Gee, ya think?
Oddly enough this has inspired a number of journalists and political pundits to leap to her defense inferring that reporting on her migraines is sexist.
Which is interesting, since Michele Bachmann herself has blamed the migraines on her high heel shoes. Which, I am sure you will all agree, is in NO way sexist.
Anyhow in order to put the issue to rest Shelly got a note from her doctor, which essentially says she is excused from gym class but CAN run for
So there you go. Michele Bachmann's blinding headaches are NO reason she should not be considered a viable GOP candidate for the most important political office in the land. No really, her doctor said so.
Now can we get back to focusing on the more important things, like the fact that she is batshit crazy and that she has virtually NO understanding of American history please?
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann Hospitalized
ReplyDeleteShe's spending the weekend resting at home.

Woodbury, Minn. - Congresswoman Michele Bachmann was admitted to a Washington D.C. hospital on Friday with a sudden illness. According to a spokesperson for Bachmann, the congresswoman was treated and released the same day.
The spokesperson tells FOX 9 News that Bachmann returned to Minnesota and is resting in her Woodbury home this weekend.
The nature of her illness is not being released.
Although the Republican from Minnesota's Sixth District canceled a campaign stop in St. Louis for G.O.P. senate candidate Roy Blunt on Saturday, she was able to make an appearance via “Skype”.
Bachmann's spokesperson tells FOX 9 News that the congresswoman is "playing it by ear" for the next few days.

ReplyDeleteBachmann hospitalized, released, recuperating
ReplyDeletePublished Mon, Aug 2 2010 7:09 am
WASHINGTON — Michele Bachmann is recuperating back in her district today after being hospitalized Friday here in Washington.
"She had to head into the hospital on Friday, but went back to Minnesota on Saturday and has been taking it easy there this weekend," Bachmann spokesman Dave Dziok said. "She's doing really well now."
The illness scuttled Bachmann's planned weekend campaign trip to St. Louis for Missouri Senate hopeful Roy Blunt, but she was still able to appear via Skype.
Her trip had been criticized by some in the Tea Party, who say Blunt isn't sufficiently conservative. They argue she should instead favor state Sen. Chuck Purgason, who has been heavily backed by none other than Samuel "Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher.
Dziok declined to discuss what ailed her Friday, but emphasized that it's "nothing folks should worry about going forward."

Michele Bachmann's migraines: Just how incapacitating are they?
ReplyDelete...Bachmann’s migraines jumped into the news on Monday night, when The Daily Caller, a conservative online publication, released an article in which unnamed advisers said that the congresswoman experiences an average of one debilitating migraine a week. They also said she has been hospitalized at least three times for the condition.

Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and medical letters - A comparison
ReplyDeletehttp://palingates.blogspot.com

bachmann-and.html
Gryphen, I totally agree with you about Bachmann. She is a completely bat-shit crazy person! I'm almost embarassed to admit I live in MN, home of the teabag twins Bachmann and Bachmann-wannabe Tim Pawlenty. However, at least Bachmann isn't trying to hide her medical records like Queen Quitter did. I give her credit for putting her medical condition out in the open. My guess is that if Palin does run, we won't see any records from her, unless she pays CBJ enough money to come out of hiding to write another fictional medical report.
ReplyDeleteEven though I can't stand Bachmann, I'm not too sure if I like how there are attempts to bring her down this early. If Bachmann is brought down early, this will give Sarah a ray of hope.
ReplyDeleteIf Perry doesn't run and Bachmann is out, this will more than likely put Sarah in contention, although she will trail Mitt. For me, this puts her too close to the White House.
She's batshit crazy, but her LLM is legit. William and Mary offered an LLM in tax law until 1995, and their website includes a page about MB. There's so much that's wrong with her--don't discredit yourself by repeating misinformation.
ReplyDeleteI experienced migraines for many years before a medication I am on for something else stopped them (how's THAT for a happy side effect?!). I know how debilitating they can be and how stress can exacerbate both the frequency and severity. It appears from news reports that hers DO, in fact, have tremendous impact on her professional life and that should be a concern for voters.
ReplyDeleteHowever, in this particular case, her migraines are the LEAST of my concerns about possibly having Michele Bachmann elected as President of the United States. The woman is certifiably crazy and has radical religious views that should give anyone pause. Her frighteningly extreme views on many issues have been well documented and should be a much more valid reason for NEVER considering her for the position of POTUS.
OT. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/07/20/craig-christy-shawn-christy-sarah-palin_n_905287.html
ReplyDeleteMichelle has my sympathy with the migraines. They can be debilitating. Three hospitalizations is probably not significant; the big question would be day to day. That being said, the migraines are a side issue. The lady is unqualified for cognitive and psychological reasons even if she never had a migraine in her life.
ReplyDeleteBachmann’s Political Headache
ReplyDeleteWhen is a migraine more than a migraine? When the person afflicted is a leading presidential candidate who also happens to be a woman.
The same day she moved into first place for the first time in a national poll of Republican primary voters, Michele Bachmann faced a potentially game-changing story about her personal health. Coincidence? Who knows, but with success comes heightened scrutiny. She’s in the big leagues now.
In its explosive story, The Daily Caller described Bachmann’s migraines as weekly and incapacitating, requiring heavy medication and at least three hospitalizations. Google, finding certain keywords in the piece, helpfully placed an “ask the gynecologist” banner ad right above the headline—reinforcing the fact that migraines are usually a female problem. It was later replaced by “ask the neurologist”—not much better, especially since The Caller reported that the migraines were triggered by “stress, a busy schedule and anything going badly for Bachmann.” An unnamed adviser is quoted as saying, “When she gets ’em, frankly, she can’t function at all.”

Louis C.K. Regrets Harsh Comments About Sarah Palin (But Not Enough To Not Make A Few More)
ReplyDeleteLouis C.K. is one of the funniest comedians working today and his FX show Louie is one of the best comedies on air. I’m not even gonna put a “Columnist” tag on this post since that’s not opinion, that’s fact (ok, fine, it’s my opinion, but it’s pretty darn close to a fact). That doesn’t mean he’s perfect though. He can make mistakes and he’ll admit them. One such mistake? Getting drunk on a plane and Tweeting graphic insults about Sarah Palin just days before going on The Tonight Show and guesting alongside Bristol Palin. In an interview with GQ, C.K. describes why he regrets saying what he did.

HLN’s Dr. Drew Asks Bristol Palin If Sex With Levi Johnston Felt ‘Like Rape’
ReplyDeleteHLN’s Dr. Drew Pinsky interviews Bristol Palin tonight, and he presses her on the question of whether she consented to the sex that left her pregnant at 17. “It was a night that I look back on with the adult eyes that I have now,” Palin says. “And I just realize, that was so stupid. That was so stupid to lie to my Mom, to have those series of bad decisions I made all in one night.” About that night, Pinsky presses Palin on whether the sex was consensual, or, perhaps, date rape. Asking about Palin’s intoxication, he says “in California, that would be a rape. Is it the same in Alaska?”

Sarah Palin's eldest son, Track and his new wife Britta Hanson are having a baby. A Wasilla, Alaska, friend's Facebook page revealed the happy news by posting photos of expectant Hanson surrounded by baby gifts – it was tagged with numerous congratulations.
Track, a 22-year-old Army Reservist who plans to study at the University of Alaska after the commercial fishing season, married his high school sweetheart in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska, in May.

ReplyDeleteYou know, you keep mentioning the fake law degree. I followed the link & read the comments thread. I think the Kos post just gets it wrong, then leaps to the wrong conclusion. There's plenty of problems with MB, why don't we focus on the ones that are actually true. Doing otherwise just make US look bad.
ReplyDeleteGryphen says
ReplyDeleteAnyhow in order to put the issue to rest Shelly got a note from her doctor, which essentially says she is excused from gym class but CAN run for student body president.
As a former Physical Education teacher for 30 years with a masters in education and health I am insulted that you still use the term "gym class" Can't you think of another way to make your point.
Please don't tell me that I'm too sensitive about this. I think you are more educated than that.
Bachmann not only GETS migraines, but she GIVES them as well!
ReplyDeleteGryphen, I think you are wrong about the law degree as well.
ReplyDeleteIf you go to the diary at Daily Kos and read the comments, you'll see that a lot of commenters there point out that what degrees/programs William and Mary offer in 2011 might be different than what they offered in 1988.
She is listed on the William and Mary, notable alumni website.
http://www.wmalumni.com/?page=notable_alumni
Here's a law professor who has the same degree from William and Mary and the same year as Bachman. So the Daily Kos diary is most likely false.

Word on the street is that TPaw's campaign leaked the migraine story. There's also some rumors that Turdblossom himself is behind it, especially since it's looking more like Perry might run. He made one half-assed Texas governor president; why not go for a repeat?
ReplyDeleteAs for the high heels, Marcus will let her wear flats with the pantsuits, but NOT the dresses. Talk about your vicarious living...
You know what's sexist? Treating this woman with kid gloves like that other republican turd that ran for vp a couple of years ago and lost. If she's running for President, treat her like every other candidate.
ReplyDeleteAsk her for her medical records, examine her birth certificate, look in her closet for scandals. Vet her dammit! If she were a man, she'd be vetted. If she were a Dem, she'd be vetted on such a microscopic level that everyone she ever sat on a board with would be brought into the fray. Every preacher who preached in her church would be brought into it. Hell if she were a half black Dem, a team of people would visit the state of her birth in order to disprove she was even an American.
Look, I'm female (a registered republican female at that), I've had migraines in my past. They are rough. I couldn't even drive myself to work my low stress desk job when they were active so I doubt Shelly could be President of a country with millions of people if she suffers from frequent migraines. And unlike Shelly, my migraines while debilitating, never landed me in the hospital.
Her health is most certainly an issue. When one is applying for the job of President, every rock should be overturned and every closet should be looked into. If she doesn't like it, quit bitching and drop out of the race. These whiny republican women are an embarrassment to women as well as republicans.
Bachmann's note is just as deceptive as Palin's doctor's note.
ReplyDeleteBoth are designed to put a happy face on a situation without revealing much information.
And obviously, neither physician was given carte blanche by their patients
to go into great detail.
Bachmann's migraines sound severe enough
that they should disqualify her ( or anyone else with severe migraines ) from
running for President.
A President has to be on call 24 hours a day.
The president is under stress during all waking hours and in times of crisis,
they get little sleep.
Most migraines and the prescription drugs to treat them have serious side effects.
Including visual and cognitive impairment.
Many severe migraine patients
have to remain quiet in a darkened room , taking narcotic pain killers
for two to four days .
The country cannot have a Commander in Chief out of commission for days at a time.
Unless Bachman ( or any other presidential candidate with severe migraines ) would agree , should they become president ,
to invoke the Twenty -Fifth Amendment whenever the migraines struck.
The Vice President would then assume the presidential responsibilities.
The national media is always fooled by an official sounding letter
and they go away quietly without doing further investigation.
Especially when the women play the female card.
Shame on them.
Great laugh today: the Borowitz Report deals with Bachmann's headaches and quotes her as saying, "Its fine...I don't use my brain for weeks at a time, anyway."
ReplyDeleteThese clowns aren't funny anymore.
ReplyDeleteI don't think a letter from a doctor who treats the congress in general can in any way be called "releasing her medical records" Don't you think most of the congress have a personal physician that they trust to care for them? How would this doctor know anything unless MB tells him and I'm sure she doesn't want anybody to know if this condition is debilitating. I know a number of people who have the kind of migraines that take them out of commission, lying in a dark room suffering and NONE of them think the available drugs are much help.
ReplyDeleteCould this have been released by the Bachmann campaign as a way to get ahead of this issue, making it seem to be a sexist attack from a fellow republican? I was surprised at how many people on the left or moderates dismissed it as sexist where if it had come from the Democrats it would not so easily have been considered sexist. If so, we have underestimated MB & Co.
ReplyDeleteSaddam Hussein also suffered from lifelong headaches. Migraines have numerous causes, and can sometimes be evidence of serious underlying issues. When a migraine sufferer has a dictatorial instinct and seeks to rule over other people, but is not entirely honest about the migraines and also exhibits other serious psychological symptoms, the matter should be carefully scrutinized. The stress of the presidency is far too great for any person who needs frequent 'time outs'.
ReplyDeleteSee Saddam Hussein: A Political Biography.
http://books.google.com/books?id=pJcu5L72coUC&pg=PA125&lpg=PA125&dq=saddam+hussein+headaches&source=bl&ots=3OSba2siA3&sig=Ivr5c7hUtbvcGQg35T9npT54tEg&hl=en&ei=GXwoTu7ZF4-qsAP057mDCQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3&sqi=2&ved=0CCQQ6AEwAg#v=onepage&q=saddam%20hussein%20headaches&f=false
I'm much less worried by the headaches she has than the headaches she would cause.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter that if she were nominated she would lose. America needs intelligent political debate, not catchphrases, buzzwords and made-up "facts."
What a cluck! If your shoes are 'hurting' you, then get different and better shoes!
ReplyDeleteShe's so full of it.
M from MD
If this is all there was to this issue, then why the hell did Bachmann try to avoid it by having her security go all brownshirt on Brian Ross of ABC?
ReplyDeleteI suspect that her migraines are very severe and have required hospitalization. The doctor's letter alone does not put this issue to rest. She STILL needs to answer questions about this. If she wants to be president, she needs to be forthcoming about her medical history, not merely provide a note from her doctor.
As someone who suffers from migraines - albeit not as severe as Bachmann's - I do not consider migraines an obstacle to becoming president. However, I DO consider being evasive and dissembling about the condition a very HUGE obstacle to becoming president.
Bachamann is a moron, a homophobe, a xenophobe, a sanctimonious dominionist, and a liar. Irrespective of the migraines, she is not fit to be even considered for the White House.
Palins’ Baby Registry:
ReplyDeletehttp://gawker.com/5823312/is-this-the-palins-baby-registry
Stingy grandma/aunt, for all the $$$ they are making i am sure they can buy Target!
I think it is telling that it is apparently the Pawlenty campaign responsible for pushing the migraine meme. This means that the gloves are beginning to come off among the GOP POTUS wannabes. As one with high poll numbers, Bachmann should expect much more of this, especially from someone as desperate as Pawlenty to gain traction.
ReplyDeleteRemember, it is the GOP that gave us the quaint little political pastime of rat fucking your opponents.
Bachmann is merely the rat du jour.
Actually you missed the point Gryphen.
ReplyDeleteMB ex aid said he thought she had a drug adduction problem and many times become "shut down" for days. He indicated it was MORE than a migraine problem, kind of like when McCain had to sequester SP at his ranch and have her observed by a Dr.
So please lets not belittle the fact that someone stepped forward to warn others.
I hate to get all conspiratorial here but isnt this the same doctor that signed off on the screechy wretch's questionable birthings as well as certifying the Area 51 alien autopsies and providing expert DNA testimony for OJ's dream team defense lawyers? I could be wrong...
ReplyDeleteI dont wish the Congresswoman any ill health but i must admit she gives me a headache everytime i hear her speak.
Bachman had no idea of the negative press she would get in this campaign and I wouldn't be one bit surprised it is too much for her. Stress creates those headaches supposely.
ReplyDeleteOne thing is for sure, Sarah Palin would never survive the campaign trail...her negatives would even be far, far worse than what Bachman is experiencing.
Too much has been proven about Palin already that would be brought up AGAIN. And, much more research would be done on a national level about that last child not being hers.
Neither of these women would EVER beat President Obama! Bachman assuredy has more experience than Palin, but too much anti-gay stuff, religion and that creepy husband of hers will foul up her endeavors. Sarah's Todd isn't well regarded either!!!
Rep. Bachmann's migraines do not preclude her from serving, IMO.
ReplyDeleteWhat does preclude her is her association with Mat Staver, who she asked to teach the Tea Party classes on the Constitution.
Staver's group the Liberty Council is advocating the abolition of the current US Government, in part because of issues like Gay Marriage.
Where I come from we call that treason, or damn close to it, but then again, I never took one of Mr. Staver's Constitution classes.

LGBT Rights Activists Dress Like
ReplyDelete'Barbarians', Glitter Bachmann Clinic
A "barbarian horde" of LGBT-rights activists traveled to Marcus Bachmann's counseling center in Minnesota Thursday, chanted lyrics from a Lady Gaga song, demanded to see Bachmman and when he didn't show up, glittered the waiting room.
The group was led by the same LGBT-rights activist who glittered Newt Gingrich back in May.

And speaking of religious fanatics like Bachmann.
ReplyDeleteWe once again have the religious lunatic BigBoss PAYlin in a CLASSIC
take down of herself, on camera
wanting to give journalism lessons to all them thar lamestream meedjuh types, also too.
http://tinyurl.com/44udb3o
You can't make this up.
First, she brings up the fact that
she had to go to 5 schools to get her BA.
Then, as a punch line she says this
Quote:
"I want to help clean up the state that is so sorry today of journalism"
Sarah, did you ever study English in school? Why don't you learn to speak at a 10th grade level before descending from your high mountain top of christian supremacy to teach the unwashed masses.
Everyone knows that migraines for women over 35 are a polite way to decline sex with their husbands and to get the family to STFU.
ReplyDelete9:19 - Yes, she got her LLM from W&M, but her JD came from an Oral Roberts affiliate. I believe that's what G-man is referring to and believe me, if that's where she got her basic legal training (where she worked with a professor who was writing a book about how religious the founding fathers were) I would conclude her basic legal education was indeed limited and perhaps shaky.
ReplyDeleteYou can take prep courses to pass the bar and the threshold for passing the bar varies from state-to-state.
The LLM is an advanced degree commonly taken by those who want to go into tax law. Remember, she said her husband commanded her to be a tax attorney.
The education history of Michelle and her husband leaves a lot to be desired considering they got the bulk at it at rather low-rated religious-related colleges.
Ondansetron is an antiemetic (to treat nausea and vomiting).
ReplyDeleteNausea and vomiting often accompany severe migraines.
The drug may have value in the treatment of schizophrenia, as an adjunct to haloperidol.
Also - Early studies have also examined ondansetron as a possible treatment for psychosis resulting from advanced Parkinson's disease.
And - Ondansetron lowers the cravings for alcohol, especially in early-onset alcoholics.
It is also being used to treat irritable bowel syndrome.
I did not find any references - as yet - to treatment of migraines per se. I think it probably must be associated with the nausea and vomiting associated with severe migraines.
NOTE: Who says this doctor is the only doctor Michelle Bachmann has seen (outside of the referenced neurologist). Patients often don't tell everything to one doctor - particularly if she has one back home in MN, why would she depend upon this D.C. Dr. more than her hometown one.
My mother had debilitating migraines. I've had only a few, but our daughter takes after her grandmother - vomiting, out for a couple of days (light and sound sensitivity - the whole shebang).
If you don't take medication just at the right time, it doesn't make it magically disappear. In fact, it can have little or no effect.
Women who have regular migraines, even with known triggers (stress anyone?) know they can be struck down at any time.
If she wins the GOP/TP nomination, then everyone had better look carefully at the VP candidate because he or she will be the one who would take over when she is incapacitated (hours, days or whatever).
ReplyDeleteStress a trigger? OMG, she acts stressed-out all the time. She is hyper. Being married to Marcus might be enough - being commanded to this or that, regardless of her personal desires.
Belonging to an oppressive, anti-female, ultra-conservative sect of the Lutheran faith might also trigger stress - all the guilt, suppressed anger, fear, etc.
If her physical condition, as with any political candidate, interferes with their campaigning, then it is a legitimate issue.
ReplyDeleteSo now all we have to do if find out why Sarah keeps making and then breaking speaking a appearance engagements.
Physical problem Sarah, or just mental?
Has anybody checked out her "odd" behaviors with the waxing and waning of the moon? It could be she is just a garden variety lunatic and nothing more.
I can see if it were about PMS or something being sexist, but men get migraines, too.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! The migraine issue surfaces and within mere hours, Bachmann has been thoroughly examined by medical professionals and declared medically fit to run for the highest office in the land. Apparently they were able to find doctors who are also able to see far into the future to determine that her particular form of migraines will not be affected by a brightly lit, stress-inducing pressure-cooker position such as the presidency.
ReplyDeleteI envy her access to such prompt and concise medical treatment. Heck, it takes my doctor a week to ten days to analyze a urine specimen or read an x-ray.
Michele Bachmann is not authorized to practice law in MN.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mncourts.gov/mars/AttorneyDetail.aspx?id=0179863
Regarding fitness for duty as the President of the United States: she has "known trigger factors" which she "_can avoid_".
ReplyDeleteAlright then. What are those triggers?
Regardless of what they may be, there is very little of anything that I can think of, that a president can _avoid_.
But in fairness, disclose what those "triggers" are and let the public decide.
MB used those headaches to get out of Phys Ed class for one reason and one reason only: she didn't want to be naked in front of those other girls.
ReplyDeleteWhy, some of them could be lesbians, you know. They are everywhere and are just panting to get a glimpse of MB's naked ass.
That's her inner thought processes, I think. Homophobic to the core.
Then look what she married...
Y'all are overlooking the fact that it won't be a problem if Michele is incapacitated with migraines as POTUS. Marcus is the head of her household and she defers to him in everything, so he'd be the de facto president anyway if she were elected...perhaps a shadow governor, like Todd Palin. If she got migraines, Marcus would just have to operate without his hand puppet for a few days, that's all.
ReplyDeleteMichelle O'Bachmann has a legitimate question. She wants to know why her migraine is an issue when Sarah Palin with her mental issues, Un-Christian Like family issues, all the Palin whoring around and still Sarah was able to be McCain's vp pick?
ReplyDeleteMichelle wants to know does she have to wear a push up bra to get the GOP POTUS nomination?
Sarah Palin says she could teach members of the mainstream media a thing or two when it comes to producing quality reporting and news coverage……
ReplyDelete"I have a journalism degree," she says. "That is what I studied. I understand that this cornerstone of our democracy is a free press is sound journalism. I want to help them build back their reputation and allow Americans to be able to trust what it is that they're reporting."………..
"I want to help clean up the state that is so sorry today of journalism," she told network host Sean Hannity at the time. "I studied journalism -- who, what, where, when, and why -- of reporting. I will speak to reporters who still understand that cornerstone of our democracy, that expectation that the public has for truth to be reported. And then we get to decide our own opinion based on the facts reported to us."
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/07/21/sarah-palin-mainstream-media_n_905618.html
Sarah with your degree in journalism and you know how to report the “who, what, where, when, and why -- of reporting”…. tell us again your journalism attempt at reporting the events of Paul Revere’s ride so we get to decide our own opinion based on the facts reported to us by you, Sarah Palin."
Migraines are no laughing matter, but blaming them on wearing high heels, while always wearing high heels, sounds kind of stupid.
ReplyDeleteEven if they're a minor trigger for the migraines, one would think that not wearing them would be the prudent thing to do.
Oh wait, we're talking about batshit Bachmann here.
nevermind
Jonathan Karl on ABC World News declared
ReplyDeletethat her doctor had
" given her a clean bill of health."
Paylin might actually be right about the sorry state of journalism today.
Just wave a thin letter from a doctor in front of their eyes and it's like a cross to a vampire.
Karl and the others are so easy to roll.
The letter is important for what it doesn't say.
What are Bachmann's triggers ?
The Congressional doctor said her headaches were infrequent.
How would he know ?
Is he basing that on what Bachmann has told him ?
Obviously , he is not her primary care giver because he is not a neurologist .
What is the definition of infrequent ?
How long do her episodes last ?
We must assume that she has been worked up at the Mayo Clinic in Minn.
Why didn't those neurologists make public remarks about their patient ?
The auras should have been described in detail.
Some migraine sufferers have hallucinations ,
personality disturbances and loss of vision before the pain begins.
What pain medication does Bachmann take when the headaches begin ?
Bachmann's headaches and her symptoms were such that she had brain scans
to rule out a brain tumor or aneurysm.
This is not some simple headache that can be cured with an Advil.
I might have abridge Mr Karl and other gullible media types might be interested in purchasing.
What's her attendance record in Congress? Been absent much due to....headaches?
ReplyDeleteOndansetron or Zofran is also used for nausea in patients receiving Chemo..
ReplyDeleteI had recent back surgery and am taking it along with Percocet pain meds because they make me so nauseous.
She gets migraines once a WEEK? That seems really high to me. My little sis used to get fairly bad migraines about once a month. But she was always fine the next day. Can migraines really knock someone out for two or three days?
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure how migraines work in adult women. Sis stopped getting them after she reached puberty.
(I'm not trying to mock the actual sufferers of migraines here, I'm just saying this sounds a little fishy to me.)
As someone who has suffered migraines as a child, a teen, and even in adulthood, I wouldn't wish them on anyone. However, because of Bachmann's empathy-challenged, brain-dead, and morally bankrupt politics, I find it hard to feel sorry for a woman who is trying to benefit politically while helping to disenfranchise other women in the process.
ReplyDeleteMy theory is that she takes time off for cosmetic procedures - then calls the time off migraine-related.
ReplyDelete
