Keith Olbermann predicts John Boehner might be at the center of the NEXT political sex scandal.
(Video courtesy of Mediaite)
Just in case you are not aware of the scandal that Olbermann is eluding to, you can simply visit the National Enquirer to learn more.
Oh and this one involves ACTUAL sex.
Gee I wonder how quickly the GOP will call for Boehner's resignation when THIS starts receiving national attention..
Yeah, don't hold your breath.

No, the GOP will not chastise Boehner at all. He'll just use the Newt excuse: "I was working so hard for the American people that I just had to be unfaithful to my wife."
ReplyDeleteI give him about the same free pass that Vitter got, as in, he is NOT responsible, it was all the fault of the libruls who hate free speech and guns.
ReplyDeletealluding....not eluding
ReplyDeleteInteresting prediction. Was he predicting what he's going to cover on his new show?
ReplyDeleteThere is bad news for Boehner if he's done anything sexually scandalous. Look what Billo The Clown had to say about Senator David Vitter-Republican LA and self admitted prostitute patronizer.
In the wake of Rep. Anthony Weiner’s (D-NY) resignation brought on by an online sexting scandal, Bill O’Reilly said that Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) — who years ago confessed to hiring prostitutes — should leave Congress.
“I don’t think Vitter should be there,” the Fox anchor told Alan Colmes. “Absolutely not.”

Two video links at Raw Story:
Watch O’Reilly say Vitter should not be in Congress
Watch O’Reilly say Vitter’s (and Bill Clinton’s) transgressions were worse than Weiner’s
No more sympathy from the Loofah and Falafel guy for Republican sexcapades? Rut roh.
Well, Big John. You know I might think in normal times he would get a free pass. BUT, if NYT does an article it'll go viral and I want to hear the calls for his removal as loud as they were for Weiner. Let's see...... Weiner sexted his weiner, John sounds like he did a personal delivery of his. Which is the greater mess? Weiner you say?
ReplyDeleteOh BTW - don't think for one micro-second Jon Stewart won't be ALL over this if NYT does a story. Weiner is a close friend and he bent over backwards to cover it so if NYT does a credible story you better believe JS, SC, LOD, RM and KO will crucify him. Try to get the MSM to ignore that. The only thing that saves the Boner from this is if NYT backs off or large, very large amounts of money are dumped on the two women in question. If they stonewall or deny then there's nothing. Let's hear it for men and their weiner's
The left doesn't have a 'Breitbart' who will go after these guys....or Palin...and get the media coverage going. The NE article ran in Feb. Is the NYT still 'working' on the story or has it fizzled? Does the Republican Party scare women into remaining silent?
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean someone would cover Babygate if we could spin it as a sex scandal?
ReplyDelete"Palin Forced to Fake Pregnancy when No Men Would Have Sex with Her"
or "No Live Men," to spin a little necrophilia.
Probably won't work. Todd's for-real sex scandal doesn't seem to get covered, except by us.
They better treat Sarah the same way they treated Weiner once her sex scandal breaks because she is a tough broad and always saying she has the cajones and all. Not only did she have multiple affairs but she helped cover up a sex ring. Otherwise, I am calling sexism, and I am a woman.
ReplyDeleteI'll look in a minute, but is it the babe in the white suit who pats him on the back after he speaks to reporters? She also follows him.
ReplyDeleteOoooo yummy!
ReplyDeleteFat chance - the republicans are held to a different standard.
ReplyDeleteDamn, these men got to get different names!!
ReplyDeletehope the MSM has as much fun with Boner as they have with Weiner.
KEEP IT ZIPPED BOYS
JUST KEEP IT ZIPPED
are there any Johnson's in Washington? We know the town if full of dicks!
Republicans will back Boehner 100%. At least in public. Republicans circle the wagons when one of their own steps in a pile of shit. Democrats scatter like cockroaches from light when on of their members is involved in a scandal.
ReplyDeleteHow long before the American people get immune to this? The ex gov makes penis jokes. We have to be on the edge of losing our innocence and shock to sex scandals.
ReplyDelete(o.0)
ReplyDeleteWiener, Boehner... am I sensing a theme here? ;-)
What happened to Shailey's blog?
ReplyDelete"Republicans will back Boehner 100%. At least in public."
ReplyDeleteUmm, no, not always. Bob Livingston, who was in line to succeed Newt as Speaker resigned when his affair came to light.
And Boehner has a problem in that he has a very ambitious House Majority Leader -- Eric Cantor -- who really wants the Speaker's gavel. If not for himself, then for someone he can draw the strings on, as Tom DeLay did for Denny Hastert.
Boehner is not secure in his position at all. If there's a weakness to be exploited, even if it's just a whisper campaign, Cantor and the Teahadists will take him down.
Absolute bull that Republicans are loyal and will protect him. They will be under the exact same pressure as the Dems were if this becomes confirmed, and public, knowledge.
ReplyDeleteEspecially in the wake of the Weiner deal. The GOP will be well aware that people will look at them as hypocrites if they condone his behavior.
If he lies about it, even worse.
Let's just see.
My goodness but it will serve them right.
Anon @ 1:38, funny!
Much as I'd like to see this come to fruition, I watched the clip provided, and think that it could be taken as just a "tongue-in-cheek" pun sort of comment. The NE article is dated from Feb of this year, doesn't seem to have made much of an impact.
ReplyDelete"...ruggedly handsome..."
ReplyDeleteBoehner? Seriously? Orange man is ruggedly handsome? Must have been written by someone in love with Cal Trans.
I say, let's all tweet this little nugget.
Paylin for a Weiner Boner? Tripp if you have to, this is going to get Toddry in a bit! (I Bristle and my near puns!)
ReplyDeleteI have no inside knowledge of this, but how is that different from any other sex scandal to hit the NE? Including the Obama one? Fair question
ReplyDeleteThey gave Diaper Dave Vitter a standing ovation after he returned from his prostitution scandal. They preach "family values" they do not practice them, that is for democratic politicians. I can't wait for the boys to come out of the woodwork in the McConnell hidden life. Remember, he was dismissed from the army after 3 weeks for an "incident in the showers"
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows Boehner is banging a lobbyist. Just wait till people find out that Michelle Bachman is married to a homo. That will set the drapes on fire unless her highly paid consultants squash it quick.
ReplyDeleteThat's because the media will suppress and bury it. They will drown out the voices of the outraged calling for his resignation. And they'll be dismissed and ignored because they won't be Republicans. Republicans never resign and they don't call on their fellows to design. No matter what vile or criminal acts have been committed.
ReplyDeleteRuh roh...
ReplyDeleteThe National Enquirer brought down John Edwards, and it will probably bring down John Boehner.
ReplyDeleteAnd if there is any truth to a sex scandal involving Mr. Boehner, Democrats need to grow a spine and demand for Mr. Boehner's resignation.
This sounds to me like a couple of people who have agreed to live separate lives but remain married on paper. None of my business.
ReplyDeleteLucy.
I'm not sure if I feel the same about Weiner. Weiner put himself in a position to attract crazies and underage girls.
Anonymous @ 1:31pm -
ReplyDeleteGary Johnson, former New Mexico governor, is running for President, but he wants to legalize prostitution, so a sex scandal probably doesn't really hurt him.
I read a letter to the editor in the Times Union, Albany, NY that say at least Sarah Palin has no sex scandals - is that right?
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind that Nancy Pelosi and Obama were probably aware of the soon to be revealed Boehner Boner, and as a result had to call for Wiener's Weiner to be mustarded out of Congress, so they can get the Orange Boehner man out ASAP.
Ah Keith, what a sight for sore eyes and ears. I love Rachel, I really really do but Keith is such a comfort to a liberal like me.
ReplyDelete1:34:
ReplyDeleteYeah, no kidding. Hell, anyone who's anyone these days needs their own 'leaked' sex tape.
You wouldn't toy with me would you Gryphen? I really would like to see him brought down a peg or two.
ReplyDeleteIf Boehner's weiner is caught hanging out he will be in trouble. The Teahadist branch of the Rebiblican Party wants him gone.
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 1:38pm:
ReplyDeleteLMAO!
And no, the Rethugs will somehow make HIM out to be the victim, a la Missy. You know, he screwed around in the name of Patriotism, now all these awful libruls are hounding him for it.
If Boehner's weiner is caught hanging out he will be in trouble. The Teahadist branch of the Rebiblican Party wants him gone.
ReplyDelete$ister $ayruh will be first in line to throw the insults and demands at Boehner should scandal break.
ReplyDeleteI have thought for quite some time that he has a lover. Male or female, I am not sure yet.
ReplyDelete1:50
ReplyDeleteShailey's blog was there five minutes ago. She has two new posts up there.
The difference being that John Boehner would NEVER resign over something as stupid as a sex "scandal". Weiner's an idiot to be sure, but I sure as hell don't see how this affected his ability to do his job.
ReplyDelete2:29
ReplyDeleteNot even close. Attract crazies and underage girls? He didn't meet these women and have intercourse with them while married. "Open" marriage is not a Conservative position. Well, it might be but I'm voting that sexting is a lot less of an offense against a marriage than actually having intercourse with one or two other women.
Nice try but if that's the conservative position on it I call them out for hypocrites of the highest order
1:18
ReplyDeleteThe "left" doesn't have a Breitbart but they do have one very pissed off Jon Stewart. He had to trash a close friend - with good reason - you think he would soft pedal this if it pops like KO implied? You might remember how he shamed the conservatives over the First Responders? And don't kid yourself, his dismantling of Weiner was very impactful. He will tear Boner apart like a hungry jackal on a fresh kill. It won't be even a little pretty, and believe me he will bring up Weiner if the Repubs don't crucify him as well. That won't play to their Christian values crowd. Then if we can get Sara to condemn him and then Shailey to take Toad down, the world would be rid of two very dangerous people.
No, Bohner will pass the scrutiny just like Vitter and Sanford did and all the others before them.
ReplyDeleteRemember, If a RePukeliCon does it, it is all right - after all, it IS part of their 'family-values'! However, if a Dem does it, it is NOT OK - because the Dems do NOT have family-values! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
Boehner is not secure in his position at all. If there's a weakness to be exploited, even if it's just a whisper campaign, Cantor and the Teahadists will take him down.
ReplyDelete1:53 PM
As if the drunkeness and and crying are not weakness enough?
i love this blog because the important stories turn up here FIRST! love keith olbermann too.
ReplyDeleteI want to know if Boner is orange all over. Does the carpet match the drapes?
ReplyDeleteBoy I hope this is true because I would love to see him NOT representing my state. How he got elected is beyond me. It is embarrassing. Guess everyone has one in their state.
ReplyDeleteJust another republican pushing his wonderful values on us while he has none. Not surprising in the least.
Give me a break. A republican could be screwing nuns and children on the floor of the congress and the press would disregard it. It is called a double standard.
ReplyDeleteHe's a great cryer, all he'd have to do is play the "Jesus" card, say he's asked for forgiveness, it was a "youthful indiscretion" etc.
ReplyDeleteRepublican's just loooooooves when someone plays the "Jesus" card.
I'm not excusing the behavior, but I'll take Weiner over Boener anyday.
Billo is full of crap, he should have said these words, oh i don't know, when vitter returned to office to a standing ovation?
So great to see Keith again. I called my cable company to see about adding current to the line up, and they said they've gotten so many requests, they're getting it next week, and it's a free channel.
If Boner is involved in a sex scandal involving actual sex, he goes, no matter what. The GOP had the chutzpah to pressure Weiner all while coddling that diaper clad John, Vitter. If Boner has been involved in a real sex scandal, then by God either he resigns, is removed, or he is made the face of the GOP incompetence and corruption in 2012.
ReplyDeleteBoner really isn't that well liked within the GOP. If they hadn't taken the House in 2010, he would have been out as the top R in the House. If he gets caught up in a sex scandal, I don't see many within the GOP coming forcefully to his aid. They'll cut him loose.
However, you can damn well bet that the Dems, progressives especially, will be out for his sorry ass after losing Weiner.
That's the trade: a Boner for a Weiner.
Is Boehner's piece a lush too?
ReplyDeleteI would SO love to see Boehner taken down, especially by a sex scandal (eeew...brain bleach, please!).
ReplyDeleteOf course, those on the far right just have to shed a few tears (piece of cake for Boehner) and say they received forgiveness from the little baby Jeebus and all will be forgiven.
If this does break in the media, I hope it does soon, before the feeding frenzy over Anthony Weiner has died down, the better to contrast the two situations.
Greta Van Sustern on board the dump Vitter bus now, also, too.
ReplyDeletehttp://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/06/17/247833/foxs-greta-van-susteren-gop-needs-to-explain-why-they-give-vitter-a-pass/
Video clip.
Fox's Greta Van Susteren: GOP Needs To Explain "Why They Give Vitter A Pass"
"Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren criticizes the GOP’s embrace of Sen. David Vitter after he admitted to frequenting prostitutes. Watch it:"
Billo, Greta, Sarah might be next.
If these clowns are suddenly advocates of the GOP taking out the hypocrisy; then there must be something big and nasty coming out soon.
The National Ink-wirer page is dated February -- I sure won't hold my breath.
