Afterward, I complimented her on her incredible stamina."
Before the next class, the instructor approached the three men. "Sarah Palin says she's uncomfortable," the instructor said, "because she thinks you guys are ogling her butt. She wants me to move you to the front of the room so you won't be able to watch her during class."
The men agreed. But that didn't work either. "You guys are so big," the instructor said, "that when you're in the front of the room you block everybody's view of me." ...
A friend offered a different perspective. "One morning," she told me during the summer of 2010, "Sarah came back in her workout stuff— her outfits were very provocative— and she's singing, 'I like big butts and I cannot lie,' and she's dancing around the kitchen. Todd comes in from the garage, and Sarah starts going on about how the guys are checking her out at the workout place. The way she's saying it is totally antagonizing Todd, and he finally says, 'Well, why don't you put some fuckin' clothes on?'"
As you can see Palin has been using charges of sexist behavior against her opponents LONG before Joe McGinniss ever showed up next door.

I found Joe's interview with Piers Morgan painful to watch. Morgan's bullying style of asking questions and his constant habit of talking over Joe's answers put Joe on the defensive and made him look bad. Although Joe tried to get a word in edgewise, it seemed it was Morgan's intention to paint him as some kind of perverted kook and not the respected author he is.

I'm very conflicted about a lot of the sexual dysfunction being exposed in this book. I was raised in a Southern Baptist family with a very authoritarian family structure. I had to obey the power figures. At the age of 9, one of those figures was very inappropriate with me. I wasn't allowed to disobey, but I knew something was wrong. All I could do was cry. And be obedient. Someone walked in on the incident - and yelled at me! Then the authoritarians punished me, not the perp, who was invited to take a lush job elsewhere. He was the church pastor. Only much later did I learn that he had also raped my Sunday school teacher.

His basic premise is that the whole book consists of this kind of low-level trash talk. Now Smerconish is no brain trust (in my view)but I am getting very discouraged with the media pushback this book is getting. His one insightful comment: "The Palins should thank McGinniss. He gave heft to their penchant for playing the vicitim card." And you know, that's what I fear the most: that Sarah Palin will get MORE support because of this book. Argh.

If you've spent the last couple of years examining her past and present behavior, you see the same types of behavior over and over. Drawing attention to herself and then accusing people of staring. Everything she does is pretty much a variation on that theme. It is the groove that her narcissistic personality runs in. I would kinda like to know how much of it is conscious behavior and how much is the narcissistic groove. I know that narcissistic people tend to be VERY self-unaware. The unintentional irony in so much of what she says confirms that. I'm just curious from a psychological standpoint about how much of Sarah's behavior is independently plotted and how much is just the automatic reactions of a really screwed up person.

Yes, Anon, I concur and in fact I posted this comment on another threat yesterday. It is absolutely clear for me, though others may disagree, her behavioral patterns are exactly like the many girls I've counseled through the years that experienced sexual abuse at an early age. And yes, I also believe it was Creepy Chuck and I also have my suspicions that incest is rampant in parts of Wasilla...if you know what I mean.

It's been lurking in the background for a long time, but I suspect that Joe discovered that Sarah Palin was sexually molested at a very early age, whether incestuously or otherwise, it is glaringly apparent to anyone who has worked with women with early sexual experiences. The way she carries herself, the history of promiscuity, the coarse, vile sexual imagery language she uses when referring to males, the come hither behavior, the lip licking, the inappropriate dress, the salacious actions, all learned and rewarded early on. My suspicion leans to her creepy father as the perpetrator, but it could have been anyone.
This early molestation is what caused the rage, the split personality sort of behavior...the split from a normal child to a female child who learned how to work her wiles and use her body to get what she wanted, attention and love. She still does it. We've all seen it. It's her survival mechanism from early childhood.
She may not even remember it, but she's been psychologically battling it ever since.
I have no proof, but for me it's very clear if one has ANY experience with early abuse victims of sexual molestation. It was probably around 6 or 8 that it happened...
didn't Joe say something about Sarah saying it wasn't healthy for girls to sleep with pajamas and they should sleep naked...WHO taught her that?
The more I see her the more it cements it for me that this is the case. And THIS is most likely what Joe left out.

I am up anticipating your first and second post (between 2am and 5am) California time. I was very excited about McGinnis’ book, and felt that the down fall of a very vindictive, and hate filled woman would finally be ruined, but with the same breath, I remember how Senator Joseph McCarthy, survived for many years the fear mongering and falsely accusing people of being communist or sympathizers, and also Bush and Cheney repulsive administration survived, primarily because they were defended by the Republican Party in Congress. So, I fear that it will still be a long battle before an actual defeat will come to Mrs. Palin. My interest of Mrs. Palin comes from a philosophical/ ethical perspective more than a political one. How Social Malevolence can survive. I feel it will take words that were uttered to McCarthy by a reputable journalist to defeat her. Joe McGinniss: Threats are the ‘Palin way’

People in Wasilla are very scared of the Palins, and this goes back to her time as mayor,” the author said. “They fear retribution. There are people who wouldn’t even meet me socially because if Sarah found out, anything could happen.”
McGinniss irritated the Palins by renting a house next door to theirs n Wasilla, Ala., when he was researching the book.
The author recalled an incident in which Todd Palin came over to him on the porch shortly after he moved in to say, “Let’s just see how long you stay here.”
“He greeted me with a threat. That’s the Palin way – threatening,” McGinniss said on CNN.
“Sarah Palin has lived an outrageous life, and all I did was talk to people about it,” he said. “When I was comfortable with the veracity of what I heard, I put it into the book.”
When asked if there as anything likable about Sarah Palin, McGinniss could only think of one thing.
“I lived next to her and of course I never looked at what was going on on the other side of the fence, but I knew that a lot of the ducks on Lake Lucille went over toward the Palin dock, and I can only think that that’s because she was feeding them. And feeding the ducks would be a nice thing to do,” McGinniss said.
“The Rogue” caused a media frenzy when a leaked copy of the book claimed that Palin had a one-night stand with former NBA star Glen Rice. Also in the book are accusations of the former vice presidential candidate of having an eating disorder and a lack of an intimacy with her husband.

I have to laugh at this silly woman who thinks every male who sees her desires her. My ex is always saying she is just as flat as a pancake back there, and that picture of her thighs is one of the ugliest sights I've seen in a long time. I love that picture of Sarah bent over in her shorts because it shows the real Sarah Palin in all her old wrinkly ass unsexiness. That picture should come with a warning in case you just ate a meal or have a weak stomach.
Another great picture of Sarah Palin is the one recently posted by Gryphen. It was a close up "zoomed in" picture of her eyes where it shows every wrinkle, crevice, nook and cranny around her eyes and she has a lot of them. A shar pei dog has less wrinkles than Sarah.
Sarah is not aging well.
Gryph those are great pictures and hopefully you will bring them back every once in a while (every week) to knock Sarah's ego down 10 notches.

It is apparent that most people think Sarah is in control of her life and has independent thought.

Anon, I had been looking for your post because I wanted to validate it. YES, you are RIGHT.
Same thing happened to ME, except I do not call myself a victim but rather, a survivor, thank you.
Also, I was not exposed to an Abuser/Parent model who exacted such revenge on people as did Chuck Heath.
Anon Poster, you've no idea how crystal clear you just made a few things to me. I can see where my Abuser/Parent model is exactly the one I ended up following though.
As for Palin. Wow. But look, I always stand by a bottom line that I believe holds true once a person reaches adulthood: Yeah, what happens to you in childhood sure can suck BUT it's not your fault. However; once you know better AND you have a CHOICE - then - the blame for choices made is on you and you alone. You are the one, and the only one, who makes those choices on what to do or not do. Period.
So people, if she was abused by Chuck or someone else, well, that was horrible, without a doubt. Someone should pay for it, if at all possible.
I guess what I am saying is that I see how she models the behavior of Chuck Sr. v. the model of behavior I saw in my abuser (he wasn't violent).
When it comes to looks, I have known exactly what it is that Sarah does because I myself have done it also. I've done the same skimp on the facts, charm them with the dazzle. It's called charisma. I haz it. In fact, at 49 I'm only a bit out of shape for the 1st time in my life. I had a bunny-body till into my early 40's. And yes, I have pics. Sarah's good-looking, yes. But I am not jealous at all. I mean, she had 4 kids, after all. That's a killer.
I'm only saying this to relate to the A-Hole. Who, frankly, I believe started falling apart waaaay before me.
Anon Commenter - in summary, I believe you are so correct about survivors of abuse acting out in sexual ways later in life. And I'm not talking about the usual young person experimentation/affairs and so on Which I had pleeeeety of). I'm talking about the personalization of sexual undertones that gets incorporated into everything: work, friendships, commerce, you name it.
Pardone my long rant. I hope I managed to convey that tiny little beam of enlightenment that I happened upon that may shed a little light up the mess that is also - Sarah Palin.

I am so glad to see that someone had finally shined a light on the issue of early sexual abuse related to Sarah. It is clearly the 'elephant in the room' that no one will touch. For me it completely explains her sexually driven language, her accusations of pedophilia, her language designed to castrate. She counter if you have the ears to hear i Her entire persona is rooted in the sexual deviation she experienced, most likely LONG before puberty, and her telegraphing that victimization is at the core of her entire 'victim' message she falls back on. When a child is violated in this fashion, there is a splintering of personality to help to deal with the trauma, with one part seeking the new found form of attention and affection tat is associated with physically being make to feel good, desirable, but there is also the part that KNOWS it's not right, that it is shameful and out of bounds. If it was her father who was the perpetrator, it would speak to her STRANGE relationship with him and him with her seeing her as a 'hot' governor. My heart goes out to the little girl who was injured, but not to the woman who chose to inflict her pain on others.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who has experienced incest will back me up on what I am saying, though it's a dicey subject to cover, it's one that is the core of what makes Sarah 'tick'. The abused becomes the abuser..old story.
Someone said that maybe Joe had discovered this well kept secret during his time in Wasilla...I'm dying to know if it's in the book, but if it isn't, I still would put a bet down that he stumbled into it.
Ewww-not what I wanted to see while eating my lunch.Guess she doesn't like them checking out her butt,but the mysteriously shrinking/growing boobs ogling is permitted and encouraged? I outgrew that kind of behavior in,oh,say Junior High-as do most women.She is pathetic.

She's definately used to using her looks to get what she wants, even to the point of looking completely absurd while doing it.
The Water bra, then ranting about the attention saying she'd have to dress in layers blah blah blah...
I can see people saying she exhibits the coping skills of young molestation victims. Disengaging and seeming to have an out of body experience do help the victim survive the shock of the initial assault. What I just don't get is why she's so stuck on sex, seduction, and power.
Her lies keep tripping her up, trig was first born in mat su, then in a later teaparty speech, it was anchorage. She can't keep track of the lies, and the proof is all over the blogs, the internet, and the emails that were released. Why have the announcemnt from God pre written and ready to go long before the birth?
Anyway, I can't thank you enough, Gryphen, and other commenters. Seeing the attention Joe's book is getting makes me so proud of all the hard work you've done, along with all the other bloggers, all these years. I hope Audrey realizes how much I miss her and how much I thank her for exposing the fraud.
Those thighs, and pasty white reptillian skin are not flattering. No wonder whe wore those greasy looking black hose in the trashy running photos SHE posed for while defiling the flag.
