Huckabee NOT running for President in 2012. Shocked, that's what I am, shocked!

From the Huffington Post:

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Saturday he will not run for the Republican presidential nomination, a significant development that removes one of the potential front-runners from contention and brings the slow-moving GOP primary process into sharper focus.

“All the factors say go, but my heart says no and that’s the decision I have made,” Huckabee said at the end of his hour-long weekly television program on Fox News.

No surprise there, pretty much everybody knew that Huckabee was not interested in leaving his cushy job at Fox News to mount a doomed campaign against Presidenet Obama, now the only question remaining is how long can Palin play the tease before she ultimately has to admit that she has no intention, and no hope, of ever taking on the man who makes the GOP look like a bunch of squalling ill-mannered toddlers.

“All the factors say go, but my heart says no and that’s the decision I have made,” Huckabee said.

    Translation:

"President Obama is totally unbeatable in 2012. In fact, if there was not a 2-term limit for the office of President, Barack Obama could win the next 4 or 5 terms easily. So, I'm not going to throw away millions of my own dollars on a wasted campaign."

  2. Huckleberry Hound is in love with money now; as it rolls in from Fox Snooze, his radio show, paid speeches, animated history lessons.

He paid $800,000 for a piece of property in Florida and is building a $2.2 million dollar mansion there. He didn't want to give all that up just to run and get beaten by Obama.

What he should have said, if he were an honest man, "My family does not want to have to explain all their bizarre behaviors, and I do not want to answer questions about WHY I destroyed government records and computer files before I left office" Here is another "family values, religious conservative" who in all honesty is NEITHER. No wonder he is popular with others like himself, FAKES.

  4. I have just finished Geofrrey Dunn's book. There were few surprises because I have been following the Alaska blogs since Palin arrived on the scene as a VP nominee.... If McCain's vetting committee and the MSM had shown as much tenacity as the Alaska bloggers have demonstrated, Sarah might well be a footnote on the long list for VP considerations.
Will Sarah run for president? If she were rational, the answer would be no. That being said, we know that she is incapable of being rational. Having read "The Lies of Sarah Palin" and "Game Change", I think she is hoping to be selected as a last minute pick. As been reported, she is always saying that if no one else will step up to the bat, she will be there. (or words to that effect, I need a translator when it comes to deciphering her word salad.) In her twisted, simple mind, I think that she believes that she is not only capable but deserves to be President. The Republicans don't want her but there is always the tea party. We all know that she is a spoiler if she does not get her way.

It is high time that Sarah shit or get off the pot. She's the only well known name out there in the GOP who hasn't yet

At least Huck is being honest as to why he's not pursuing the most powerful job in the land - he's enjoying his certain income and the status his television and radio program brings him (instead of being a serial POTUS a losing candidate.)

Sarah still won't come clean as to why she quit in the middle of her first statewide elected term of note and why she keeps teasing her supporters with her intentions. She wants people to show her the money.

She keeps dithering, being a professional wee-wee'd upper.

She paints herself in a corner, with her sage reasoning skills, "I would consider it if there is no one else running who represents the common sense principles our country needs to secure our children and grandchildren's futures," and emails in her own words confirm that she hates Newt Gingrich (and can't blame the LSM for misrepresenting her views by repeating her words verbatim,) this is already starting to be a rather fun Peeping Tom show for the country.

Sarah, keep your towel on (please,) we are watching.

Au contraire, me thinks that the loudest, most ill-mannered, brattiest of the "bunch of squalling ill-mannered toddlers" will throw her wig, er hat, into the ring.

After all dammit, she is SHE Who Will Not Be Ignored.

As a Democrat, I SO wish Pakin would announce her candidacy & get demolished in the GOP primary shenigans. But folks, she won't run (too much of a dollar-lovin', phony coward) & Fox already knows that. Like Huck, she's just in it for the far right grift.

On another topic, does anyone know what dark rumors Dunn alluded to as to why the Palin family left Sandpoint? I am only halfway through his book, but I assume he does not return to this...

Sorry - I meant the Heath family above -- why they left Sandpoint...

It's pretty pathetic when the frontrunner for president by one of the major parties is a guy who looks and sounds like Gomer Pyle and WASTED $$$ HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF $$$ erasing EVERYTHING from his state's hardrives when he left the governorship. Plus, we're talking about a "Christian" who got a camp counselor fired for saying something about HIS SON KILLING A DOG. Strangled the thing! Some of you -- especially the trolls -- will think this is made up. It's true. EVERY. Bit. Of. It. (Just like it's true that Cindy McCain fired the doctor who ratted her our for stealing prescription painkillers -- from her own charity). You'll think this is fake because despite the fact that Fatso Pyle has been the "leading contender" for the GOP for the last two years, the media, the lamestream media who claim is sooooooo liberal reported not a drop of this shit. Not. A. Drop.

Can you imagine if Malia Obama strangled a dog at camp, the shit that would hit the fan?

    ARGH!

Sorry, had to get that off my chest. I hate Huckabee.

I also think Sarah will run. You guys are thinking incorrectly. You think she won't run because she wants to keep making money...but she's already been allowed to steal money from a presidential campaign -- I kind of doubt that Todd's underwear were donated to charity, don't you? -- so why not do it again?

I have to say this, even though I posted two other comments about this:

If Hick really isn't running because of money, then it just goes to show how financially retarded Republicans are. Sure, on Fox he might make a $1 million a year, or so, and he has a bunch of sleazy businesses as part of his "empire" of fauxtian businesses, and the presidency is a paycut....but after that eight years of making half a million dollars, (without any expenses by the way, half a million dollars a year with almost no expenses) you are virtually guaranteed more than $10 million a year...So...he's an idiot. Just like we all knew.

If Palin doesn't run now, the Palinbots will be crushed. If she runs, she'll lose in a landslide, and they'll be crushed. Either way, her mindless followers will soon be under the bus, along with everything and everyone else Palin has touched. I still think she won't run. She's chickenshit, a coward, an embarrassment to real Alaskans and real Americans..

Now, if only Palin would listen when God is yelling at her to stay home, and tend to her delinquent family.

  15. That's the final nail in the Republican's coffin. Huck was the only one with a shot at beating Obama.
He could be just crazy enough to win the primary and then totally shift in the general election to be somewhere left of Obama but right of Reagan. He could use Rand Paul's law, "Just because I campaigned on it and gave speeches about it doesn't mean I supported it."
Doing that he could have given Obama a run for his $1 billion campaign. Now the only question is will Romney manage to do better than Mondale did in '84?

She's crazy and self-destructive. She has an intense need for attention.

Of course she will "run"... for about ten minutes, before she quits.

I have listened to snipits of him on the radio and he is NOT very chritian like...have heard him stretch the truth considerably. He never would have made it in the primary....same as Palin. And, he is a minister? Has gained a considerable amount of weight again too...not good self-control as to food and possibly booze?

Re 5:47 a.m. who asks "On another topic, does anyone know what dark rumors Dunn alluded to as to why the Palin [sic - Heath] family left Sandpoint? I am only halfway through his book, but I assume he does not return to this..."

I believe it had to do with the fact that Sally and Chuck Heath birthed their first child -- full-term -- six months after their wedding and that this wasn't cool behavior in small town Idaho in the early '60's.

Just more proof of the value of abstinence education. It didn't work for Sally; it didn't work for Sarah; it didn't work for Bristol, but hell maybe it will work for your child.

Sally and Chuck did not leave Sandpoint because she was pregnant. They were both good honest God fearing Christian folks. I know why they left, I was Sally's neighbor and she told me she had an over bite and was leaving town to get a medical procedure done in Alaska.

Sarah can handle the 3 am phone calls.

She managed to get Willow "Lindsay Lohan" Palin out of trouble with only a speeding citation.

The last 3 am phone Sarah got regarding Willow was dropped after some serious negotiations and she was never charged with breaking and entering.

Is it true that Willow got a speed ticket on her way to get the "Morning After Pill"?

Or was it the "Lunch After Pill"?
