is the politically relevant story that makes it relevant.

RESPONSE - Wrong. It IS another political lie. Track is another political lie - her "combat vet." If his parentage is also a lie, it's relevant and it's Sarah Palin's fault. It's not "mean-spirited" to want to know what the truth is, especially when Track's been mentioned fifty times in public speeches as a great example to our nation of her terrific family - words from his own mother in the speeches she's been paid to make.

PRIOR: Wrong. It IS another political lie. Track is another political lie - her "combat vet." If his parentage is also a lie, it's relevant and it's Sarah Palin's fault

RESPONSE: The assertion of his being a "combat vet" is pertinent. I feel badly for him that his mom uses him, but it seems legitimate issue.

I'm missing how Track's parentage is a political issue. She hasn't lied to the nation. Todd is Track's legal father. I don't get where the lie is - and she wouldn't be the first fundamental Christian with a similar issue. Lots of people make lots of mistakes (if this was a mistake) when they are young. It was over 20 years ago.

Are you really advocating that she should come out and tell the nation about a sperm donor - and disrupt her son's life, her other children's lives and the lives of the other family! That seems just mean to Track and all the other children involved.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Anonymous8:00 PM

Forgive me, @7:36, but I've tired of the quaint dialectic.

Yes, I am suggesting that the truth about the Palin "family values," including lies about any members of their "perfect American family" have become political issues and fair game. He was not even a true "Combat Vet," in terms of how he served and he served less time than most are required to do. If Sarah Palin had not, from August 2008, introduced & continued to feature Track and her other children in all her speeches, appearances and TV show episodes, then it would not be pertinent. But she did, over and over again. She made Track Palin a public figure, bragged about him, and held him up, rhetorically speaking, in much the same way she did Trig. She emblematized Track Palin. If you think Trig is a political issue, you cannot say Track is not. She did it to both of her sons, and her daughters as well. So yes, the truth about her perfect American Palin family is relevant, because she made them all part of her "campaign" and continues to mention them as part of her trademarked "educational/entertainment" brand.

So yes, the truth about her perfect American Palin family is relevant, because she made them all part of her "campaign" and continues to mention them as part of her trademarked "educational/entertainment" brand.

RESPONSE: I think Track's service (or lack thereof) and even the reason for his service is legitimate. The information is fairly recent, and relates to the claims she makes about him. The behavior was egregious, and even if she wasn't on the national stage, she was already on the political stage in Alaska's media. He knew that when he did whatever he did. I feel badly and mixed about it, but I can see validity to the issue.

But Todd is Track's father. Whoever the sperm donor is, it happened over 20 years ago. It happens to lots of people. Some of them are very decent people 20 years later. Some were decent people when it happened. Legally, it is totally irrelevant. Todd is legally the father, and he stepped up and became the psychological father. To put Track, who doesn't need, and hasn't asked, to be put on the national stage makes things much more difficult for him. And this appears to be a kid who doesn't need things to be made more difficult, he has enough troubles already.
If Sarah had told everyone she adopted a child (Trig), I would say the history behind all of the Trig story was irrelevant too. SP would be the legal parent and that's all we're entitled to know (unless she ceases to be the psychological parent, and then that's fair game).
SP has made her kids part of her campaign. I'm guessing they have had no say in the matter which makes me more cautious about treading on his privacy (Bristol is a different story although I have some mixed feelings about it. But not so mixed that I think it's all off limits). There is so much to knock about SP's "family values" that I don't see Track's parentage as all that valuable a story. I think it just makes this side look vindictive. To take a child, and his siblings (bio & psychological) and splash this on the national/international news when it might amount to some very small degree in showing her to be a fraud (because there is soooooooo much other stuff) about something that happened 20 years ago seems cruel to me. Cruel to Track. Cruel to B, W, P & T, cruel to the sperm donors children. It requires them to deal wtih things, on a national stage, and I don't like doing that to kids.

RESPONSE: I don't have an insurmountable problem with look at Track's service record, given his mother's statements.
I don't have an isurmountable problem with looking at Track's behavior that lead him to the service.
PLease explain to me how revealing a sperm donor to the nation will help reveal SP's true nature. It will show Todd to be a stand up guy.
Track had some control over whether to go into the service. And his conduct in the service. And his conduct in the years before that lead him into the service. He had no control over his DNA. Nor do his siblings.
And there is no fraud. Todd is Track's father.
I think if the story of Track's parentage made national news it would
    1. warm the Bots because it proves once again she didn't abort
    2. Make Todd a stand up guy - which from what I know he is in this instance (not in a lot of other instances, but in this instance)
    3. Alienate the swing voters who will look at it as politics of personal destruction.
    4. The liberals probably won't care so much about personal, consensual behavior.

Sometimes when a person uses weak, gratuitous or mean-spirited arguments, it weakens the stronger arguments because it looks like the person is willing to throw the kitchen sink in, whether it's relevant or not. I think there's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much out there, I don't understand not caring about hurting an innocent (and Track's behavior as an adult is not innocent, but if considering the circumstances of his birth, he is an innocent.)

@5:46 & 5:57 - On Team Track's PR team, eh? Your willingness to deny the ramifications of Palin's behavior in regards to making her children public figures--and setting them up as emblematic of her Christianized entertainment brand--is irrelevant and illogical. The truth about the Palin family is the exact opposite of her branded, trademarked image; Track is a part of that deception. The truth about his paternity is just aspect of that deception. It's coming out whether you object to it or not. It's already in Bailey's e-mails.
