Jon Stewart DESTROYS Bill O'Reilly in debate over White House poet controversy.

Part One.

Part Two.

Is it possible that O'Reilly thinks he won this debate?

Cause he didn't!

Sadly, Stewart and O'Reilly have more in common with each other than they do with you or me.

Happily, Stewart at least has a sense of perspective and morality.

Stewart let too much slide like how Fox is fair and balanced on racial issues and how they did support Common before he was invited to the WH.

Poor Jon, you can tell he is just disgusted with Bill and Faux news, they aren't worth his time, that this whole thing is just a joke, but he has to sit through this bull shit for the ratings, because he knows it is TV Gold. Bill is still the same asshole he always is and continues to allow Jon to prove it. Good Job Jon.

  4. Thanks for that, Gryphen! O'Reilly is such a racist!!! Did you notice the emphasis he placed on the word BLACK every time he said it as though BLACK people shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the WHITE House? This was further reinforced when Stewart listed the musicians (white, all)who have been to the White House and O'Reilly didn't have a problem with any of them. Sometimes I think it all comes down to race. "Take the White House Back!"...indeed, from whom???

  5. That. Was. Beautiful. The only thing I wish is that Stewart should have brought up Ted Nugent. I know he brought him up the other night, but to actually say it in front of O'Reilly may have had even a better punch. (Or, maybe Stewart did bring him up, and the Fox clowns edited it out)

And yes, Bill O'Reilly believes he won.

I can't wait to see what Stewart will say tonight on his show about this interview.

Selective outrage to fit the narrative they want to direct. . .YES, that is what the whole 2008 - 2010 election cycle was based on (okay, it happens every cycle) but we have brave and intelligent folks like Edward R. Murrow, Woodward & Bernstein, Wikileaks and Jon Stewart to call them out on it.

Bill'O embarrassed himself with trying to draw the line of distinction of what constitutes as art, the freedom to believe in someone's innocence, and the gall to say that someone's resume has to be put in front of the POTUS and be vetted before being allowed in the White House - this is a party that wanted John McCain and Sarah Palin IN the White House. . .Blackwater (now Xe,) Halliburton, BP and Wall Street execs can sup in there anytime they want, but an obscure artist can't?

Thank you Bill and FOX Nation for continuing to exemplify what your brand of conservatism relies on, the inherent racism of philistines.

He brings up Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright again? Fox News is the apparatus of diverse opinions? OMG.

Guess what, Common at the White House was NOT a controversy. Even if anyone noticed, no one cared. "Consistent," rather than "selective" outrage is right.

    Levittown Represent! : )

Bill says that Jon takes cheap shots, now that, is the pot calling the kettle black.

At least Jon can back it up, Bill just shuts his guests down with a flippant and disgusted hand gesture and shouting.

    Jon owned his ass.

  10. If Bill listened he'd know he lost, but he only talks over people, he doesn't listen to them, so how would he know?

It's also nice to know that they haven't given up on the Bill Ayers "connection" (eye roll).

Jon is the man! He basically boxed Billo into a corner that he couldnt get out of and Billo's comeback? The Rev. Wright and Bill Ayres! That's all they have folks!

BTW...loved Daily and Colbert last night with the Ted Nugent appearance on Huckabee. That was brilliant!

    Sheesh

Watching the clips make me Hate O'Reilly even more. O'Reilly is a Racist prick and so are the all the other commentators on Fox.

What pissed me off further, is O'Reilly demonizing Common. As I've said before, Common is a good man and one of the best socially conscious rappers out there. His mother is an educator and his father is former basketball player. Common also received an academic scholarship to attend college.

I wish Jon would have mentioned Common's background, but I'm happy about Jon's cunning way of pointed out the obvious and that is Fox Network is racist.

He didn't talk about Easy E and Bush, and he didn't talk about Fox News' praise of Common before this controversy

  14. Just can't watch it, Gryphen. And, yes, I imagine O'Reilly thinks he won. His ego wouldn't let him think otherwise. What a disgusting man.

O'Reilly is a pompous ass! With the ratings for Limbaugh and Beck's radio shows dropping, perhaps they will too at Fox! I hope so.

Met another person yesterday that only watches Fox and hates President Obama (although she didn't refer to him respecitvely!). I countered her statements with facts and she just spewed what she hears/sees on Fox. God help our nation!!! She made me sick to my stomach and felt she was as correct in her statements as did I!

Since O'Reilly is unconstrained by mere facts, the entire concept of "winning a debate" is silly. It isn't possible to have an adult debate when either side refuses facts.

He didn't bring up that Sarah pals around with attempted cop killers and domestic terrorists, i.e Schafer Cox or that her family is best friends with a deranged murderer, i.e. Morlocks!

You will notice Jon was very deliberate, polite and thoughtful in the way that he approached this. It is why he always looks like the classy guy in an argument. Bill has to interrupt, talk loudly and act indignant and incredulous all the time that Jon is slowly and methodically picking apart Fox News.

Ummmmm, are you guys retarded. I suspect you're immature. Stewart looked like the IDIOT that he is. O'reilly handed Stewart his ass in front of a million people. You stupid fucks are gonna support the racist ass COMMON (perfect name BTW.....common=Simpleton). Too bad for you guys the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of the citizens of this country aren't as stupid as you guys. The RADICAL, RACIST & Chief (i.e. ODINGA) is going to get his ASS handed to him on a silver-platter come 2012. WATCH AND SEE. Plus, I'd be willing to take bets.......give you 4 to odds as well. Curious George is TOAST.

Hey, who let the Klansman in? Anon @ 9:17 simply proves how ignorant, mean, ignorant, fearful, ignorant, racist, and profoundly ignorant teabaggers are.

I actually find it hilarious that the bigoted teabagger tactic du jour is to reflexively call Common, Obama, all Dems, and liberals "racists." They don't seem to realize how incomparably moronic such claims are. In their eyes, "racist" is just a bad name to call someone you don't like. To the rest of us, "racist" labels you among the least intelligent and most loathsome miscreants which lurk in our nation's darkest corners.

He even trots out the good ol' cracker "Curious George" jab just in case we doubted his KKK bona fides.

Hey, shithead: I'll take you up on your 4:1 odds that your team of simpering morons will beat PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES (you just hate that, don't you). But who are you kidding? Cockroach that you are, you'll skulk around in the dark, anonymously slinging the occasional turd over the transom while you run for the cover of darkness again.

You are are just another dumb cousin fuck knuckle dragging racist moron who blames all your troubles on the black man. You are simply a profoundly fearful and ignorant clod who isn't man enough to take responsibility for your own life. You are an embittered disaffected loser and always will be.

Fuck you and the racist cousin you rode in on.

I'm not sure what planet you're on, but it was clear, by the examples Stewart gave, that he was more prepared, and was able to prove his point that the Common issue is a non-issue. And that Fox News needs to be consistent in their attacks, and they aren't. Fox will always attack Obaama, no matter what he does.

I have to give O'Reilly a teensy bit of credit though, for a moment when he really let Stewart speak. O'Reilly didn't talk over him, he didn't shout, he shut up and let Stewart make his point, and I found it very unusual. It goes to show the respect O'Reilly has for Stewart, and it what made this debate between them fun to watch.

I get the feeling these two guys genuinely like each other, although they are on opposite sides of the political spectrum. And the fact both men will go on each others' shows to have good discussions.

Since you've obviously been hiding in your parents' basement for the last few years, I'll clue you in - the majority of people voted in Obama as Pres. And exactly as you fear, it is going to happen again in 2012.

My friend and I used to ponder the age old question - do stupid people know they are stupid? Reading your post provides the answer - no. You are so low IQ that you are incapable of realizing that the one thing that Jon Stewart is, is smart. You can argue with his politics, but there is no argument that he is intelligent. I realize you can't see it, but O'Reilly isn't intellectually capable of handing Jon his ass.

As for the fake Common debate, you need to let that go - esp after he was accepted by Fox News in the past. And esp. after I watched the alleged christian Huckabee sing along with Ted Nugent about how they were going to go out and stroke some pussy - I mean, how is that family value thing working for you guys?

You, and the people like you that watch Fox are simply racist. Enjoy the titled - your minds work overtime to stay in that zone. But the mmajority of Americans have moved past that, evidenced by voting in Obama, and are content to continue on without your input.

It sucks to be so irrelevant, but that is why you are relegated to merely bleating on hit and run blog posts. Even Sarah Palin has been benched to that status of late - she isn't mentioned other than as a punchline, and only communicates by hit and run FB or twitter posts.

Irrelevant people, all of you who are now the new minority.

Mr/Ms 9:17 reminds me of the morons I hear who post about how stupid Obama is because they just listened to one of his speeches and "can't understand a word he says."

And they really believe that their inability to understand what is being said to them actually means that Obama is the stupid one, when in reality it just points out that, yes, in fact, they are really are too stupid to understand very much, if anything, that the rest of the world tries to say.

Is this the uneducated Rebecca Mansour/Tammy Bruce tag team that sniffs Sarah's chit and like paid dutiful little retarded trolls that they are just had to spew some more racist hate because they are jealous and not as successful as John Stewart, Common, or President Obama.

Yikes, you man girls are really boring but thanks for getting trapped by Gryphen in those big ole rat traps he uses. Better run right home and wash off your own stink.

    *sigh*

I knew it. There was editing. At least O'Reilly's show showed that part. But the rest of Fux....They can give it, they just can't take it, because then they have to admit they're wrong. Oh, and that can NEVER happen.

Just had to read the comments because I knew a fox feltcher would crawl out of the cesspool, and I was right!
Johnny Cash was at the White House when a white dude was president, there's a guy who spent time in jail and wrote hate lyrics, Fox was fine with that.
Obama follows detante etiquette and bows to another leader, Fox goes nutzo. GWB walks hand in hand with a Saudi Prince, even kisses the dude.... crickets chirping at Fox. Shrub's Dad throws up on Japan's leaders shoes, crickets chirping at fox.
They just can't stop the guilt by association excuse for racism, bill ayers and rev Wright.... give me a break.

Stuart won this, Billo won't realize it because his ears are clogged with santorum.

    Great Post!
