Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

If only the Democrats in Washington were THIS determined to stand up for the American people against the Republicans and their corporate overlords.
They'd better GET determined and fast. The GOP is very busy behind the scenes stripping voting rights in WI, OH and elsewhere. Walker has gone so far as to require photo IDs and then close DMV offices in poor and Democratic areas so people cannot get them.
I was annoyed by the owner, presumably also the videographer, saying "no, gus, no" and then taking no further action when the dog continued with what he was doing
if you want a dog or a child or a person to ignore what you say, this is exactly the right way to teach them that your words have no consequences
if, on the other hand, you MEAN what you say, you escalate the signal until the signal is received - up to the point of physical restraint, if necessary
and if, on the third hand, you are amused by what the dog is doing, then let him do it WITHOUT telling him "no, gus, no"
Oh hell, we're like the other doggie just watching as Gus ruins everything!!
ReplyDeleteThat was hilarious! Especially when G managed to actually do it! Smart doggie. Can he run for Congress? Better than my Teabaggin' rep now!

ReplyDeleteWonderful video. That's persistence.
ReplyDeleteI love a good giggle early in the morning. Thanks! No Gus. Gus! NO!
ReplyDeleteGus is the tea party! It's mine, mine, mine. None for you!

I think the metaphor is simple enough for even the freshman Republicans to understand. At least I would hope so.
