The latest Palin family pregnancy makes it to Real Time.

“Sarah Palin in the news this week– became a grandmother again, or for the first time, who knows?” he joked, likely a reference to the conspiracy theories surrounding the birth of her fifth son Trig, though if alluding to that, this would be Palin’s “third” grandchild, so the joke didn’t exactly make sense. He clarified that the child was not Bristol’s, and then added exasperatedly, “do they not have condoms up there? When they say ‘don’t retreat, reload,’ they are not fucking around.” And, as no Palin bashing is complete without an intellect joke, he concluded, “If Bristol Palin really wanted to teach her family about abstinence, maybe the place to put that information wasn’t a book.”
By the way it is has been a week since I first reported that Britta was pregnant, and so far NOTHING from the Palin camp. It kind of makes you wonder if they really thought NOBODY was ever going to figure this out or not?

ReplyDeleteIt was even better later on. He brought up the new pregnancy during the panel discussion. He flat out said that Palin is a bad parent, and she's batting 0 for 2.
His New Rules was great too.
Gryph, I can't see the embed...but if this is the transcript of Bill M talking about it, it's incorrect. He said several times "she's 0 for 2". He also said the Palins must think "abstinence" means "no anal"...ha!

Gryph, I sure wish you'd do a post outlining your current theories on babygate! I think all, or most of us surmise that your old "source" who led you to be sure Trig wasn't Bristol/Levi's was Sadie...and I also think most of us are smart enough to know that things were hidden from her to such a degree that at the time she was telling you the truth as she knew it. With a little age and wisdom, Sadie has probably come to see that Levi COULD indeed hide something from her. I only say this because I think the reason you have avoided voicing your own theories is due to your not wanting her to look bad.
Regarding silence from Camp Palin on Britta's bun-
I have come to believe one HUNDRED percent that the baby shower pics were "leaked" on facebook on purpose. Sarah didn't want to have to make a formal announcement so she did it this way.
If a family member or friend had leaked truly private photos...I think we'd be seeing a manner of nasty tweets from the quitter queen. You KNOW how she loves to be a victim. If she felt those pics were stolen, she would have been cramming "what a shame! The unborn child of two private citizens is already being violated due to the haterz obsession with ME!!!" into 140 characters.
Another thought- I don't remember when you announced Track's engagement...but it wouldn't surprise me if it was at the point of pregnancy many women find out- 6 to 8 weeks.
Last issue:
I can find no evidence other than Sarah's word that a wedding actually took place. No marriage license equals no marriage, to me. Yes, Britta's father may have given some little ceremonial words concerning love and fidelity...but I really don't think they were legally married. And what's with the baby registry changing due dates by a month?
No diploma/school records for Sarah = no college degree
No birth certificate for Trig = no baby born to Sarah on 4/18/08
No marriage license issued to Track & Britta = no legal wedding
It is sorta sad now thinking about the pinup photos Sarah did for Newsweek. Perhaps the reason she is trying so hard to be seen as sexy by the public is her own personal drama of feeling old since her children are becoming parents themselves.

I wouldn't think anything of the silence from the Palin camp. They already said they were blessed with the marriage. I just think they're honoring the couple's wishes to remain on the DL. I mean, Britta's friends fbs are now MORE private. If they truly wanted to HIDE, there would have been no people mag article in May.

Familiar thinking to the Teaparty
Um, considering Britta's friends pages are more private and some photos were removed, I think the couple really does want to remain on the DL. I think the people mag was just to celebrate the union and wish them well and provide proof there's no shame, as there was with Bristol, given that Britta and Track are a serious couple.

The family is pretty private and enjoy their private time. As a politician Sarah counts on her natural upbeatness and charm (she is naturally friendly) but as a private citizen shes super chill.
Let's drop this B/T thing and just wish them well.
We all deep down know Bill Maher is an ass who doesn't deserve his public platform. There are far more legit comedians who actually respect people who deserve it.

ReplyDeleteLook, I could care less whether Britta and Track have been doing the nasty since middle school or not, but the fact remains that Track's family and probably Britta's pastor dad come to think of it, have made a living selling a false image , which is the exact opposite of what kind of trash they really are. I'm sure Britta is a very nice person who will make a wonderful mother, but how did she get a job as an executive secretary in the Governors office at 18? She lived with Bristol in the condo that faux abstinence built, and she now lives in the compound that Rupert Murdoch built. She's as much on the gravy train as the rest of the grifters. Don't fool yourselves. She's one of them, and I'm sure she's keeping as many secrets as any other enmeshed member of the Palin family. She doesn't get a pass.

It is funny Track and Britta have been dating all these years and she kept from getting pregnant. Isn't she a nursing student too who should know all about birth control? How come all of a sudden she comes up pregnant? Forgot her pills? Maybe Trig really belongs to her and Track.
ReplyDeleteIt kind of cracks me up ... my kids are almost exactly the same ages as Track and Bristol .. neither practice abstinence (but they know where Planned Parenthood is!) and neither are parents or were in any shape or form. They also both attend college which we can much less afford than the Palin clan! This family is a sad joke.

ReplyDeleteUnless Britta is keeping herself hidden away, ANYONE in alaska could have snapped a photo of that baby bump. So "leak" is not relevant.
ReplyDeleteFuthermore, once I was over 20, I would have laughed at the suggestion that my mother (or anyone's mother) could have any influence on whether I decided to have a baby. At that age, I accepted full responsibility for my body.
Unless Britta is mentally defective she CHOSE to be pregnant and CHOOSES to bear the child. Britta is perfectly capable of raising a child on her own. If Britta chooses to marry the father, good for her.
"choice" is what women want and Britta is making HER choices. And our opinions should be of zero interest to her.
Here's the problem in a nutshell:
ReplyDeleteSally and Chuck Heath got married and had a child 8 months later. Ditto for Sarah and Todd. Bristol never got married, and is making money from being an unwed (former) teen mother, now a mature 20 year old. Track and Britta will have a baby in August, following their May wedding. This is a family pattern, and it's the Palin/Heath family business if they want to have children without benefit of marriage, or if they rush into a marriage because the gal was pregnant.
This becomes an issue for public discussion when Sarah and Bristol lecture other people about how they should lead their lives. Do as I say, not as I did is some abstinence speech for Miss Bristol, who still insults the father of her child, and describes Tripp as a screaming two and a half year old always on her hip (not very loving).
The hypocrisy comes when Sarah and Bristol lecture others about family values while they remain very poor examples of real family values. For a family that is afraid of writers looking in their windows, stalkers and late night jokes, they manage to put their private lives in People Magazine for the right price.
"The family is pretty private" - lol! Sarah is so private that she violated her teenage daughter's privacy instead of her own to "prove" she gave birth to Trig. Some Mama Grizzly!

I am laughing at the comments that the Palin's are "private" people. I recall recently a PAC trumpeting and inviting people to follow a "family" vacation and certain wedding photos given to People magazine.

I think the photos were leaked by the Palin camp to kick up dust among the blogging community -- keep people talking about a "big story" that is, any way you slice it, a non-starter. Young adults put horses before carts ALL THE TIME. In Europe it's practically the norm in some circles: you live together for years, then get married when a baby is on the way. NOBODY really cares. Sure, Red State types are flaming hypocrites, and Blue State types can blast them for this, but so what. It just isn't a hot-button issue among Red State types - if anything it's a cornerstone of their provincial way of life.

ReplyDeleteBut this time, he didn't go far enough. Yeah, it was funny and factual, but he should have gone further, perhaps with a Glen Beckish chalkboard diagram of "Palin's Math Problems". Flow charts are not the Palin Gal's forte', since "flo" doesn't usually visit when one is pregnant.
I'm sure Maher will have more fun with Track and Britta once they cash in their "exclusive" interviews on fox news with Sarah beaming over baby Shailey, and their "Exclusive" interviews about choosing life with the Tabloids and Christian Media. MamaGriz MUST push her pro life creds each time one of her offspring reproduces.
A lesson for the Troll tards, Track and Britta are not on the "DL", because the "DL" is usually perpetrated by a closeted gay male in a heterosexual relationship, so two people of the opposite sex can't be on the "DL". So are you implying Track is Gay or Bi by your comments, if so, please give us the details.
Track and Britta aren't trying to hide anything, clearly the faux pre wedding mother's day photo announcing a non licensed wedding was done with their con$ent, and to make money, or they wouldn't have allowed that photo to be published in a magazine along with an explanation.
No one in the Palin family is off limits because SARAH herself foists them on the public every chance she gets.
