"Fair and balanced"...whatever.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of cowards! If your job is to report the news, then report the news, but then when was Fox News, you know, committed to reporting the truth?
ReplyDeleteI happened to watch a segment where they went ballistic on The First Lady, for endulging in a hamburger fries and soft drink. You'd have thought she committed a felony by how they kept harping on it.
Can't wait for the dumpster lid to crash on all their heads.
Jon Stewart, as usual, never ceases to amuse and bring out the obvious.
Hey, Murdoch! Can you spell "hypocrite?"
ReplyDeletei'm speechless -- i knew i made the right decision when i stopped watching the news after obama won...what a disgusting bunch of non-humans these thugs are, seriously makes me want to puke.
ReplyDeleteDo you think that Sean Hannity feels good about defending a man like Murdoch who, I am sure, would be embarrassed to consider Hannity a friend or even part of his social life. What jerks and fools these people are.
ReplyDeleteIt boggles my mind how those Fox "news" hypocrites can continue to do this and still sleep at night. I just hope their sleep is a little uneasy these days waiting for the hammer to fall on them.
ReplyDeleteThe best one was the Fox dude who tried to ask Rupe a question. Back up fast anyone?
ReplyDeleteWell, if that doesn't just beat all!
ReplyDeleteIf you think about it, FOX can't report on this story even if moved to do so, as Murdoch/News Corp is now officially under investigation in the US.
ReplyDeleteThe alleged "perp" really can't report on itself in an ongoing criminal investigation.
this is good......

I wonder if the "brain room" is still intact. Probably just moved to a different, undisclosed location.
ReplyDeleteThis whole scandal caused me to think about Joe McGuiness's post where he said what great friends he & Roger Ailes are. He's put enough out there to suggest that his book will reveal undisclosed and truly shocking information about Sarah.
I wonder if that information came directly from the "brain room." As much as I hate what they've been doing, it would be awesome if that information targeted Palin. She defied Roger on several occasions, most notably on the "blood libel" speech and no one defies him. He definitely has no love for her.
Hmmmm, I w o n d e r. Could we be so lucky?
I love Jon Stewart. He always nails it -- whether it's the right or the left doing something stupid.
ReplyDeleteThis should amuse your readers:

Jon's take on this is spot on!
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine what they'd say at Fox if this were an NPR or NBC criminal act?
On the other hand, they're making it so easy to attack them when
1.) they committed criminal acts
2.) they expect a mere apology to get them out of it and
3.)they expect real journalists to accept this as normal behavior.
It doesn't get a whole lot easier than this...except letting the Brits do our dirty work for us in bringing this smut machine down.
Its SO frustrating, thinking that as truth comes out, the ditto-heads who watch Fox News, will come around and see what's going on.
ReplyDeleteNo, they readily go along with the type of head in the sand thinking, shown by the reporters in Stewart's compilation...complaining that its all overblown, instead of realizing how they've been duped.
Same with warning them about what's going to happen to their personal economic situation, if their beloved Teabangers drive the nation's economy off the cliff they are currently racing towards.
You'd think THAT would wake them from their fogged in mindset...to learn whatever savings they have will wither, the cost of what they need will skyrocket, and many more jobs, (maybe THEIRS) will disappear.
All in a suicidal attempt to make OBAMA look bad!
Perfection. There is no one better than Jon Stewart to show the duplicity. What a sad state of journalism, but what a sad state of journalism when those getting to the real stories are those working for either Rolling Stone or Comedy Central.
ReplyDeleteIt is unfathomable given Palin's strong stance against hacking that she hasn't called out News Corp for what they've done. She sent a teenager to jail for guessing her password. Surely, she must feel real contempt for an organization that admittedly went after a dead girl's phone messages.
ReplyDeleteThis seems even worse than her duplicity when Rush called people retards, but it was perfectly acceptable when Rush did it. Rush and Rupie get passes!!
I love how some of the same dunderheads stating that the news shouldn't be focused on this, that we should be concentrating on economy are the same nitwits who couldn't drop the Anthony Weiner Tweeting story.
ReplyDeleteThis NOTW story is a big deal, there are indications of corruption leading all the way to the PM's office, and there are likely going to be revelations of hacking occurring here, and there should be prosecution under the Foreign Corrupt Practices act based upon what is already in evidence, though I'm not going to hold my breath on that.
Ha crap flick did not even make 1 thousand dollars yesterday.

You are a true COWARD for not allowing free speech on your site. Gryphen's "search for the truth" consists of only those points of view that consider him in a positive light.
ReplyDeleteYou are a LIAR and a LOSER. I've never seen someone so afraid of the truth. Sarah comes close but you're number one.
Their so-called reporting doesn't baffle me all that much. Their agenda is clear. What baffles me is that, not only do a lot people buy their shit, they lap it up too!
ReplyDeleteI sure wish you would take Phil the Monster off your blog roll, he is stinking the place up. He and Sarah both think they are perfect, he is an idiot too.
ReplyDeleteOT. I love Al Franken. He certainly nailed the gentleman from Focus on the Family!!!

ReplyDeleteIs that the asshat, Phil Mooger?
Well, I'm now waiting for a full explanation from Michelle Bachmann regarding her migraine headaches. Can she explain how one comes to have migraines? Is it genetic? In their DNA? It is preordained at birth? Or the result of some trauma? Can one pray the migraines away? Does "reparation therapy" work to cure migraines? New reports from former staffers say that she is non-functional when in the throes of a migraine. Even with the powerful anti-migraine drugs she has finally admitted to taking. What exactly are those drugs? I do hope that The Daily Show covers this in its usual snark-filled way. The latest on the Murdoch scandal was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteBeware of wolves like Phil Munger dressed in sheep's clothing. He is insanely jealous of Gryphen, palingates and Mudflats. I'd take him off my blogroll, he is scary.
ReplyDeleteWith friends like him, who needs enemies.
Ya know, the Palins are brilliant. They realized LONG AGO people weren't going to leave them alone no matter what they did (privately or publicly.)
ReplyDeleteAnd this was before non campaign related PR. During the campaign, it was unfair for them to receive more attention and not other kids. Right after the campaign Bristol TRIED to stay away from the spotlight. However, bloggers were hellbent on finding her and reporting EVERYTHING. I remember those intrusive, unnecessary posts. Sarah, like Obama, has never HIDDEN anything. She's never claimed perfection or a reality that isn't true. Yet there are people who feel the need to either exaggerate "non stories" or completely make shit up based on more nothing or based on a stupid rumor that is easily proven false.
Thing is, they're still out there for a reason. They are STRONG people who aren't stupid. They aren't blind to people's immature fawning or the media's superficiality.
More power to them. They are good people doing good in a growingly effed up world. If you'd listen and leave your prejudice and blind hatred at the door, you'd realize that.
Blogs are accustomed to manipulating people, hoping their subjects read their posts. That's a very sad life and creates a bleak future. It also makes the blogger NO better than whom he/she disdainfully writes about.
1:13 pm Ya know the palins are brilliant
ReplyDeleteHello Ivy Frye & Bristol Palin, you two are seriously messed up and need to get a life. Get a life that doesn't involve grifting and making chit up and also quit worshiping the quitter queen of stupidity. You two are losers and I am just laughing at your total ignorance. You two need to take a good look at yourself in the mirror, cause it is not pretty.
To 12:23...Michelle Bachmann is saying (and no I'm not kidding) her migraines are caused from wearing high heels. How Stupid is this woman?
