Why we will NEVER find the smoking gun in the Sarah Palin e-mail dump.

Nice try Lamestream media, but everybody in the Parnell administration is my bitch!

From MSNBC Open Channel:

12:28 p.m. AT (4:28 p.m. ET): The analysts from Crivella West, which scanned and placed these 24,000 pieces of paper online for msnbc.com's searchable archive, say they've noticed something interesting in the way the state of Alaska withheld information from the Palin emails.

In all their big legal cases, the analysts said, they see discrepancies in the redactions, which is a fancy way of saying the hiding of information. Part of the text may be blanked out in one copy of an email, but the text will be revealed in another copy.

But in this Palin email release, after all the long delays and the insanity/hilarity of releasing emails in 250-pound bundles of bankers boxes, the redactions were entirely clean. If the state lawyers and the governors office hid something in one copy of an email, they hid it in every copy.

The analysts, who work on the biggest tort cases in the country, said they had never seen this level of care taken in blanking out information.

Which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was DEFINITELY much that Palin desperately did not want found in these e-mails, and which also explains why it took so incredibly long before they released them to the public.

However, like I said before, Frank Bailey has many of these e-mails in their unredacted form.

If he truly wants to pay penance for the things that he did while working with Palin, he MUST release those e-mails.  It is both the Christian, and patriotic, thing to do.

I've seen this comment in other places, and please forgive me if I'm just being redundant...but why can't we get Wikileaks involved here? Didn't they have a beef with Mrs. Palin anyway? How do we get them involved? I mean, if they can cause great gobs of top-secret, super-confidential government stuff to hit the wide, wide world of cyberspace, then why can't they help us out here? Just wonderin'...

It shouldn't be too hard to catch them red-handed having redacted info that shouldn't have been redacted. Just compare the text from the unredacted emails quoted in Baileys book with the copies provided by the administration. The two tell a very different story... The scrubbed version reads like a sequel to "Going Rogue" - they left in all the "gosh-golly-gee, aren't we wholesome?" and the "poor victimized Sarah" crap, but redacted all the nastiness and dirty politics that showed up in the originals. C'mon, mainstream media, call them out on this! It isn't rocket science to see through this little charade!

And people like John Bitney have some emails.

The Juneau Empire has a great story on the state's stone age process, with knuckle dragging neanderthals like Linda Perez and Sharon Leighow in charge.

Perez let Palin choose which of her private emails to send in- I bet they don't match up with what the state already had.

Also, Linda Perez claimed that state privacy concerns prohibited some emails from being released.

I guess she forgot that state policy is that state employees know they waive any right to privacy regarding electronic records.

I read the attached letter, unashamed with tears in my eyes. I am so appreciative that you would share it with me.

I agree our Father is so good! And I have absolutely no doubt that we can't even imagine the great things he has planned through the wonderful gift of Trig. Be encouraged :) it has already started. The world has already seen obedience to God's laws through you and Todd. Not common but so very needed. That alone is an immeasurable witness. Wow, the example to the youth of our state and I predict our country I God will use that obedience alone in a mighty way, but that is only the start. After seeing what has happened over the last few years I just can't wait to see all that is going to happen. Thank you Father in Jesus name for a wonderful boy named Trig. Thanks ahead of time for the blessings you have for him and the blessings he will bring to this world.

Ps. Mom sure hope I get to hold your new baby one of these days.

If there was an honest effort to prove to the citizens of the state of Alaska that they do have government officials that they can trust to do the peoples work, they would have had officials from both sides of the aisle, Democrats and Republicans, search the database, review the emails in its raw state and then produce the type of honest product the citizens of Alaska deserved.

When there was questions regarding voting ballots and hanging chads in Florida, the governor of that state did not dictate the rules or handpick the people of his party to oversee and review all ballots. They did not take the Alaska approach of the fox guarding the chicken coup.

All the government workers who worked for then Gov Palin and now Gov Parnell should not of been involved in this process. The people who had or have a relationship with the parties being reviewed have no business being the judge, jury and executioner.

This whole situation is just plain sad and at the same time it is hysterical knowing how the whole process took place.

Can you imagine a gambling casino in Nevada has the job of policing itself and making their own rules on how slot machine payouts are made? It does not work that way in Nevada, they have an independent gaming commission responsible for overseeing the casinos.

Did you really expect honesty here in Alaska?

Nope not in Alaska, the officials here hire the people who will eventually judge them.

    That’s Alaska for ya!

Maybe there will be a legal action to get those emails free in the future.

Frank...tell the truth about the 300+ redacted emails about Mat Maid. Money Laundering? Funneling money to 4 private dairymen? Setting up previous management to be the scapegoat for what Kristan Cole and gang did? How about the fact that Kristan Cole, chairwoman of the Creamery Board has refused to dissolve the corporation (Creamery Corp DBA Matanuska Maid Dairy) even though it has been closed for 3.5 years. She has sole access to the millions left in the account after the sale of the building. The new Palin dairy had taken a million $ equipment out of Mat Maid at closure and were supposed to pay $1900 lease a month. No payments were ever made. However, the lease had a balloon payment due in November of 2009. That lease magically "disappeared" without a penny ever changing hands. Cole knows that through the dissolution process that that lease will surface. She held full fiscal responsibility for the closure of Mat Maid and cannot explain why hundreds of thousands of dollars was never collected and redeposited into the Alaska Revolving Loan Fund. Grand theft in broad daylight. Many layers of government involved. Chairwoman of the Board, Franci Havemeister, Director of Ag, Several AAG's who resigned from this mess, Ed Fogels, DNR, Dick Lefebrve, DNR, Tom Irwin, DNR, Two Attorney Generals who did nothing, Sarah Palin and now Sean Parnell. Follow the money folks, huge story here of corruption that continues to this day. No accountability whatsoever.

Palin's new dairy is getting ready to have an emergency meeting in a few days to ask for yet another $300,000 in state funds. This will put them at approx a million dollars in loans. Two of the three dairy owners were previous dairy farmers who have already defaulted on over 4 million in dairy loans and are back at the trough for more. They also are asking to move into the old Mat Maid building in Palmer for $1 a month for 5 years. What PRIVATE business person would not want a sweetheart deal like this?

Follow the money folks, huge story here. Sean Parnell went to great lengths to hide over 300 emails regarding this corruption. That should tell you something right there. Come on Frank....release the emails you must have on this.

  15. I know it is just an analogy but I think your headline is wrong. What we won't find is a loaded pistol ready to fire - that's all been redacted of course.

But smoking gun? Absolutely. I don't know what anyone expects but I certainly didn't expect to find something that would instantly take Palin down. What we have found are a lot of the pieces of the puzzle which are going to lead to a "Unified Trig Theory" which of course is the Holy Grail of the Palin watchdoggers.

For me it is absolutely a smoking gun that there is no mention of any prenatal appointments for Mrs. 3rd Trimester Special Needs Pregnancy SuperGov. That omission speaks volumes.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anonymous12:21 AM

These e-mails serve only one purpose--to keep Palin in the headlines. The New York Times has a slobbering lovefest article about her today. They make her sound like Winston Churchill. She's never going away. She will be a thorn in the American side for the next three or four decades. Palin has the added protection of being white, which trumps everything else in American society. Slap her credentials on a black person and she wouldn't have lasted 2 seconds in the spotlight. This country is clearly sick and the media obsession over this crazy woman will never end. We're stuck with her and her lies.

    ReplyDelete
  17. And I wouldn't be surprised if he does. After all, once they are released, they're released. Is there any legal reason he would be compelled to redact his own e-mails to match those that Palin redacted? I don't think so.

I can see a whole other book in this. Showing her redacted e-mails and his originals and then discussing the redaction and the reason behind it.

    Juicy stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Heidi31:37 AM

No way is this over yet - not by a longshot. I forsee the major newspapers (at least one or two) demanding to see the blatantly self-serving redactions, assuming they have the money for legal fees and the integrity to do so. Joe McGinniss seems to feel otherwise, but I hope he's wrong.

You can't have an Alaskan "privacy" statute which applies only to government lackeys and their corrupt activities, yet allows them to purposely and willfully announce to the world the full names, addresses, and phone numbers of private citizens who dared to write emails to "governor(s)" Sarah & Todd Palin disagreeing with some of her/his policies.

We've been told by "Anon 4:32" ("shitfire") that Frank Bailey took on his own investigation of the Trig "birth", and does, in fact, know the whole truth. I found Anon 4:32 to be entirely credible. So, we have Frank Bailey, Dr. CBJ and other medical personnel, several 'insiders', and all the other people in Alaska (or Arizona) who were part of the 'redaction team' who are sitting on a huge pile of TRUTH.

What on God's green earth will it take for any one of these people to listen to their conscience and realize that their silence has our entire country's 235-year old democracy and heritage in their hands? What would Benjamin Franklin think of this fear? What would the men slaughtered on the beach at Normandy think of this frozen inaction? The silent ones are holding our country hostage to the outrage that is Sarah Palin! And most importantly, what would our Creator think?

Please, dear 'holders of the truth', don't let a 5'3" mentally ill, narcissistic, she-devil of a false prophet demagogue affect your ability to control your own heart.

Sarah Palin is destruction and evil personified; she's broken the back of our unified spirit, and done her best to decimate the strides women have made. She must be stopped. Please come forward, you credible people with the facts, and make it happen. 350,000,000 Americans will thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anonymous1:46 AM

Certain State of Alaska employees are still covering for Sarah's faulty behavior and they probably feel morally right in doing so. People are easily led into doing evil things when they think God is on their side. Look at the Germans who were ultimately ok with trying to exterminate all the Jewish and gay people that they could round up. The guards that led those poor souls to the gas chambers were just making room for more prisoners in the barracks. Foolish people can justify anything.

Sarah's ardent followers get sucked into doing horrible things on her behalf and they don't even realize their morality is being corrupted. These Christian soldiers need to stop, turn around, and start fighting their golden idol.

Frank Bailey is one of the lucky Palin-bots who is finding his way back from the abyss. He did less redacting to the emails in his book (Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin) and he didn't try to sanitize Sarah's unethical behavior. The Truth is setting him free.

Wish the media would follow Bailey's example.

Sheesh, maybe Sarah DOES use Piper as a "human shield". She is totally preoccupied with "tweaking" the schedule and travel auths so it looks like Piper has valid reason to be there.

I'd say it's because Piper is her youngest...except Trig is already 4 months old (officially- I think more like 6-9 months) so it's not that.

The smoking gun will come out and I believe soon. If the emails are redacted this heavily then it is crystal clear that Sarah Palin is trying to hide something and something big.

These redacted emails also put her behind the 8-ball. She can no longer demand transparency from our government or any other present or former government official, if she can't and won't be transparent about herself and her administration when she was governor of Alaska before she quit.

It appears yet again that the lame stream media will just accept everything again and bow down to Sarah Palin.

There is corruption everywhere but it appears that Alaska under the Palin and Parnell administration has gotten more corrupt than ever before.

The way they left unredacted the personal information of every critic, yet redacted the personal information of every friend of Palin reminds me of Hitler. These are deliberate tactics to intimidate and silence others. These are very sick people.

The way this has been handled it is obvious they are hiding the very information a FOIA request is meant to uncover. Alaskans have cause for a lawsuit. Remember Palin's well-known quote: I'll do whatever I want until a judge tells me I can't."

I actually think the excessive media interest in these emails works in Palin's favor. It's been clear since the delays started that the intent was to only share entirely sanitized info--in other words, we knew from day one these were likely to be pretty worthless. The media making such a circus out of analyzing them simply gives the Palinista's an opportunity to say 'nothing to see--told you so.' We know these are incomplete and we know that emails from her private accounts are not included. Her dishonest minions have had years to alter the content through redaction. The entire endeavor is a waste of time and the over-the-top attention given to it by our 'elite' MSM serves only to reinforce the mistaken idea that Palin is important to national interest. She isn't. She appeals to a small, ignorant minority who, in any sane era, would be shunned for the thoughtless nincompoops they are. Instead we reinforce the importance of their idolatry of her (how does that even fit with their supposed Christian belief?) by pretending every piece of crappola that comes out of her mouth or was produced by her hands is somehow terribly significant. This is actually kind of a sad testament to the current state of our politics and media.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Anonymous6:48 AM

The smoking gun is the release and the condition of the emails themselves.

Note how carefully Palin and her crew redacted anything even remotely connected to them, but managed to ADD the full name, address, and phone numbers of anyone sending in a negative email to the quitter governor.

They added this information with malice and forethought, knowing full well these people would be attacked by the members of the Palin crime family. They WANT them to be attacked.

My thoughts are Bailey is withholding the emails because there IS incriminating evidence in them... and he would be implicated.

He needs to approach a federal law enforcement agency to see if he can get immunity from prosecution.

Palin's cronies have covered her azz well. And Parnell was an active day-to-day participating member of her administration.

The redactation was so thorough, so complete that THAT in itself draws attention and is a big story unto itself.

What are they so desperate to hide?

I have been trying to keep tabs on the redacted sections. It appears to me that the redacted outstrips what was left. I smell a rat, and I think you are right about the preferential treatment.

Do we know the names of the people who did the redaction. Was SP consulted?.

In the end, I think most people will see the Sarah-in-charge image as false. (Just like that part of the movie where she flips the calendar and then picks it up.)

Instead they will conclude that this is a woman who was running the state of Alaska as her personal fiefdom using personal correspondence. No transparency there.

10:41, how do YOU think Wikileaks causes "great gobs of top-secret, super-confidential government stuff to hit the wide, wide world of cyberspace"?

Still stumped? OK, I'll help you out with a few leading questions:

    1. Do you think that "stuff" just magically appears on their servers?

    2. Or do you think maybe, just maybe, the government employees who have access to it on THEIR servers, provide it to Wikileaks?

    If you guessed #2, you're a winner.

Therefore to answer YOUR question -- "why can't we get Wikileaks involved here?" -- there is no "WE" about it unless somebody here has access to unredacted Palin emails and provides them to Wikileaks. Because those emails are not going to magically appear there. Unless and until somebody who has them GIVES them to Wikileaks, Wikileaks can't "help us out there" any more than you or I can.

I don't know about you but I'm not holding my breath.

They have ALREADY been caught red-handed, 10:45. And nobody cares. Sarah was a wonderfully engaged governor, move along, nothing to see here.

There is NO POINT in calling on the MSM do expose Sarah Palin. They will never do it any more than they exposed Bush, Cheney, or Rove.

Yes, pity poor Jeremy Morlock, 8:49! Looking for special treatment! If he didn't want to be stuck in the military he shouldn't have joined (or more likely put himself in a position to be forced to join). He's criminal trash.

There wasn't a damn thing Palin could do to shake him loose even if she wanted to. But we don't know that she didn't try. Absence of any other mention of him in the emails is no proof of anything now is it.

"The analysts, who work on the biggest tort cases in the country, said they had never seen this level of care taken in blanking out information."

I would go a step further; they also show patterns of 'placing' emails/replies where they think they may need them later.
Iow, when there was a 'problem' a handy email was sent at that time conveying a different
    'perspective'.
