As much as it pains me to say, I don't expect much from Levi Johnston's book. Update!

Some of you have been asking if I received an advance copy of Levi's book, the answer is no.

And considering the falling out that I had with Rex Butler and Tank Jones, I am not at all surprised.

The only contact I have had with anybody connected to the book, was when the authors contacted me to ask for Sadie's phone number, which I thought was rather odd since they were working with her brother.

Anyhow here is a rather troubling excerpt from this book:

We hear his side of the story about her pregnancy and the birth of their son. Levi says that Bristol was inspired when she learned her mother was pregnant.

“I’m the one, Bristol said, who should be having a baby. Not Sarah. . . . Bristol looked at me. Let’s get pregnant.” Levi says Bristol didn’t stop talking about having a baby after her mother’s new son, Trig, arrived. “When she started talking about it, I asked her about birth control, but she assured me that everything was safe. I only half believed her.”

Later, he writes, “Bristol got pregnant on purpose. She had finally come clean, admitted to me that she hadn’t been taking her birth control pills. We were having a baby, end of story.”

Now I have NEVER spoken to Levi about Sarah's "pregnancy," and he has never given any hint to his mother or sister concerning what he knows, but if Tank Jones is to be believed (And there was a time when I still think he WAS telling the truth), he certainly knows something quite different than what is in this book.

But even if I did not have access to that kind of information it would be obvious that Levi was not telling the truth.

He claims that "Bristol didn't stop talking about having a baby after her mother's new son, Trig, arrived."

According to the official account of his birth, Tripp was born on December 27, 2008, and was originally supposed to have arrived ten days earlier. In order for that to have been a full term pregnancy, Bristol would have had to be pregnant no later than mid to late March 2008.

Trig was born on April 18, 2008.  Why would Bristol STILL have been trying to get pregnant after she supposedly was already pregnant?

And besides that according to Mercede and Sherry they were BOTH talking about getting pregnant, so Levi's story about being surprised simply does not ring true.

As I am sure most of you remember I had an author all ready to help Levi write a book in December of 2009, but when it came to actually signing a contract Rex and Tank got cold feet and backed out.

Part of me wonders if they realized that with my participation, THIS version of reality would never have made it into the book, therefore they needed to find co-authors who would not question Levi's version of events?

Well I still have Levi's book pre-ordered on my Nook, so I will sit down tomorrow and read through it before passing any final judgement.  However from what I have seen thus far, I fear that Levi may have kept the truth at arms length.

Update: I received my copy of the book and have already read almost a third of it.

It literally reads like Levi actually wrote it!  I did not expect it to be good, but this is a whole new level of bad!

I kid you not, the majority of it is actually about hunting and hockey!

I am sorry Levi, I wanted very much for you to vindicate yourself, but this is just embarrassing.  If you had just refused to let Tank and Rex take over your life you could have had so much.

If anybody reads it and has a different opinion feel free to share, but I can not imagine that being the case.

To be honest I am not sure I can even make myself finish reading this damn thing.

Anon 8:11 a.m. here - What does Tank believe or know??? Why did you have a falling out with Rex and Tank? Methinks if Levi had any useful or interesting information, he would have already let folks know..I think his book will probably be similar to Bristol's book...no new revelations, just his take on things.

Money is a powerful aphrodisiac. I think the Palins have paid off Levi to write a work of fiction which, they believe, will silence their critics. Little do they know....

The only person less likeable and believeable than the Palins is Levi (I took money for my silence and my son).

    Correction:

The Trigster was "allegedly" born on April 18th . . . and rather opaque language used there Levi...

"He claims that "Bristol didn't stop talking about having a baby after her mother's new son, Trig, arrived.""

Isn't that odd wording? Not just "her baby brother" or even just "Trig". And he DID NOT say "after her mother gave birth to her new son, Trig". I read this as, " after her mother took Trig as her new son".

I think Levi may be protecting his mother. Her entire case smells of corruption, and why wouldn't she still be in danger? I give him the benefit of the doubt, anyway.

When we read Joe McGuinness's book and understand the 'pathology' that is Sarah Palin, perhaps we will be more understanding of Levi.

She seems to have the power over Bristol to denigrate Levi and ultimately keep Levi's son a hostage to the Palin version of events.

I can tell you bristol was not thinking about babies in feb 2008. And she was happy in May, as evidenced in the F Bailey pic. I can believe her account in her book when she was mad at the trig secrecy then quickly became stoked beyond belief.

Even today, BRistol loves the babies.

I find his choice of words a bit odd "Trig Palin arrived" Arrived? Wouldn't "was born" be more in synch with his normal vocabulary?

Anyway, I never put much faith in him revealing anything significant, just look at the joke that they used as a cover and title for the book?

But I'll probably buy it, hoping it sells one more than Bristol's fable and to see what he has to say.

Do they really need more proof of narcissism than the Blood Libel video Palin unleashed on the day of the memorial for the Arizona massacre? They’re acting as if the revelations in McGinniss’ book should be analyzed in a vacuum, devoid of context.

It’s no wonder the liberal press feels so sorry for Palin that they tripping over themselves to defend her; McGinniss has waged the one war Sarah Palin’s thuggery can’t win — the verbal war.

  31. I just used an online gestational calendar, based on the dates in this post. (www.health.discovery.com)

If Tripp were born on Dec. 27, the estimated date of conception would have been April 5.

Trig was allegedly born April 16.

It seems virtually impossible for Levi's claim to be true: "Bristol didn't stop talking about having a baby after her mother's new son, Trig, arrived."

Will anyone (else) point out this near-impossibility?

Will anyone (else) wonder why the past 3 Heath/Palin births were significantly premature, based on the information provided by the family? (i.e., Trig, Tripp & Track's baby daughter)

Will anyone (else) realize how absurd the Palin stories are?!?!

    Wow.

My heart always aches for Levi. I think he is not very bright and has been taken advantage of by a very corrupt lawyer and his flunkie (who I honestly feel are being paid off by the Palins as I can see no other reason for the poor advice they have given this young man).

From what I have read, there are many young men like him..not very good in school, just out for a good time until they are old enough to go up and work on the slope and make good money. Unfortunately, because he was good looking and other girls wanted him, the class whore set her cap for him and that has changed his life forever. She was a slut when you met her Levi, how did you ever think she was ever going to be anything else? Like mother/like daughter.

I also think that he has to watch what he says because he knows that the vindictive Palin group controls the police department and we know that one of Sarah's good friends is in charge of the prison system (with no formal training).

So I was not expecting any big surprises or honest comments.

He needs to make as much money as he can now, though, as soon the whole group will just be a sad footnote in history.

May John McCain rot in hell for releasing these people on this country!!

I'm totally over this "Bristol rilly rilly wanted a baby" crap. It's been out there for what? 2 months already ? Is it the only excerpt (or micro-mini-excerpt) from his book worth hyping ?

I know he's taken a lot more heat during his 15 minutes than others who deserved it more.

And yeah, he (supposedly) has to be careful about what he says or the Palins will cut him off from Tripp.

But why nothing at all ever about visiting his son ?

Or Bris-dull pimping his kid for her lousy sur-reality show ?

Or Bris-dull (supposedly) teaching Tripp to razz Sadie, the sister who's (supposedly) always stood up for Levi and (supposedly) loves him so much?

Sorry but instead of "not much" all I'm expecting from his book is final proof he's a media whore -- and a poor one since so far he's only peddled lies or half-truths.

Hell, even his Playgirl pix only showed his backside !

I think the only time that Levi hinted at the truth of Trig's birth is when he mysteriously said "I know something Sarah DIDN'T do".

He said that in an interview shortly after his "hit piece" that was published in Vanity Fair. He was asked on-camera for instances of Sarah's misdeeds and that was his reply. Too bad they didn't push him on that.

But, I believe he is bought (probably with his mama's fate held before him) and it's possible he'll never be free to say.

Trig arrived after Sarah decided to fake a birth to take Levi and Bristol's first born child born with DS. Bristol was not aware that Sarah was going to fake a pregnancy so she got extremely upset when it happened. She and Levi then decided together to get pregnant again to piss Sarah off and this is how we got Tripp. Other than that I don't see any other reason why Bristol would be so upset about Trigg "arriving".

Levi is not telling the whole truth.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Anonymous6:08 PM

Sherry was set up and the rest is history. Levi isn't going to say anything to piss off the perpetrators - he's going to make a (small) buck that his lawyers will steal. I feel sorry for the whole bunch, they should have used the payoff money to get the fuck out of Wasilla.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The excerpt is ripe for parsing. Technically, based on the official story, Bristol wouldn't have known she was pregnant on April 18. (I believe she told Levi she was pregnant on May 1.) So, until that time, she wanted to keep trying.

Unless he wrote more about Trig's birth elsewhere, he sure danced around the issue by saying 'her mother's new son, Trig, arrived'. It sounds, at least, like he didn't commit an outright lie. I'm disappointed in him for continuing with the lie of omission. Can you image the book sales if he'd told the whole truth?

I won't buy the book so I'm looking forward to Gryphen's review.

I find it amazing that Levi has always been very respectful toward Bristol. I think in the end, Tripp will see that.

Yes, his book may be whitewashed & boring, but at least he will get his story out.

He seems like a nice kid who just got lost in the whole deal. He fell in love, got used, & headed to the woods. (with an occasional visit to LA)

Since there was skepticism regarding Levi to begin with, even if he had agreed with everything in Joe's book, he would be discredited by the media. His book is not being taken any more seriously than Bristol's. Neither of them wrote their books; neither is educated, and neither has any aspirations for making good choices to ensure that their children are better educated than they are. Just like Mama, it;s all about the exposure and the cash.

Isn't it weird how the truth is found soon after an event happens? Take the OJ Simpson case. He was threatening suicide in the Bronco chase on the LA highway back in, I believe, 1994? The truth was he murdered his wife and her friend but couldn't convince a jury because of shoddy attorneys for the prosecution and a couple of years lapse in time. Take what Levi said in his first interview after the McCain/Palin defeat. That was some truth that Levi was telling. How Sarah would come home and say how she hated her job. She wanted to go get some of that easy money and be on TV and hear the adulation from all of her adoring fans as she had experienced for four months leading up to the election. She would go home, go to her room and watch Bridezillas on cable TV and eat Taco Bell crunch wraps. Todd was sleeping on the couch or his Lazyboy lounge chair. She even came home one day and said she didn't want to hold the retarded baby but the other one. Levi also said Sarah wanted Bristol and Levi to let her adopt the baby. Well we all know she wasn't talking about the baby later known as Tripp. Ah, the truth. Now that interview was the truth and I don't imagine that Levi got paid too much for that one. We know what the truth is/was. Trouble is, the last three years has clouded Levi's memory.

Besides the suggestion to donate to IM, I suggest the photo that shows the 18-day change in Sarah's body from March 26 to April 13, 2008 could be used as a fitting tribute to the inane attempts by the Palin apologist. How about one public posting of the photo for every troll comment? Or maybe 5 to one? By public posting I mean both actual physical posters in public areas and also distributing the photo online at places such as Craig's List.

Todd Palin was a viscous flirt who spied on naked girls, even while married to Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, a new book asserts.

In the book -- titled "The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin," written by Joe McGinniss and due out Tuesday -- a woman in Todd Palin's hometown of Dillingham, Alaska said that "Todd hit on me" constantly in the mid-1990s.

McGinniss interviewed the woman, who said she used to hang around the local fishermen during the summers, one of whom was married to Wasilla politician Sarah Palin.

"During summer, the fishing season, Todd was out there, and they'd all flirt with me. I'd probably flirt back," the "attractive white woman," told McGinnis.

"One day... Todd was in his old Ford truck with a boat hooked up to the back, and he was like, 'Come here.' I had on these overalls with a bikini top, and he said 'I hear lots about you.' Then he said 'Turn around,' and I said, 'What?' and he said 'I hear you got a great heart-shaped ass' and 'Aren't you just adorable?'"

If that wasn't enough, the woman retells another conversation between Todd Palin and herself, in which the fisherman and snow mobile enthusiast implied that he's been secretly looking at her while she changed her clothes.

"One day Todd made a comment about my nipples being pink," she noted "I said, 'You've never seen me naked,' and he said, 'Well, maybe there's a peephole.' Todd and his friends had been peepin' on us for months. And he wasn't some horny teenager; he was a grown and married man."

"The Rogue" paints Sarah Palin, once a candidate for the vice-president of the United States, in an even more negative light. McGinnis asserts that Palin had an extra-marital affair with one of her husband's business partners, and also had a tryst ex-NBA player Glen Rice.

She told Levi a day or two before his bday (his AND Bristols stories). When HE was notified, he ran upstairs to tell his mother one of them called Sadie.

Personally, I would like to know what pissed Levi off around his bday. I was re checkinv myspace for clues and am SOOOO curiouso why Sadie told Johnny on May 4, that early morning, Levi still mad, he goes hunting every night.

REALLY Sadie? Levi was mad and went hunting right around the time Bristol told him she was pregnant????????

I didn't read all the comments but I do want to say I'll be reading Joe's book and not Levi's. I don't read books that are written by a "ghostwriter." I didn't buy nor read Sarah's books, Bristol's book and I surely won't be buying Levi's book. I did buy and read Geoffrey Dunn's book though, why?, because it was written by the author.

I've been a Levi supporter from way back. Ever since his endearingly honest answer to a reporter from his driveway, that he didn't think anything ill of Barack Obama, and felt that he was actually kind of cool.

I've been suspicious of his mother's entrapment and this serious underdog family's troubles since hitching their wagon to the even trashier Palin's.

Still, that is one dumb-ass book cover and Levi still retains some dumb-ass representation in all matters of his life and custody arrangement.

Levi's comments have been all over the place since Day One. I have a number of sons his age, they are good folk, but in those years, their memories, their agendas, are totally fungible.

He got caught up in something entirely over his head. I don't expect him to make sense of it, or tell the truth, until he is in his 30s. Factoring in the wool (and possibly the payoff) the Palins pulled over his eyes, yeah, that.

Bad legal representation, very bad. Tank is incompetent.

Despite Levi's huge problems in the past, I believe he is a gentleman. I believe, despite his actions, he loves his son and son's mother. I think he took the respectful road FOR THE MOST PART.

And who could blame him. Would you want your son to know you were a massive druggie, huge playboy and dropout at 16?

  74. Without knowing what is in the book, but reading that Levi said she wanted to get pregnant when she found out her mother was pregnant. Was this in Feb. when Trig was born and Sarah took her as her own? I don't believe Sarah started faking her pregnancy until Trig was born. Then Bristol said I will show her and get pregnant again, so I can have my own baby. Maybe Levi didn't know she was pregnant, that baby in the kitchen was a premiee in April, how small would Bristol have been at seven months?

I can't imagine any boy in high school thinking that it was a good idea to have sex with the idea of conceiving a baby. As I remember the guys in high school, the last thing that they wanted to do was get a girl pregnant.

For those of you wondering about the timing of Levi's comment, please remember that due dates are calculated by the first day of the last menstrual period.

Using an online pregnancy calculator (there are many), to get a due date of December 18, 2008 (reported by Chuckie), the first day of the last menstrual period would have been March 12, 2008. So, by April 10, she would have been late.

Any woman (and especially any girl) can tell you that whether you're trying to get pregnant or not, you would be taking that pregnancy test very soon after April 9. Home pregnancy tests are now accurate as early as 7 days after ovulation, which means they are accurate as soon as one is late.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/political-bookworm/post/levi-johnston-on-love-sex-and-abstinency/2011/09/19/gIQAEB4zfK_blog.htm

"How badly it all ended, as anyone even half-conscious cannot have missed. In the book, Levi parades his love, their young lustful appetites and the turmoil over teenage parenthood.

We read about them getting interrupted while showering together when Bristol’s dad, Todd, comes home unexpectedly but fails to catch on to their antics."

    Another excerpt:
When Bristol eventually began speaking out against sexual activity among teens, she and Levi saw the irony in it. “My babe had now been transformed into a sexual-abstinence advocate,” Levi writes. “I told her it sounded sexy dirty to me.”

Bristol started to laugh, and Levi joined in. Soon they were doubled over in laughter.

“She caught her breath enough to tell me that, when her mom first mentioned this career possibility to her, Bristol asked her what abstinence was. She was just joshing me, making fun. She was collecting piles of money describing the horrors of teen pregnancy and before that, of course, teen sex. Which every single kid Bristol and I knew was engaged in. Give me a break.”

The cover of Levi's book says it all even if you're illiterate: "someone not-too-bright 'wrote' this."

Levi is - no offense intended - fairly representative of the cloud of dimwits that surrounds Palin. He may not be an ass kissing flying monkey sycophant, but smart people don't tend to stay very long in Palin's company. I guess we can somewhat forgive Levi's preoccupation with Palin's daughter, whose sexual appetites apparently were comparable to Levi's. Maybe if they'd been less sexually compatible he'd have run for the hills MUCH sooner. Even still, it seems as if Levi is pulling his punches concerning what he knows about Sarah. Sounds like Sarah owns his nuts, too. Gee, by my count she has at LEAST six balls to call her own - Toad's, Brad Hanson's, and Levi's. She's more macho than any of the men around her.

As for people who actually HAVE brains - or their own balls, either Palin gets scared of them and chews them up and spits them out or they simply realize what a psychotic piece of work Palin actually is and they run away as fast as they can.

EVERYBODY in or around Palin's orbit is a fucking loser. Every last one of them. Nobody with any brains or an ounce of self respect would have anything to do with this greedy, vindictive, lying, narcissistic buffoon.

Even after being shat upon by Palin, some of these needy souls seem to be ready to be called back into the fold at any second. I still hold out a bit of hope that Bailey might actually be wising up and be finally ready to TOTALLY burn his bridges back into Palinland. He said a couple of things in his recent "Hardball" appearance that made me wonder if he had waited to write his book until now if it might not have contained more revelations.

Bailey, it's time you hoisted a giant "FUCK YOU" flag in Palin's direction. If I were you, I'd also seriously rethink your association with all of those dominionist losers who seem to be just fine and dandy with Palin. They are all fucking crazy and would all love to see you burn in hell for your transgressions toward Saint Sarah.

Palin attracts losers the way shit attracts flies. She is the Pied Piper of self loathing morons. She collects zombie rats.

I don't say this often enough but, goddamn Sarah Palin and go to hell.

Opinion: Why We Should Take the Sarah Palin Book Seriously

...Truth will always be a defense to libel. And political agenda and unnamed sources aside, the real value in any book about Sarah Palin will be in the study of her character and characteristics as a leader. For too long there has been reluctance, in the press, to talk about her qualities and qualifications, with any real clarity.

So effective has been the mainstreaming of Product Palin, so deliberate the rebranding of her brand of populism, that we seem to have forgotten with whom and what we are dealing. The magazine covers, the TLC reality show, two book tours, not to mention Bristol Dancing With the Stars, and mainstream USA has become so dazzled celebrity Palin that we have lost sight of why we rejected candidate Palin, in the first place. Insofar as The Rogue can remind us of the real Sarah Palin, the book will be valuable for that, if for nothing else.

I'm sorry, but your "biological" clock should not be ticking when you are 17. Yes, you want to get laid, frequently, but wanting a baby at 17? That is just plain weird. For a person to give up that young and just say, "that's it, my life is over" is beyond normal reasoning.

I think a lot of these girls in the Valley are knocked up young simply because they are stupid, they are "abstinence only " types, and their parents are too brainwashed religious to do the sensible thing and get them an abortion instead of letting them ruin their lives in their mid-teens.

It's all so sickening, but mostly these little twits have little going on mentally so perhaps they should just be parents. They certainly are in no danger of becoming doctors or physicists. You see them in the grocery store using their "food cards" and then you see them lined up at the Food Bank, trying to feed their spawn. Sad, and unecessary.

Um, LARGE numbers of teen girls get pregnant and/or keep the baby precisely because they DON'T feel secure in their family support. In fact, I would bet that more teen girls who get pregnant and keep the babies come from dysfunctional families rather than stable, healthy, supportive ones.

I believe Levi when he told Vanity Fair that Sarah kept bugging him and Bristol that she wanted to adopt their baby. It would make no sense for Sarah, who was just supposed to have given birth to a DS baby and had her eye on the VP nomination to adopt a child.

No, the baby that Sarah wanted to adopt was Trig, or the first baby that Bristol had. She would want to cover up the fact that her daughter did not practice abstinence. In fact, I believe Levi when he said that he and Bristol refused to left Sarah adopt their baby.

I also agree with Telah, 7:48, that Sarah didn't take "No" for an answer. The baby was already born, and when it looked as if he was strong enough to survive, Sarah just announced her "pregnancy". Bristol felt as if she had been robbed. No wonder that Bristol wanted to replace Trig as quickly as possible.

I wonder what they did to Levi, making him sign something or holding his mother hostage so that Levi doesn't say too much.

"Bristol didn't stop talking about having a baby after her mother's new son, Trig, arrived."

Well, my baby "arrived," also, many years ago on an Alaska Airlines flight from the lower '48. We called it "adoption." Kinda odd that he didn't say, "After her mother gave birth to her brother, Trig." Sounds like he is choosing his words here.

And I'm still wondering why Levi and Bristol named their baby after Bristol's dad's hooker. Now, that is one vindictive family. Whew-Wee!

Anyway, after Levi's big boner - saying he lied about Sarah - I don't know how many people would believe anything Levi said. So, I didn't spend my money on his book, instead, I bought two of Joe's books - one for me and one for a friend. And four of Dunn's books. One for me and one for my friend, and two to be passed around. Everyone loved those two books, and they are continuing to be passed around.

Joe's book kinda reads like a gossip rag mag - but, hey, all that stuff about the Palins need to be said over and over until the people in the Lower 48 start believing it. We live it. I'm tired of traveling and people asking about Palin. I tell them the truth. They say, "How come we never hear any of that." I want to say, "Learn to read."

Why wont anyone talk about the fall 07? The NY trip? DUUUUUUUDE! There are several moments that contradict Levi, like how the Palin home was never empty, tha tSarah was always entertaining colleagues and Gov shit. But then again, I doubt he was really around. Bristol seemed to do the girlfriend thing most of 07. ANd he totally doesn't mention one other girl.

Many of "Levi's" sentences make zero sense. And the cooking thing was a lie. Sarah may not cook often but she did cook. She even tried to show Levi how to roast something in the stove. There are SOOOO many inaccuracies, things that didnt have to be there. But, then again, if Dunn and Joe made tiny mistakes, I guess it's not weird.

Ok, I must say this before I go nuts. Levi's version of events during the campaign seriously don't match up. If Bristol were as timid as he describes and she really wanted to be out of the spotlight, why did you go on the trail for a good portion of the time? She posed for pictures and went to the hockey game. Her smile seemed genuine.

I think Levi's book is majorly complicating things a great deal.

The rogue may be interesting gossip , but hardly dented her as there was no one willing to come forward esp on baby gate. thats all people want to know now. she will get away with everything else she has done .. this is the only one that keeps people from voting for her .. if she lied and why . if she is the mother of trig then well you might have just handed her the nomination .. but pretty sure that she is waiting to see the fallout , this time she is getting prepared by having answers for all questions that come out from these books. when i mean prepared, it could also mean having to make a fake back story to discredit them.. see bristol and her preg has nothing to do now with her agenda .. its old news.. the only news worth holding her back apart from her lack of intelligence is trig ... she can ride the sympathy wave very easily if Gryphen's accusations turns to be a dud... or she will once and for all sink into a hole she cannot dig out of ... she will be another rush limbaugh .. a king maker of sorts ... or maybe run for senate from arizona after mccain steps down ..

    7:27 PM

...............what about Bristol's statements in her book about buying all of those pregnancy tests which Willow found in her purse?

Why is Willow always finding things like the ultrasound and the pregnancy tests?

    60 seconds.

He is an under-educated twenty something. He likes to be in the woods. He likes trucks. He likes girls.

    What do you expect?

He is getting a family law attorney. He is regretful about not fighting back harder.

My child is almost 17 & he can't even cook a meal. I can't imagine him becoming a father & dealing with a vindictive, manic depressive family.

I love how Levi describes himself as being super pro active on everything. This kid is the opposite of pro active. ALL he does is hunt. He has taken 3 years and wasted them. He has hunted away his life because he's lost.

So, Levi says Bristol was due 3 WEEKS after Boxing Day, putting it in the middle of January. Then he said under the Mercede/BRistol picture, Bristol was 2 mos pregnant in that picture.

Methinks Levi tells soooo many lies that he is more confused than ever.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Anonymous2:04 AM

I was told by a family member (not Sherry or Mercede) that Bristol and Levi had gotten pregnant on purpose too. This was shortly after the whole world found out about the pregnancy, when Sarah threw Trig's baby blanket over Bristols enormous bosom and obviously pregnant tummy, and then paraded the family across the stage at the Republican Convention.

I remember asking the relative why they had purposely gotten pregnant at such young ages, and her best guess was that they were "just stupid kids".

Interestingly, she also said that the whole thing with snatching Levi out of the wilderness, bathing and shaving him, and presenting him to the world as Bristols intended husband was just a farce. She said that Levi and Bristol did plan to get married, but that Todd and Sarah had treated Levi horribly before that and told him that he would never see his baby.

I guess that last part has definitely proven to be true.

  177. Once it became obvious that Levi was not going to put the Truth about Babygate in the book I knew that he was still playing a game.

He is trying to strreeetttccchhh out his 15 minutes as long as humanly possible (sorry, kid, you AIN'T Sarah Paylin. The crazy bitch is AMAZING at that!).

I believe he wrote the book and withheld the MOST SALACIOUS truths for two reasons, that aren't mutually exclusive:

    - he's not "allowed" to bring up the truth about Babygate lest he lose his "contract" w. the Paylins/$$$?

    - he has to WAIT OUT something (either his contract, or his mom's sentence, or the Paylin marriage)

I think he's simply trying to get as much $$ as he possibly can from this endeavor without giving away "THE GOLDEN EGG" (or whatever the hell u wanna call it).

His knowledge of the truth surrounding Sarah Paylin's pregnancy is his insurance policy that he will hold until ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, and then he expects his lawyers to get him 6 or 7 figures to FINALLY tell the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth, about EVERYTHING he knows about the Paylins.

    It's just not time yet.

  184. I just finished Levi's book.
The beginning is pretty bad, I understood Gryphens fury. But as I continued to read I got a very good picture. The picture I saw was a young uneducated man manipulated, used and abused by the adults he was suppose to trust most by the people who took his money to protect him. I feel that Rex and Tank should both be in jail for there manipulation of Levi. They completely used and abused him. I understand his trust for them, he desperately needed to trust someone. And it was Sarah Palin who put him in that position period. There may be no new revelations in this book, (who can blame Levi for that) but I think this paints a very true picture of Sarah Palin. A woman who would use all the tools she did to vilify Levi the father of her grandson a teenager at the time and hurt him at every turn has no business being in public office any public office. By the time I tuned the last page I was proud of Levi and wish him a long happy healthy life.

    Gasman, you called it!

I cancelled my preorder for Levi’s book last night. After reading what G posted I assumed Levi’s tome was much ado about nothing. With all the critical books on Palin; Game Change, Blind Allegiance, Paradigm Shift : The Palin Matrix, The Lies of Sarah Palin, and now The Rogue, Levi’s softball release is tantamount to comic relief.

I agree, he must have been bought, and in the Palin circle of ‘profit sharing’ he is a bottom feeder; trying to get what little he can while the getting’s good. It’s terribly sad, as we can only assume he knows a few of the skeletons Palin has hidden. Levi could help to blow her out of the water, or at the least add holes in her armor.

What would make my day to no end would be a book by either Nicole Wallace or Steve Schmidt. As campaign insiders they would have MASSIVE credibility! Palin’s hair would ignite and that poor fridge would be atomized! There would be “shameful joy” world wide (I can never remember how to spell that word, though I love it so).

I’d like to think her days are numbered, but it’s taking so long to bring her down
