Jon Stewart was GREAT last night. EVERYONE should take a look, esp since, right after the AZ shooting I felt he was defensive about putting any blame on the cross-hairs and "reload" rhetoric. Well not last night. He was on fire and terrific.
It's about the day when she was promoting violence against Barack Obama in Clearwater. It took me back to those frightening days when she and McCain were letting their crowds get out of control and civility went out the window.
McCain, in New Mexico at the same time, allowed someone in the crowd to yell, "kill him", referring to Obama, with no pushback.
I had never seen that kind of rabble-rousing, and I found it sobering and discomforting. We had hit a new low in national discourse.
The Repubs made a big deal of Michelle touching the Queen last time the Obamas were in England. The Queen made a statement to the press that she was in no way insulted.
The Repubs made a big deal out of the Obamas not being invited to the Royal wedding. Well it looks like the Queen has just given all of the naysayers the middle finger.

The Obamas will spend two nights at the palace as guests of the queen, staying in a six-room suite last used by Prince William and Kate Middleton on their wedding night. The newlyweds, now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, had a brief, private meeting with the Obamas Tuesday before the palace arrival ceremony, but will not attend a lavish banquet being held in the Obamas' honor Tuesday night.
The Obamas were to lunch privately with the queen........
The president and first lady began the day greeted by Prince Charles and his wife Camilla.......

Breaking News From FOX: We are about to hear that Sarah Palin will not be running for POTUS and will be staying with FOX in 3, 2, (you are on the air Sarah)
Next scene is Roger Ailes watching a special broadcast From Wasilla and Ailes is screaming out: But but but she told me she was leaving FOX to run for president! Somebody go to Wasilla and get me my camera and satelite dish back... we are puling a McCain.... turn off the lights and unplug her microphone!
Having had a close friend's family member recently suffer a gunshot wound to the head, and the amazing resilliance of a human being to fight for his life is a sight to behold.
The smallest,insignificant thing we take for granted, is a major milestone for him.
I have a new found respect for Gabby Gifford and the long struggle to recover. She's courageous, strong, and a living miracle.
And Sarah whines that she's a victim of blood libel. The woman has no conscience whatsoever.

"Dropzone Bill", and all the other weird characters in camouflage clothing, loaded with weapons, using their special jargon. What happened? Isn't Dropzone gone now? Federal Witness Program? Or a nice, safe jail cell? But I suspect she still has a cadre of silent, stupid men who want to be heroes, who would gun down a child or set fire to an occupied dwelling if she asked. No training. Just violence.
Grisly Mama's reaction to the Giffords shooting was SO effing bizarre, yet it completely obscured the fact that it was the SECOND time she'd helped to foment violence against a politician.
Back in early November of '08, the Secret Service stated publicly that her hateful campaign rhetoric was directly related to Obama starting to receive death threats.
We have SO many REALLY horrible crises in this country ...
The first person to go steal Palin's broom and douse her with a bucket of water wins a First Class, one-way ticket to Kansas on lovely Ruby Slipper Airlines. (Their slogan: "3 Taps to Topeka !")
Sarah claims to be a Christian, but everything she spews is tainted in hate and she excites her violent base. It is like Sarah is the anti-christ.
