Welcome to the world Kyla Grace Palin! Update!

Mommy-to-be, Britta Palin, surrounded by Kayla's gifts from the baby shower.
This from the blog of Joe McGinniss:

Sarah Palin’s son Track and his new wife Britta became the proud parents of a baby girl, Kyla Grace Palin, last night.

I learned last summer that Joe has EXCELLENT sources, so if he says that this baby was born last night, you can bet that his information is correct.

Okay let's see, Track and Britta got married in May, and this wonderful bundle of joy is born in August, which is approximately three months later. WTF?

How is it that these Palin women have the fastest human gestation on the planet? Do ALL women in Wasilla get pregnant and give birth in only two or three months, or is that only the people in this family?

By the way here is the official announcement from Sarah Palin.

Update: Well it looks like Radar Online found somebody close to the family to confirm Joe's tip:

A source close to the family confirmed the arrival of the little girl to the young parents who were married just three months ago in May.

Just for the record let me say that I never had any doubt that McGinniss had the straight poop. He made a lot of good friends in Wasilla during his stay and he hears all kinds of things.  As you will all learn for yourselves when his book comes out in September.

You forgot to add Gryphen, that Britta was registered with Target with a due date of Aug 29.

Due dates for Palins are pure BS! Attempts to mislead in order that they can 'make up the facts'

Wonder how much they get from People Mag for the first pics or are the Palins pissed with People and with go to US or it might be InTouch. I can't remember who they're pissed at!!!!

The Announcement was in MAY 2011 when
GRANNY GRIFTER attempted to stave off the early PREGNANCY with a FAKE wedding. ABSTINENCE is just a WORD in the LYING GRIFTER FAMILY.

  7. Oh yeah, and my congratulations to the new parents. Somehow I just can't lump them in with the rest of the family, speedy pregnancy or not. They seem to try and stay out of all the phony family values muck. It can't be easy.

I hope there has been no announcement because Britta and Track put there foot down with Grandma Grifter and told her to keep out of their lives.

First the baby was due end of August, then they moved it to end of September, and now she comes at the beginning of August? Oh, well.
    Congratulations to the new parents...

I guess we haven't heard from Granny Grifter because she can’t admit that she is a triple (or quadruple) granny – it would be too devastating in her bots’ eyes to admit that she is a washed-up GRANDMOTHER, and not some sexy young chick!
Come to think of it, she hasn't announced her 'official first' grandchild, Tripp, either...

Wow, I'll bet being a Grandma again is about to push Scarah over the edge. She's really going to have to ramp up the crazy to distract from this. Also too, look for her to skank up her outfits so people forget she's a Granny.

    Haaaahaaa, good times.

Congratulations to the (very) young couple. Let's hope Britta eventually returns to school to finish her nursing degree instead of relying on tabloid and reality teevee money.

The Heath-Palins obviously aren't concerned, but I can't believe Britta's parents are thrilled at their daughter's choices (not that they aren't thrilled with the baby, herself).

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous9:32 AM

Well, they picked a nice name for this baby, At least it wasn't a weird name like revolver or rifle or volleyball?
    Thats is surprising? Ha ha.
And as far as gestation I'm from Wasilla and I had normal gestations don't paint all of us from Wasilla with such a broad brush. Really, come on.
The Palins don't have many admirers from here anymore and I never did care for them in the first place.
Anyway, Best Wishes for this baby girl.
Abstinence only, I don't think so!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Anonymous9:35 AM

Yes, first, Britta had the birth date as Aug. 29th, then it was changed to Sept 29th, and then the birth registry on Target disappeared altogether. Riiiiiight! Wink Wink!

I also too love the official announcement. :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anonymous9:41 AM

Congratulations to the new parents. Nice to see that they've given their baby girl a normal name.

The Palin worshippers will not be bothered one iota with another early delivery. It will only add to the positive picture they have of the clan. All the female members of the family who became pregnant before tying the knot elected to carry the baby to term. That is the bottom line with them.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anonymous9:42 AM

While that is a blessedly normal name, you can guarantee that they'll play up the divinity of her middle name, being "Grace."

    Bless the new family.

I'm sorry Mercede has brought up Track's drug use (but only for a second) since the Palin camp has never pulled any punches or laid off the Johnston's in the last three years.

Other than the damage control this inevitably brings, may this family remain out of the limelight and be more tasteful and quiet than the family Britta married into.

I truly hope that Track and Britta stay out of SP's evil orbit and focus on their own small family. I am glad to see that they picked a really pretty name for a probably really pretty little girl - Kyla Grace is lovely. May she have loving, caring parents who put her first - and may her maternal grandparents play a much larger role in her life than her paternal grandparent.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Anonymous9:48 AM

Kyla was born almost ten years to the day her paternal grandfather Curtis Menard died in that plane crash. I have a post about that tomorrow. Anyway congrats Track and Britta! Keep Kyla away from Sarah and Todd.

  43. Anonymous10:11 AM

A normal name? What's going on?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Anonymous10:12 AM

Actually 8:56...as soon as that Target registry was made public, Sarah told Britta to change the due date to September 29, that way the press wouldn't "hound her" so close to the birth. Britta did as Sarah asked even though she knows it's only in Sarah's mind that the press "hounds" her. (Britta)

I'm not sure what Joe and his Good Sources have to say about this aspect of things...but Track and Britta are not legally married. Yes, there was a ninety second "ceremony" performed...but there was no marriage license issued.

Britta could not even put "Britta Palin" on her baby registry because they told her if people bought items and had them held for Britta to pick up in-store (such as an out of state relative who couldn't make the shower) then the registry had to be in the same name as her photo ID in order to collect any items that had been purchased for her. And she can't get a "Britta Palin" driver license or state ID because you have to have a legal marriage license to initiate the name change.

I really have no idea why they did things this way. There's some reason they want people to think they are "legal".

    But make NO mistake...they aren't.

Congratulations to the happy couple and best wishes to the newborn. I think that the tricked out T-names only applied to boys: Todd, Track, Trig, Tripp, Thunder, Thumper, and Truck.

As for Britta, shall we make bets on her finishing her education, the same way that Bristol was going to college while Tripp was a baby-- or become a radio announcer-- or do any kind of meaningful work? For that matter, what does Track do for a living?

10:12...if your are a Wasillan in the know, then you have confirmed what most of us believed when that first ridiculous announcement and pictures were published by People Magazine in May. Quickie staged ceremony with everyone wearing polar fleece and jeans, wearing corsages torn off Britta's bouqet , with a statement that a wedding will be held in the winter. I called bullshit on that immediately. Sarah is so fucking stupid if she thinks people will fall for this ploy again.

Lynne, the cricket sound is intended to show a non-response, as in silence; all that is heard is the small sound of perhaps a cricket chirping.

Elizebeth, Family is not off topic since Sarah Palin has been using her family for as long as she has been in politics. She sent Track of to serve his country so she could use him as a talking point. Another Palin child, Track, has premarital sex and of course there's a preganancy. Hey Sarah how's that abstinence thing working out for ya? Not too great, well at least Track wasn't a teenager. You need to get your other kids to planned parenthood so they can learn how to prevent pregnancy. Cause either they aren't listening to you or else your just never spend any time with them. Regardless you don't really need another grand kid so soon, you're already looking really haggard and this is only going to make you look even older in the eyes of the public. The GOP wants a MILF they don't want or need a GMILF!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Anonymous11:49 AM

So let me get this straight.

    You're criticizing a family where:

All kids know the value of hard work and are expected to contribute

The oldest voluntarily joined the army after his hockey injury and now fishes and tags along with dad due to a shared snowsports hobby

The second child, the most tested, was faced with a pregnancy in the worst of circumstances yet hasn't let it kill her spirit. She keeps busy with her real estate projects and oppos that come up.

Middle child desperately trying to graduate early while keeping things light. Also, works F-T

4th child, normal 10 year old who attends school and stays active outside and with friends

5th child - loveable, adorable apple of everyones eye. Last seen grinning for the camera and being cuddled by family members.

    ----
To the contrary, you honor a family where:

One kid not only doesn't havee a HS degree, but shows no signs of getting one. He also shows no signs of seeking legit employment based on HIS merits. He hunts and camps a lot. Ha. As long as he's happy I guess

Second child loses friends due to her selfishness and vanity, constantly trashes people (not just almost inlaws) while lamenting that supposedly said inlaws trash her (though not publicly and I doubt privately). She too has been jobless for a year since graduation and insists its due to some vain, ridiculous reason. Yeah, ok.

You could write 1000 pages on the latter family's pathologies.

When is everyone here going to learn the truth instead of going with the flow?

    ReplyDelete
  91. Anonymous11:55 AM

    Anon @ 10:54 a.m.

Why is Track likeable and given a free pass with his bad boy days behind him when the Palin family constantly trash Levi and his family with the power of media behind them?

Why should this birthday be news to the public? Because the hypocrisy of the family. Sarah is a Family Values spokesmodel with an abysmal family values record - and her equally vile daughter Bristol has made quiet the career off of a bogus gig of preaching abstinence and being superior in sexual and child-rearing ways - meanwhile Track is engaging in premarital sex with his girlfriend, a girl that herself has ridden on the cronyism Palin gravy-train.

But we are told that as long as they are happy and have god on their side, we are all just miserable jealous haters.

No, it isn't that way. We just want the family to admit that they make mistakes, which is even an American thing to do. We aren't all exceptional and things don't always happen to plan or a good Christian playbook.

  92. Anonymous12:02 PM

there is no proof they were married - there is no proof this child was born to them.

just like everything Palin, you can not believe anything. Once a liar, always a liar.

This child could be 6 months old and Bristol's or it could be Willow's. She took a pregnancy test when Brie was on DWTS looking extremely pregnant again.

There was no wedding yet....or maybe there was.... Levi and Bristol were married when they were 16. Maybe it's the same kind of wedding.

    Whatever....

My naming suggestions were Rustoleum (boy), Swiffer (girl) and Pecan (indeterminate gender). If Gryphen's info is correct, it looks like they decided not to use my ideas. They didnt even like my gender neutral middle name suggestion: "4WD".

Every time this family conceives a baby - legit or otherwise - I get my hopes up that they'll use my naming suggestions and time after time after time after time after time after time after time after time they disappoint me.... When will I learn? When will I ever learn....

I know for a fact that the baby was born Saturday morning

    11:01 AM

it's obvious you know more than anyone else. The people reporting it state the baby was born last night, Sunday night.

As usual, there is no proof of a birth at all so really, the baby could be a new born to Track. OR it could be Bristol's child or Willow's child. Both were pregnant this past winter.

Willow's extreme weight gain was blamed on medication to keep her calm.

Bristol's 40 pound weight gain was explained as dental surgery.

I think I read once in a scientific paper that in many instances, abstinence results in incredibly short pregnancies. That is one more reason to follow the practice. You aren't inconvenienced for 9 months like you would be if you didn't practice abstinence.

So if Britta's Target registration showed a date of Aug. 29th, and if she had the baby last night, it either came prematurely, or she was trying to mislead.

I really hope that this young woman doesn't allow her MIL's deceptions to creep into her life. If she starts down that road, trying to mislead media and public because big momma says so, she's in for a long hard road.

I have no idea if Track is likeable or not. What I know is he doesn't seem to want to be in the media, and hasn't used the media like his sister.
I also know that being in the media glare, particularly because of someone else's behavior (his mother) makes it difficult to do lots of things - like start a new life. I think it's in all of our interests to do what we can, or not do what we can in this case, in order to facilitate Track's maturity - not work to make it more difficult for him.

RESPONSE: HUH? What high school kid, whose parents are rich, works full-time! Most college kids don't work full-time. Heck, most poor high school kids don't work full-time. There's good reason for high shcool kids not to work full-time.

Hmmm. I think she is only allowed to work outside of school hours. Assuming school gets out at 2 and she doesn't have to travel, she would be working 2-10. But maybe she works 16 hours on week-end - leaving her with 5 hours/day average to put in on school days. When exactly does she have time for her homework? sleep? a normal teenage social life?

You make a reasonable point - one I hadn't thought of - but I'm still thinking that here is a kid, from a mixed-up family, who has been used by his mixed-up mother, and who has not sought the publicity. His mother has, his sister has, but he hasn't. That's enough baggage. I say let him be until he asks for attention. It's the kind thing to do.

    keverdene @ArchGoodwin
Well, "served our country" is a relative term. He got forced into military service because it was either that or jail time for drugs charges. And he was discharged. Not dishonorably, but very, very quietly and with no explanation.

Also, his "wife" got a cushy job as an executive assistant to the governor... you know, the kind of job seasoned wonks vie for... about three days after she graduated high school, with no prior experience. And she made BANK doing it, too.

I'd argue there's a good reason to extend your disdain to any and all Palin family members.

  128. A reminder to folks who argue that we shouldn't discuss Track, he's a private person, etc.:

Track Palin and his wife either sold, or allowed to be sold, photos and details of their (alleged) wedding in May. See People Magazine: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20496049,00.html

Individuals who voluntarily expose and publicize their lives via a celebrity news rag have made an effort to be in the public spotlight and have chosen to be public figures. In addition, it's likely Track received substantial remuneration in exchange for that exposure.

Is this Sarah do anything to stay in the limelight or what?

Or is this just another "Magical pregnancy" story? Someone suggested that this is a cover story for Willow giving birth. That actually makes more sense then the preacher's daughter finally forcing Track to make an honest woman out of her three months before the "birth" of thier child. Absolutely! What bothers more than anything is Bristol received $264K, to teach abstinence "AFTER" already having conceived a child out of wedlock for I believe a year and a half (however long she was an ambassador for abstinence)!!! I have a very difficult time understanding that one. I've been abstinent for six years and no one has offered to give me a dime or even a certificate! When she was on DWTS, she acted so prudish. She told her mother that they wanted her to dance nasty. Like that was so below her values. Her mother told her to do whatever she had to do to win. Bristol became a "nasty girl" after Mother Palin gave her the green light. I wonder if Palin's son was conceived at the race track at high school? I met a guy who told me he was named Coney because he was conceived at Coney Island!! She name her son Track perhaps for sentimental value?? It really isn't any one's business as to with whom, when and where someone has sex. I think taken in the same light; the entire Palin family should stop talking about abstinence, marriage out of wedlock, teen sex and sex all together. They are experts about the subject; but not very good role models!! I am also surprised that they let the pictures get out about the wedding and the baby shower!! Somebody must have gotten paid big bucks for that!! I noticed also that even though the announcement of the baby was made, the fact that the baby was conceived out of wedlock was not made spoken about on CenturyLink's homeo page. Just the announcement. I get news from various Republican venues and I did not see any mention of it anywhere. Very interesting!!
